My son loves the seafood and the fact that they will steam it for him. Always great prices on steaks. Every time I go in the store the clearance section has something I need that I wasnt even aware of. Lol. The lines are always long but move pretty fast... self check out was backed up about 8 people long.

Boring but practical.On the outside, this Kroger looks like its in the most generic building ever, so I have no clue what its vintage is. While there are some cues on the inside that tell me that this was founded in the early 1990s as a wedge Kroger, the stores layout is atypical of such (produce on the right, guest services, pharmacy, deli, and bakery on the immediate left). The store apparently has a bistro; I didnt get a gander at what exactly it served, though.

Fantastic, friendly staff. Have been in a few times since moving and have always been pleased. The other day when I went in, I went to the check out line and had three staff members helping me. It was a great example of the store going above and beyond for their customers. Big shout out to Joseph, Joseph and Christani!! Thanks for the speedy and laugh filled checkout.

We went to the Kroger Pharmacy on Wards Road for my daughter to get her Covid vaccination and they are the rudest people that I have ever come across in a Pharmacy! I believe they need a complete overhaul!!! What has happened to customer service?? It’s your JOB to service the people when you work in the pharmacy!!! If you do not like people then you need to rethink the JOB that you have! I will never go to that pharmacy again because today they were the cause of my blood pressure to go through the roof!!! I would highly recommend a different Pharmacy! Also FYI the customers can see you talking about them through the glass because it’s clear!!!

When someone clearly says that they do NOT want to use their 20 cent off gas on a 5 dollar purchase of gas how about next time maybe dont apply it anyways.

Kroger is a well-run grocery shopping store!

Did the online grocery order. The employee failed to bring out any of the refrigerated items. Since my husband picked up the groceries, and didn’t know he couldn’t trust this store and it’s employees, he just assumed it was all there. I called the store that evening at aprox 8 pm when we realized what happened. The employee was rude and didn’t care, said my option was to just come back and get them. I explained it was a 2.5 hour round trip. He said I could just come back when it was convenient. I said that would be a week later and I didn’t want week old groceries. I wanted a refund for the groceries they didn’t provide. BTW, it was like pulling teeth to actually go get him to check the fridge to see the groceries were still there. Yes, they were there, despite it showing in the system they were given to the customer. I’ve contacted Kroger customer service. They initially gave a $45 credit, or so they claim but I have no proof of that. I let them know that is unacceptable and I wanted a refund. And I want a refund for what is over $60, not the $40+ I estimated that evening wasn’t delivered. They have the groceries, they could easily calculate the exact dollar amount. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m still waiting to hear from customer service. Buyer beware of this store and it’s dishonest and lazy employees.

The pharmacy at the Wards road needs a serious facelift, they need to learn about customer service. 3 associates walking in circles while customers stand in line with no help.

Kroger’s !!!! What is the problem . My family is so fed up with your chicken parts. If they not covered in feathers . The are bruised and Unfitting to eat ... this has been going on for a while . I’m tired of spending money for stuff I can’t eat .

Love love love Krogers stores.. Always clean.... most of the employees are awesome..... great deals, sales, meats are always fresh and stores are very clean and well stocked... Not to mention the free Friday download every single week. Tonight I only spent $60.66 and saved over $56... You cant beat it.....

Very nice store. The selection is decent, but this is a small Kroger, not one of their superstores, so dont expect to see the deep and wide inventory that youd see in a very large Kroger store.Their produce section is very nice.

Very disappointed, I have always went to Kroger when I wanted good meat. Tonight I decided to buy tenderloins for a surprise dinner. I asked the new guy working for two good cuts with the fewest fat and he gave me Three which I did not no and they were so full of fat we had to give them to the dogs. Sorry Kroger but it Fresh Market for us now on.

This location is always rockin. Despite a remodel that occurred several years ago the biggest pet peeve of mine for this location is the narrowness of the parking lot. Its a good thing I drive a small car because spacing is at a premium. The associates are nice but the store is sometimes in disarray but its probably due to the massive amounts of daily foot traffic it gets. Self-Checkout is nice but is used more than regular checkout. Also between 5-7 most evenings you can expect heavy lines at the registers.

Great place...the steam shrimp they fix for you is awesome. Prices are great . I got to start shopping there. Thanks for the tip from my daughters friend Samantha.

Best grocery retailer in town!!!! Just today I got approximately $180 worth of groceries, but I only paid $138 after coupons and store sales. Love the selection and the prices. Couldnt ask for much more.

I love it!! There is a worker named Allen and he is AMAZING! ! He will help with anything needed when me and my mom go. He shows respect to customers even when they are difficult.

Its a nice kroger. They could use more people in the meat section especially at peak times. The line was pretty long back there today.

I love the prices at Krogers, especially when they have their 10 for $10 sales. However, the parking at the wards road location in Lynchburg sucks! It wasnt designed will for the amount of traffic it receives daily. A perk though, it is a 24-hour Kroger!

Smells like fish, but if you are lucky and visit late at night youll spot a wizard at the robot checkout. (You will know when you see him. If you have to ask, its not him.)

People were nice. Prices were average. We ate at the deli, it took about fifteen minutes to get our sandwich made. Employees had not been trained and were not quite sure what to do, but they were nice, that matters.Its an average grocery store.

I love when the guy is there doing the samples. He is super friendly and convinced me to buy lots of quality Kroger products. I know Lynchburg is kind of a lackluster town but every time I go in and get a sample it makes my life worth living. 5 stars

Its Kroger. Whats not to love? The Kroger brands are by far the best when you compare other store-brands. Absolutely love their selection of teas and coffees as well as their produce and special deals.

Clean and with friendly cashiers. They have wide selection of items. We love going in this place whenever we need to purchase gift cards since they have a lot of choices in there.

Locked their doors at least 10 minutes before the posted closing time. All I needed was water for my family.If you have a policy where you lock your doors early, it should at the very least be posted on the door - not a surprise.

I shop at Krogers a lot and although it was not the store I shop in regularly, I got the same courteous help I always get from the staff. If I need assistance, they are always available to provide it! Thanks, Kroger staff!!

I shop here all the time, I have never had any issues with anyone who works there, place is always clean, the people who work real real early in the a.m. like 330 - 400, are very friendly.. Only down fall about the whole place is no matter what time of day or what day of the year it is, summer, fall, winter, or spring, you might want to bring a jacket, its like an ice box in there.

We ordered a unicorn cake from the bakery online. It was supposed to have a bright rainbow mane in bright colors. When my husband went to pick it up the mane was dark purple, dark green, and had one line of pink. The piping on it was horrible and the name looked like a 5 year old wrote it. So I called the bakery and explained my concerns. They agreed to have another ready by noon. This one was bright, but the mane’s piping was again not what was in the picture. The cake was ugly but at that point I had to use it. Never would I recommend their bakery for cakes.

I went to the gas station and gave the girl $22.19 ($20 cash and $2.19 change) wanting $12.19 in gas. The girl only rang me up for having paid $20 and getting $12.19 in gas when I paid $22.19 for $12.19 in gas so I should have gotten $10 back in change I only got $7.81 in change. I went back after I realised and a older man was there he would only give me $2 back instead of the $2.19 I was owed. As a pregnant woman with no job every penny counts.

Try to do the pick up order online, and it’s complete chaos. You’re supposed to show up within your 1 hour window, and call the number on the sign when you arrive. I show up, I call, it’s a busy signal. So I tried calling customer service. I wait, I get transferred, and I let my phone ring for over 10 straight minutes before it’s answered. While on hold, a sweet old lady pulls up (good for her for learning technology and ordering groceries online) and she clearly starts dialing the number..I finally get through- and I’m told there’s a customer in front of me. How? I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes now and that old lady? Still trying to get through.

Always have what I need. Staff are very pleasant.

WARNING: I wouldnt buy any food from the deli department. Ive seen a blonde hair girl not wear gloves or wash her hands after messing with raw chicken then proceed to serve people food! I think her name tag read Synthia but it was disgusting to watch and I felt so bad for the person she was serving. I hope they didnt get sick from her. I refuse to come back to this location.

I love Kroger, there are so many savings with the card. The staff has always been helpful and friendly as well.

Good selection. Good company. Some employees have attitudes and are grumpy. And one time I saw fruit flys all over the onions (they were gone the next day when I had to grab something.) But, you will find these things at every store. There are some employees that make me come back who are overwhelmingly working in the meat and seafood department. Store manager is out asking how everything is at times, makes it much more welcoming. Props to this Kroger team!

Male worker who couldnt offer a store discount card, came over a scrolled my screen making me feel profiled as a thief; whereas I am not!! Thank God another customer helped me.

Shopping in my local Kroger is always a good experience. Id rather shop there rather than a super store where you can purchase everything from the kitchen to the garage. Im not interested in that hectic environment.

Well for a 24 the Krogers Crew refused to help me. I wanted Oysters, they refused to walk to the cooler and get them. I asked for a Manager the refused to help me with that request.
