They are the biggest joke and scam ever! If you want your ring to last do not ever ever ever go Jared’s or Kay’s! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Jared designed a custom setting to hold my family diamond. The entire mount (prongs and stem) fell out with the diamond a few years later. When presenting this issue to Jared, I was told there was nothing that could be done since I did not purchase the diamond through them and that the extended warranty didn’t cover this. Although the ring was brought in for inspections, I was told the mount isn’t looked and it’s only covered 6 months after initial purchase. I was told that I could trade the setting in for double value and PAY THEM the difference(was told I could get a nice pair of earrings). Jared wouldn’t even work with the insurance to pay for the damaged mount. At the end of the day, Jared didn’t take ownership of the product they created and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. I will never continue business with Jared.

I cannot even begin to explain how thankful we are to Jared in Manchester ! Kira is the best. We had so many issues with my ring, turns out it was an extremely high maintenance setting. Every single time there was an issue, it was addressed immediately. They came up with a plan to fix it at no cost to us. I cannot even begin to tell you how grateful we are to Kira and her team. Without her there would have been a disappointed bride. I will come here again and again.

My husband to be purchased my engagement ring at this location almost two years ago. The first few months my ring was in the jewelry shop more than in my finger. The repair shop had damaged my ring so bad in the process of setting the diamonds they had to order me a new ring...I have had my ring replaced three times, due to mishandling on Jared’s behalf. I will be getting married in a few weeks and wanted to have my ring cleaned and rhodium done before my wedding day. I called this location to have an extremely rude sales man explain to me it is their busy season and I would not be able to make an appointment to have my ring dropped off and available same day...I explained my situation and he repeated himself saying it would not be possible...I called another location and a nice salesperson said it would be no problem and made me an appointment to drop off and pick up my ring same day(I forgot to mention they misplaced my ring at one point and I had to come back once they figured out where it had gone) we purchased our bands at Days, had a really great experience there would highly recommend that over Jared’s any day

If I could give this store a zero I would. Grossly incompetent. Brought my rings in to be rhodium plated again, one I bought from them one I did not and made this very clear. After spending almost 45 minutes with a women who was clueless trying to look up my warranty information having my information and knowing when and where I purchased and mind you tell me I couldnt leave the store until she found it I called a women I know in a different location and over the phone she found my original receipt in 15 second.Both of my rings are engraved and I made sure she knew so they didnt remove the engravings. I even asked her to make sure it was written down on the slip. They tell me 3-5 days and theyll call when they are ready. 7 days later I stop in and they say my phone had a busy signal and then quickly backed up and asked if it was a cell phone or not. Cell phones do not get busy signals and I had no voicemail.So after a more pleasant lady helped me pick up my rings wouldnt you know the jeweler polished away the engraving on one of my rings. Disgusting. So she tells me they will re-engrave for free, well Id expect them too and it would be ready that night at 4pm. 5pm rolls around and I get the call its ready.Never again.

I had a very bad experience getting stuck with an interest that was a huge misunderstanding. Managers told me many times there was nothing they could do for me.. I wrote a letter to the headquarters and they took care of it. I am now satisfied with the way they handled it and Im happy to continue my business with them. I wished the people i spoke to were more willing to help me as they told me flat out they couldnt do anything but when I wrote a letter to corporate they handled it properly. Thank you to the Jared corporate office for doing the right thing! Makes me want to go back knowing they will do right by their customers. :)

Please dont buy anything from them if you want it to last and be able to wear it everyday. My husband bought my engagement ring from them 5 years ago and after the first three months a stone fell out. Since then at least every six months something falls out. Even with our January and July inspections. Its awful. Then we take it in to be fixed get told they will expedite the repair yeah not it takes anywhere from 9 to 15 days to repair it. Got it back this last time the repair lasted two days and another stone fell out. Brought it back in now 9 days later I still have no ring. Taking it to bellmans and getting rid of it we have had enough disappointment with jarreds.

Please do not purchase any diamonds from Jared. I received an engagement ring bought from Jared. Things didnt work out and we broke the engagement, I was to keep the ring. I tried to sell the ring to a jeweler but when they inspected the diamond laser code and what was on the certification, it was determined that they put the wrong diamond in the ring. My ex fiancée paid for a certain diamond and got a different one which was smaller and the grade quality was lower. I went to Jared with the ring and explained the situation. They were skeptical at first and blamed me that I switched the diamonds!!! After they looked at the laser print on the diamond in the ring they realized that it also came from their inventory. Basically we bought one diamond, they gave us the wrong one that was a lot cheaper. Whether this was an honest mistake, one can think that they are committing fraud, selling customers a different product. They never apologized for what happened and couldnt reimburse me for the money, they put another diamond in the ring that was as close as possible with the one I was originally supposed to get. I had to check myself the laser imprint to make sure it was the right one this time. The staff is so unprofessional and fake. They were not willing to help. It was the worst experience of my life and I feel robbed. I would not suggest this story to anyone!!!

I had an amazing experience here. Jackie (Jax) and Zachary helped my fiancé find the perfect ring. They were so easy, down to earth, and pleasant. Everyone in the store was friendly, warm, and engaging!Unlike mall retailers, you can purchase separate stones and settings, and the jewelry is GIA certified. We found something exquisite! We had a generous budget, and were not disappointed.I also want to add that this store is very relaxed, but 100 percent professional. We brought our little 5 month old baby with us, and everyone in the store was so sweet and kid friendly. They have amazing customer service, and are not stuck up like some of the competitors.We already purchased my wedding band, but we will definitely be back for his band! I’m glad we found “our jeweler”

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is very unorganized,  unprofessional,  and inexperienced.  I gave them the benefit of the doubt a few times, but NO MORE.  They told me my engagement ring and wedding band were the same size, when they werent.  I went back to have them resized. They never called me to let me know that they were ready. I had to call them. They admitted that they didnt call me, then apologized, so I thought no big deal, honest mistake.Then, I go there, and a different person tells me they DID try to call me, but my phone either kept ringing,  or my voice mail was full.  That was not true,  because I did not receive any missed calls. I called my phone from my husbands phone and my voice mail was not full. I didnt erase any messages recently either.They made the ring that I wanted looser, even more tighter, and put $80.00 sizing beads (NEVER GET SIZING BEADS) in the band. They foolishly tried to keep filing down the beads, and having me try it on again and again. I told them that I dont think they sized it correctly,  because I wanted a larger size.  They looked at the slip, apologized, said it was read wrong, and that they can have it done correctly in a few days. I told them, no thank you, and that Ill take it somewhere else.Problems like this can be simply avoided by double checking slips and putting the ring on a ring sizer stick. It would only take a few seconds to do so. It just goes to show their laziness and inconsideration for their customers.I cant believe they suckered me into paying for those awkward sizing beads. They said it would fit better because of my big knuckle,  and prevent my ring from spinning around my finger. The slips they use are very small and they scribble all over them so that it isnt legeble to read.  They rely on slips only  and do not utilize their computers to take notes. Please do not go here.Read the other reviews.  I wouldnt doubt that they are frauds, and charge you more for an item of lesser value.  If you have been here before,  have your jewelry checked somewhere else,  so you can be refunded.  Just beware that they may accuse you of switching your own jewelry or stones, when you bring it back there.

Ive had nothing but great experiences with this store.I ve bought 2 watches, and sterling silver, cuffs (mens bracelet bands) from these guys, and while they really had to work at sizing the watch bands, they got the job done perfectly. Theyre a bit more expensive, but the service is excellent. I also had them hand-make a piece of jewelry, and it was flawless. I did have to take it back as they neglected to put the engraving on the back, but they fixed that on the spot. They DO have to send watches out for battery replacement. But most Radio Shack stores will do that for just the cost of the battery. Dont bring them an Omega - that they wont do.

Totally disgusted with the service. My husband lost weight and needed his ring resized. Due to the material of the ring, it needed to be replaced. He paid $100 for the replacement on Oct 1st...its now Dec 23, no ring. He was called in November stating his ring was ready, when he got there, it was the same ring that was never sent out.......Hello !! Last week he received a call to verify that he picked up his ring....not !!! So, my question is who picked up the ring. ?? He was promised a call back on Sunday from Jackie.....didnt happen!! My fiancé had my ring custom made at this Jareds location, and all I can say is AMAZING!!! As it was told to me, he went in with a concept: to design an engagement ring based on our mutual love of a particular book (I am not a traditional woman and hes not a traditional guy). They were very patient, professional, and knowledgeable. They made it their mission (his own words) to make sure he was satisfied and apparently just as excited to create the ring for me! After several months of hard work, my beautiful engagement ring was perfected down to the most minute detail!After he popped the question (and I accepted, of course), we had to stop by to have it resized as it was just a little too big. After we were greeted and explained why we were there, they treated us like rock stars (no pun intended)!! Everyone not only congratulated us on our engagement, they were genuinely excited for us as they were just as nervous as my fiancé about the ring, as they had never had to design such an elaborate setting before (dragon design with rubies, white diamonds, black diamonds, and emeralds). Needless to say, they made us feel that we were the most important people in the store (without sacrificing time and attention to the 3 other customers who happen to also be there at the time)!The resizing was done after 3 days (I thought it would take longer) and they were all extremely helpful, professional, and personable. Fiancé and I will be returning to have our wedding bands custom designed, and we will be referring Jareds to everyone!If youre looking for a custom designed piece where the staff are wonderful and attentive, this is the place to go!!

DO NOT GO HERE! I went in because they are an authorized Omega dealer. My watch needed a new battery. I originally bought me watch at Tourneau in NYC. (I should have made the trip and went back there.) They were going to send my watch out to have the battery changed and water tested. That was fine but it was going to be gone for 6-8 weeks and I started thinking there has to be a faster way to get it back. I told them I would think about it. The guy said he was new but hired to help out with the watch department. My father was with me and looking at the Omega watches. For some reason the sales guy still had my watch and a few minutes later he comes up to the Omega counter and tell the other sales associate that he couldnt get my crown back in. My crown is BROKEN OFF at this point! And the reason they gave for this was I wear it in the shower! It is a Seamaster after all!! Now I went from a perfectly good watch that needed a new battery to new battery and a new crown! Please think twice about going here. I did not even authorize them to work on my watch and I will not be going back even to mail it to Omega, which is why I went there in the first place. If I could give negative stars I would. I know more about watches than this group! I am still not sure why the sales associate didnt give it back to me when I declined service or at least when he realized he didnt know how to work a screw in crown!

I agree with the other reviews on this store- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! The customer service is horrible- they lose your information, and take a LONG time to find it. I had a ring custom ordered and they couldnt find it in the store! I made multiple trips to the store to get my ring fixed- you shouldnt have to go to the store multiple times. They charge too much for their product if it needs to get fixed that many times. In addition, managers suggested I do one thing with my jewelry which the jeweler advised against- scary that managers are telling you the wrong thing! Shouldnt they all be telling you the same thing?? Find another jeweler for your jewelry!

Jareds has the absolute WORST quality standards imaginable. My husband and I bought our wedding rings there less than a year ago and it has been a nightmare. My wedding band cracked only a few months in, so I went in to have it repaired. The first thing they did was offer a replacement. Im sentimental. I got married with THAT ring. No, I dont want a replacement. They repaired it. It cracked again only about a month later. They suggested fusing my set together so it would be stronger. I didnt want to do that, but agreed. They did an absolutely awful job. The band was soooo thin. I pointed that out and that the whole purpose was to make it stronger. They put it back in the shop for another repair. The same thing happened 2 or 3 more times, each time it looked like they hadnt made a single improvement. I finally demanded they add extra gold to reinforce the band. They did and the band has been fine. Fast forward a couple months and my hubs and I are shopping at a different jewelry store. They offer to clean our rings. They come back saying they cant because 21 of the 57 stones in my ring are loose or improperly set. They also noticed my husbands band is cracked. And he only wears his on the weekend bc he cant have it on at work. At this point, we make the painful decision that we are done dealing with jareds. We dont want new rings from them bc we dont want to have to deal with their awful quality products and terrible customer service for the rest of our lives. We want a refund and to go somewhere else to purchase new rings. This is not a decision we take lightly but feel it is necessary after everything weve gone through in less than one year. We go to Jarreds to talk to a manager about all our issues. She says we need to speak to corporate about refunds. At the time Im writing this, that was a month ago. We still have no resolution, and in fact, havent even been able to speak with the district manager who we are told is the only person who can approve a refund. Every time I call, I get the runaround. Oh, weve left her a message, weve sent her an email, well tell her to call you. No response. Today one of the larger stones fell out. I called again. Still cant get anyone who has any authority to help me. Our one year anniversary is next weekend. We told the manager we spoke to in the store and every person since that we want to renew our vows with new rings on our anniversary bc this has been such an awful experience. There is currently no hope for that AND Im walking around with a gaping hole in my ring that looks awful. Happy anniversary to us. NEVER buy from jareds. They do not care about you or the quality of their jewelry.
