They fit my son’s prescription in a set of gold wire frames from the 20’s for his historical presentations - perfect. Had an awesome experience today at Blackburn Opticians, the ear piece on my glasses broke in half and I didn’t know what to do, the business that I had bought them from had went out of business so I stopped by Blackburns and asked if they had frames to fit the lens on my glasses, they took my glasses and came back a few minutes later and told me that they had a pair of frames there that looked almost like what I had and that they could repair them today . In less than a hour they had fixed my glasses and they looked awesome, There prices are outstanding and they are friendly and their customer service was very impressive . I am very thankful that they helped me like they did and I intend to go back and get my glasses from them in the near future . They are exceptional with every thing they do . I currently have an infection in my left eye, and could not wear my GP contacts the past three weeks. I have been relying on a pair of eye glasses as my back up. Unfortunately, I broke the bridge of the glasses over the Labor Day weekend. I was able to temporary repair the glasses, however; it would not be reliable for a pending trip. I tried several opticians in the Lynchburg area yesterday hoping for a more permanent repair, or to mount my lenses in a new frame, with no luck. Fortunately, i found McBride/Blackburn early in the afternoon.From the moment i spoke with their receptionist, who was very pleasant and efficient, until i walked out of their office 30 minutes later with my lenses mounted in a new frame, I was very impressed with their service and willingness to help a walk-in non-patient.
