Unfortunately I had my car towed because of the apartment complex I live at. We had 2 inches of snow and apparently that was to much for the plow driver and managers. This was off of Wyoming Avenue in Sun Prairie WI. I would recommend NOT living at Oak View apartments. Anyway this tow company went above and beyond and got my car back for me after I gave him my key and paid for the tow. Otherwise I would have to get a ride to go get it. I understand that they were just doing there job. Kudos. I would recommend.. Friendly, helpful, and fast....

Im a very happy with my service from this tow service. They came very fast and were chesper than others I called. The driver was very cool and helpful. I was in a very bad spot to be on the side of the road so a driver coming quick was very comforting. Great service and if I ever need it again I will call here first.

I had a motorcycle that was contracted to be picked up and dropped at the house of the estate sale representative. It was not sold to tugs towing. The estate sale representative had a firm pick up time and was charged for that call. Tugs never showed up. After calling they said it was going to his garage and he didnt have room??? Never the case. Very unreliable.

My van broke down so I called a different tow company and they didnt answer so I called Tug Away and the dispatcher that answered was very nice and thorough. She informed me when the driver would be there and he was even earlier than expected. The driver was also very nice and we had a nice chat on the drive to the shop. I was also pleasantly surprised by the affordable price. In the unfortunate event that I would need another tow, I would definitely call them again.

Very thorough and professional - both the dispatch/service people and the tow driver. We needed a very large sprinter Van towed, which caused a problem for another company. Tug Away asked all the right questions, (size, height, empty or full (for weight) and sent a driver who knew what he was doing, and was polite and cheerful while loading the van. Very happy with this company.

Where to start... I work for a police department not in the local area where this company if from, but my car broke down in there area and was towed by Tug Away Towing through my insurance company. Service was far from mediocre at best. Thats not the real concern here thought. Due to my job I did some research on this company, and the driver that towed my car. I feel everyone should know this before using this company. Tug Away Towing is owned by a convicted Felon, and not some petty crime stuff either. Multiple major crimes and from what it looks like the family didnt fall far from that tree. Next thing is that the driver that towed my car is invalid. (Meaning no drivers license) I refuse to mention names, but just feel the public should know. My car did get dropped off with no problems, but from my experience if their had been a problem it would have been a very lengthy process because there insurance if they have it would not have covered anything. All this information is available to the general public.

About a month ago I had a flat tire and was unable to remove the lug nuts to put on the spare. After searching my phone for near by tow services ( and calling several of them only to get answering services) I came upon Tug Away Towing services,LLC. A person answered the phone right away and they were quick to get my information and dispatch someone to my location. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Most of all he and the rest of the staff, I encountered, were completely professional. The price was a fraction of their competitors. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing tow services!

I want to thank Latrina the receptionist for sticking with me from the start til the end, also with Ace (latrina son/ 🐕) wanting scratches and rubs. The tow guy was very professional and Nice. The mechanic and the owner let me know what I needed done and know what could be done but wasnt completely necessary at this point, since it is just a work vehicle. Saved me money by telling me my battery was still under warranty, so I went and replaced it with a new one at F&F(saved me $70+)! The service was excellent and the bill didnt leave me with an empty bank account. This is not the end of my relationship with TUG AWAY TOWING and SERVICE, thanks for getting me back on the road guys! This is my first tow in the Madison area and I am glad that my roadside assistance company with Russ Darrow picked your company to come out. The driver was very nice and did try to see if he could fix the tire with the compressor and sealant that came with the car but the puncture was in the sidewall.Got it set up on the dollies and hooked up in matter of minutes and was on our way to the dealership. Got connected with this tow company through Verizon Roadside Assistance. The driver had trouble getting my car on the tow bed and made a large dent on the front bottom of my car. He decided to tow my car behind the truck and left the emergency brake on which destroyed my rear brakes. The owner refuses to call me back to resolve this issue.Update: I spoke with the owner and he did absolutely nothing. I sent him all the information and documentation he asked for.

Just want to say this company went above an beyond to help me with a tire change tonight as I had my 3 month old an 3 year babies in the car. They came right away. The driver Lorenzo was so awesome.

A 24 hr towing company that doesnt answer their phone...interesting. Phone message says if this is an emergency, please hang up and call .... which is the exact same number I just called. Daughter flew off snowy road, these guys must have gotten called by the police, spoke with the driver as he had car on flatbed and he refused to tow the car to my house about 10 miles away....now Im sitting in their yard, my car is fenced in, its Sat noon and no is answering the phone or here to help me get my car....can I give zero stars...?

My car broke down a few mins from work. Tug away got to my car in less then 20 min. Tony helped me get it to my local dealership and unloaded it very quickly. these guys really helped me out and did it quickly.

I would give this a zero if possible. Our truck broke down 70 miles from home. They quoted us $200 and then called back a hour later and jumped it to $400 knowing we were stranded. We called at 3:45 pm. Our ride came at 5 pm. They told us that if our ride came that we could leave the truck. We called at 8 pm for the ETA at our home. The dispatch gentleman told us a hour. We called back at 9:45 where the same dispatch representative told us 15 minutes... without looking it up. We called back at 10:30 where the same rep said that he had to check the GPS. He only thought to do that after I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with the service. He said that hed have the driver call us directly. The driver called us at 10:50 telling us that he had just picked up the vehicle as he was rerouted to help other people instead of towing our truck. Its 11:15.... the truck still is not here. Were essentially going on 8 hrs... and $400 for the worst service!!! We filed a complaint with AAA and from the reviews online; it looks as though poor service is a common practice. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! We will be speaking with the owner on Monday for a refund which Im gauging is going to be a battle..... the truck JUST arrived!!! 11:25 pm.....

Called AAA to get a tow after my car was hit. Tug Away didnt receive the full information needed and sent a truck that wouldnt be able to tow my car. That wasnt the problem. The problem was the truck driver telling me theyd send a truck that was able to tow my car and told me to wait for the call from the new driver. I waited two hours to hear that Tug Away wouldnt be fulfilling the tow request because AAA gave them the wrong information. This was very poor customer service. If Id been told right away that they wouldnt be able to fulfill the request, that would have been one thing, but making me wait for two hours was not fair to me.

Tug away towing gives fast and professional service. I lock my keys in my car and they stuck to their ETA and had a smile in their face while doing my service

Just moved to Wisconsin from Michigan & appreciated their swift pick up of my car. They also fixed the issue promptly & reasonably.

I am not going to lie we were a little hesitant buying a vehicle from Adrian and tug away.. We were traveling 2 hours to look at a car that they were selling. Adrian was very honest about everything. There was a wierd sound and before test driving it to far he made it a point to take it back to his shop have both mechanics look at it showed us everything and explained what it was, which wasnt anything critical. Prior to going we checked reviews given the only 1 star reviews were complaints about towing and we all know you cant make everyone happy when you provide services, so we gave it a shot. But from a car buying experience and anyone looking to buy a car from them you wont be disappointed. I want to thank adrian and his family for being so flexible, kind and helpful. -O- STAR!!!!!!!I have been a customer of this place for the past 5 years. Weve received excellent services and fair prices. First time this year we took our car to the shop. We received a call a couple days later and was told our car was ready for pick-up. When we arrived to pick-up the car, we were told that they had put in the wrong sensor and that they needed to install the new one. (weird, right? why call and tell us its ready???) As the guy in the office is telling me the total, its totally different than what was given earlier. He explained that they had to charge for the towing. I was told the towing would be free. He said then hell need to add one of the charges back on and then hell go ahead and get rid of the towing charge.....REALLY? He ended up giving me the price they told us (great). We paid and left.... without the car.The following morning, we received another phone call that something else needed replacement. We told them to go ahead and replace it as well. One week later...The same car is having break issues. I call and spoke with the manager (Adrian, or something) and he was rude and disrespectful right when he got on the phone. Every time I started talking he would interrupt me. I wasnt sure if he was talking to me or someone in the background. I did get frustrated and told him that we have been doing business with them the last 4-5 years and have always liked their honest service. This guy...., probably without thinking tells me that he just recently bought the business a year ago...!!! WHO TELLS A CUSTOMER THAT... WHEN THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU... THEY HAVE LOVED DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU BUT is a bit frustrated with how you are handling things! !!!I felt bad for the tow truck driver. He didnt even want to call his boss back. The tow truck driver was very friendly though and did his best to not say his boss was a jerk.This new management is unorganized, sloppy, no people skills! Go to Bens!

In January 2019, we had a car needing to be towed from our house due to a dead battery. Through our insurance, Tug Away Towing, was sent to tow our vehicle. Our vehicle was towed to the dealership for repair. When we came to pick up our vehicle, the drivers side door was dented and could barely be opened. The dealership said it was brought in that way. When we contacted Tug Away Towing, they denied that anything happened. However, we had pictures that showed it leaving our garage ok, and then the dealership had video footage showing it was damaged as it drove in. It took months until we received payment for the damage.

Never worked with them personally, though I work at a dealer and this company is constantly hurting my customers. You should take pride in your business, think outside of the box and take care of the customer. I will never send business your way and it is sad that insurance companies will still use you.

Terrible awful people.Very rude and unprofessional. Beware of these people. My car was towed after an accident. They did not take my car directly to the shop. When I went to get my electronic equipment from the car so it would not stay out over the weekend in the subzero cold. They charged me $270 to get my stuff out of my car. Claimed it was for his time. How does that make sense for a 24/7 towing company?Tug Away Towing are extortionists, crooks, a waste of a business and a waste to the Sun Prairie community. Found them on Google, just needed to get my sons car to the shop down the road. Great service for excellent standard price which was almost half the local competitor. No brainer. Highly recommend, very professional, easy transaction, great customer service, and fair price.

Poor skills and communication. I had to basically walk the driver through how to get my lowered car onto the wrecker. They were supposed to drop it at my mechanic but the mechanics lot was being redone, there was a sign saying to drop cars in another lot but instead the driver took it back to their own lot. He never called to tell me that and I had to find out three days later when my mechanic was wondering where my car was.

Lorenzo is one of the nicest guys out there. I blew a tire on East Washington avenue the other day and had an awesome experience in which he just wanted to lend a helping hand and didnt expect anything in return. Not too many people out there who will do this for a stranger. I tried to get a police officer to stop while I changed the tire and he pretended he didnt even see me. Even though he had to of seen it happen. Lorenzo pulled over with his flashers on while i took the tire off so i didnt get rear ended, like the police officer should have done. He then gave me a ride to the nearest service station to have a new tire installed and waited for it to get done and gave me a ride back. Then helped me get it back on and waited to make sure everything was good until I drove away. Thanks Lorenzo

The most unprofessional location youll ever deal with when it comes to a towing service. Highly disrespectful behavior and should never treat people like he did. The only glimpse of hope in that whole location is the woman who helped us at the window. However, even that took longer than it should have. Do not go here if you can help it. Not to mention, they tried to charge my friend $125 more than what they should have. Do business at your own risk!

I received a call from my daughter yesterday, seems her car quit on the beltline in rush hour traffic. She was frantic and didnt know what to do. Just as we were talking, one of your angel tow men came to the rescue. He was so thoughtful and friendly, getting her the help she needed and staying with her until she was OK to go. Adrian the owner helped me out so much in a sticky situation i had last week .Im in Wisconsin 900 miles from anyone i know and my car front end came apart and i had no way to do anything with it. I called adrian he had my car on a tow truck in 10 minutes on a Saturday past 5pm . He got parts for my bmw monday and had it done the same day and charged me hundreds less then the other places i called. When i got my car back i no. noticed somthing came off and he came picked the car up fixed it and brought it back no charge he stands behind his workI will only use tug away towing for as long as im in madison area and i recommend them 110%

If I could wright one star I would. Three weeks ago I got stuck in a ditch next to Sun Prairie. I called Tug Away to pull me out. I was told a truck would be there in 45 min. That time went by and more. I called to check on a update and no answer. Tried again 10 min later and they said someone would be there in 30 more min. as if I havent been waiting enough by now. Hour and half later sheriff then showed and called different tow company. They showed up in less then 15 min and got me right out and for less then tug away quoted me over the phone. It didnt stop there though. I received a call 45 min after i was already out of the ditch and they wanted to charge me some outrageous fee for no longer being in the ditch. 0 stars.....

My insurance arranged a tow from this place. Their ETA was 3 hours from 12 midnite. They never showed, never returned my call. Never answered later when called by the insurance company. I was up all night waiting for a tow that never came. If I could give negative stars I would.

Had to give 1 star but really should be 0 out of 5. Company Never received an emergency roadside assistance service request from Ford Roadside assistance. I called 3 separate times, all incompetent and not helpful. I never received a call from the actual towing company until 5 hours after my incident was reported, and 1 hour after another towing company took care of me. I also, despite my extreme displeasure in service, had the dignity to call the this towing company personally and cancel the service request after the other one showed up. The management did not even notify their driver that service was no longer needed, made clear by the phone call i received 1 hour after i canceled the service asking me if i still needed help.WORTHLESS WASTE OF TIME AT BEST.

He was polite and helped us get my truck to a mechanic shop and then went out of his way to make sure we got somewhere safe thank you Dave we hopefully never have to break down again but if we do youll be first call

I wish there was a zero star rating!!! Apparently theres some sort of scam where a towing company can get paid even when they dont show up. My insurance company called a tow truck from tug away towing, and even though I was standing with my broken car the whole time, they never showed, but when I called them, they lied and said they drove by and I wasnt there. Baloney. When I called my insurance company to submit a complaint about them, they said this a common fraudulent practice with tow companies, since they can cheat the system and still get paid this way. Meanwhile, I was stranded with my car for 3 hours. Thanks a LOT! Thankfully an honest tow company eventually showed up.

Bought a car from here and was told the car had no problems and it took about 2 weeks for the car to start having problems, from stalling and shutting off to the gas smelling. The fact that I have kids makes it more upsetting. I ended up just selling the car and it was worth as much as I bought it. Do not go here 👎🏽

The manager ( Adrian ) was very hard to deal with and argumentative after using the wrong lug nuts on my wifes mercedes tire change. The tire almost fell off when she tried to drive the car. I called AAA to have Tug away towing come back to fix it and they refused to return after hearing what happened from AAA. I ended up having to leave work and change the lug nuts to the correct ones for the spare myself that came specifically for the spare on mercedes cars. After placing the correct lugnuts we took the car to discount tire and they advised that because the wrong lug nuts were used there was damage and the new tire could not be put on until new lugs were purchased and inspection done by mercedes because of hub damage. To make a long story short we took the car to Zimbrick mercedes and they verified damage and charged us to fix it. I spoke with the management (Adrian) and he argued adamantly that they had done no wrong even after all the professional verification we had. Finally they did not recompensate us for our loss as they agreed to do. I am very frustrated and perplexed as to why a company is so badly managed and still allowed and trusted to take care of the publics vehicles. Luckily my wife didnt get hurt and this must be addressed because the service I received from the unknowledgable staff and management is a ridiculous joke.Steve BozemanSteves Auto Sales

Beware! This is the worst towing company I have ever dealt with in my life. They are dishonest, unprofessional and UNRELIABLE! They charged my card a ridiculously excessive fee to tow my vehicle from Edgerton, WI, to Chicago, IL, and their driver never showed up. My vehicle was left in a hazardous location on the side of the highway and the Wisconsin state patrol had to tow my vehicle because Tug Away failed to do the job they charged me for! Who charges for a service prior to redeeming the service and doesnt perform the service? Very unprofessional! They cost me hundreds of dollars and several hours of my time. Please do yourself a favor and find a professional towing company to tow your vehicle.

My insurance company Roadside assistance called them. Ended up waiting two hours for them to get there when it originally said only 50 minutes. Guy who picked up my car didn’t know what the hell he was doing. Worst experience ever with a tow truck company!
