I am so pleased with Overhead Door Company of Huntsville. From the very first contact I was treated with courtesy and respect. Their response time was prompt and on-time. The technician who fixed our garage door opener (Dan) was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and answered my questions patiently. He explained everything clearly and was able to repair several issues and stay within the initial service charge amount, with no additional charges.

FYI: We had two single garage doors replaced which were damaged. Travis came out to survey our situation. He gave us the options of their products and the decision was made to order and proceed with replacement. The same evening Mitchell the office manager worked with us on arrangements for down payment and final payment after installation. Friday, July 30, 2021, Wilson and Kyle arrived to install the new doors and all new hardware. The entire process was easy and very professional. The doors are gorgeous and operate smoothly. I was expecting to have to replace the door but Scotty said he would be able to fix it! Not only did he fix it, he adjusted the spring (which they had replaced approx 5 years ago), adjusted the opener and lubricated everything! Great company to work with! I waited two weeks for another company (who replaced one of our door openers about 2 years ago) to call back. Scotty Dudley was our technician. He tried to fix our non-working garage door by tightening the spring, to save us the $$ of replacing the motor. We ended up needing to replace the motor anyway, and he subtracted our first visit fee from the total for motor replacement. He was polite and honest. Cant ask for more than that! Highly recommend!! He also gave us new opener remotes and reprogrammed our old ones!

Called around for estimate for routine maintenance - 5 years, about time to oil & check springs. They were the least expensive and fit my timeline. Scotty came out and oiled it up (as expected) but then went on to tighten spring, add bypass string, clean out light cover, and even nail in outside trim (unexpected!). He went above and beyond yet was still done in about 30 minutes. Outstanding service...definitely recommend!

Overhead Door - specifically Dan - came to our house and completed needed repairs to our doors as we requested. He also performed many checks and adjustments in addition to what was requested. Our doors now work and work better than they did weeks ago prior to broken springs.

Wow! What a quote: $175, $190 & $190 for 3 door bottom seals. What about just the seals? I can replace. Channing was helpful, but informed me that Overhead Door does not sell parts - at least not today due to COVID. It was interesting that Channing said she has been told to send customers to Home Depot & the internet for parts. OK. I guess thats all I need to know about OD. Theyll be happy to service your door for exorbitant prices. OD installed these doors SEVERAL years ago, but I guess Ill find my parts and replacement doors, when needed, elsewhere.

Dont know if I will hire Overhead door to do my work yet. The person who answered the phone was a little snotty when I asked if they had the springs in the size I needed, I did not get a chance to tell her what size I needed. She said they have all the springs in stock. I wanted this to be done as soon as possible and not have to wait for a technician to come look at my door and then tell me that my size spring would have to be ordered. I dont think it is beyond expectations to ask someone to check their stock so Im not stuck waiting.

When both of our cars were trapped in the garage by a broken spring on the garage door, Overhead Door took my panic call at 7:15 a.m. and promised a technician would be at my house before noon. He arrived at about 10:30, and in 30 minutes the door was working again. The tech was polite, and he explained the repairs as he did the work.

Dan came out early on a rainy Monday and fixed my broken spring very quickly. He even went over maintenance on the door to help extend the life of the components. He sprayed the hinges and spring to show me how to get rid of the loud squeaks when opening/closing. Highly recommend this company and this tech.

Called Tuesday afternoon about a burned out motor on my garage door opener. They scheduled me for the next day - that was fast!
