The store manager Rob was incredible. VERY helpful, insightful, and personable. He seems to be running a very well oiled machine as well due to his staff having the same personalities and always keeping the idea of customer service apparent. Sadly these days that thought is hard to come by, but if you believe in the idea of strong customer service skills along with a very welcoming atmosphere, and on top of that great prices, Mavis of Manchester is the place to go to.

I just had a new set of tires put on and an oil change done and I am so happy with the service I received. The store manager Rob is so helpful and polite. I am in town for a wedding and borrowing a family members car. Unfortunately in between rehearsal and the dinner I got a HUGE bolt in my tire. I pull over, no big deal, I can just change the tire. I am in a new vehicle after all.... After pulling everything out of the trunk I find and EMPTY spare tire compartment... cool ... call triple A . They send the worst driver ever to help. Im racing against the clock right now. Its 4:30 all tire shops in town close at 6. Long Story Short, this guy takes forever to get the car on the truck... I definitely dont make it to the tire shop.... I continue to google search, Mavis tire shop happened yo be open until 8:30 tonight! Thank You Lord Jesus. We get towed to the shop, they get us in and out with our repair in under 30 minutes. The Manager was super helpful and accommodating. Just talking to him and explaining the situation, he just spent some time talking to me and totally turned my night around and got me safely back on the road.Thank you to everyone at Mavis for your help

Love love love this place!! The workers are nice, make you laugh when in a bind. So fast. I’m and out in just minutes for my tire repair. My friend mike called ahead for me, and they got me right in and it was done so fast, cleaned up the car. 5 out of 5. Will never go anywhere else.

Customer service was phenomenal, I had dealt with 3 other shops mess up my car, or give me false prices. So I was very relieved when I was able to bring my car in with out an appointment, and have all problems fixed at a reasonable cost within 24 hours of bringing my car there. After finding out I had more work that needed to be done than I initially thought, the manager was more than helpful in working out some deals and providing me with the quickest work possible!

All the guys I met at Marrvis are amazing! So helpful and straight forward. Helped me with my car and let me know what it needed for work and took me to see the exact things it needs with my own eyes. Super helpful and kind! Definitely coming back here! They were also running a special of $39.99 all 4 tires for balancing everywhere else told me $64-$100. That’s what got me in, and short wait time!

Brought one of my cars for tires and alignment in after confirming not once but twice the appointment. They had no appointment in their alleged system. This was after waiting 20 minutes for an employee to actually show up at the counter, had to enter the shop to find someone. Was told that it needed brakes, break flush, tie rods and struts. Total bull s__t had the car for 4 hours. I was the first customer of the day. Run dont walk away from this place. I get ups

I had my car towed here to Manchester Mavis Tires and Breaks and my service was excellent. Stephen the manager got my car looked at right away and was honest and upfront with me about the work needed on my car. Unfortunately, the damage was too extensive to be serviced by Mavis, but Stephen and his staff’s honest assessment of my car made me feel reassured I knew what I was up against. Since they couldn’t take care of my car that day, they didn’t even charge me for the assessment. It’s clear these guys take both customer service and safety seriously. Highly recommend.

Mavis charged me for an alignment that was never done. My steering wheel has been at an angle when I drive straight so I figured I obviously needed an alignment and decided to buy new tires while I was at it. After getting my car back from Mavis the steering wheel was still not straight. I took Mavis’s word that they actually did the alignment that I paid for (because who would lie about that) and I took it to my local mechanic the very next day to see if there could be another issue causing this. Considering the amount of money I had just put into new tires I wanted to make sure everything was ok. He said my car was never aligned, showed me the balance report that proved it was completely out of alignment, and offered to align it for me. When I got my car back from my mechanic my steering-wheel was finally straight again, NO thanks to Mavis. When we approached Mavis for the refund they claimed it can get busy which is why they didn’t do it… so even though they never did the alignment they decided to lie and say they did.

My experience with Mavis was excellent! They were able to service my vehicle the same day that I called. My wheel alignment took about 20 minutes. I was in and out, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I am SO impressed by the work that was done to my vehicle. Isaiah and Austin both took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my car. Isaiah quoted me a great cost actually the best than Ive seen around here. Timing was perfect, didnt take much long at all for the work to be done. 10/10 recommend this shop to everyone I know. Fantastic work.

I brought my car here knowing I had some issues that another mechanic had told me about. What I didnt know is everything else that ended up being wrong with my 07 Murano, Austin was so honest about everything that was wrong with my vehicle that no one else had told me about. I got my brakes, rotors, both outer tie rod ends and an alignment done for a reasonable price and they did everything in just a few hours! I will be a repeat customer from here on out and highly recommend. All of the guys there are very nice and honest. Brakes are also lifetime warranty!

Went in for a tire repair and they sent the lift through the side of my car, this happened in april and every week they tell me they sent out the check for the repairs. Its August now and they told me to wait one more week . Every week the same thing, still no check . Customer service was extremely rude and even hung up on me multiple times now . All I want is my money so I can bring my car to the body shop.

We purchased 4 brand new tires for my Volkswagen Tiguan from Mavis. I dropped it off today to get the tires installed. Picked the car up, drove up the road and noticed something wrong. Upon pulling over, and checking the Driver’s-side tire…We were able to shake the entire tire by hand with it on the pavement and all 5 lug nuts were loose and we were able to unscrew the lug nuts by hand!! If I would have driven further, the entire wheel would have come off! Very dangerous!!! We will NEVER come back to Mavis!Of course they are closed tomorrow for Memorial Day but expect a call from us Tuesday!

Great service good prices very accomadating

I had trouble with my brakes late Saturday afternoon and the folks at Mavis went way out of their way to help me out after other locations refused. They fixed my problem so I could make the 50+ mile drive home. I was well taken care of by the manager and his crew! I highly recommend them.

Some of the most genuine people I know, I called all over Manchester looking to get my tires and tie rods put in my car and nobody could help me because it’s a BMW. Isaiah and Stephen were so helpful and they definitely have the best prices!

Stephen and Isaiah have excellent customer service, Rudy and David were very fast and quick doing my tires. I was in and out within an hour and a half. Highly reccomend mavis tire.

Steven and issah were very accomodating to help me and I appreciated their attention to all my issues. I had to go back several times, and they kept trying to satisfy me with my issue and I appreciate their commitment to resolve my car problems.

I am so disappointed in my recent 5 day odyssey dealing with this location and the terrible customer service provided by store manager Corey. I took my truck in for tires and brakes Thur 3/11/21. When I left $1300 lighter and got on highway my truck shimmied like crazy so I called the store from the road. They said it must just need a re-balance - however, they were booked Fri and could not get me in until 3pm Sat so I had to wait til then to bring it back. Even though I had a 3pm appointment, I was kept waiting for two hours until they looked at my car - rebalanced the tires and I left. I got back on the highway and immediately knew there was no improvement to the shimmy at all but by this time the store was closed. I called back Sunday and they suggested I take the car back in Monday. At that time I was told “I” had purchased the wrong tires for my truck but they could put the correct ones on but I would be charged additional for the tires AND for the labor to install these since I had agreed to the Mavis managers recommended tires on Thursday. WHAT????? I told Corey charging me for another install was not right since Mavis recommended these tires to me. He told me I could have picked something else on my own accord - but I told him that is why I came to Mavis - for their expert recommendation. He also questioned why my parents sent me to buy tires on my own (probably because I know more about cars than they do plus it is my truck!) which was an incredibly insensitive and rude comment - especially since my parents had been bringing their cars to NTB (MAVIS bought them out) for the last 15 years and always listened to NTB’s recommendations with great success which is why they suggested I take my truck here this week. I paid the additional $300 charge and went out to my car - only to find it parked by a MAVIS employee up against a curb and run into a snow stake that was now cracked in ½ under my bumper! Also, did I mention at no time - during all three visits did any employee wear a mask - even the store manager who interacted with multiple customers (most of whom wore masks!). Not my parents NTB at all - and now none of us will be going back - buyer beware if you decide to go!

They only do tires they cant do anything else Dont waste your time unless you need tires

I had purchased my tires from NTB for my 2012 Tundra. I had a nail in one of my tires and was due for a rotation. I called on Saturday to be told they were booked out for the day, (understandable) but they could get me in first thing Sunday morning. This was fine by me. They also called me back later to confirm that I would be there a 9am as planned and I assured them I would. I arrived at 8:45am and waited for them to open. When I checked in they told me someone had called in sick and they could not get to me for 2 hours. So I left and still have the nail in my tire. I am not sure if this is the same staff as when it was NTB, but I tried to get my tires rotated another time with no success. I would not recommend this location until they get a better management team. I also do not know if Mavis Tire honors any work done while they were NTB.

I’m not one to write reviews.. so if I’m writing a review it’s going to be good.. I hit a rock and had to have new tire, cv axle, lower ball joint replaced.. they were very helpful drove me to the rental car place to pick up rental. Everything turned out good mechanically and the car still drives smooth👍🏻👍🏻

Called late Friday afternoon to see if they could fix my tire that was leaking air.With no problem at all, they were able to fit me in last minute and make me feel like a valued customer !!Very highly recommend!!!!

I was on my way home from visiting New Hampshire and my car broke down on the highway with my family and pets. Long story short, rented a car to get the family home and had to stay for the over night. Rob was referred to be my a local resident and when I got ahold of him that evening he told me that he would help me out first thing in the morning. Brought over my car and they gave me a fair price to have it fixed. Mike did the work on my car and found a couple of other issues that I had that I did not know about. Mike did an excellent job and Rob gave me my final bill which was lower then he had quoted. Kathy in the front kept me calm (lol) and informed as to what was happening with my car. They got the job done as they said they wouldve, quick so I could get back home to my family. Thank you Mike, Rob and Kathy for all that you did for me! I appreciate it!

I have dealt with this location in the past and Joe the old Manager was amazing! Well this past Saturday my experience was so awful I will never go again and will not refer anyone. Dan was very unprofessional, would cut people off when talking, customer or Kathy and spoke to Kathy the front desk person in a degrading, unprofessional manner. I waited 4 hours for 4 tires and seen the most unsettling behavior I have encountered in a while from Dan. Not to mention the insinuation that I was not telling the truth when I stated the customer service rep gave me an additional $20 off because I stated I needed the tires before Saturday due to travel plans where she convinced me to wait. So I waited until Saturday, to wait 4 hours and encounter the most unprofessional behavior I have seen or even been subjected to in forever. Kathy was amazing but sadly, I will not do business here again.

I went to get my spare tire replaced, the price was very very reasonable, And as a young female who knows nothing about cars, I thought they’d try to finesse me like other auto shops but they were very up front and honest and kind. Kathy was very sweet and informative, the atmosphere here is very genuine, I definitely recommend!!

My friend was overcharged for unnecessary services and parts at this location. She went to have her brake pads replaced and got $80 brake pads, $75 to install. An unnecessary $80 brake fluid flush and Two $85 rotors totaling $200 installed. The total was $391 with a $50 coupon. So she got her front brakes and rotors replaced for $445. The brake pads online are $20 and the rotors are $80.

I had a screw in one of my tires late on a Friday afternoon. I didnt have an appt I just showed. They were more then willing to help me and were very thorough and I thought the cost was very reasonable.

Robert was AMAZING! We were driving back to CT when we got a flat tire on the side of the highway. They got us in and replaced our tire within 30 minutes! Robert was so helpful and kind to us, highly recommend!

Stopped in, without an appointment, to have some tires mounted and balanced and had some request on swapping tires on the vehicle to different positions (directional tread and staggered sizes front and rear). The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure that all my request were taken care of, and assisted shop techs where needed. Understood that my wheels were reverse offset and made sure they were treated as such without any damage to the wheel. The shop techs were very fast and efficient, taking less time out of my day. My truck has never driven smoother, perfectly balanced all around. Will definitely be back for any service they can provide in the future.

Theyre great, and Id recommend NTB for all tire and suspension needs. Their staff is friendly and professional. A couple of the older guys in the shop are slower than some people like, but their work is flawless.

Phenomenal group of guys. Hard working, knowledgeable and honest. I would recommend them to everyone. I was in a jam on Veterans Day and Joe helped me out. Right front tire problems. I thought I was going to have to get a full set of tires because my truck is AWD. Joe took a look and said no problem, no need for the tires. I got out of there in a little while for a total of $21 and my problem solved!!! Place was absolutely jammed, but Joe got me in and got me out at a fraction of what I thought I would have to spend. This is now my go-to shop!!

Dan is the reason I come to this location, his automotive knowledge and kind demenor is why Ive followed him shop to shop for years, he informs me of what my car needs but doesnt put high pressure on me to do it now

Quick service when i took my snow tires off. However i did not appreciate the attitude from the technician when i came to pick up my car. Gave me lol about only putting two snow tires on instead of all 4. Which really isnt necessary. Only needed the two for traction to get up my hill.

Dropped by for an oil change today. I Got a chance to talk to the manager Walter and some guys from the shop Marc, Eric, and Tim. Bunch of great guys. They looked over my truck for me while it was there and all is good. It’s a great feeling having a place you can go with your vehicle and just toss them your keys and know they are going to take care of you. Thank you guys.

Just left there an hour ago, got there about an hour and a half before closing time on the eve of the first major snow storm of the year which in New England means tire shops are slammed. I had a rotted valve stem in one of my tires and asked if there was any way they could take a look though I offered him the out realizing how busy they would be on a night like this saying I understood if he couldn’t but I drive a lot for my job and if he could I needed it fixed. He set the expectations that he could get it done before 8 when they close but he could do it. I was out only thirty minutes later . I can appreciate the volume of work him and his team were doing that day and I’m sure were in a rush to finish before closing and he still took the time to help a walk in like myself. I can not say how much I appreciate a devotion to customer service such as this. In my job I’m an account manager and customer service for my accounts is key and to see some one who didn’t have to go that above and beyond but do it anyway fantastic and I will be recommending them at any chance I get they deserve the credit and your business.

I bought 4 new tires this year for my Audi and had to go back today because I had a nail in the tire. They had to replace it because of where it was but that was no stress to me because I took the warranty . Last time the place looked like a storm hit it this time it was like a new place. I said to the kind manager ( not knowing he was the manager ), did you guys get a new manager he waved and said thats me...I said good job cleaning this place up from last time I was here and the bathroom not only was clean but it smelled good . He said thank you and was very quick at getting me in and out. Good job !

I brought my 2009 Hyundai Sonata here to get inspected and they denied my inspection because they claimed I needed tie rods. So I brought my car home and had my neighbor order the parts for my car who is a mechanic at the actual Hyundai dealership. When the parts came in and he was going to install them it turns out that I didnt even need tie rods, mine were in perfect shape. Thank god I was able to return the parts and get my money back. Later, I took my car to another place to get inspected and GUESS WHAT? it passed. Complete bs from this place thinking that they can scam young women. My family and I will never go back.

Ive been here twice for tires in the last few months. They usually have the best deals on tires in the region, and so far I have received excellent service here.

Absolutely no help when stranded in front of their shop with a flat. I took the tire off myself and drove up to town fair and they had me back on the road in minutes.

Have been going to NTB on S. Willow Street in Manchester NH since the 90s. I have NEVER been disappointed with their products or service. Always done in a timely manner and very courteous.

This place is a rip-off. I took my vehicle in for inspection 12/28/12 around 11am. They had it up on the lift and the left side tires off by 11:10. A couple mechanics walked around it with their flashlights for a few minutes and that was the last time anyone was near it again until 11:50.During this time there were three mechanics in the bay area. One was at his toolbox reading a magazine, another was walking around in the bay smoking a cigarette looking at the ground, and the other was at the bay door talking with his friend I’m assuming.At 11:55 the service advisor said he wanted to show me something. He informed me my rotors need to be replaced. I informed him they were just miced out and they checked good. He came back saying that it’s because the rust line on top of the rotor.I asked what it would cost to repair and he showed me an estimate for a little over $1,000.00.I told him that was a little too much and I’ll take care of it myself. He came back saying he could help me out a little on the price. He said he could do it for $500.00 but this is a one-time deal.After hearing this, I told him I’ll take care of it myself, just take it off the lift.This place is a joke,Steve K.

Joe was completely unprofessional and lied to my face. So I left and went to tire warehouse 1 mom down the road and plugged my tire for me and didn’t try charging me for a new tire. NTB has been nothing but issues every time I have gone there. They always lie and say you need a tire. When he said that to me this time I said ok juts do it . Then says do you want 1 or 2 tires . He recommended two while he was staring at the monitor. I said just one . Joe then responds sorry only can do two. Tire warehouse was great they Assess the situation and charge me 20 bucks to plug the tire.

I had an issue with a tire losing air. They able to take the car in and find the problem. They fix the problem and I was able to be back on the road.

I shopped around Concord and Manchester for tires. NTB had the best deal on 50k mile tires for my Camry. I talked with the mechanic and he was knowledgeable, I also had an alignment done. Id go back if I needed tires again.

Web site allowed booking of an appointment that could not be accommodated. Wasted time travel etc. they get a star for offering to get it in today but it would have meant sitting around for 4 hours waiting. We’ll see how they do tomorrow.Update: once the appointment was rescheduled the service was done quickly.

Took care of our new snow tire purchase with exceptional customer service. We thought we needed tires rebalanced and they took us in and checked and redone the balance since a weight fell off and warrinteed the rebalance.

Great place and the people that work here are absolutely amazing! I work on my own vehicles as much as I can but I came in tonight with an issue that I couldnt figure out. Even though they were very busy (and I didnt have an appointment) they offered to take a look at it and spent time asking questions so they fully understood the issue. Once they figured out the problem they explained it to me so I knew what I had missed and got everything straightened out quickly. They were very professional and treated my kids and I with the utmost respect. I cannot say enough about how great the staff is here. I would reccomend this place to anyone and would personnaly come back here in a heartbeat to get work done.

Every other tire place quotes me 80.00 for each tire. I needed 2 tires, and 3 other facilities have told me that my tire tread was good for atleast another 15-20k before needing to consider tire replacement, however, because I pulled in to the place at 7:15pm 45 minutes before they close, the associate was rude, told me he wasnt replacing only 2, hell only replace 4, then quoted me 189.00 a tire not including install with not even a single dollar in savings if i were to replace all four, so okay I was fine with that, business is business, then i informed him that i needed to talk it over with my spouse who was in the vehicle waiting, and the guy says you need to hurry in a very rude, gruff almost aggressive tone. thats when i went out and told my spouse we are NEVER to spend a cent at any NTBs in the US. i will walk and retire my vehicle before giving my hard earned American dollar to customer service such as this. if i could give negative stars I WOULD. I am so disappointed with the customer employee relationships i am see so very often. nothing like the eighties and nineties... DONT GO HERE....

Terrible pushy service. Wish i had never went there. Got 2 tires took 2 hours and when they did the alignment i said i dont have money to pay for that the guy said well how much money do you have. Extremely uncomfortable after the long speech about getting tire insurance so that when my tires get slashed i can get new ones. I got the feeling if i didnt pay he was going to come to my house and slash them himself just because. Tires were neither the orignal width or height of my normal tires. Had to find matching sizes later at another place so i could even rotate. The tires were so much bigger looked like i had a lift kit for the rear of my truck. No help or explanation the next day from them after i realized this. Also saw them run up an old couples bill over $700 saying their tie rods looked bad when they had set it up on the alignment machine. Maybe the needed it but seemed very predatory to me.

Called Saturday saying I had a problem with my tire and asked if I needed an appointment for Sunday was told no if I was early.Sunday I waited for shop to open, did so a few minutes late, I was the second in line. I explained I had a screw in my tire, they said they could look at it but their schedule was full until 3PM. Really, then why say that no appointment is needed?At least they were decent enough to refer us to Pep Boys. My advice make an appointment or drive on by.Update: At Pep Boys I was in and out in a half hour. Got there at 9 am didnt leave til close.went in to have tires balanced and aligned I was driving to Sturgis that night.They goudged 1 of my rims.said my truck was alset got on the highway and had to fight to keep my truck on the road.Was there all day even bought them all lunch and when I left there truck still wasnt rite.Dont go here for anything.
