Been coming here for years to upgrade my phone(s). Always quick and great service. Always super friendly. Today was the first day I ever had to go because I was having a problem and I was worried I would get sent away/told to go somewhere else (Apple Store), but Andrew was super helpful and took care of everything I needed. Thanks again, folks! 10/10 recommend.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star. I upgraded my phone/service plan over the phone with Verizon. This store was chosen for the pick up and set up of my new phone and drop off my trade in.The customer service rep, Marcuse, was rude from the start of our conversation. I asked for confirmation of the service plan discounts that did not show on the order or on my online account that I have access to. I asked if he could send me a copy, or if I could take a pic of his screen for my records since he had access to the full order. His reply was “we don’t do that” with a defiant tone. I asked how can I confirm the full order and got the same response “we don’t do that here”.While ordering the new service over the phone the CS rep asked me what color as the store had red and black in stock. I wasn’t sure about the red but ordered it anyway as I was assured I could trade it for the black one if the red wasn’t acceptable. Well, the red looked pink and I advised Marcuse I would like the black one instead. At that point Marcuse informed me I would be charged $50 for a return fee even though I did not activate the phone yet. At that point I decided to walk away as I knew engaging with Marcuse would be futile with his defiant attitude.I returned home and called Verizon customer service. I was informed that there is no restocking/return fee since the phone wasn’t activated. My order was canceled and I will go to an independent Verizon store to complete my order.Marcuse should not be in the customer service industry. He is abrupt, rude and lacks any hint of compassion or understanding.

Went here on 9 MAY to get a new phone for an elderly parent. It was important to port over the phone number from their antiquated flip phone on a pay-as-you-go service provider to Verizon.Charlie, who works at this location, performed miracles. He ported over the number, made the phone/case selection a quick process, and even applied a tempered glass screen protector (without air bubbles) on a phone in an Otterbox Defender case. Sounds easy, but its not.He even provided a quick demo of basic phone functionality and navigation. Moments like this are why I would urge anyone to go to a Verizon store proper rather than an authorized reseller for the expertise and flawless execution.Thanks again, Charlie. 5/5, would buy from you again.

Walked in at 7:40, set there until 758 just to have a representative come up and tell me that they locked the safe, and couldn’t sell me a phone. The other Employee asked her did she need any phones and walked in the back... ( to lock it) without asking me what I needed before she did it! Just lazy! Clearly if I was in there before the store closed I should have been help instead of them rushing to get out of there!!!

Had a wonderful experience until I arrived home, only to find that Verizon informed my wife and daughter via text that their old phone service was being switched over to Verizon. Normally, that would not be a problem, except that both phones were Christmas presents!!! BTW, as of this writing, I have been on hold with the store for over 13 minutes!
Im really disappointed. I had dropped my phone out of my purse a couple of a weeks ago and since then, my phone has started to lose its charging capabilities. It finally stopped charging all together and I just made plans to go to the store before work and get a new phone. Since Im on a family plan, they needed to send a text link to the head of the account, who wasnt with me. The associate was just rude from the bat. Disinterested. No customer service whatsoever. I originally couldnt get a hold of the head of the account and told him Id come back in the store when I could, because I didnt want to take up time waiting around. When I did and went back in the store, I was on the phone and talking to the associate at the same time, trying to get this to work out so I could get a new phone. The associate was rude. Just flat out, no reason rude. I tried to go in being as nice as possible because I also work in customer service and I understand what its like having customers take out their anger on you. The associate sat their shaking his head while I was trying to talk on the phone to resolve everything so we could continue with the purchase, obviously annoyed. He had an attitude while I was trying to talk it out, and I just said never mind. I left. We never got a text he said he sent and I wasnt going to sit there and deal with a rude associate that could care less and that is making this already frustrating situation more frustrating. I get we all have bad days, but this was just ridiculous. Usually Im not a fan of going in the store because all the aggressive up-selling, but this guy was just flat out rude. Im going to try a different store tomorrow, where I dont have to deal with something like this.

We have been Verizon customers since the early/mid-90s in VA Beach, and then in NOVA. Until yesterdays visit (with appt) to this store, weve always experienced wonderful service. I purchased a new IPhone 11 and specifically chose this store which offered In-store customer service. This was important to me as Ive been an Android user for over 20 yrs and wanted some personalized service. Instead I was treated like I was in line for a Big Mac - handed my phone, the receipt, and when I asked when I could go inside the employee stated that we dont do that here. I was obviously irritated and he seemed to care less. The next day (today) I visited a Russell-cellular Verizon store on Linton Hall Rd, Gainesville. The Manager there spent an hour walking through my new phone, all the while following CV19 protocol. Heres the difference: the corporate store on Sudley Rd has ZERO incentive to attract/retain new customers. They will tell you they have to follow enhanced protocols, etc. as they are corporate (i assume this at least). The store in Gainesville, operating under something called the Free Enterprise system, is making new customers daily by serving the customers that seek assistance. Funny what a motivator the profit motive is! Verizon, PAY ATTENTION to this.
A worker there was exchanging my phone and was throwing it around and caused the bottom of the phone to be scratched up. I had told him I recently got the phone and asked about the Apple Music my upgrade came with and asked him to help me figure it out and he said “no you have to call tech support”. Then when he was putting my screen protector on I asked him to get all the bubbles and he said “ why don’t you just get a new one and do it your self if your going to be so picky. I have never felt so unwanted and disrespected in my entire life. I recommend going a place where they will treat customers well.

Clean. Organized. Sales people are not pushy. Willing to work with customers. Brought my mom in for an upgrade she gets overwhelmed with technology and we decided to order an older model new online as recommend per the salesman to fit our needs instead of getting the latest and greatest.
Past experiences buying a new phone (at other Verizon locations) have been frustrating, so I was extremely pleased by the service at the Manassas store! Im used to allowing at least an hour in the store, but I was in and out in 20 minutes. Kevin did a great job of making sure I knew all my options without being pushy, and I really appreciated that he was respectful of my choice to not buy all of my accessories in the store. He was very clear about the changes I would see on my next bill. Overall, it was by far my best experience in almost 10 years with Verizon.

My mother lost her phone in Costco. She spent over an hour on the phone with me trying to speak with a live person about her options to lock her lost phone and/or get a new phone. To no avail, we decided to make the short drive to the Veriozn store thinking they could better explain the process and walk her through the process. She had to go in alone, as only one customer was allowed inside at a time. She came back roughly 10min later in tears, they gave her a confirmation number and an email link for her to submit an affidavit to insurance and get the process started of sending her a new phone. My mother is 74 years old, she isnt capable of downloading and then re uploading all these papers. I then tried to help her and the PDF wouldnt download. So I proceeded to go back and get help . Only to be greeted with well we dont handle insurance claims. Ok, I understand that this may not exactly be in their job description. BUT shes SEVENTY FOUR....she needed clear cut instructions and help. Or at least a number to customer service and someone who could help walk her through this process. She left very upset and feeling brushed off. That is never ok. If they dont have the ability to help her, they shouldve at least given her the resources to someone who can and will.

I just spent not more than 5 minutes taking care of a transaction that I fully expected to be complicated and time consuming. The agents were very efficient and knew exactly what needed to be done. I’m impressed. Well done Verizon Wireless.

Came in to get a new line of service. 1st visit. Jesus was the initial person who assisted me. Nice guy, great attention to the customer...well after going through all the steps I couldnt get the Verizon Edge plan only the 2-yr agreement so I had to come back considering the phone I wanted was more than I was ready to pay that day. Jesus gave me an application number and said its good for 10 days so we didnt have to run my credit again. 2nd visit...It was busy, I asked how long the wait was going to be and was told oh, there are only 3 folks in front of you, maybe 10 minutes, well we waited over 50 minutes! Customers were given full attention from the reps taking well over 45 minutes on a few...I was assisted by Jim (who had to go to the manager (Paul) for everything so I was basically assisted by Paul. Finally got the phone and thought it was setup by Jim. His customer service level dropped as the minutes went past closing time. We were finally able to leave 1 hr. 22 minutes later. I left thinking all was well until I realized my phone wasnt completely setup! 3rd visit...angry customer this time, Ashley and Maria helped me, fixed the problems, explained what happened and I was on my way. If this was the service I had received at time of purchase I would have given them a better rating, but because my actual purchase and setup process was horrible, they are getting this rating. I would recommend getting there when they first open to perhaps avoid an hour long visit!
Stopped in to have my husbands phone checked out and discovered Eric, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. When we return to update our phones and service, we will arrange to work with him. He was super. Although there is usually a wait here, as with any such store, we were lucky to get help quickly on a Sunday afternoon. They have a nice display of phones to choose from, as well as security systems and accessories.

First time this has happened....someone actually asked if I needed help... usually standing around, in line, out of line, no one approaches to find out if help is needed. Also, the person that helped was very helpful and friendly. Seemed to know how to help and didnt wait for someone else to come and give the help.
These stores arent what they used to be. There used to be more of a selection and Verizon used to take care of their customers. Now, phones are outrageously priced and no deals for a long time customer, unless you open a new phone line. Lastly, unless youre looking for an iPhone, Samsung 10 or a pixel, theres no other options... not even accessories.
What a waste of time going to this store. I placed an order online to buy two iPhones. The sales person talked me in going to the store to PU order. Got there to be told the order is still pending and can take up to 2 hours. Left and came back and was told the same. Waited around for about 15 minutes. Went to inquire about the status and the rep acted like I was bothering him. I asked to have the devices shipped instead and he said they cannot do that. I went home and cancelled my order. Had the rep checked, he should have realized that terms and conditions needed acceptance. I have dealt with Verizon for nearly 17 years as a consumer and corporate client and never seen such poor service from them. Hopefully this is not a sign of the state of the company, I am now looking into other carriers to get my phones.

They are lying about curbside pickup. I just called and was on hold to talk to someone for 9 minutes and the lady that connected said there is no curbside you have to go into the store to pickup your order

They sure work hard not to gain your business. After some brief investigation they are at least $100 more expensive than the equipment manufacturer. To add insult to the situation the salesman I worked with was dedicated to not even being helpful, the football game was more important than the customer.I will have to check worst buy and Wally world as too I am sure I will receive the same treatment. Sad but true

Visited this store because we were told we must go to a corporate store to close out our internet service. When we arrived we got a total run-around. Obviously we weren’t there to buy, so no one cared. Was given an 800 number to call. Highly recommend Consumer Cellular. It’s not only for older people. Good plans as long as you don’t want unlimited data and GREAT service. They actually care. Good prices too.
Black Friday experience. They were extremely busy. I did not get signed in when I walked in, but they were well staffed and moved quickly. Rep helped me and got me in and out the store.

Great location, good selection of products, bad costumer service. If you walk into this store with little to no knowledge at all about what you want, might as well just turn around and go home because they will rip you off to get their commission out of you. I worked in retail before and I understand the logic behind keeping your job in this type of environment, but they just simple dont give two flying F@#%$ about costumer experience. They thrive on costumers ignorance. I have friends that used to work in this location and got fired simply because they were educating their costumers. Now tell me how messed up is that ???

Great place to get phone looked at but my time in was longer than normal.no one to greet at the door like it had been in the past. Not even a sign in board just stand at front door waiting and waiting.....
Was hoping for more energetic showing of tablets. I was comparing ipad pro and samsung S6... no samsung to show, no demo and little knowledge of mac ipad, even though that was clearly what they tried to push.
Eric was unbelievable! He understood all the products and thier features. He could easily speak to how several phones I was considering would meet my expectations. He had advice that was meaningful for how our family uses our phones and devices. His recommendations were spot on! I really appreciated his insight and felt like he was an advocate for me, not a heavy handed salesman that wanted to only sell x product. That means a lot to me and the reason I alsways return to this specific store.THANKS ERIC!!!

Verizon is very expensive and they abide by rules that are their policy, but when the situation is explained, the action was clearly wrong and the consequences are not able to be undone.Left them as a provider and made sure I spelled out to the new provider my common sense clause. They agreed to abide by it.Verizon told me they would be happy to buy back my unused phone, but yet they were unable to help with unlocking it??? Their follow through with anything is horrible!!!

I switched from iPhone to Samsung yesterday and lost all of my photos, contacts, notes, etc. Thank God for the most AMAZING representative at VERIZON in Manassas Virginia! She took the time to reactivate (I think) an iPhone device and recovered all that was lost! I cant believe how much time and effort she spent helping me. You just dont receive such world class service anywhere anymore. Thank you H. Shelly! YOU TOTALLY ROCK!

The employees at this store are not good with following through. After a headache to replace a smartwatch that I purchased because it broke 24 hour later, I was told one would be shipped and delivered to the store by noon and that someone would call me. Needless to say, noon cam and went with no call. I had to call them only for no one to really care that they failed to follow through. Customer service training is needed at this location! I will not use this store again for anything! If I could rate negative stars, I would.

If I could give no stars, I would. This is the 2nd time I went into the store and the second time they wouldnt help me or do what Verizon said they would do when I called. They are the closest corporate store but I will definitely drive extra to never go there again. First time, no customers and agents were busy talking amongst themselves. Acted like I was a burden to help. 2nd time I was told I can turn in my phone I traded and they said I can not. Do not go here if at all possible.

My first impression when I entered the location was loud music. 2 older gentlemen helped me while the young guys talked amongst themselves. One in particular sat in a chair at the front counter. When a senior citizen came in with his iPhone, he was very clear that when he receives a call the screen turns off. The rep in the chair, who was leaning back as on the beach, told him to remove the case. Customer service 101: ask if you can remove the case & then call his iPhone to recreate the issue. The customer left stating that he didnt help him at all. I observed this while holding on the phone for Microsoft.

Wow, came in to return my device, as per advice of a Verizon Rep over the phone.3 people were hanging out at the door with sign-in devices, as soon as they knew i was not buying or getting anything, they lost interest in me and told me they dont receive returned devices there...Stood for 30mn and nobody helped. The 3 people kept chatting at the door...The gentleman with a tattoo finally approached me and told me they dont receive devices there as well. I insisted the Rep asked me to do it, and he finally talked to the Manager; who in return, just printed the label and asked me to go to the fedex store. The Rep swore they should have kept the device and just sent it to their headquarter. So really--looks like they just didnt want to waste their time on returns....
