Honest, fast and clean. Tire Kingdom in Lutz is my go to place for all maintenance repair and replace items. My background in automotive is deep having worked for Ford, Valvoline and Michelin, so I generally know what to expect before I go in, but they always deliver above my expectations with great follow up, fast service and a really decent price. Ask for Armando- super knowledgeable and accommodating.

I have been buying all my tires from Tire Kingdom for the last 21 years . In the past I have always found them to be fair and reliable. My current dealing with them left me very disappointed. I went to them with a nail in my left front tire. I paid for road hazard insurance on the set of tires that was on my 2016 Prius . They called me to inform me that the nail was too close to the sidewalk and could not be repaired. They said the tire would be replaced and I would not have to pay for the new tire. They then informed me that they did not have another Michelin Mile maker tire. The best they could do was put a Goodyear tire that was about the same. I did not like the idea of driving on miss matched tires but I had no reasonable alternative. When I picked up the car today I was presented a bill for $60.00. I asked the manager what it would cost if I had no insurance and it was a fixable flat. He said if that was the case it would of cost me $30 complete. I can’t help but think they are playing with the numbers. I paid for the insurance on the original tire and then had to pay again for the insurance on the replacement tire, which wasn’t even the correct tire. I am out $60.00 and I will not feel safe driving through the smoky Mountains on rainy days. I am very disappointed and I will be looking for a different tire dealer

Ive been going to this Tire Kingdom for many years, its always been a pleasant and honest experience. Thats done. Made an appointment for an oil change. Picked an empty time slot. Went in at my appointed time and it was standing room only. Told the guy I had a 12:00 appointment and he told it would be three hours without even looking up. Told him I had an appointment and he could have cared less. You should take down the on-line appointment because it means nothing. That manager needs to be fired, his people skills are atrocious

This company is truly awful. Tried to give them a second chance, so I walked in to discuss buying a new set of tires. I am an asthmatic and can not wear a mask. Businesses are very understanding about this but not Tire Kingdom. I was told to get out, with only one other person in the entire store. Explained my situation and offered to show my Drs statement, but was told I had to leave, because the company has cameras all over the store and will fire the employees if they let me in. Working with my attorney now. Look forward to the settlement.

Bought 2 new Michelin’s at just under $300 each, and 4 months later, I got a nail in the tread... flat. I immediately pulled the car off the road, and had it towed to TK, as I didn’t have a spare.The flat was removed from the car, and had to replaced, as the inner sidewall was completely blown out. They stated that it was from driving on the flat...but, as I informed them, I had pulled the car off the road immediately. A 4 month old tire should not tear across the sidewall due to a simple nail in the tread. They of course refused to replace it, and I once again had to buy two new front tires !I decided to call Michelin instead... explained the situation and they sent me an email promising to make it right. I now have to take it back to Tire Kingdom, who has already told me, tough sh1t. Really looking forward to this... not!More to follow...

Honest people. I brought my truck to be checked in. I was sure the starter was damaged but they rechecked it and found nothing wrong. They didnt charge me. Other shops wouldve taken my money and made up a repair. Good honest peopke in this place. Ask for Armando.

Purchased a Mesa AP3 tire on 10/26/2020 and within 10 miles the tire blew and nearly caused me to crash, I brought the tire back to the store the same day and they said they would not replace it. Jeffery was incredibly unprofessional and walked away from me while I was talking to him and claimed it wasn’t a tire issue. According to my receipt they only mounted the tire and replaced the valve stem but did not balance my tire.

I was treated less than acceptable over the phone, I thought because I was a girl but as soon I put my husband on the phone (no accent) Everything change, I will take my money somewhere else that is not Short mind it. My English is not perfect, i work on it every day to adapt myself to this great country . God Bless

Worst experience ever!! Jeffery, has to be the most incompetent human Ive ever ran across. The corporate office for tire kingdom should really reevaluate who they put they employ. Having to deal with Jeffery who doesnt have the ability to resolve an issue without acting like a third grader.. What a disgrace!! Shame on you Tire Kingdom!!

I had a 2:00 appointment but my car sat in the parking space till 2:50. If I had known they didnt need my car till 2:50 I could have done other things. Good service once it was started.

Not sure where to begin. Our Sunday started off rough when I we woke up to a flat tire as a result of a puncture. Aside from the nail in our tire, we were well past due for a full set of tires, so I booked a online appointment to have our Jeep brought in for tires and an alignment. Ed was able to streamline the process for us after having our Jeep towed in.Immediately after entering the shop we were greeted with a smile and great enthusiasm. Ed was able to answer quite a few questions that I had and even put together multiple quotes on various tires to ensure everything was within my budget. Ed was very transparent with his information and went the extra mile in terms of creating a great experience for my fiance and myself. Although our appointment was booked late in the afternoon, Ed was able to get us squeezed in and kept the shop open after hours to ensure we would have our vehicle back before days end. In my experience in the auto industry, not everywhere will do this for the average customer.I would also like to give a huge thanks to Brian, the Technician responsible for handling and getting our vehicle back on the road. Brian obliged to stay after hours in order to meet our needs and get our vehicle back on the road with new tires and an alignment. There was another gentlemen that was also there late as well by the name of Thomas. Thomas helped keep us company while in the showroom and aided in lifting our spirits after a long and stressful day. These men should be acknowledged for their above average customer service as well as their hard work. It is solely because of them that my confidence in Tire Kingdom has been restored, and the reason I will be returning/ recommending them to friends and family. Thanks again Fellas.

$100 for new regular tire for my Honda Accord “plus installation” & the gentleman at the front desk was less than pleasant.

They were able to fix my tire quickly. It pays to get the roadside assistance.

I had a multitude of problems with my car and I got all them fixed within a couple of hours on my day off. This has been my go-to location when needing a mechanic and I have never left unsatisfied. The staff here treats me with respect and helps me understand the problems my vehicle is having without making me feel incompetent. I’d rather drive out of my way, across town, to have my car serviced here rather than the locations that are closer to my home.

I always have great experiences here. The guys are always friendly and honest and try to save you money where they can. I highly recommend. Especially for females this is a place you can go where they wont take advantage of your lack of car knowledge.

Convenient hours. A bit pricey, but thats paying for convenience of not having to take time off of work to get your car worked on, since most other garages are only opened during bankers hours. Vic and Armando are very helpful and friendly.

The best auto mechanic service I have ever experienced. Vic at the front desk is great. I went in for an oil change and a brake check. Vic made sure that my brakes were thoroughly checked and made sure to isolate the issue to the most inexpensive fix. It did take a while to get everything done but I got what I needed for a great price.

Will not mount a tire on a rim unless purchased from them. Claimed liability issue

Horrible mechanic shop. Given cheap service, didnt check the fluid levels, didnt check my tire pressure in my tires; refused to do an oil change on my jeep because it ran out of oil. And the mechanic had his own truck in the bay as customers wait in the lobby. Never be back here again!

This is an update to a previous post of 1 star that I had mistakenly left before. I was going to rate the store while I was there that night, but received a call just as I started.I then forgot to go back, and I guess it posted with a default of 1 star. I sincerely apologize to the store owner and employees, who did a great job. I called late on a Saturday night, and they fit me in for a badly needed oil change and tire rotation before my trip, even though they closed in an hour and Im sure they were ready to go home. They went above and beyond. They are friendly and always do a great job when I bring my car in.

Great service! Got me a specialty tire in 1 day, followed up to let me know it was in and even tried to hurry so I could make my dinner reservations! Oh did I mention they dont gouge you on mounting and balancing and all kinds of crazy fees.

Scam central.Went in for an oil change and 15 minutes later someone comes out with an air filter (hope it wasnt mine) held sideways (like a plate) serving me the finest pine needles sprinkled with acorns served atop of an air filter. This person clearly had their act together while they balanced the acorns telling me that I needed to replace the airfilter.I was honestly baffled by this act. Not that they were scamming me, but that an overweight middle-aged man had the finesse of a trapeze artist and the coordination of an Olympic gymnast. I was floored, I thought the acorns would fall on the floor but clearly this circus act was rehearsed and practiced on many unwitting customers. This man was a master of the con and his audience of one (myself) was entranced.I declined and said I only wanted an oil change.This location will pressure you and trick you into buying services or parts you dont need. They prey on those who arent mechanically inclined. Purposely lying to customers who dont understand what is happening and extracting money out of them is unethical. They are the worst.Clean bathrooms tho.

I was at a loss to explain why my Subaru would start without a problem, and then left me stranded at night twice, only to restart without a problem the next morning. I tried being jump started, but the battery and alternator were fine. It would crank for 10, 20, 30 minutes and not catch, but the starter was fine. Then a drove it over to Tire Kingdom on Brinson Rd, (after it was finally running) and left it there for evaluation. I stopped by the next day to find that they couldnt reproduce the problem. It always started! But I knew the problem would return..... Armando, my service manager, who had diagnosed problems with my other cars, said that if I left it with him for a few days, he would try to figure it out. After a surprise backfire ignition, he figured it out. It was two sensors that had malfunctioned (camshaft and crankshaft sensors) that kept the engine from starting. He replaced them and repeatedly tested the car to make sure that was the cause. Now it running fine, every time I start! They say that intermittent problems are the hardest to fix. But this one was no match for Armando and his team. Outstanding service. I will always go to them first for my car repairs!

In search of my tires they checked their local inventory to see if there were other stores that stocked it closer to where I reside but they were the only place that had them and I didnt mind the drive. He got me the most resonable price after shopping around through 4 other shops. Thanks again guys!

Ed Carpenter and Cameron Works, first of all I would like to say thank you!! They went above and beyond to help me out when I was in a bad spot. I had an appointment at a local competitors shop and was denied service unless I wanted to leave my vehicle. My scheduled service was for 4 tires and an alignment. I set this up having only one day off per week so that I could wait for it. I live in Clearwater, dropping it off wasnt an option. I jumped online and called Tire Kingdom. They were booked solid but because of necessity of the situation they offered to stay late and get it done so that I could make it home safely instead of sending me on my way on a bad tire. This is the same type of customer service I would offer in my line of business. Attitude speaks volumes in service repair shops and never once did I feel like I was a burden to them. They knocked it all out and even beat the competitor tire pricing! If I lived over there you guys would be my home shop! Keep doing what you do, reviews dont lie and can make or break ya! First time there for my Matrix tires....had a good experience...I was informed every step of the way on the status...they didnt have the tires in stock (at least the ones I was looking for) but didnt take long until they arrived...I was verbally informed about things that needed attention before gets worse....they have my recommendation

I recently experienced my van breaking down and luckily, this location was close for me to pull into. I was greeted by friendly staff who welcomed my senior dog into the waiting area. They were polite and performed diagnostics on my vehicle.Unfortunately, I did not choose to have the work done due to the forecasted estimate $$$ and then the rude tech who said, i bet that van has never had a tune up or properly serviced. I looked at him and said that is my vehicle and would you like to see my maintenance record?When I said I would have my vehicle towed, the tech informed me, itll be hours before the tow truck arrives and youre better off driving the vehicle home - just drive slow and put your hazards on. tow truck wsa there within 15 minutes.Needless to say, my primary mechanic performed the same diagnostics and the total bill was 60%, yes sixty percent, less than what TK suggested.Again the employee I worked with was very nice, polite to myself and my dog.

$250 to have the cheapest car battery installed. Would have cost $170 at the dealership. While the service was good and the battery nicely installed, I should have just driven down the road for a better deal.My bad, but wanted people to know about the prices of batteries here.

STAY AWAY! Quoted me $340 to change my oil, a sensor, and A/C belt. ALL of which I already purchased myself!!! Its an hour job and he wanted $340!!!! If you know nothing about cars they will take advantage of you and rip you off. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

After taking my truck to the local Pep Boys on SR 54 3 times with problem after problem I visited Tire Kingdom. Pep Boys broke my camber alignment adjustment and camber pins. Armando Alicea the Service Manager at Tire Kingdom was able to get my truck in and resolved same day. Hands down they earned my business for all my vehicles.

I had an awful experience here!! Thomas Sisk was a terrible representative. He called me a liar and was extremely rude and did not want to help resolve the issues HE made with my service. When I asked them to take off the tires they put on without giving me a quote first and just expected me to pay a crazy amount of money, the kid working in my car peeled out in the parking lot because I imagine he was irritated. While we are trying to resolve the issues Thomas Sisk just walks out and leaves for the day! So, Ed Carpenter finished helping me and he, in fact, was extremely helpful and understanding. However, I will never return and would not recommend anyone go there. Thomas Sisk was rude to every person in the lobby never acknowledged anyone and typed on his computer the entire time. While I waited there for 3 hours there was another woman there for the same amount of time only getting an oil change!!!

Typical tire place. A little overpriced unless you catch a deal. Also theyre always trying to up sell but i guess they gotta earn that dollar. Their mechanic services are way overpriced though. I saved over a hundred dollars on new calipers by going to my local mechanic.

Its always disappointing when you are lied to but I give people the benefit of the doubt when a logical excuse is offered. Lie to me twice and youve lost my business forever!! Ive been going to Tire Kingdom, in Land o Lakes, for many years. I was originally sucked in when I bought 4 tires and was offered the free tire rotation & balance service every time I returned for an oil change. Within a year of purchasing those 4 new tires, they were worn equally and new tires were recommended (I only put about 8000 miles a year on my car). The mechanic made the comment that I need to rotate my tires every time I get an oil change....hmmmm.....I do...at Tire Kingdom. However, they showed me the balding so I agreed to purchase 4 new tires and they had 4 other recommended things that I purchased. The more I thought about it, I felt concerned about the statement the mechanic made because I religiously get oil changes and tire rotations. So at my next oil change, I marked one of the tires to confirm the rotation and balance. To my surprise they did not do as they said and it was on my itemized receipt. I called and was told the mechanics changed shifts in the middle of my service and one thought the other did it. Ok, Im reasonable. Ill believe you this time. But what do you know, I just had my oil changed an hour ago and once again decided to mark one of my tires. Guess what?? No tire rotation and balance. This is very dishonest and deliberate. The free tire rotation and balance draws customers back (which is great marketing) but it requires Tire Kingdom hold up their end of the bargain. This time I wont call Tire Kingdom for another excuse. Im no fool. But, I will tell everyone I know of the scam this individual shop is pulling. And unfortunately for them, I talk a lot and WAS a loyal customer. I will never ever return to this shop and they have made a lot of money off of me over the years.Shame on you Tire Kingdom!!! Stop treating your customers like they are stupid!!!

I did not have a good experience.... They brought me home and said my vehicle would be ready at 1 pm. I called at 1:20 pm and it was ready, but no one could get away to pick me up... I live 5 minutes away... I walked up to get my vechicle and it took me 20 minutes.... I walked in and they said. Oh, we dont have to go pick her up she is right here.... haha....... I did not appreciate the way they laughed...They do things, when they get around to it ....... Bad customer service experience.... Thomas Sisk was my Representative from Tire Kingdom.......... Needed struts and tires. Wound up not having right parts for struts. Mainly not happy that it took them over 6 hours to put on 2 new tires!
