Four stars because repair wouldve been more costly but 5 stars because an associate (Issac?) recommended I should trade in for a new product since the cost would come out about the same. I appreciate him trying his best to the best of his abilities to save me the most money with many different options. Another 5 stars for for tech Zack for being knowledgable and helping me trade in and get a new MacBook. Zack was also very friendly and patient.
I am surprised by all the negative reviews. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I am very content with this Apple Store location and always happy to go back.
Sometimes these stores get a little crowded and frenetic with stock out on the floor, I think it is a sign of the season. But they do keep it clean around all the stuff. I know it is difficult to have enough staff and that is reflected in the register wait times. I finally decided I didnt need the 2 5.00 items that day. Not really the store or employees fault.
Super friendly and fast. Went there 30 minutes before closing time. Get greeted and help right away. We did make a purchase and walked out of the store within 15 minutes with the new phone. Very happy
People who work here don’t not know what an American custom service is, at first they assigned me an apoitment for the next day, but its ok, the next day they made me wait outside, they promised that someone would come to me in five minutes, but I stood outside for 45 minutes, I was cold and cold, and I did not got for any service. after generally met a rude treatment to me. Guys, this is an iPhone of your production that does not work, I didn’t make it. I just wanted got a service for my iPhone, but I got rudely kicked out. heres everything you need to know about Apple Store service in Lynnwood.
My husband and I went into Apple to buy him a brand new computer for his birthday. We were both very excited because we love Apple products but mostly the experience! Going into an Apple store is one of the best experiences really makes you feel like you are a part of a community for innovative technology. But unfortunately we got a service customer rep who was just horrible, I don’t recall his name but it was a really rough encounter. At one point he actually raised his voice and snapped at my husband when my husband was trying to make the purchase. He was an older man, but he threw tantrums. I really wish we could’ve worked with anyone else because he really took the fun out of what was supposed to be a fun experience.
Great customer service, as Ive come to expect and very much enjoy with Apple. Thank you to the Apple Alderwood team for providing us with exactly what we needed in a friendly and easy way!
We unfortunately didn’t have a nice experience at this store. One of the associates, Jolene, was very rude and made us quite uncomfortable! I can’t tell if this was due to my husband being trans or the fact that he isn’t white ! Do better Jolene.
I am so thankful for this location! Over the past few months I have been researching the IMac computer in hopes of purchasing one before the student bundle deal ended. Whenever I had a question concerning the purchase the team-members at this location were more than happy to help me out. Last week Thursday I finally decided to move forward with the purchase and was lucky in that the model I was looking at was in stock. I had already applied for the Apple Card (something that was recommended during an earlier visit) which made the transaction very easy and I happily walked away with my new iMac and some AirPod Pros within about 20 minutes of walking into the location. As a first time Mac user, I am so happy with the patience and quality of service I was given.
Im trying to buy I phone 12 mini, walked in with this associate give me wrong information telling me the product I was about to buy is discontinued, then after I walk into the back of the store to found product on display for sale..... You put this guy and he is in front of the store at the entrance and right away without thinking to reject customer!?!? like what is going on with this location?? Tell customer to go away!?! Imagine how bad the situation with this untrained associate can hurt your business. This is unbelievable its almost hilarious.
I experience this first at their store they are not good service. I waited for 4 hours over to complete my iPhone replacement the battery. So I decided one star but I offering you 2 starts.🧐
I get it: were all indentured to the Apple gods. But the customer service is anything but. First, we had to stand around and wait to spend $3000 on a computer. There are PLENTY of employees standing around on phones and tablets, but when you ask them for help they just ask you to wait for someone else (no, not the person at the front door checking you in). Then when I called about am exchange they told me they couldnt answer any questions because I had made a purchase in store and now that the store was fully open the store had to answer the questions. Okay... Made an appointment. Had to wait 15 minutes after the appointment time again while theres an extra handful of employees just standing around.Honestly, you get more help from Googling your questions than you will in the store. Weve been told theyll honor our return even if its after the stated 14 day window because we have to order a different computer online and it wont ship to us fast enough. Be sure that thisll be updated if they dont honor their word.
Employee was truly mean, and uncaring. I know other employees are better then that person but I really hated my time there
Good Customer service friendly service cant complain about there service.
TERRIBLE SERVICE! Schedule for 3:30pm end up helping me around 4:20pm what is the purpose of scheduling my appointment if I’m not being help on time. Not coming back to this location. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Apple Stores are generally good, but the employees at the Alderwood location always seem especially welcoming and helpful.
I was helped by two different staff. The first was Denisha, who was beyond helpful and knowledgeable about Apple products. She gave me & my mom excellent, patient, attentive, and respectful service.Usman on the other hand, was to help us with setting up an Apple Watch that we bought, and did not provide good service. He was opposite of the staff that first helped us (Denisha). When asked what his name was he gave us a nickname. I went to thank Denisha and asked her for her co-workers name, which she gave us and it was other than the nickname he gave us.He even helped a friend of his that he recognized while he was still helping us (without saying anything to us). And he shared his personal opinion (without saying it was) regarding Apple products and did not provide non-bias helpful reasoning, “it’s just a bad product all together, you could just tell”. I asked him for quantity figures..he couldn’t or did not want to provide any. Well, he said the Apple 12 mini was worst than the 12 regular you could just tell and opened up both cameras to show me. They looked the same…I asked, what are the pixel differences? He showed me and they were the same. I don’t think he realized that he had personal preference for phone sizes but from his shared analysis of what was bad about the iPhone mini, he obviously had preference for phones larger than the mini because he couldn’t tell me what was so bad about it it besides that I would regret buying it because for example, he said texting on the phone would suck, I asked if there was a delay when you text or what about texting sucks on the phone? He said watch and showed me…apparently he was referring to texting sucking on the mini due to its size, he meant that it would be uncomfortable texting on a small phone…. Did not trust his opinion. He did not seem like he wanted to help us, let alone be at work that day. Poor attitude and not knowledgeable.
Very helpful staff by got a much better deal through Best Buy online.
They simply are not capable of providing customer service the same way neighboring retail locations next to them can.I love apple product. But Every time I go to this location I’m pushed back in a line and told to come back later. nobody is ever available unless you make appt. They expect you to know this as common knowledge. I’m not impressed with this locations ability to provide service as a shopper walking in without an appt hoping to make a purchase.
I was having intermittent problems with my iPad and I had called and scheduled an appointment. My worry was that it would be just my luck that it would “work” while trying to show the technician. As it turns out he asked good questions, did some testing and was able to help me out. I think his name was Eric. Very professional. Answered all my questions, and made me feel welcome.
Apparently, this location makes it incredibly difficult to purchase a phone. Went against better judgement of ordering online, and missed the cutoff for same delivery by driving to the store location. Standing in store with 3 hours before closing- exact product I was requesting in stock, and no one could sell it to me because they had too make sure I knew about all of the extra options they had to sell, and apparently the 10 people on the floor walking aimlessly with iPads strapped to their hands were not the “specialist” equipped to sell a phone. Wouldn’t take the money in front of them because they wanted to push for an up sell and waste my time. What a pain.
I hate giving one star, We unfortunately didn’t have a nice experience at this store. we waited for 4 hours over to complete my iPhone replacement the battery.
Entry screening was slow...Purchases went smoothly and reps were patient, friendly and helpful.
Stood in line for a half hour to be told i was at the wrong store. I wanted the Amazon store to hep with my kindle. Not their fault
Came to test drive the mouse. Great tech!
This place is always packed. Unfortunately they dont have too much of actual stores around in Washington, but glad this place is still here for me to actually see what I buy before I buy it.
Kudos to the store for a friendly staff and their efforts to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. That said, when it comes to repairs on an existing device it seems theyre more interested in making a sale on a new item than repairing the existing one. They didnt even have a battery for my 3 year old iPhone SE that stopped charging. I made two (wasted) visits to the Genius Bar - the first resulted in my being told it was probably a one-time problem (it wasnt), the second visit I was told the phone was dead. If you actually want to have a product repaired this isnt the place.
We had an appointment for the genius bar and the guy was super nice and helpful and fixed our problem quickly while also informing us on how to avoid the troubles in the future. It would be 5 stars if we didnt have to wait outside for 20 minutes in the cold when you make an appointment and have to wait in line anyway. Which I understand but still.
Super friendly and fast service on my Mac.
WOW. Absolutely the best handling of COVID guidelines I have seen. I made an appointment, showed up and they had separate lines for different types of customer. It was quick and I was in the door within 15 minutes! They took care of my repair needs so fast and I was extremely happy with the results!! I will use this apple store exclusively!!
I went to the apple store on June 11th, 2021 around 2:30 PM. I had cash in hand and my intention was to purchase the iMac 2021 or a MacBook Pro. I’m still mind boggled about the following events that took place next. When I entered the store, I was greeted by an individual stationed at the iMac 2021’s at the entrance of the store and told him my intentions. He informed me they were out of the 2021’s and asked if I had an appointment. I said no, and he told me the next available appointment was next Tuesday and that they were out of the iMac 2021’s for the next month. No problem I said, what about the MacBook Pro. He then said he couldn’t help me without an appointment. Now his customer service skills and attitude saved this from being a one star review and I can tell he was just doing his job. But… Here’s what bugged me…My friend and I then browsed around the store after the interaction and were shocked by the amount of employees just standing around having a good time and showing each other TikTok’s on there devices. Even the gentleman who helped me at the beginning went over to his fellow Apple buddies. Then, one particular employee accidentally dropped an apple product on the ground (could have been a phone or an iPad) and EVERY EMPLOYEE who wasn’t helping a customer started a full round of applause like this man just won an Oscar complete with cheers… Like… There are plenty of guests here who would love to ask questions or buy a product… I could tell I wasn’t the only guest on premise who was annoyed by this.Needless to say, my friend and I who both have retail, food & beverage, and transportation customer service experience were shocked at the sheer neglect. Here’s my main takeaway:Why is there no employee to handle walk in’s and standard foot traffic? Why are there so many employees who stand around doing NOTHING?What kind of business model is this for Apple?Needless to say, I skipped the the Apple store and went to Amazon and purchased my iMac and everything I needed. Ended up spending roughly $3200 so you lost out on a sale.I have no problem saying this, but this specific interaction is why I do most of my purchases online.
This is a wonderful and beautiful apple store.
Tried to call several times, automated system that doesnt let you talk to people in the store
Just picking up an online purchase of Mac and AirPods. Big mistake. Super rude service.
Hysterically bad experience. With all the covid-19 related measures in place they are only letting customers in the store by appointment and escorted by a employee, fine, most places are doing something. The earliest appointment available was an hour wait. Made the appointment and we went off to burn an hour in the mall. Came back 5 minutes early for appointment and ended up waiting for 45 minutes after the appointed time to get in. You can see right in the store and there were three male employees just standing around talking to each other and looking at their ipads for at least 20 minutes. Occasionally we noted 5 or 6 employees standing around not doing anything. I really regret not taking timestamped pictures of them standing around. Eventually we when we got in we were not allowed to really look at anything, we wanted to look at and ipad pro and my wife wanted to get an iphone, instead we were hustled in and hustled out. I guess they all needed to go on break again. What was supposed to be a quick trip turned into a huge waste of time. They permanently lost our business.
Asha was super friendly and quick to process my return and purchase.
Took a half hour to talk to anyone to get service to get a new phone. Folks behind us got service before us. No estimates given on time to be helped. Positively awful.
I am quite disappointed by the staff outside the store. I understand that things are stressful but that is no reason for poor costumer service. I was asked to do a walk in by costumer service, instead of letting me know that they are doing appointment only, the security person continued to block my path (when I was trying to find the line to stand in) instead of saying it was appointment only. This agitated other costumers in line who were waiting, making them think I was trying to skip ahead of them. I’m a pretty anxious person so I left in distress as I was made to feel like a “Karen” when in reality I was just clueless.
I had issues with my left AirPod and I got amazing help! Thanks for that!
Never been here and customer service was fantastic definitely be back for any Apple product I need.
Bad bad bad customer service. Staff is bad. Manager is even more stupid. Not helpful at all. Waste of time going there.
Nice store and good customer service
I feel bad on this rating for 3 stars only! I typically like to give a place 5 stars. We had a confirmed reservation - appointment at a designated time. We arrived 15 minutes early the guy made us feel like we were from another element. So he says come back in 15 minutes. Which is understandable but a smile and some warm customer greeting’s would of been nice! Then we finally get in to phone shop was planning on buying 3 phones today. Then everything was order only low stock due to demand. Great I get it, then while we are planning to order the right phones an associate comes to our group and says due to covid we are limited on people in the store so only one of us can be inside to order. Well mom was gonna use her card to make payment. Then of course I was gonna make order but we had to either decide in minutes who will stay and who will leave the store. So due to the mix up and unprofessional service we went to Tmobile and purchased a new phone.Hope the staff could of had more finesse and charm to there clients.
The only Apple store near Seattle I can stand going to. The employees are beyond nice and helpful. Very professional and they’ve got great safety solutions during COVID.
Went here twice to get my phone fixed, but they didn’t want to fix my phone. And the technique said “sometimes needed to buy new iPhone”If I wanted to buy a new iphone, why would i have to spend 30 minutes waiting outside to get my phone fixed ? Very useless advice. And instead of checking out my phone carefully, he tried to blame my car, i need to take my car to get fixedHello sir, i have been checking up on my car recently, and it’s a brand new 2021 and nothing is wrong with it.No wondering why this store only have 3 starts
Oh yeah the Apple store its a nice place but I can tell you right now if you want to buy Apple product here this is the place to go you can get a lot of things done this way I can tell you this much right now its very nice place to go to unless you want to buy something really good like an Apple watch an Apple iPod iPad or maybe an apple airpod but Ill tell you what if the best place to go when you really want something at a good price
First time coming here. Made an appointment and everything went smoothly. Staff was very friendly and patient with our questions.
I never did like their products much, but I couldnt believe it when I went in the store. No service. No one ever asked if they could help me or if I was looking for something or anything. The couple employees I saw were making a sale. And thats what it seemed was what they cared about. Make the money instead of serving the needs of the customers.
Went in to pick up my online order. The service was quick and fast.
My 2yr old IPhone suddenly stopped working a few days ago, so I drove 40 minutes to the nearest Apple store in Lynwood to purchase a new phone. They declined to help me because I didn’t have an appointment and it was 15 minutes to closing. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t buy a new phone simply because I didn’t have an appointment and it was 15 minutes to closing. Due to my work schedule, I ended up having to go 3 days without a phone. I ended up purchasing a new IPhone from Best Buy a few days later and received exceptional service. The one thing they couldn’t help me with was my data transfer. They suggested I go to the Apple store for that. I made an appointment at the Lynnwood Apple store and drove the 40 minutes, yet again, just for them to tell me that they couldn’t help me because they didn’t have the staff to help with that and it takes too long. I do not have a lot of data to transfer. I’m not super savvy on how to do transfers myself, thus why I was seeking their help. Just wanted the pictures and few videos of my kids off of my old phone. I drove to the Lynnwood Apple store twice and received zero service. I am very disappointed with the service, or the lack thereof, with the Lynwood Apple store. Poor customer service!
My rear camera on my iPhone 11 Max Pro went out and needed it replaced. Went to Apple and due to the current pandemic I could either try to get in as a walk-in or make an appointment. I elected to make an appointment which was almost a week out. But when I got there they diagnosed my issue quickly took the phone in and repaired it within an hour. They replaced the camera under warranty.Service was awesome and super quick.
Nice place for buying Apple devices 👌
Had a scheduled Genius Bar appointment, showed up on time and waited 45 minutes before deciding to leave. Definitely a lot of employees standing around, so it was not for lack of staff. This was also during COVID so one would think they would not want people hanging around longer that necessary. So not only was it a troubling customer experience, it was unsafe. Which is very unusual for Apple.
Slow service, good products!
Friendly and efficient. COVID precautions done right. Great staff
The worst experience ever at a Mac Store! I had an appointment for data transfer a week ago, and when I arrived to the store they just told me “we are not offering that service at the moment.” Why they make appointments for services they don’t have??? Amazing!
The Apple repair center and this Alderwood location are crooks. After being a loyal Apple customer for over a decade I will be moving all 10 of my Verizon lines to Android. I have 5 IPhone 11’s for me and my kids. One of the five was clearly a lemon. During COVID 19 Apple store closures I was forced to send the phone to an Apple repair center when the screen stopped working. They claimed it was water damaged but when I didn’t agree to the repair they sent back the phone and magically it was working...although they deleted the IOS software which I had to reinstall from ITunes. They also didn’t reassemble the screws at the bottom. One was missing entirely and the other was stripped and installed halfway only. The phone worked for about two months and then once again a black screen. I finally was able to get it seen at an Apple store and when the Apple Genius opened it up he found the adhesive application to be shoddy at best. He said he also found water damage and corrosion on the interior but despite the clear faults in the initial manufacturing as well as the shoddy work by the repair center he wanted $400 to replace it. I asked for a Supervisor who gave me the same rhetoric that there was no way to objectively prove the shoddy repair center service or manufacturing defects. In other words they claim we removed the adhesive and screw... As God is my witness I have never tampered with any of the 30+ IPads/iPhones I’ve owned over the years. Stay away from Apple Alderwood and save your dignity and self respect for a more honest store.
The customer service is not great. The manager was rude and needs some joy in his life. I live in Pullman and got a gift for Christmas that didn’t work (MegaSafe Duo Charger). Tried to return it March 2nd and the manager said I had 2 weeks to return it.
Super efficient service.
4 reps just chilling outside the store while people are waiting in queue. This is apple for you. 0/5 for customer service
I want to take the opportunity to share my experience with Apple, so hopefully, what happened to my wife and me doesnt ever happen to any other one of your customers in the future. I was interested in upgrading my Macbook Pro and also purchasing one for my wife. So after scheduling an appointment with one of your sales specialists, on February 22, 2021, at around 4:00 pm, we arrived at the Apple Alderwood store located at 3000 184th St. SW Lynwood, WA 98037. We were courteously welcomed, screened for covid-19, and paired up with Ginger, one of your sales representatives. From the moment we were greeted, Gingers demeanor felt so condescending, arrogant, and overbearing. I told her my intentions of trading in my computer. She looked at it and inspected it with disgust. I asked for a suggestion for the new one. I mentioned to her what I usually did on my laptop. Her response was, To be honest, anything you pick would be a lot better than that computer that you have She then pointed to the 13 MacBook Pros. And Mac Book Airs. I told her that I would like the 15 better. She responded, The MacBook Pro starts at $2,400; you really think you would buy it, with an expression on her face like inferring that I couldnt afford it. I told her yes. Please let me see it. She guided me to it. At that point, she looks very bothered because she says that everything that we touch she is going to have to disinfect again At that point, my wife began to get irritated with the attitude. She communicates to me, do you want me to request to speak to another sales rep. I responded no. Lets just get it over with, and lets go.I told Ginger to proceed with the trade-in. I will take the 13 MacBook Pro and my wife a 13 MacBook Air. And she said, Oops, sorry, the MacBook Air that starts at $999 is sold out. We have one, but it starts at $1,299. It has more features. So I consulted with my wife. I told her we might as well just get another MacBook Pro. We are paying the same amount. While we are deciding, Ginger interrupts us and says, Guys, I dont mean to rush you, but you only have a 15-minute session with me, so you are going to have to make a decision. We ended just buying my laptop. I spent $1,291.71 (after the trade-in), but in 15 minutes, we couldnt accomplish everything that we went to the store to do. The laptop for my wife was supposed to be a belated birthday present. As I was eager to upgrade my computer, my wife was eager to upgrade our iPhones. That also did not happen. We walked out of there very upset. Coincidentally, the store manager happened to be standing by the exit, and he kindly held the door open for us. We shared our experience with him. His reaction was that he was very sorry and hoped that wed have a better experience the next time we come back to the store. Its been a while since I been treated with so much disrespect. Felt so humiliated, discriminated against. I went there to spend money to buy a product that I am proud of spending money on. I am proud to spend top dollar for a top-quality product, but when you pay top dollar for the top product, as a customer, you also expect the same level of customer appreciation—my thoughts.Thank you for letting me vent out
Disclaimer: I never write reviews, so my taking the time to write this says something about this stores management. This is not an overreaction.u2028u2028I am from out of town, visiting family for the week. When I got here, my phone was acting up so I restarted it. When I restarted my phone the apple logo was frozen on the screen, and since then, I have not been able to turn my phone back on. I was on a customer service chat with Apple for over an hour yesterday and they said that my phone was covered by their limited warranty and I could get a replacement at no cost. However, I was not going to wait 3-4 business days to receive the phone as I am out of town and really need a working phone for work. I quickly scheduled an appointment at the Alderwood Mall Apple Store at noon. I scheduled this appointment by following the Apple prompts saying that my phone was “unresponsive and not working”, and I scheduled it almost 24 hours in advance. When I got to the store, the store leader Sean (or Shawn) said that I scheduled a “shopping” appointment. They would not help me tap into the limited warranty I was promised. I told him that I am from out of town and I drove a super long way to get to this store, stating “I have had this appointment booked for a whole day, and I followed the prompts stating my phone was UNRESPONSIVE and NOT WORKING.” He told me there was nothing he could do and if I wanted help I would have to wait two hours “or leave”. I could not believe that. He said they didn’t have anyone available to repair my phone, even though my phone didn’t need to be repaired. I told him, “I don’t need a repair. The customer service agent I spoke with said nothing could be fixed. I was told that I could get this replaced at no cost, and I have screen shots on my computer to show you if you would like.” Sean again reiterated, “There is nothing I can do to help you.”u2028u2028The lack of empathy shown by this stores management was unprecedented. I could not believe that they were so unwilling to help me out. Not only did I spend an hour plus talking to their customer service via web chat, I spent another hour driving to their store only to be turned away by their manager. u2028u2028My phone was not dropped, has no water damage, etc. It is broken because the device malfunctioned. It was Apple’s faulty product that brought me to this position, and they have clearly shown they are unwilling to help.If I were Sean’s supervisor I would be appalled at his lack of customer service skills. Not a good look for apple.
So busy
This Apple store has more security officers than store staff. During COVID, they make it extremely difficult to place a simple order and make returns impossible. Switching to Microsoft since Apple doesn’t provide good service:(
I dont own a apple device, however went in there to get my wife a watch. Very friendly staff, make sure you stay away from others and everything is sanitized. Very impressed.
I went in with the intention of buying a charger for my macbook pro. They brought out the box but then I realized it wasnt the right one. Jeff, the employee who rung me up clearly got annoyed with me because I realized it wasnt the right one and someone had to go back and get a different one. Im sorry I didnt know the difference between magsafe 1 and 2 but next time I think Jeff can do a better job hiding the fact that he was annoyed. It really isnt a big deal to go back and switch the products out. Maybe he was having an off day but do better Jeff :)
Got thru in a timely manner.
How many millions of dollars does Apple make? How much would it cost to figure out how to take care of customers even during COVID? I waited over four hours for a simple battery change. Well meaning employees are straight jacketed by a ridiculous system. Figure it out and get your customer service under control.
Worst experience ever. Sales Reps have no clue what they are doing and they are rude. We have wasted out time there, DO NOT EVER GO THIS LOCATION.
Great customer service
Checked the website and it said you could walk in, arrived and had to wait for an appointment time!
I got the AirPod Pro as a gift in July 2020. The AirPod Pro right earbud has an issue, is not charging. I have called Apple Tech Support to tell them my AirPod right earbud is not charging. I have given them the Serial number, they said my AirPod Pro had been fixed before. I say never been served, I got it brand new. They ask me to provide a receipt, I have told them, got this for a gift don’t have a receipt. They said can’t do anything about this. So I decided to call Apple Store in Alderwood Mall to make an appointment to see Tech Support in person. They mixed up with my appointment, it took me two days to get my appointment. Finally, I have an appointment coming to see Apple Tech Support. I did Explain the issue. Hi take a look at AirPod and say this product is not Apple Product. He said they can not do anything about it. I think Apple company they rather take the customers money instead of solving the problem. Apple products are a really expensive product than others, but they not trying to help the customer out to solve the problem, that’s terrible customer service.
Came in to the store for a simple question. Was greeted by Gina, who told me to wait. I waited for 8 minutes and saw several people who came in after me being helped. So I asked another employee, who told me that the order Id be helped in was up to Gina. I waited another 6 minutes and saw more people who came in after me being helped. I asked another employee again, and he said it was up to Gina. I asked Gina again, and she told me to keep waiting and spoke to me pretty rudely.I never got my question answered, because I got fed up with waiting after half an hour and seeing other customers who came in after me without an appointment being helped sooner.I dont mind waiting, but I would expect that Id be helped in the order I arrived at the store, and that Id be treated with at least basic politeness.
This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a Apple store. I was told I had an appointment. Then I was told I had to stand out in the cold for 30 minutes. This place is awful and the Manger was just as bad 👎 😕 😞 😔
Super fast, even on a Saturday. Read all the 1-star reviews and decided to go 15 mins before my appt to pickup my order. It was a breeze - plenty of assistants to help out outside the store. Waited at the assigned spot and someone came out with my purchase within 1 minute. I was pleasantly surprised given all the poor reviews.
Had a shopping appointment to buy a MacBook Pro and wasnt even 10 mins late and they refused my business. Its already ridiculous that you have to have an appointment to enter the store, but to be that strict especially when Im trying to spend $1400.00? Please... Ill go somewhere else. Thanks apple...NOT!
Very good customer service!
The food was horrible my friend got sick at the food court stay away from panda express
Im a big fan of Apple products, this review is more about the initial service upon arriving. I came to purchase a new phone, however once inside the store it was unclear who I needed to talk to or where to go. After several minutes of walking around looking for someone, I was helped and put on the list. From that point the service was quick, easy, and the staff was great. It was a busy day, but it could have been more clear on where to check in or where to start the process.
I needed a major phone upgrade so I went in to get a new iPhone. When coming in the store you could tell it was slightly busy so I patiently waited for customer assistance. I didn’t mind having to wait. The only problem was that no one even looked at me or told me, “they would be right with me.” That’s why I took a star off. When It was my turn they took me to a guy named Carter. This guy knows his technology and was very helpful in getting my iPhone setup. He made my shopping experience easy and quick. I really appreciate an associate who takes the time to help me %100. Carter you are awesome! :)
Hello. I have issues with my pretty new device which I’ve been using for several months only.Everything was just perfect up until I have upgraded the device to a newest iOS version 14.0. iPhone has started to perform badly, - heating up (becomes really hot to the touch at the back of the phone), and battery is draining really fast.I could spend 2 - 2.5 hours of a screen time and/or about 11 hours of stand by time - and it will die - 20% of battery notification and 10% in matter of minutes.I have contacted Apple Support on Nov 1st and scheduled the call back. Today, Nov 2nd I spoke to one of the Geniuses from Customer Support (physical diagnostic at the Apple store is unavailable for am uncertain period!), he ran some tests, didn’t find any issues with the battery, asked me couple of questions about of how I use the phone and…. SUGGESTED - to turn off - BLUETOOTH, CELLULAR DATA, ALL THE BACKGROUND REFRESHED APPLICATIONS AND USE ONLY APPLE AUTHENTIC APPS!But if I turn this all off and look back every second, check up on my battery percentage left and shudder in anticipation, then WHY IN A WORLD would I need such genius phone???And again, everything was just fine right up until I upgraded it! I haven’t changed any settings or habits, never do! And I’ve been using iPhone since first addition - original iPhone in 2007! I’ve used several models with no issues whatsoever.I’ve never changed my settings or habits, and I am a not abusive user, not a gamer, not a hard core video or podcasts customer.I do usual day to day activity - scrolling through Facebook’s friends activity, checking mail, using maps, and couple of puzzle games at night! That is it!And now I need to switch off everything and got rid of my routines, just for the sake of preserving a battery life. Tell me why would I keep that phone????May be it is time to switch to Android phone and forget about all the issues..? You will lose a loyal customer! Then your representative mention that Apple can replace the phone with a new one. He started to set it up, but then backed up and said that this feature is not available anymore! Really? The only thing they can do is to set up the service - I would need to send them my phone for them to fix it. It would take at least a week considering postage. When I asked him of what am I supposed to use in a meantime, he said basically that this is on me, and to use a back up phone. ???!! I don’t have a back up phone! So, now I am stuck with a low performing phone, which I still need to pay off for another year or so and nobody cares!VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!And by the way, after 28 min spent on the phone with Apple support, my phone battery dropped 28% and phone was constantly warm to hot to the touch, which I mentioned to a representative!I do understand, that you are not producing this precise model (iPhone 11 Pro) anymore and probably voluntarily or deliberately interfering the performance of previous generations of phones to push users to upgrade?!!I wish there is going to be another lawsuit against Apple! This is not a Steve Jobs’ incredible company it used to be once! This is not the way to conduct a fair business!
This store was very helpful even though we have to go through criteria for COVID .
Wait times are always ridiculously long. What are you going to do though. There only so many apples stores.. service is usually good once you finally get helped. The fact that you have to wait upwards of 30 minutes at times to simply make a purchase of something that have in hand is a little frustrating though.
I walked into the Apple store after calling the store phone number that got directed to a sales rep who said I can walk to buy an iPhone. When I reached I was told I cannot walk-in without an appointment. I understand with COVID-19 everybody is stressed and things are expected to be unusual. There is a way to say NO. There was an Apple representative who was arguing as if the person who spoke to me on phone is not from Apple and not taking any responsibility for the mis information that was given to me. He kept arguing that I was wrong. Such an heartbroken experience for an Apple fan boy who has been buying all possible Apple products both for personal and business for the last 15 years.
I was was notified to be at Alderwood Mall store 1-1:30pm Sunday for curb pu. I just bought phone(1st apple) Saturday and arranged Curb Pick Up from store options. I get their and can not contact store by phone because they are so busy call goes to operators. They arent answering their store phone. No help for 1st- Times customer. Apple is ...walmart.
Went there to buy a Watch today. Took about 30 minutes, very quick and the workers were very kind. Unfortunately they didn’t have either of the two Watch colors I wanted, had to settle with the rose gold, but it’s still beautiful so not terribly upsetting. Only complaint is that they should try to stay stocked up on everything. Other than that, great experience.
Just got my apple Watch series 5 today and Mohammed was taking care of my mom and I and we couldnt have asked for a better customer service. He was so friendly and sweet and explained everything we need to know well. My mom and I really appreciate him.
I was able to get help in a timely manner and they were very organized getting customers in and out. The staff took time to actually answer my questions and made sure that I understood my product.
I spent 2.5 hours transferring my data to new iPhone, their staff just ran between different people without focusing my special problem. Their lead is rude and doesn’t care about customer at all. Also not professional, seems they are the boss and we are begging them to help. Apple, you need better training and recruiting, at least let a person with some education lead a team, a nanny can’t help you.
Worst customer service. The people working there are so immature and rude.
There is no way to make an appointment with the store on this site
Great that they r open in store...the person that help was very helpful. They take your temp at door and u have to gave a mask.
Apple Alderwood is one of my favorite places to go to. Everyone there is super nice and they have no problem helping you with your devices. Today at apple sessions are super fun.theres walks, skills and lab sessions. I love this store and I think you as well. I will rate a 5 star review.
Customer service of the girl in the front was rude and fake.
I am a student teacher who will be teaching online this fall in the Seattle Public School District. Due to COVID-19, all schooling instruction will be administered in an online format. For this reason I found myself in need of a new, reliable laptop device that would suit all my teaching needs! I thought Apple would be the best option to purchase from, however I was very wrong. This past experience is not the only time I have left an Apple location empty handed and disappointed. This final attempt to remain an Apple customer assured that I would not be returning. I prepared for my Alderwood Apple visit by calling a day before to consult with an Apple representative over the phone to get an idea of what product would best fit my needs to ensure that my in store shopping experience would be efficient. After consulting with the representative over the phone, I made an appointment to purchase a new MacBook for the following day at the Alderwood Apple location. When I arrived early and checked in for my appointment, I was left to wait outside as countless customers processed to walk in before I was assisted. When an Apple employee finally had come to receive me from outside of the store for my RESERVED time slot, they denied me of multiple advertised promotional deals I had discussed previously over the phone. I brought in the previous Mac I had owned hoping to participate in Apple’s trade in/buy back credit opportunity. The Apple employee would not offer me a CENT for my MacBook laptop! What is the point of having a trade in credit service if it is impossible to qualify? Despite my disappointment of not getting any advertised promotional offers, I went ahead and decided to purchase a new MacBook Air. As I was about to check out and pay for the device, the Apple employee informed me that they had not a single MacBook Air in stock. An Apple store, without essential Apple products....a joke. Because I prepared properly for my Apple visit, I was upset that I was not met with the same orderly and professional service. Additionally, I inquired about what else I could do to leave having purchased what I came in for and was met with the following response from store manager, Eric: “I could do something to help, but I don’t think this situation warrants it”. Apple costumer service does not reflect the “quality” of their products. Do yourself a favor, save yourself the time and money and buy a PC.
