Fantastic service! After 30+ years of buying fuel and having my burner serviced by City Fuel, I decided to take them up on the offer to quote a mini-split system for my home. Cant say enough about the workers. All polite,well mannered, and knowledgeable. Special kudos to Jay for always smiling despite record high temps and to Eric for stopping by regularly to check on the job. I would highly recommend them.

I have been a customer for over 14 years and I would not buy oil from anyone else. They always deliver next day upon calling. I also purchased a boiler from them with good pricing. I have had service done in the past and they only fix what needs to be fixed, no up-charging or selling of unnecessary parts. Very honest company.

We have been a customer with City Fuel for years. Recently, our furnace needed to be replaced. It was over 60 years-old sooo. Anyway the staff at City scheduled us for service in a very timely manner. The techs did an awesome job and were professional and courteous. It was a huge furnace and when it came time for it to be removed it was all hands on deck. It seemed they brought everyone in to help and they were able to get it out and replaced in no time. Afterwards, one of our neighbors needed work done on their furnace without hesitation we recommended City Fuel and they had them come to their home. After they had City Fuel take care of them and our neighbors thanked us profusely for recommended City Fuel to them. They were extremely happy with the service they received too. Awesome company highly recommend for your home heating and cooling needs. They also recently installed a mini-splint in. our home.

City fuel came to the Derry Housing & Redevelopment Authoritys aid when one of its buildings was completely out of fuel. We werent even their customer at the time!!! EDIT: Have since been contacted by city fuel and been credited the amount owed.After Cancelling Service at old address and receiving refund, I am now being billed for oil delivered to the old address after 5 months since moving. Attempted to work with and explain to their customer service, but instead of attempting to contact the new home owners they are insisting on giving me the bill. And insisting I am the one at fault. Asked for manager to contact me because they always seem to be out of the office, has not contacted me since this incident occurred weeks ago.

Had an issue with our furnace. Within a few hours someone was at my door. The technician that arrived ( AL ) was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. The employees are the reason why I will continue to use and recommend City Fuel to everyone. Thank you!

Only offers services if you order oil from them. While I could understand complimentary services, offering paid services seems like a great way to obtain new customers. Rather than offering to take me on as a customer the answer was simply we do offer that service, but only to regular customers and a simple no.

City Fuel is outstanding. Been with them for over a decade. Recently my furnace stopped working at the worse time. Freezing out and I had no heat or hot water. I called everyone for emergency assistance. No one had space or time to assist. I dont know why I didnt call City Fuel first. They came out the next day and resolved the issue immediately. As a new homeowner, I have received countless Welcome to the neighborhood letters from oil providers. Well due to being a naive new homeowner, we ran out of oil late on a Friday night. I called several companies (all through their emergency service hotline) and was told by 3 companies I would be contacted shortly. Well City Fuel connected me to a tech right away and he notified me of my options. He was extremely helpful and told me to call the next morning in hopes of getting a short notice delivery. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call at 7:45am from the woman at City Fuel who already knew my situation. She walked me through setting up an account and assured Id be taken care of, all while making me feel like less of an ass for letting our oil run out. Customer service top-notch right there. Then, when the delivery came, the guy was very nice, funny, and informative. City Fuel has earned a loyal customer and I highly recommend them!

As a new homeowner, that was looking for reasonable company to purchase heating oil from. I filled out the application on Saturday and did not receive a phone call until Tuesday. When I did receive the phone call, the woman stated I noticed that you filled out an application. I told her that I had found another heating oil company and she state GOOD LUCK WITH THAT in an extremely sarcastic and condescending manner. Due to this extremely rude experience over the phone, I will make sure that all my friends that own homes and need heating oil know not to go with City Fuel!

Terrible customer service, uncaring. Would not recommend. I arranged for delivery to be made on a friday. They never showed up or called. It was after hours and when i talked to on call person and they wanted $187 to help me out when they messed up. I asked to speak with supervisor who called me awhile later after much pushback from on call tech, was mean because i bothered him on his off hours and hung up on me. Left me without fuel and cold an entire weekend when i had grandkids coming over. Not good customer service. I had been with them 3 years.

Absolute worst customer service Ive ever dealt with..when calling for oil, person on the phone asked me if I had an account. I said Im not sure but I used you all last year (my first year in the house) .well you have to have an account she said..she didnt ask me if I would like to open one..she didnt offer to look to see if I was in the system...nothing. I fired them right then.

We have had some issues with delivery with not the best response from whoever answers their phones but the regional manager contacted us after business hours to apologize and offer a credit to our account.

It was fuelish!!
