Very pleased with the two gentlemen who installed our two new openers. They work great, and the techs were efficient and communicated everything we needed to know without asking.
Good service from the repairman and satisfied with job. The company just needs to increase there service area thats listed so not to include a $60 extra charge for drive time over 30 minutes (26 miles) from there location.
One of my two garage door cables broke while attempting to open the door yesterday morning at 7:30 am. I called American at about 8:15 and explained my problem to the attentive representative. She sent out repairman and he was at my house within the hour of my call. Repairman was courteous and efficient. within 3 hours of the initial breakdown the door was repaired. I will always call these guys when I need garage door repairs. Great experience.
Extremely poor service and communication.
The spring on my garage door broke and overhead door company come out the next day and within a little over an hour, my garage door was fixed. Dan was very good and knowledgeable about what he was doing and even give me some pointers on how to make my door work more efficiently. I was very pleased with the service and the price. Also I would highly recommend Dan to do the repairs.
So friendly, professional and on time! Great service. Everyone from the nice lady that answered the call to the nice man that scheduled the service call all the way to the 2 men that serviced my doors, so impressed with good old fashioned positive grateful people. Thank you!
I stopped at this location on Feb 23rd to see if they had garage door seals for some Overhead garage doors that were installed in the early to mid-90s. I was able to get two seals for $25 each, plus the gentleman gave me some helpful tips for installation. I had previously gone to a different company, Overhead Door on Madison Blvd, and they said they were out of the seals, but they offered to sell me a more expensive product ($55 per seal, or a total of $250 to have two of them installed). Im glad that I went to American Overhead Door instead. I also used American Overhead Door several years ago when I had to have some torsion springs replaced. I have been very pleased in my dealings with this company. I will be using them again, and I will not be going back to that other company.
Just got off the phone with the front office woman who scheduled my appointment time. I called at 2:40 after we had agreed upon a 2:15 appointment time. I asked about when the repair person would be here and her reply was You asked for an appointment later in the day I told her that when I originally called to schedule the appointment, that yes, I did request a time later in the day but that she and I agreed upon 2:15 as the actual time. Her response was Yes, we did say 2:15 but you also told me later in the day was okay too. Being confused at the situation and surprised, I laughed and said Well then what was the purpose of the appointment time? Usually if a time is agreed upon, thats what is followed. She then asked me Would you like me to cancel the appointment? I replied Well, where is the repair person? Is he nearby? Will he be here soon? Her reply was I dont know, Would you like me to cancel the appointment? I said It sure sounds like you want me to. She proceeded to say Ill cancel the appointment then and then hung up on me. So this review pertains only to the front office woman who answered the phone. I cant speak to the quality of the repair staff since I never was able to interact with them.
These guys did a great job for us. Quick and affordable.
The very best customer service in town!!! Additionally, very professional, very polite from the initial phone call to completion of project!!!
