My salesman, Jim Berus, was in contact with me immediately after I submitted my inquiry on the vehicle I wanted to purchase. He was able to get me a price quote quickly and provided finance options with Sandberg. After deciding to finance with a local credit union, Jim and finance specialist Steve Haas were great with communicating with my credit union to ensure the vehicle was secured while sending me all required paperwork via mail as I was purchasing the vehicle from out of state. The weekend I picked up the vehicle Jim ensured that I had a pick up from the airport to the dealership and Johan, who picked us up was amazing in his pickup and discussion on Volvo vehicles during the drive. My wife had been talking about a new car for quite some time and both of us were dreading going through the car buying process. My wife was pretty set on Volvo, but we were a little nervous to go into a dealership and face a high pressure salesperson. We finally decided to go and look at some cars and upon our arrival to Sandberg Volvo, Bini came out to introduce himself I was instantly impressed with his warm and friendly demeanor. Bini was very knowledgable, put no pressure on us, and even encouraged us test drive several cars so that we could feel comfortable with our decision. I never once felt that Bini was getting annoyed or frustrated with our questions. After test driving several Volvos, we narrowed our choice down to two cars and Bini offered to park the cars side by side for us to compare. I was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating Bini and everyone was. We finally made a decision on an XC60 and and we couldnt be any happier. After we signed all the papers, Bini spent several extra minutes going to show us how the Volvo app works and making sure the car and the app were fully connected. We had the best experience at Sandberg Volvo and especially with Benny (Biniamin Tsegay), who absolutely did everything to make our experience pleasant. Compared to our another recent experience with Volvo Seattle, the experience at Sandberg Volvo was far more superior. Price is always a huge concern when buying a car, but we got a decent price for both our trade-in and the new one.Other dealers would stop right after doing paperwork and be done with you but Sandberg folks did a full exterior/interior clean even on the new car and put a full-tank of fuel to drive home. These little things make a huge difference in making the buying process pleasant. Ultimately, happy day!

Well first of all your staff are top notch. My first interaction was with Jim via email. He was quick to respond and was very helpful and informative. When I arrived at the dealership I worked with Bini who could not have been more helpful and easy going. He let me test drive two cars like it was nothing! The whole time showing me different features that I was totally unaware of even after thoroughly researching the car. At the end of the day when it was time to look over numbers, I told him I needed a day or two to think about it and go over everything with my wife. This is usually the time sales people get pushy and try to get you to make a decision right then and there. Bini simply shook my hand and said of course. That right there put my mind at ease that I could work with him and get a deal done. I came back in two days later and told him I was now interested in a V60 Cross Country and even though the only one you had on the lot was about to be converted into a loaner, he pulled the strings and helped me make the purchase! He and Jim are clearly a testament to the culture and continuity of your team. I can tell everyone is invested in your brand and your customers and I can tell you, we will be coming back.

Wow, just wow! And I mean that in a good way!. This was the best and fastest car buying experience Ive ever experienced. We came in to look at at a 2013 Audi Q5 3.0T from here which was already priced right with what KBB suggested. Pointed out about $1k in issues and they took it off the asking price with no issues. Our Sales Consultant, Biniamin, was very respectful and extremely professional. There is nothing negative I remember that I could point out. He even went out and got us coffee when he noticed it was my birthday. The little stuff like that makes the whole experience just that much better. While Im a Audi guy to the core, if I was ever to look for a Volvo in the future, I certainly would go here.

We went to several Volvo dealerships throughout the Seattle area and everyone was rude and didn’t seem like they wanted to help us out. We decided to go to the Sandberg Volvo dealership in Lynnwood. Fares greeted us with a warm welcome and started asking us questions about what we are looking for and showed us couple of different SUVs. Fares also answered every question my wife and I had. He is a straight forward person and will go out of his way to get into the vehicle you so desire. When you go, ask for Fares. Hes the friendliest and most effective. Hes communicable over text and makes the sales process very easy and comfortable. We looked for the right car in Bellevue and Tacoma, kept missing sales and not finding the right deal. Fares through Sandberg was by far the simplest, fastest, and easiest way for us to get a Volvo.Watch out for the finance director though at the end. you dont need northwest protection or that extra damages package. As new car leasers, we were caught a bit off guard having been at the dealership waiting for papers for a while. We were, however, able to back out of stuff and make last minute changes.All around, a really great dealership with great people. Theyre good salesmen, which imo is the double edged sword when working with talented and kind sales folk who are also good at their jobs.Id buy here again for sure.

I must share that Steve Nelson in the Service Dept. was exceptional while repairs to our vehicle were going on. He kept us informed during the entire process. This was a difficult job, as they had to pinpoint the exact vehicle computer that was not working properly. The diagnosis time quoted was the diagnosis time paid. The overall costs at the end of repairs was a pleasant surprise as it was less than expected. Vehicle was delivered as promised. A+ Customer Service.

We just had an excellent experience leasing my 5th Volvo through Sandberg Volvo. There are other Volvo dealers closer to my house but I had a very negative experience trying to go through Bellevue Volvo first (very disorganized with help that didnt know what they were doing). Sandberg Volvo was very efficient and transparent with numbers, and they were able to provide all the information we needed before we even made a trip up to Lynwood. They gave us a good deal on our trade-in and didnt waste our time. The office was clean and spacious and everyone working there was very pleasant. It was a very positive experience and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Volvo.

Update (8/30/2021): Bill Tapscott ( Sale Manager) suggests that I remove this negative reviews prior to proceeding to trade assistance which Sandberg has nothing to do with- I know that Volvo USA is doing the buy back. Based on my personal experience with Sandberg Volvo Car, review is accurate and appropriate. Not only Sandberg screwed up the DMV paper work, paper work to Volvo Finance, inappropriately demand that I remove this review to factory replacement. Never buy any car from this dealer.I brought XC40 Recharge from Sandberg, this should be colored yellow since its a lemon. My Volvo XC40 Recharge had multiple issues, just 2 days after taking delivery of the XC40 Recharge center console crashed and reset to factory default, and lost navigation display in driver side. Even after a few visits to dealer Sandberg, issues are not fully resolved. You see, for some reason after Sandberg fixed the driver navigation display issue, the car is stuck in the “guest profile”, I am unable to login. Car has 100 miles total, spend more time at the service department than my garage, and sales and service department unable to fix this issue- total incompetent as it comes. At this point, Sandberg is unable to fix the issue properly and I am very frustrated that nothing really works properly, I can’t even login to Volvo Car website. I heard about this about Volvo, but, good grief this very frustrating that dealer cant even properly fix the issues.Update:So far Volvo XC40 Recharge has been an awful car, and Sandberg service is doing what they can do fix this issue. I was wrong about the Service department ( Dave Bushnell is awesome guy- he kept his cool and kept professional even after all my complaints.)At ~80 miles infotainment system got stuck in reloading screen and got reset to factory default and lost driver side navigation view.At~120 miles stuck in “Guest profile” and requires full reload of Software.At ~580 miles AC stopped working.At~640 miles, looks like June update happen to car and YouTube music and few other apps stop working.At ~740 miles just shut down and restarted in middle of driving.At ~1140 miles shut down and restarted in middle of driving again.At ~1500 miles shut down again.At ~1800 miles charging port stuck in Green.At ~2220 miles IHU replaced, AC issue is not fixed. Volvo think that replacing IHU will fix the Air Condition.At ~2250 miles same day that IHU was replaced reboot again.

However now I feel totally comfortable with doing so. Hes the kind of guy that you can see yourself being friends with.

I have been using Volvo Cars Bellevue and was fed-up with their lack of care, so I drove way out of the way to try Sandberg after hearing such good things. Sandbergs new facility is absolutely beautiful and the people there are attentive and genuinely care about the customer experience from start to finish. Natalie was my service advisor and not only was she able to get me in weeks ahead of the Bellevue dealer, but she provided excellent communication throughout the visit. I will continue to drive past the Bellevue dealer on my way to Sandberg as it is totally worth the drive.
Recently purchased my first Volvo from Sandberg Volvo. Since it was the brand new XC40 Recharge the process started months ago after pre-ordering directly with Volvo. Biniamin was super responsive to all my questions through the process and long wait for Volvo to build and ship my car. While I didnt take him up it, Biniamin even offered to bring the car to me so I could get it a day earlier than my schedule allowed otherwise. In 25 years of buying cars Ive never had anyone even come close to that level of customer service, thanks Bini :). Id also like to call out DJ for a pleasant finance department part of the transaction along with some great tips around getting a home charger installed.If you are buying a new Volvo Id recommend Sandberg Volvo.Id also recommend the XC40 recharge. We bought in 2020, so this review is old - best buying experience Ive ever had. We shopped around a ton of different makes/models, settled on a model (Volvo XC90) but wasnt sure which unit (a more base or more luxurious trim) we wanted. The GM had two units driven to our home to compare side by side in our driveway; its hard to shop for cars with two young kids since the car was ultimately for my wife. The one we ended up buying was advertised as a dealer special and they made all the advertised incentives work (even though we didnt qualify for one or two) so the price advertised was the price we paid (it was already far under MSRP). Negotiated a fair price for an extended warranty, and got a super low APR from Volvo Financial Services. I dont have time, patience, nor tolerance for typical sales games (four square, How much do you want to pay per month, and can do the math myself) - they didnt insult me with that. Even during the process of purchasing, I had to leave and they couldnt close it, so they sent someone to our house with the final paperwork for signature and to take delivery. Outstanding.

We had a telephone conversation about my likes, dislikes, must haves and nice to haves to help him dial-in on the car I was looking for. (AWD sedan, new or CPO in my price range). We set an appointment and he had a couple options for me to look at when I arrived. He was very interested in my criteria and answered all of my questions. He was very supportive and engaged in his customers satisfaction (myself and my husband, who came in later). I felt very comfortable with everyone involved in the buying process at Sandberg (not just my sales rep but all of the people involved) and for the first time in many auto purchases, I have absolutely no second thoughts about the wonderful S60 I brought home. Recently took my daughters 2006 Xc90 here to resolve engine oil leak (failed seals) and a few other issues.I couldnt be more pleased with the service provided by Dave Bushnell and his team of car technicians. With lifetime warranty on parts, rates that are competitive with independent shops AND knowing the service is rendered by pros who specialize in Volvos, why go anywhere else?

I would definitely recommend Sandberg Volvo. Jim Berus was extremely easy to work with (and fun, when did you ever hear that about car sales). He was prompt in answering our many questions whether by phone, email, or text. If he didnt know the answer, he found it for us. Nothing seemed to bother him. It was by far our easiest car dealer experience. This was our first time using the Costco Auto program. Jim was very up front about how it worked and provided information when requested including scanning and emailing price sheets for us to review. This was in contrast to other dealers who would avoid questions about Costco despite participating in the program. Additionally, Jim would inquire with his parts department on questions we had about accessories. He made it painless to get a great deal that True Car labeled an Excellent Price.

We had a great experience with James B at Sandberg! From initial search to test driving, buying and getting touch ups done, he was amazing to work with. So glad we went with a Volvo dealership for our XC90 and James really delivered on the best customer experience. After we purchased the XC90, we agreed on some touch up work and when it was time to pick it up I was in the hospital and he delivered our car and picked up the loaner when we got home! Fares and the Sandberg Volvo team far surpassed our expectations. We have been customers at the Tacoma Volvo and the Bellevue Volvo for car purchases and outside of getting the best cars we’ve ever owned their service was AWFUL!!We contacted Fares at Sandberg via email (we knew by previous ownership that we wanted an XC60 inscription) we held our communications via email and showed up the next day to purchase.We braced ourselves for a long day due to previous experiences-7 hours in Tacoma, 4 at Bellevue. NOT at Sandberg we were greeted with smiles, conversation and hand shakes by the team. We then met Fares who had everything ready including our new car front and center and ready to go!! We were there for 90 minutes!!! And that included a test drive. Fares was honest, informative, funny and genuine! We will never bother with any other Volvo dealership again! I’m actually looking forward to having my new XC60 serviced just to see my new family again!

My buying experience was excellent. I was given ample time for the test drive. Dealership was maintaining social distance as per COVID-19 requirements. Isaac was welcoming and provided answers to all my queries. He had thorough knowledge of the car and all the available features. I was in constant touch with him via messages throughout the whole shopping/buying process, he was super responsive and accommodating.
We had an alright experience at the dealership with a few sour notes at the end. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with the dealership staff. The sales person that we were talking to was there and had the car ready for us up front for a test drive.That went great and they offered us snacks while they got our insurance down.After the test drive I had noticed some dripping paint off the back of the car. The back bumper had been clearly repainted, and poorly at that. The sales agent then began to reassure me that the car had not been in an accident and that the car did have a clean Carfax. Then he went on to say that he had already told me the previous owner had a large dog and had the bumper repainted. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. We were never told that the owner had a dog or that the bumper had been repainted. The job was so bad that there were physical drip marks coming off of each of the cross-country logos that were embossed in the bumper.We felt like our concerns were completely written off as we left. The sales agent who had been previously emailing me every other day stopped reaching out all together. This felt very strange, like they didnt want our business anymore. We were very interested in the car prior to seeing the bad paint.To make matters worse, the sales manager, Bill, reached out after our visit to see how it went. I replied to him expressing our concerns and he never responded. It really felt like they were driving home that our business was not wanted.
My family and I came in late on a Saturday evening (literally one hour before closing) with the hopes of buying an XC90 we saw on the website. Immediately, when making the call to be sure it was okay to come into the dealership so late, we were greeted with a fun, lighthearted, but professional salesman (Bini) who gave us a great first impression. We arrived half an hour later with three kids under the age of 9 in tow and found a hospitable, child-friendly, clean, and professional organization. Jim soon joined our little team that was working to get this white XC90 secured. We laughed and smiled throughout the entire process, and found the transparency and empathy leap years different and refreshing from other times weve bought new vehicles. Although we were at the office until ten pm (yes, 10 pm), we never felt rushed or as if we were a burden. Even if we hadnt gotten a wonderful deal on our new car, I may have bought it anyway because the service was stellar. If you are vacillating on if you should and where you should buy your next vehicle, stop here and just head in. I promise you wont be disappointed!
Ive leases an XC90 with them a couple months ago. Im quite satisfied with my overall experience. They were easy to work with. There was no high pressure I sometimes experiences with other dealers. Negotiation process was reasonable and fairly transparent. Damon was the sales person I worked with and he was always polite, on time, knowledgeable and swift with responses.
Weve purchased 4 vehicles through Sandberg and while we probably could have done a little better on price we also know that our buying and service experience at Sandberg are worth a premium. We once met a new salesperson at Sandberg who was a little pushy and typical car sales guy. Dont know the circumstances of his departure but he didnt stick.
