Went to kays to have our rings serviced for warranty. For some reason they couldnt find us in their system, of course I started to panic. Some wonderful employee Carissa came to our rescue. She reassured me that shed do everything she could to find us, or make things right! She was so professional and extremely friendly. She finally worked her magic, found our information and corrected what was necessary so we wouldnt have to go through this in the future. My rings went out for servicing and I felt at piece. Thank you Carissa!!
I came in to this location to be sized as my fiancée was buying my engagement ring at a different Kay’s location. The ring came in slightly big, oh well. Brought it to the Manchester location to purchase our wedding bands and send my ring to be sized. All 3 of the rings came back the wrong size. Now my engagement ring has to be sent out to be sized A THIRD TIME. and my wedding band to be sized a second time. My fiancees ring can’t be sized so needs to be replaced. WELL they can no longer find the ring in his actual size so we need to pick and entirely new ring. This whole process has been frustrating and exhausting. Not only am i without my ring for another few weeks but I’m now concerned with the durability of it after being sized so many times. All i can say is DONT buy your jewelry from Kay’s, and if you do, definitely not from this location. Disappointed.
Absolutely amazing experience. Jeweler Karissa is our new best friends and very sweet
Ive stood in line for 32 minutes so far. No greeter to answer simple questions, and its extremely likely that they will not even have the one very basic piece of jewelry Im here searching for. The one employee not attending to customers is standing in the back with her hand on her hip, while the manager helps another employee. This company couldnt care less about taking care of their customers. Dont waste your time coming here.
I found that Kay’s has little if any respect for their customers. Yes we are in a difficult time, but the lack of information as to hours is inexcusable. I check online for store hours. It shows the store will open at 10am. I arrive to learn that the mall, they are in, doesn’t open until 11am. I called the listed phone number for the store, no answer. I wait the hour. At 11am I go in to learn the the store doesn’t open until 12pm. A total waste of two hours. Yes it would cause Kay’s a effort to post the correct hours. But if that is what a quality business that wants a good customer relationship would do. I guess that’s beyond Kay’s comprehension.
Amelia is the best in the biz! No close second. Her vision is great and her customer service is A1
My boyfriend bought my ring here. When i went to get it resized the workers didnt acknowledge me at first. Im assuming it was because I look young. They were about to skip over me but the other customer said I had been here first (and I had clearly been waiting) Resizing took a little over 2 weeks. The quality of the resizing was bad and very noticeable. It had also come back looking dirty. About 2 months later a diamond fell out. They told me it would be 3 weeks to get it fixed. I called today and they have added another 2 weeks to that. Very disappointing.
When you buy a 5k+ engagement ring you expect your bride to be able to actually wear it. The resizing was a week longer than estimated at 3 weeks. Two diamonds have already fallen off in 1 month so it is in again to be repaired and the promise date means absolutely nothing. Here I am on the promise date after checking to confirm on the phone yesterday it would be here and ITS NOT HERE. Maybe tomorrow though. WOW. 🤯
Picked out my wedding bands last night at Kay Jewelers and got my ring cleaned and inspected Sonya was BEYOND AMAZING! She was helpful and patient even with my kids bouncing around. Out of all the times I have taken my ring to be cleaned it has never sparkled this much!! She deserves a raise and way more then just 5 stars for a rating! Making this one my new Kay Jewelers for anything I need!
Fantastic staff and very knowledgeable. Very pleased with my experience at Kay Jewelers in Manchester.
Jewelry ordered on 4/11/2020, funds taken from account on 4/13/2020 (Kay’s wasted no time taking their money) and as of today, 6/10/2020, still no delivery of the item purchased. Dozens of calls to customer service, several emails sent, “live chats” initiated and NOTHING. Not so much as a returned call or email. Worst place to do business with. Out $500.00 and no merchandise
This review is not against the Manchester NH location. This company changed financial institutions in September and notified their credit card users via their normal statement. No where on their website did they indicate that they were changing and that new cards and accounts were going to be issued, its the middle of November and I still have not gotten my new card. Called to get my account information and was able to get that just fine but when asked to change my name I had to do that in store. If I just proved to you that I was the account holder I think theres enough information to me able to change my last name. I will never make a purchase with Kay after this experience.
I wanted to say thank you to Joe and Jared. You both did a great job. I appreciate your patience. Im positive that my husband and I will be happy with our purchases this evening.
DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL!!! My husband ordered my ring online and it was perfect. We went for its first cleaning only to discover it had a loose diamond. So they had to send it out because they do not have an in site person. Ring came back 2 weeks later and diamond was completely gone! They had to send it back out and I had to wait another 2 weeks. My husband went to pick it up after work and when he gave it to me I knew right away it wasnt mine. Mine is two toned yellow gold 14k ring. This one was 10k pure silver ring. I was like hell no. Went right to the manager and demanded she find my ring. At first she was going to make it seem like I misindifinited my own ring but my husband and I had pictures of the ring and receipts stating it is indeed yellow gold 14k. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks while they locate my ring. This is almost 2 months now! DO NOT GO HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
Walked in with my soon to be wife after receiving a bonus check on my birthday looking to buy an engagement ring and I was asked to leave the store Im going somewhere else
I bought my fiance a ring from Kay Jewelers at the Manchester Mall in early November. The buying experience was great! The sales representative that assisted us was more than helpful but that was the last good experience we have had with Kay Jewelers. The ring we bought has lost a diamond from the band, TWICE, now in just under 6 months. My fiance is a teacher and does not do extensive work/labor with her hands that would validate losing a diamond on two separate occasions. The first time we believed this was just an unlucky situation and it wouldnt happen again, or at least not for an extended amount of time. 2 weeks after reporting the missing diamond and sending it in for a fix, we received it back. Not 2 months later, low and behold another diamond had fallen out (not the same diamond on the band). This time, my fiance went in solo and was told it was all her fault, she shouldnt wash her hands or sleep with the band on. The sales reps did not once apologize or try to make her feel better, but pushed the blame completely on my fiance. It has been 18 days now since we sent the ring in and are still waiting for the ring to come back. For a newly engaged person, this process has been less than delightful. For a ring to have lost a diamond, on two separate occasions, in less than 6 months is unacceptable. Isnt the process of buying a ring, presenting it and getting married supposed to be an exciting, memorable, loving experience? Kay Jewelers has gone out of their way to tarnish our experience thus far.The age old adage of the customer is always right does not apply with Kay Jewelers as they will put all the blame on the customer as opposed to the shoddy workmanship of the ring. I would not recommend Kay Jewelers to any of my friends, family, co-workers or anyone who inquires without the disclaimer that the customer service is less than sub-par.
Customer service is that even a thing anymore clearly not here. Kay jewelers has really gone down hill. I use to buy things all the time havent in almost a year and dont plan on it either. Bought a coach watch paid extra to have the warranty. 2 days after I bought it battery died called then took a week to get a new battery. Then a month later it stopped working and holding time. Brought it in the replaced it after I had to fight with them. Great now again the watched stopped again wont hold time and keep going backwarks. They tell me call customer service. I do then they tell me coach has a 2 year warranty so they made me buy a warranty when it already has a warranty. Now they want me to send it to coach and they will choose what to do. Really because that what I paid them to do thats what the warranty is for. Unbelievable this company. Never again will I buy stuff through them. Save your money and sanity dont shop at any Kays location.
I have been many of other KAY stores. I was not satisfied with their help. However, this store particularly helped me a lot. I should thank JOE namely for his great helps.
Let me start by saying my initial buying experience was fantastic, which may have been due to the fill-in manager Sherri. We found the perfect engagement ring for my now fiance in August 2018.Recently we had the ring sized, and when I arrived to the store at 10 AM this morning to pick it up the store was shuttered and the lights were off. At 10:10 two gentlemen arrived and stated they would be open in 5 minutes. The store finally opened at 10:15 without a word of apology from the two.I have worked retail/customer service for 16 years and opening a store late is unacceptable without a valid excuse. I manage a liquor store, selling $20 bottles of liquor, and would be fired for such an offense. These gentlemen conduct multi-thousand dollar transactions and showed a complete lack of respect for my business. I will not be returning to this location in the future.
Kays sent my husbands wedding band out to fix the prongs (loose diamond). We received the ring back and the diamond was a completely different clarity and did not match the two end diamonds clarity. We brought the ring back to Kays. The salesperson suspected whoever worked on the ring cracked the diamond during the prong repair and replaced the diamond with a diamond of lesser quality. No one ever disclosed this information upon returning the ring to us. I am extremely dissatisfied with this dishonesty, this is completely unacceptable and I have lost all faith in Kays. However, the store associate in the Manchester NH office was very knowledgeable and helped us fight for a new diamond, exceptional service on his behalf, still disappointed in Kays.
Always knowledgeable and very attentive to what Im looking for.
Milad Jaradi was fantastic, very patience and knowledgeable about the pieces Kay had. Bracelets, engagement rings, stones, name it, he knows it. He was also comfortable to talk to, no pressure nor did he make you feel stupid about asking questions. We will definitely be back to see him.
My boyfriend purchased me an open heart ring, half regular diamonds and half blue stones in October of 2013 at the Kays in the Mall of NH. I brought it back later that month to be sized to a size 6. This took them about three weeks, I got a call that it was ready, went back and picked it up. I wore it on my ring finger all day every day, through normal wear and tare that it should be able to take. Within 3 weeks the back of the ring where it had been sized broke. I returned to Kays they apologized left and right and said I would have the ring back in another 3 weeks. Again, they called after the three weeks saying i could come pick it up and I did. I wore it for another month when the back broke again. I returned to Kay’s with the ring and they said they would custom order me a new one in a size 6 they said I could keep the current one and that the custom one wouldn’t be in for two months. I couldn’t wear the one I had seeing as it was broken, so it sat in a box in my room for two months. The last week of March the custom one came in I went and picked it up and returned the old on. The first week of July I noticed I was missing three of the blue stones, I brought it back and they told me they would send it out to be fixed. They gave me a promise date of August 6th. I went to pick it up and they told me they did not have it. That they would call the main shop they sent it to and call me later that day and let me know when it should be in. As of this morning (Aug. 8th) I still had not heard from them. I called and they said it still wasn’t in and they would call the shop and then call me right back. This time they did, they said that they just found the blue stones and it wouldn’t be sent to the jewelers for them to put the stones in until Wednesday (Aug. 13). They said that it would at least another three weeks until they had it back for me. As all of this has been going on, they have had the ring more then I have, and my boyfriend has still been paying the monthly payment for the ring. I have had the worst experience with Kay’s and would not recommend there business to anyone.
A jewelry store is nice but if you have unpersonable workers it makes the experience miserable, this is NOT true for this store! Everyone I have came into contact with has been professional and put the customer first,My first engagement ring, had it for two weeks was at the mall and wanted to get it cleaned, in the cleaner one of my diamonds fell out due to the setting I would lose my new ring for a month to get fixed, or they can buy back the ring, we found a beautiful ring and the newer one was on my finger in two weeks,Around my birthday the next year my fiancé saw a ring and said we are upgrading! again they bought my diamonds and now have a carat sitting on my finger.Got married and needed a band, the ring was hard to match a band too I tried on a ton but due to a patient staff they found one and my fiancé loved it so much I got two one on the top and one on the bottom. If you have amazing staff and issues happen people are more willing to look past the issues, it wasnt their fault my diamond fell out, the sales people do not set the diamonds themselves but they went above and beyond to help the issue!I am now a frequent flyer here. They deal with my stubbornness I have never been big on flashy jewelry they help me make a decision and not just walk away.
I have no idea what happen to Kays but we were told by a salesman my wifes saphire was not real and needed other work done. We told them to give us the ring back. I took it to Bellmans where i bought it and they werr shocked.with the statement of it being not resl snd found the prongs were good. I have lost faith in Kays after many years of business. A warning to all beware of what they tell you and be careful of them sending out your stuff. Go to the best jeweler Bellmans. This place has lost all my trust and i predict it will go out of business soon.
I use to love Kays but the past 6 month it has been awful. 1) They make changes to my account without my permission changing me for stuff I didnt ask for. 2) I try and get jewelry replace that is broken that is covered under warranty that I pay extra for. They tell me they cant and try and sell me another piece. 3) Had my daughters ring sent out to be fixed took almost 2 months we get it back they resized it smaller so we had to send it back out to be sized with a promise date of June 2nd. Still havent received it as of today I called them to ask were my ring is I was promised on June 2nd they made no phone call nothing to inform me that it would be late. Now in the past I had my ring sent to be cleaned they called me the day before my promise day and told me that it was going to be a date late. COMMUNICATION thats what they lack now. I keep calling them they said 3 days ago it wasnt even touch but should be here in a couple days. Was told they were rushing it on monday and should be here definitely today called the store still not here. Why give a promise date and not for fill it I understand things and delays happen but inform the customer. I have purchased a lot of jewelry there for myself, husband, children, family and friends over the years and have spent a lot of money there. I will never buy from them again they are awful nothing but problems with them. Wish they never split the team that they had there these changes were the wrong move. Lost a couple good customer management is a joke no communication or try to make things better with the customer. I will never recommended them to anyone. If you want to a Kays go to a different one this one is awful. Horrible horrible horrible
Always pleasant to deal with.
Ive bought many pieces from Kay Jewelers as a whole. Including multiple necklaces, watches and now an engagement ring. In the last 6 months i bought a Bolivia watch of upwards $400 after a 25% coupon. The manager who sized it an beat the pin in did a bad job and while i was at work helping a customer the band broke and fell on the ground. This did not only cause embarrassment but broke the crystal on my watch. I brought it in within a month after the occurrence and they gave me attitude and put the blame on me. I then informed them i called the watch company and they told me that you do not have to beat on the pin that the jeweler would have had to put them in backwards for that to happen . They then agreed to fix the band but not the crystal, I then asked for a quote to fix the crystal. They sent the watch out and after about two weeks they called and told me it would be $244.90 to replace the crystal and if I paid this weekend minus $40. I then declined and they told me Id have my watch back within a week. after two more weeks I gave them a call and they told me that they never reported my declined request to the company and they were still waiting on the band part. After much displeasure they told me they would repair my watch for $95. I then agreed and they told me they would keep me up to date on the status its been over a month and still cant get a straight answer. I WANT MY WATCH BACK!! Makes me afraid to take my soon to be fiance ring off layaway.
Did a complete botched job on my ring repair. Ruined the ring, then lied and tried to blame it on another store location. Stay far away.
Excellent service time and again, Thanks!!!!
