A good place to get russian grocery
We only had a 2 week time table in Madison and ran out of the only German coffee our household will drink (not coffee snobs, just too old to handle the amount of acid that comes off the bucks and stump). The store did not carry it but the owner went above and beyond. She ordered it for us and gave me a courtesy call when it was in AND thoughtfully ordered the amount to maximize freshness. They charged me a decent price and didnt gouge me on it even though she could have. The store is very clean, organized and smells delightful with lots of treasures everywhere. Theres a very large selection of pierogi, teas, candy and coffees just to name a few. We even found a new favorite candy. Its a hidden treasure with a non typical strip mall and entrance.
Very small shop but the selection and prices seem very reasonable.
A rare place in Russian & E.European foods. Awesome
Such a good store. So friendly people are working there! Amazing food and souvenirs!
The store is in Madison. I live three hours away from the store, however shopping here worth it. Very small place but you can easily find different types of Russian sweets, dairy products, seasonings, soft drinks and many more. Some people rated the service very poor, however my experience was great. The owner helped to find necessary items I needed. He was friendly. Thank you.
European (not only Russians) sweets and deli. Great place to get Russian souvenirs and books. Fast checkout. Staff is polite and always ready to help. Great experience.
Very quaint specialty grocery with nice selection of Russian and Eastern European goods. Love the dumplings! Also, the owners always hand out lollipops to kids.
Nice selection of Russian and Euro items.
Great place to get russian and eastern europe food
Lots of cool stuff
Love it. Drove an hour to get there last week and should have stocked up more. Going back next week for halva, pelmeni, and Zefir.
I really like this nice little store. They have a minimum limit to buy to use a debit/credit card, which is a real shame. The selection isnt that great but I still found what I was looking for. Plenty of canned fish and various different ikras that they have. Also lots of sweets. Overall a good store.
I called them in advance to make sure that products ( mostly certain sweets) that I was looking for were there, since we were driving from afar and I didnt know what to expect. I was very pleased with everything I found/purchased there, my guests were pleased as well, so heartfelt thank you. Its a small store, but the selection was good, and so was the quality of products. The owners of the store ( I assume thats who they were) were very helpful as well. Recommended.
Not Recommend this tiny store!Typical Russian store with embittered cashiers!Beware a women on the register - she is worse than an angry dog, always dissatisfied with life and work!Be kind with your customers!!!Also I have bought expired goods at this store many times, but didn’t returned them for the reason that compatriots working there. Will never come again! Good luck!
Wonderful service and great selection of Russian food staples. Their selection of Ahmad Teas is unrivaled in Dane County, and likely all of Southern Wisconsin. Stop in and see for yourself.
Cute little Russian store on Madison! I absolutely love it! Ekaterina is very friendly and nice. They have a very wide variety of Russian and eastern-European food and Russian souvenirs. I am definitely coming back for more goodies!Ekaterina and Alexey, thank you for everything you do. You make a lot of Russian people happy. Wishing you both all the best!
Great place to stop for some Russian goodies. Smaller selection but most stuff is great! They have alcohol, chocolate, noodles, tea, cheese, pastries, and more. If the package has no English on it, just ask and theyll help you out. Stop by! Its Russian!
Wonderful staff
Good sampling of foods and gift items as well as a few groceries and frozen meat. No fresh produce. Everything is labeled in Russian with pictures, a few have English translation.
Gotta have those pelmeni
Good food! My family love it.
Stopped in out of curiosity. We bought Georgian wine and some sweets. The staff was friendly. Will visit again.
Great little store! It has all the essentials, food is always fresh, and customer service is top notch!
Small, but great store for those who are from x-USSR
My friend has been coming to this place for years due to living on the West side, and she has had an unbelievably disappointing experience today. She has gone to this store with her older daughter and spent over $50 there. After she paid, the owner gave her daughter a lollipop. Her younger son was in the car with her husband, and she thought her son might want a lollipop as well. So she asked if she could have another lollipop for her son in the car. The owner said no. He added that they typically sell these lollipops and they are coming out of their way and being extremely nice by giving these lollipops to the children present there while their parents are shopping... :) My friend said Ok, thank you. Obviously, this is the last time she or I are shopping there. Cheap, cheap, cheap people with terrible customer service. Woodmans international section is a great alternative!
Great little store with all the things you cant find anywhere else! My go to place for caviar.
There are many great options. Russian tea is much better! And the chocolate has much less sugar. Many products here are much less expensive then health food stores.
Its small but has some good products.
Really nice staff. Fun experience. Enjoyed waters.
Very nice Russian family owned and operated. If your Russian or love Russian culture you will find a piece of it here. Authentic snacks and assorted goods, yes I believe they have Vodka...
Where else would you go for pelmeni and red caviar? Friendliest store in town.
This store is amazing! Has tons of great stuff from Russia and other Eastern European countries
Fantastic sunflower seeds and other stuff! If youre in Madison, and want a cool place to go, this is a great option!
Great store with large selection of international goods. Very friendly service.Thank you ! Looking forward to every visit.
If you like eastern european food this is the place to be. Make to check dates on some refrigerated food but other then that its great place.
Very nice and friendly place.
This place is the bomb - not huge, but has all of the things that a real Eastern European store has to have. Was happier with the selection here than at many spots in Brighton Beach/the Ukrainian Village.
All the food from post USSR you can find here, good quality, affordable price
Very helpful staff and great selection of products you usually cant find in a regular supermarket.
Right place for russian grocery in Madison, WI.
Wow, what an amazing place. Small but very well done. Has more than most stores in Chicago or Milwaukee. Will be back with the tour group again.
Nice quaint market with amazing Russian food. Always very fresh with friendly cashier!

Great place to find something out of the norm
Amazing Lithuanian bread and beef and pork dumplings!
Awesome selection of authentic Russian foods, and friendly service; what more can you ask for?! They have almost everything you might be craving from your motherland! Pelmini, vareniki, black bread, russian teas, chocolates, canned borscht, pickled tomatoes, pryaniki, halva, the list goes on. You definitely want to go there and check it out!
Small hole in the wall shop. Seems to only have 1 guy on staff. The frozen pelmenini are my staple here. Bring your Google Translate along and experience new foods have never had before.
If you want to have unfriendly, unwelcome and negative environment GO there. I will never never go there anymore. I was there few times and she didn’t smile and great!!!
The store is extremely tiny with not much in it. The store clerk seemed a little snobby when I asked her something simple.
Great selection!
Friendly staff and they have real Russian food and products.
This place has all your Russian food needs in Madison
High prices and small selection
The only Russian grocery store in Madison
Mineral water!
Excellent
I love this store. Everything is always fresh and very polite employees.
The best store is not only in this state, but also among the neighboring ones (Minnesota, Ilina). The seller, the young guy will always tell, show, advise, and always pay your attention! And a plus! Large selection of quality products, which is important!
CHEEKI BREEKI
All good!
