Although they didnt have a large selection for the DS, the guy working there was super helpful and helped me find a game which both my 6 yr old and myself would enjoy playing.

Such a difference from other GameStops locations! Just a few days before Black Friday and things were already busy but the manager and ALL the staff were helpful, engaging, and energetic.I was trying to understand all the options for a Nintendo Switch bundle and they never got tired of my constant questions and misunderstandings. They were patient, friendly, humorous, and professional. Such a drastic difference from other GameStop locations Ive been too. Will definitely make the extra drive out to visit this location.

Had an employee be very short and rude my girlfriend and I when we were in there today. We asked a very simple question and the guy just shut us down as if we weren’t welcome there. He sounded very passive aggressive and would literally cut us off whenever er we tried to ask very simple questions about what was in the strode. The other employee working the shift with him was very nice and helpful though. They didn’t come off as totally passive aggressive. I’ll give one star for her treatment towards us. Nonetheless, I can tell the management isn’t customer friendly, I’m going to take any future business to another castle video games. Not going back to GameStop when other places offer better deals and more friendly and engaging experiences.

The employees were friendly and helpful, made some small talk and learned a critical note about a game I wanted a hard copy to would pretty much only be available if I pre-ordered. They explained why and seemed to be legitimately honest in helping me. Id have been pretty disappointed if I missed my chance at a hard copy. So definitely have them to thank for letting me know.

I wanted to know what I was buying, so I asked the individual directing me to the line (I know his name, but Ill withhold it since hes not the problem) what is included in the bundle. He told me the console, extra controller, year subscription to ps plus, and the new spider man game. Cool. So after waiting 20-ish minutes, I get to the front of the line and am able to order the bundle. I asked the individual ordering the bundle for me again what was included just to be sure Im not paying for anything else. Same, console, extra controller, year subscription, and spider man game. Cool. Pay for the bundle, but the receipt they give me is just a dollar amount and doesnt include details. Weird. Also, my math is pretty good, so I notice that its a little more expensive than I thought. Again, weird. Fast forward five days, I finally get an email from GameStop with the purchase order. Interestingly enough, theres a charge for extra insurance that I didnt approve. So I call the Alderwood Mall GameStop and ask to speak to the manager. This condescending, absolute piece of trash, tells me its in MY best interest to take the extra insurance and refuses to refund me the insurance I didnt want. He claimed that the insurance was part of the bundle and cannot refund me the amount for the insurance. He berates me for being a waste of time since he has a house full of customers and Im out of luck, even if I call customer service. So I try to call customer service. Holy 48 minutes wait. I finally get connected to someone and they hang up on me. Ok, Ill send an email. Sent a message on December 23rd. Still no response. Ill probably spend my money elsewhere in the future....no wonder why GameStop is dying.

Definitely worth visiting to purchase games. My kids love being able to browse the game selection in person and check put all the cool collectables.

Easy fix and quick help

A Game Stop employee here screwed me out of my Animal Crossing switch console Order. Now I get the check the website and be on a wait list and hope that more is available. Called the company customer service and they could do nothing but apologize and wish me luck. As soon as I get confirmation they cant get anymore I am cancelling my Pro subscription. The company will get their money for their pre-orders, but they lost a loyal customer in the process. Good job, Game Stop.

I went to here and just because I am a teen when I go to game demos set up around the store they ask me two minutes after I started playing the demo if I need any help I had one really bad experience were I went to the store and my grandmother said is this game good for his age (BO4 with gore filter ps I have halo five and warzone my grandma KNOWS THAT) he over exaggerated and I said I have halo five and my mom knows I play this and he said this is your decision (looks me in the eyes) NOT YOURS and I got scared out of my mind NEVER GOING BACK

Always slow. Every single time Im there Im hoping that service will be quick, but it never is. Takes up to ten minutes just for a simple purchase of games. Almost have never bought anything from this store just because theyre so slow.

My friend wanted to go so I went with her, its really not my thing but I understand the appeal.

Its an okay place to get games, but its a very cramped store to be inside in (especially during the weekends). You can get some good prices on certain used games at least.

Great staff and large used game selection aswell as new

The staff was friendly and helpful, however the selection was very small from what I could see. I was looking for used games for my switch or my 3DS and what I found was almost all new. They did have the charging dock for my controllers, but they are the only one I have been in that didnt have the SD cards for the switch. They even refered me to the store across the street.

Different varieties of games

This store is the worst, the staff is hella rude and will ignore you too talk to their friends. Go to the good one across the street, they have much cooler stuff and much nicer staff.

Bought an Xbox one headset pre owned since I had just moved and needed something for an in between time. Got home, opened it and didnt use it for another two days. Upon using it I found the hearing on the set didnt even work. They could hear me but I couldnt hear them. Of course the apartment had been cleaned so everything was thrown out (wrapper and receipt) since I have never had a problem with any GameStop before. I shouldve known better.

Even if you dont want to but anything nobody has a problem woth you just looking around, and the employees are always up for a chat.

Unorganized store. Merchandise was up to date. Lots of used games (deals varied from only a slight discount to substantial mark downs).

I enjoy the game selection, but they are starting to carry a lot of tacky stuff.

Good gamestop, bad recent experience. Misled about a pre-order date. Took the day off to play new game. Not all their fault as the game company did a weird release, but yet it is still advertised in their store as available. They also preordered ps4 instead of xboxone, but mistakes happen. Compounds an overall bad experience though.

Dont trade in your games for store credit unless you are ready to buy that day. There is a caveat with the store credit to...if you do not use your store credit within a certain number of days the credit will expire.
