Went in on 11/08/21 and rented a unit. It was very clean as was the entire facility. The gals that were there that day were super helpful and answered all questions so I look forward to storing my stuff there. Very impressed with the professional yet friendly staff!

This is a great facility and is off the Highway 525 off ramps. A lot of storage facilities also seem to find themselves in sketchy locations but this property is pretty open, clean and pretty easy to manage. The staff is also very friendly and very helpful. The only thing that is making me leave it is simple. It costs too much to stay with them. They perform these market analysis reviews that leads to them raising rents in a little as 3 or 4 months upon rental. I can honestly just appreciate them forcing me out of there with this practice. It made me just get rid of things faster and use $$$ a little wiser. While this location and facility is great, you may get a better option shopping around to other places and ask how often they are raising the rents.Long term storage is not feasible anyway. If you need to put something away for more than 6 months to a year, then maybe its time to re evaluate if you really need it.

We had a great experience renting a storage unit here. I made a reservation online, and Rose called to follow up with me. The next day we came to start our rental and drop stuff off to be stored and Rose was pleasant and timely with her service. We got set up in a reasonable amount of time despite it being busy there (it was Saturday). Rose was even able to snag us a moving cart to use, I was so happy! We had heavy things to move. This location is relatively new and it was clean and orderly. And we’re taking advantage of a good deal. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Searched about a dozen storage facilities around the area and was a little hesitant based on less than positive reviews at other storage facilities… So glad I found Extra Space, they got me the perfect sized unit and the staff on board here at this location is professional, courteous, and always willing to lend a helping hand. You guys rock, keep it up!!

We kept our stuff here for a year. The facility is always clean and easy to get. There are handy carts around to help move things. There are codes to get in and to use the elevator. John was quick and efficient with checkout and all my interactions with Rose have been friendly.

Early in the experience to ask for a review but so far so good and above average. Haven’t even moved in yet so score reflects that. Only worked with Jonathan and he was professional and helpful. Good communications so far however I was caught off guard by the insurance requirement that were not mentioned earlier.

Easy to sign up online. Well lit and secure. Very happy with pricing location and convenience. Friendly staff was a great bonus!

I had high hopes for this facility. The location was great, it seemed highly secure, ect. However, my unit on the 2nd floor far from the elevator IN FRONT OF CAMERAS got broken into and they took everything from me.. the facility manager was helpful and friendly, however, that wont replace my $20k worth of equipment, and lifetime full of memories that were lost in the process. I have been told by police that since I did not itemize my things, its a lost cause. Which is understandable but I trusted the facility with security and they fell short.

I’ve been fighting COVID 19 sense July been completely in contact with the storage, they don’t care they still auctioned off my stuff knowing I have massive hospital bills and the unemployment has been cut off and needed more time they have no resources for someone dealing with COVID and are not helpful with what is going on in the world that is out of my control without even contacting me back they auction my storage they are money hungry company I would think twice with the world how it is before dealing with them

I’ve had storage at many places. I have 5 units presently in this one location. It’s a nice, new, clean place. Their customer service has been most helpful and 5 Star every time I’ve rented an additional unit or upgraded. Recommended!

The guy that helped me was extremely helpful I was in a really bad Situation and he saved my day So so helpful great communicator .. I felt safe to leave all my stuff there .. Only one thing you guys need to look into .. So everyone will feel safe 😀you had some homeless people their my first night . They wait at the Coner of building with no stuff and for people to open the door .. And then go in .. One person Propped open the door with the carts and then left . So that they can get back in Right before it closes .That made me feel very nervous Because I am a single woman by myself in a very empty storage place That felt unsafe to me .. Overall thought everything is Super nice and clean ., And the person at the front desk was amazing at his job 😀..

Easy set up for new rental, lovely personable experience!

When management changed, is when my entire storage and renting experience shifted from highly satisfactory to sub par. There are two employees that work here, both are rude and unhelpful.PROS:well lit, fast elevators, door code to get in building, accommodating hours of operation 6 am-10 pm, online bill paying, covered loading docks, heated storage, clean unit.CONS:Monthly bill raised 30$ after 3 mo, homeless people trying to hurry behind you to get in the building, hallways reak of burnt popcorn and smoke (I’ve come to learn that this is from free basing Percocet pills) rude staff, one Poorly maintained bathroom for the whole building, (regularly clogged toilet), and minimal security features and a history of frequent burglaries.Both of these pros and cons are really going to happen with any storage unit, so please keep that in mind.The most notable thing to Consider- frequent robberies/thefts. The worst part- it’s the tenants and maybe even staff that are behind the thefts. Despite the frequent strings of break ins, there is never any cameras that get put into the hallways, no reinforced “ceilings” or better locking systems (which leads me to believe that the staff might play a part)In the 2 years, I’ve seen 6 or so break ins, each with 5+ units broken into each time, and I’ve only ever seen the cops called one time- and that was not under the new management.

My daughter went to her storage during the extremely hot weather in triple digits and her 2 locks are missing and someone else has a lock on it and of course you cannot reach anyone or get her air conditioner to keep her daughter cool and her pets storage has never been late and then cannot get in it.

Extra Space was a very easy storage company to work with and there faculty was very clean with great access to any unit. I was able to rent a outside unit which was great for me to get items in and out with out the inconvenience of others renters.

Update:I have only been in this storage space since mid August. It is now mid December (4 months later) and they have already raised my rate by more than $30.00. Its approximately a 17% increase. I went from 166.50 (with fees) to 195.50. Not happy. The rest of the review is still true.Original:I just used their website to book my storage online and it was super easy. It also had a reduced rate if I booked it online. And I was able to do it in the middle of the night which was awfully nice because I’ve been really busy lately. Wendy helped me and she answered 1 million questions when I called the next day. She was super helpful and was able to change some information that I needed corrected. I also found their storage unit insurance surprisingly cheap. I don’t think that I could get it cheaper through my own renters insurance. The storage facility is also extremely clean and climate controlled

There were some storage unit code organizational issues with them at first.. but Cindy was moved over from Puyallup to get the storage back in order and we almost had another issue with them today but nope she was amazing!! Great customer service!

Ive enjoyed renting a unit from this location they have been absolutely wonderful with any help weve needed during our stay. The staff is all friendly & personable, very easy to talk to, the GM Wendy has always been a lovely pleasure to talk to or answer any questions I had & made me feel comfortable enough to be able to bring things to her attention & actually have something done about it. They respect the need for privacy in peoples lives an left us alone for the most part & didnt try to get all in our business of what stuff we have stored, while at the same time keeping the property safe & keeping track of any issues or suspicious activity. Plus the property is very clean on the interior & exterior. I recommend this place for anyones storing needs!

This is our second location with this company. Super nice people who were very helpful. We got a 10x10 and realized we needed a bigger one. I asked if we could get a 10x15 and if there was one close to the one we had. The gentlemen working helped me out and found one right across the way. Love how secure this one is compared to our last location. If you need a place to store your stuff chose this location.

I was looking around at different locations for a unit to rent and the manager Wendy was very helpful and professional. The units were clean and tidy. And the location couldnt. be any better than this its close to home. I would gladly refer friends needing to find a space for storage to Extra Space.

My visit and business with Extra Space was pleasant and time efficient. Wendy Harmon was thorough with my info and also very customer friendly.There was another person there, I forgot her name but she was also very helpful via confirming any building codes or any other questions I had.

Your storage facility is great!! I had my unit for only 2 1/2 months, unfortunately by NO fault of Extra Space some of my personal property was damaged. I am writing this review about the personal attention I received from Misty (a site manager at a different facility) and Rose (newly current site manager). The insurance company denied my claim. . I immediately called Extra Space and talked to Misty, she was kind, understanding and she told me she would do some investigating and get back to me. Guess what? She did exactly what she said. She enlisted the District Manager Judy and they discovered the staff person who was at the site the day I discovered the damage was no longer with the company. Misty asked me to give the district manager Judy a chance to contact my insurance company and explain what happened. She put my mind at ease when she said she would do what she can so I would be paid for my property that was damaged. I called back a few days later and Rose answered, she was the new site manager. She listened patiently as I explained the situation. She told me she would talk to Judy and find out if she had been able to contact my insurance company. We spoke several times in the following week and a half She called me when she said she would call me, she followed through on everything she said. THIS IS RARE!!! People that are in a customer service position often get busy and they are pulled in a million directions. A couple of days later I got an email from Insurance company informing me my claim was being processed for payment!! I was very grateful to Misty, Judy and Rose for whatever they did to make it happen. Today I received a call from Rose asking me if I had some pictures of damage items. I told her my check was being processed and I would not be getting it if it wasnt for all the help they gave me. I am not sure where or how The Extra Space Storage Human Service Department picks the people they hire,. Whatever it is, WORKS!!! I would of been happy if I received help from just ONE, but all THREE women cared and took time to help me. They did not forget about me or expect it to work itself out. They stayed on it and followed through. CASE CLOSED!!! LOL Rose is an Asset to Extra Space. She has the BEST follow through, her phone skills are A +, she never made me feel I was being hurried off the phone, she took the time to listen and to CARE. Extra Space be good to Rose, dont let someone else grab her up. Yes there are many in customer service that are good...but ROSE IS EXCEPTIONAL!!! Thank you. Sherryl

I recently rented a unit here. The building is kept meticulously clean. It was quick and easy to organize the rental of the unit over the phone. The staff has been very responsive in answering my questions, both before and after I rented the unit. You can tell from their attitude that they care a lot about providing great service for their customers.

Ease of access and location makes this place a no brainer if you live near this location. Its relatively nice/new as well and staff is easy to deal with. Id be nice if they had 24 hour access in the future though.

Update on July 13, 2021:I received a rate increase notice in the mail. My monthly rate is now 231% higher after 1 year of renting a unit.My price per SF of storage is now $1.2933, up from $0.56.A 231% increase after approximately 1 year of renting a unit with Extra Space Storage.Original post approximately 7 months ago:Problems with getting me registered resulted in me getting locked out, outside of office hours, on a weekend, with a costly rental truck. Four months into the rental they increased my monthly rate by 40%. There was no discussion about rate changes when I signed up, although Im guessing its buried within the terms and conditions of my rental agreement. If you dont like unwelcome surprises, consider shopping around for your storage needs.

I highly recommend Extra Space Storage, especially this location. Wendy, store manager, is amazing! So friendly and helpful 🙂 the units themselves are very well maintained, faculty is clean and easily accessible - multiple sets of key pads to gain entrance into the actual facility/units making them safely secured indoors and well protected. I absolutely LOVE that they provide push carts so we can use to load our stuff up AND they have elevators ☺️

Made the mistake of getting a unit here not realizing that you have to park out front and take your stuff up an elevator with a little cart. I had a 20 foot U-Haul. It took me an hour to load. 7 hours to unload into the storage unit here. Clean. Friendly staff, but I sure would have rather had a place where I can drive right up to my unit.

When I rented a 5x10 last year, Randy acknowledged my needs and was very helpful. Yesterday, I needed to downsize to 5x5 and Randy was again just as helpful. This facility is clean and easy to access. Two thumbs up!

He walked me through everything I needed to know and made the process super simple. They called pretty soon after I made the reservation to discuss my needs and make sure I understood the process. The facility is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful, and the prices are excellent. It is also nice that you have the option to get all your paperwork electronically.Plenty of carts for the customers to use.It would be nice to have some directional signs as you come off the elevator and when you come to an intersection.I would recommend this facility if anyone is looking for extra storage

Great storage unit location, I would 100% recommend. I feel safe here, it’s indoors, and clean! 6a-10p are the hours available to access your storage unit, which is a great amount of time. Extra Space Storage does not rip you off like Public Storage does. No fee of canceling storage unit, just give a 10+ day notice!

Great staff super clean a new facility. I love the covered loading and unloading area so your things dont get wet in the rain. Theres also music playing throughout the building making it feel a little more comfortable.

My experience here has been amazing. This storage location has the best customer service I had ever had at a storage unit. Randy, the assistant manager, made sure I understood the rental agreement and went through the contract thoroughly to make sure there would be no surprises. When we walked through to pick out my unit, they made not of any small imperfection they found to fix. Even though this building is brand new, that attention to their facility is very reassuring. I went in to inquire about spaces. I was looking to rent a unit to store some stuff for my daughter until she moves here from Reno. When I walked in no one was around but I hear noise so finally I say hello. This gal named Wendy comes out. Turns out it was some one I knew. I asked her about prices she told me the price of a 5x10 then I said what the next size up?She clicks on the screen then says here you look and turns the monitor towards me. Um I cant understand what Im reading. So then I ask about Lock and insurance. She tells me is a requirement and I HAVE to provide proof of insurance. I work for an insurance company and it is invasion of privacy, and does not show everything on the DEC page. I told her she was joking she said nope in order to rent you have to provide proof.I went to Public storage rented a 10x15 with lock, insurance and about 100 dollars of merchandise cause I didnt have some one snobby telling me it was a requirement even though I have home owners insurance.

Clean and feels brand new inside, but my entire unit was broken into and lost everything. I was told I was not the only one. I didnt hear about it for almost a week. Security is lacking and wouldnt trust anything valuable here.

Nothing but great things to say-and I’ve been storing here for months now! They are by far the cheapest units I’ve ever had and in the area. Like literally by half price!! NO JOKE. The area is totally convenient, bam right off the 405, big bright and green- couldn’t miss it even if my blinde self tried haha. Super fast elevators. (Love this) faculty is brand new- sooo clean and well kept, (never been in such a clean unit, where my belongings weren’t always getting dusty.) amazing staff!Maddie booked me over the phone, with a totally easy breezy and pain free (contact-less) move in. In the few months storing at the lynnwood facility- I literally cant dream up a complaint under any and all area/departments. Their team is fabulous- very honest, knowledgeable & they don’t bother you one bit (this was a huge issue of mine while storing prior at a Public Storage) Wendy has been such a great employee to me- just the sweetest and funny. Every payment I have made has never unexpectedly doubled or rised even a cent-( which was another huuuuuge problem I had prior) I’ve made every payment without issue (both over the phone and in person,) with the help of Mr. Randy, dedicating maybe 1 minute tops each time. Overall highly recommend to everyone in need of storage units. A+++++ service.
