This store has something for almost everyone. Not only is it clean and well stocked with holiday sets, and brands that are all the way from Green and Cruelty free to high fashion runway looks. It also is well staffed with friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable salespeople.I found a great Sephora perfume sampler. You get a set of several perfume samples. Then after you decide, you come back and redeem for a travel size of whichever of the samples in the set you liked best.I am making my holiday list and checking it twice and hoping Santa shops at Sephora.

I stopped in to get a new perfume after using the same one for years and a lovely lady, Jasmine, went absolutely above and beyond to help me find my new scent. I have never had bad customer service at Sephora but this was a whole new level of wonderful. It’s only been two days and I’ve already received multiple compliments and questions about my perfume!

Friendly and helpful staff. I returned part of an online order, it was quick without any hassle. I didnt have the credit card I made the purchase with on me at the time so she offered to put it on a different card or do it as a Sephora credit (card had to be swiped). During my visit I asked a staff member about the perfume boxes theyve had previously and she happily told me about their summer box. She offered to look in back for one because she couldnt find one on the floor. After looking at it she asked me what kinds of scents I liked and what I was looking for, we tested a few out and I found one for the summer! She also assisted me with finding a good lip liner and made sure I was all set before she continued her duties. (I wish I could remember her name!)

Helpful associates and an amazing selection conveniently located on the lower level by the jewelry department. They are following safe guidelines throughout the store so shopping is safe and fun. I only support businesses that protect us all. Grab a mask and stop by JC Penny and enjoy the selection.

I came in looking for a product that ended up not being available in-store. Bao offered to order the product for me, but I wanted to leave the store with it that day. So she helped me find a comparable product, taking into account the clean ingredients, customer ratings, etc. (The product she found was also 1/3 of the online product price).Then I asked about a blush but it was sold out. Bao could have easily sold me on another brand but she was honest and told me there was nothing else comparable to the blush I asked about. I appreciated the honesty and will definitely come back to shop again. 10/10 great customer service.

Employees are helpful. Bummer that they can no longer provide samples prior to purchasing. I understand why COVID-19 eliminates the option to try products on in-store, but how does it impact the ability to offer a sample? I would imagine that gloves and a mask would create a safe environment to squirt a product into another container. But, at least you can return products that dont work out.

I went in looking for one / size foundation, and one of the consultants called for someone to help me. After probably around 7-10 minutes of waiting, no one came so I walked away. A very kind woman asked me if I still needed help, and I said that I didnt want help anymore because I had waited so long. She apologized to me and gave me a small gift to let me know how bad she felt. She saw an opportunity to take a bad situation and make it great! 10/10 customer service. I left very happy and more likely to return.

I recently came to Sephora after basically not wearing makeup for the past year due to COVID. I typically wear a full coverage foundation, but wanted to try a lighter wear option. When I came into the store, I was overwhelmed with options and asked Kayla for help. She then spent the next 30 minutes helping me match to my color and prepared me two samples to take home and see which I liked more. She was so patient and positive, honestly she made the whole experience less overwhelming and more enjoyable. Thank you sooo much!! I usually dread having to resupply on my makeup, thanks for making the whole experience much easier.

I have been to this Sephora location a few times but they are always out of products and half the store looks empty. Please try to stock up on products because weeks on end the products are always out of stock. No point of shopping at the location if the products you need are always out of stock.

I had a great experience here last week. Unfortunately, because of Christmas shopping the product I wanted wasnt available, but a store employee helpede find an alternative. I wish I had taken down his name, because he was very nice and very helpful. I recommend this Sephora!

I am a woman of color I scheduled a make over here the artist couldn’t shade match me and went 2 tones darker than my skin I have a more tan complexion so it’s interesting to me that they can’t work with people of color when I’m a lighter tone so I can’t imagine what it’s like for deeper tones. She also made a comment about my “forehead being ashy” yikes. Not black girl friendly.

I love shopping here when I’m at the mall. This location is my go to makeup store and I can always rely on the staff to be helpful and friendly. A wonderful employee taught me how to properly contour and asked me what palettes I currently have that they carry. She was patient in explaining what she was doing as she was doing it and was a great conversationalist. Definitely recommend coming here to everyone!

I dont understand why this Sephora is so dirty. Its beyond weve had a busy day dirt too-- the displays are covered in layers of makeup. The staff were nice but they clearly didnt think keeping the store clean was part of their job. Maybe it wasnt? Totally gross experience here though.

Wonderful staff. Even though Ive gone in with no makeup and looking tired as heck, they were nothing but friendly and helpful. I dont think Ive ever encountered such good employees before. They made the experience much less daunting, and because of it I feel more secure buying expensive makeup. Ive already gone in several more times, but you can bet Ill be returning soon.

Came into the store all employees were standing around doing nothing. I asked if they could match my foundation and help me find a bronzer. they said the have no appointments today. I came right as the store opened at 11. When I came back at 1130 they were still standing doing nothing. they lost probably a 150$ sale for not helping.

I usually have a pretty ok experience at this location but whenever I have an item in my hand and I want to look at another brand near the doors I feel EXTREMELY watched. I try to act as normal as possible and keep my items very visible in hand so I dont look like Im trying to hide anything but I shouldnt have to feel that way when Im just trying to shop

The staff were OK. Some are very helpful and most are kind of rude. There was about 4 or 5 staff there and only 1 out of 4 made me feel welcomed and asked if I needed any help. When I checked out another staff didnt even make eye contact or talk to me other than ask me if I have a Sephora rewards card or something like that. It was just an awkward experience.

Hands down the best Sephora Ive ever been to. Everyone on their staff is courteous and genuinely dedicated to ensuring you leave the store with exactly what you need. Instead of being pushy to meet sales goals, theyve actually saved me money in my purchasing adventures and gained my trust in the process. Theyre wonderfully knowledgeable and utilize the super-awesome technology within the store to take things to the next level. Ive gained more product knowledge and had better suggestions from the staff here in my first handful of visits that I did over YEARS at another location (out of state). Cannot say enough wonderful things about this store! :)

If youre a boyfriend or husband looking to please his lady, dont bother going here to get a gift certificate. Youll be ignored for about 10 minutes, told youre standing in the wrong place to get help and leave with a headache from the trashy club music blaring from the speakers. Doesnt help that its in a mall thats seen better days and is frequented by the less...dignified...of the Madison area population.

I love this store but I am NEVER going back. One day I went in with money to spend. I has just gotten out of the gym so I was in my sweats. I went in and I needed help. Yes I get they were busy but there was two employees just standing there talking. I walked around and walked by them several times and was in the store for 20 minutes and NO one even made eye contact with me. So then there was a girl at the counter and she was just standing there staring into space and she looked right at me and then looked the other way. I finally said to her I have been in here 20 minutes and everyone ignored me. She ignored me so I had to stand right in front of her and ask her again if I could get some help. She rolled her eyes and said we are short staffed. UM what are you doing I was so livid I left. Went to the Chanel counter at Boston Store and the lady talked to me right away.So I called the store and asked to speak to a manager. I told her what happened and that two people were just standing there talking. She defended everyone say well they were all busy. Then in a really snotty tone was like, what do you want me to do about it? I then told her that I had spent a decent amount at the Chanel counter that I was going to spend there until I was treated that way. I then told her that just because I wasnt dressed nice didnt mean I didnt have money to spend. She knew what I was saying and she knew I was right. I love that store but due to that experience I will never go back there I will just go to Ulta or order from the brands sites. I even went to another one in a different town and the girl was snotty there. It seems like thats their job requirement if you dont look rich dont waste your time.

I went there this past Friday for my first beauty consultation (the $50 minimum purchase one) and had an amazing experience. I was nervous to go because I didnt know if the information or makeover that I would receive would be worth $50 or even my time, but it definitely was. My beautician Emily was phenomenal. I told her about my acne issues, my dryness and irritation, sensitive skin, puffy eyes and my request for only vegan products and she didnt even bat an eye. She was a great listener, she walked me through every step of my makeover and gave me some fantastic products to take home. She made me feel like she was just an older sister giving me some makeup advice instead of a salesperson trying to get money out of me. I could tell she cared more about helping me feel and look better than anything else. Because of her makeover I looked like a rockstar, and because of the products I purchased under her recommendation and the samples she made for me of the ones I couldnt afford, my skin looks more incredible than it ever has before. This experience revamped my love for Sephora and I will absolutely be going back.

No help at all with the staff. I went there looking kinda bummy, the reason i did is to try out makeup so i could buy. Nobody helped me at all. I was looking for a new foundation to try. When i ask to get color match the lady rolled her eyes and told me to wait, seriously. After 20 min i left. I took my business somewhere else. I really wanted the Kat Von D foundation, what a bummer. Thanks to Ulta i got great customer service.

I went into Sephora looking for the Cover FX drops and the tarte rainforest of the sea foundation. I was with my boyfriend and upon approaching the Cover FX drops, a worker walks over from another aisle to ask if I need help. I said no Im fine. There was nothing wrong with what she did, its just customer service, however then the security guard came from his corner and he was staring us down shamelessly. I felt so uncomfortable that we just left the store. I didnt leave the store because I was stopped from stealing. I left the store because your staff are extremely unprofessional and dont know how to properly do their job. I will NEVER shop at this Sephora again! Feel free to go here if you want to get treated like a damn thief and get watched by an old white man intensely

I recently had an appointment with Lirio at your West Towne Store. I was in Madison with my husband for a special evening including dinner and an over night at the Edgewater Hotel. I asked her to help me turn my eyes into evening eyes...seductive...beautiful...enticing. She was amazing! Not only did she transform my eyes but my entire look. She talked me through each step, teaching me and helping me understand how to accomplish this look on my own. She is sweet, kind, thoughtful, fully vested into her role as a representative of Sephora. She definitely knows her craft as well as helping me feel pampered, special, and cared for. Thank you, Jessica, for helping me find my new favorite concealer. After asking about my skin type and ‘wants’ from a concealer, Jessica perfectly shade matched me and helped me find the best formulation for my skin. I usually have a hard time shade matching, as I tend to have an odd undertone to my very fair skin, but Jessica perfectly matched me. And now I have a new favorite concealer. As a makeup fanatic, I have used dozens of concealers, but have never found one that I love as much as this one. Clean store, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thanks for the help!
