Buyer beware - they are selling refurbished products reupholstered in-house with inferior materials as ‘open box’. I barely caught this in time and was given a full refund but it is not acceptable to distort industry-standard definitions to the store’s advantage and to the buyer’s peril. Would have rated 1 star if my refund was not 100%. Their official policy is to keep 5% and another $50 if the item ships before you return/cancel.
My son has received a few adaptive items from them. Rose has always been very responsive with getting the equipment set up and followup questions and adjustments.
My wheelchair has been broken and fixed by them many times over the last 6 months or so because of the same overall issue. Its been fixed by them many times only to break again eventually. Each time its been fixed has also included wait times of two weeks or moreThe staff is great but they simply dont have enough of them to make repairs as quickly as needed
I think the majority of the negative reviews are because of people not understanding their own insurance, not communicating clearly, and having unrealistic expectations. I have used them for a few years. I occasionally have to call more than once, however they have always followed through.
We really wish a person could give them a zero rating. We had someone look at our sons wheelchair in October, 2019 and we were told we needed new arm rests. After not receiving the arm rest, I called to check the status only to find out they were never ordered. While talking to the receiptionist i told her we needed new brakes as well because we have to tighten them at least once a week. She made an appointment for us to drive into their office in December, 2019 (1/2 hour drive). The technician looks the chair over and brings it back into the room telling us he will be ordering arm rest, brakes and a new back to the chair (since it was ripped a week after he started using the chair 1 year ago). Now we wait another 6-8 weeks for parts. Maybe a call to our insurance company for overbilling is in order!
Very poor customer service. When I arrived on time there was as no warm greeting, there was no greeting at all. Very poor communication. No phone call about not having parts before an appointment. No phone call about delays after going well past estimated time of completion. Total lack of compassion and understanding for what their jobs and services truly are and their responsibility to the people that are counting on them. Wake up, this is not a chair, my 8 year old son depends on this equipment for his independent mobility. The one star I gave in the ratings was for simply existing and being the one place in Madison available to us for our needs.
Isnt selling wheelchairs how they make a living? I cant get anyone to return a phonecall. My life is on hold because they sent paperwork to me instead of the HMO. The guy who came to measure me was a kind and caring soul. Í can only imagine that their internal office is run by a tyrannical monster and people hate their jobs and take it out on the customer.
Incompetent and selling inferior products! John Petter has no clue he is doing!
Very slow on call backs, and doesnt know the real way to get things done to get a wheelchair.WOULDNT GIVE ME ANSWERS ON I PAY MY 20%.BUT I WILL BE BACK WHEN I REALLY GET MY BOTH WHEELCHAIRS.
