I recently contacted the store for design help using the online tool. I made a reservation and received a confirmation. The designer was a no show. When I contacted the store by phone the designer thought I was another customer. She was actually rude and told me Pottery Barn design process was for customers interested in purchasing their products. Thats what I was trying to do, buy your products! I guess I didnt fit her profile.

Beautiful current timeless high quality products! Prices reflect the quality. Wonderful customer service! Shipping prices on furniture are outrageously horribly high!!! Thus, the 4 stars.Update: After several months of waiting for our chair to arrive and spending $1,600, we do not like our chair at all! It is uncomfortable and NOT as described at all! Don’t think I will ever order custom furniture again and certainly not from Pottery Barn!!! I now changed my rating down to 2 stars.

My husband, baby and I just went in this store to buy a sofa set we had been researching online . Ready to blow 10k and no one even acknowledged us. No one looked up, no one said hello - nothing. We were in the store for the better part of an hour, sitting in sofas and looking and leather samples. We are in active/lounge wear and in our late 30s. Perhaps we didnt meet the dress code or age standards? There were plenty of older customers being waited on. BIG mistake - HUGE.

Purchased a custom couch in September, got notification it was ready for delivery in early October. 12 hours before the delivery was supposed to show up we were notified the 3rd piece of our couch was a dresser that had been sent by mistake. I called the pottery barn store and spoke with a manager. I let her I know I was understanding and things happen, she promised up and down she would take care of it and follow up within a few days. This was in early October. Two months later, Still waiting for a call back from the manager and still do not have the 3rd piece of the sectional and when you call they are no help. The replacement piece of the couch has been pushed out 3 times already but they don’t notify you, you have to reach out any time you want updates and chase them down.

Typical Pottery Barn with good inventory. Friendly staff and great location. Easy to get in and out of.

Been here twenty minutes one girl is chatting w her gal pal another has been helping the same woman at checkout the entire time came in for the hydro cool cal Kong down alternative and looking for hydro cool sheets and duvet cover? What’s that to cost me about $900 and now since standing her typing this review they’ve moved on to help someone who walked in off the street as I stand here at the check out, cool guess that’s what they pay them for to treat people as if there time is of no value and chit chatting amongst themselves is totally eccecptavle 😒The woman did finally get a chance to come and help me and made up for my irritation with her very sweet and down to earth temperament she definitely treating me like an equal so I’d like to update this post and review and say although I do think they could use more hands on deck here when you are helped they do a fine job

Great place for unique shelf brackets to dinner plates.

Beautiful store but the staff can be snooty and almost never asks if I need help with anything. I always have to track someone down to help or even just to ring me up. Love Pottery Barn products and will always shop here, but wish their staff was more inviting at this location.

One of the best customer service experiences my husband and I have had. The staff went above and beyond for us and made us feel welcome and wanted. Their coveted and very sought after robes (that come out every Christmas time) were on sale and the associates made sure they got us our sizes and with a huge discount. Loved them, will be going back.

Love their products! Some of their displays have led to inspiration that Ive been able to replicate. Watch for sales and discounts!

Last two times I went in noone asked if needed anything. Several people that worked said excuse me as they passed by...so does that count? Most locations are like that but at least Bellevue asked me after 20 mins. At Lynnwood I waited in front for a few mins and watched and literally an employee got their personal cell out. Never said a word. Can someone recommend pottery Barn furniture but with customer service and at least fake they care?

Great location, mean staff. I called about an item that they dont usually carry. Someone in the area bought it online and returned it to this location. They told me that they had it but couldnt find it. I called again 2 days later and they told me that a store in VIRGINIA has some. I live right here in Washington!!! Why would I call the location in Virginia. Not my first negative experience at this location but this one is the dumbest and the last. I will not ever go back to this location. Pottery barn needs to send a secret shopper here to see what their employees are really like.

Not impressed with employees and the lack of them willing to help you find something or ask if you needed help. The selection in this PB was lacking compared to other times when I have been to a store. I dont get to a PB store very often and when I do I look forward to seeing fun items... This one was a disappointment!! No fun small decor items... Overall...disappointed with employees and selection...

Ive always had a good experience purchasing furniture here. I typically go when they have the buy more save more sale because you can receive 30% off big purchases of $3k or more. I have purchased a few things in the morning and turned around to purchase even more that evening and they still let me have the discount. Very accommodating staff. I even received a handwritten thank you letter in the mail after a purchase from the saleswoman who helped me. Its the little things. :)

This is a beautiful store with quality home decor. Great customer service as well!

I paid 2300 for a pottery barn couch. Paid for performance fabric, down cushions. This couch has completely broken down. It has no stains. The cushions are rotated monthly. But because its 2 years old pottery barn will not back its product. Customer service is very rude! Think twice before purchasing one of there sofas. My neighbor bought a couch from a big retail chain, paid 499 over three years ago and it still looks new! Thanks pottery barn for not backing your products and producing sub quality furniture. For what I paid I could have had a new couch for each year Ive owned this one. BUYERS BEWARE!

Not at all happy with the craftsmanship of the loveseat we purchased. The slip cover had to be returned and repaired. Even after the repair, it was not fixed. Took months to finally return the item.

Love this place great ideas and great products. Just disappointed that what I saw online wasnt available in the store.

I usually go to the Bellevue Square store but I had an occasion to go to Alderwood Mall. I ended up buying something at this location and I got great service. It was much better than the service at the Bellevue store where a person can go unacknowledged and look for help 10 minutes or more.

The service was amazing. I didnt even buy anything but i was treated pleasantly.

This store is beautiful and the manager Kathleen is so sweet and courting. I had came in to return some items and got issued a merch card, the store worker JOE HORCH gave the worst customer service possible at first she acted as if she couldnt assit me until I pulled up the company policy then she continued to ridicule me by asking a series of questions. When the card failed and I was informed by KATHLEEN I would be able to come in and be issued a new card once again JOE was working and told me Kathleen had not informed her of this and she had no idea what I was talking about. She told me her manager was off and there was no way she could get ahold of her to get the OK from her. What irritated me most is JOE acknowledged that she remembered me coming in the store and that I am indeed the one she had did the transaction with. I am very unpleased with how I was treated and I do believe it has something to do with my transgender identity as she kept asking did I have my OTHER ID. I will never shop at this location or with this brand now that I know you are against the transgender community!

A large portion of my house is from Pottery Barn, but I think if stores like Pottery Barn would cut back on the weekly huge catalogs, they could lower their prices! Most go directly to recycle!

Horrible staff. I’m an avid PB customer, but unless they fire staff that don’t understand what customer service is I will never return to this store. Go to Bellevue or U village not here. I’ve reported them to corporate.
