This is a perfect old time neighborhood grocery store. And its a co-op, it has the perfect mix of mainstream and hippie groceries. Good produce, beer on tap, and a good frozen food section. Id like a more comprehensive meat department; what they have is good but more variety would be nice. Fresh seafood would be nice also, but its a ground business so hopefully theyll expand into that. Nice to have an alternative to Willy St.

Its the best place to buy organic meats. Some of the staff are fine but some are not. One guy who works at the meat counter a lot acts like Im bothering him when I want to buy something. One cashier gave me a hard time about my chip card not working and said I was wasting other peoples time as if my time does not also have value. I still go there because they have good prices for quality meats and I like supporting a small coop. Lose the attitudes and I would enjoy shopping there a lot more and spend hundreds more per year.

My 1st recommendation to anyone who moves into the neighborhood is to go down to Regent Market Co-Op and buy a lifetime membership. A great convenience to all who live in the neighborhood. A great selection of produce (often locally grown), a full meat counter, beer on tap with a walk-in beer cooler, ice cream by the scoop, and a diverse selection of groceries. The staff is excellent and they all work hard to provide the service you would expect from a friendly neighborhood co-op.

The Co-op, as locals refer to it, is a charming neighborhood market with lots of character. It has a good variety of ingredients that are all organic and humanly harvested. The Co-op has a great beer selection and even an ice cream booth, making it a perfect destination to bring the kids on a hot summer night. However, expect to pay almost twice as much as you would pay at a supermarket. All in all, the Co-op is a great store.

Great grocery store. Prepared food selection is great. Cheese selection is good. Great stop on the way to the campground.

Pricier (for non-members) but a very extensive beer selection. I was seriously impressed with the quality of beers they had for sale considering the size of the store. The staff were friendly and there appeared to be a good selection of food, though I was only there for New Glarus beer (this Illinois boy needed to stock up).

We went there for the first time on Christmas day because they were open on...Christmas day. Always wanted to stop in and never had the reason before. A very nice store with Chocolate Shoppe ice cream! The fellow checking us out was even able to find a package of oven bags in the back for me--great, cheerful service! What a great neighborhood market!

Heard good things about this place and was excited to go. I bought orange juice that was expired, tried to call store to let them know and was hung up on twice... really????
