I knew coming onto the lot that I didnt have to sell my 2018 Edge. I was looking to down size and found what I wanted(2019 EcoSport) on the website. I had a strict non negotiable stipulation that I wanted a no payment, no money out of pocket, clean swap. I drove it, fell in love with it. This is my 3rd ford and the process was made easy and seamless by Bill Nye the Car Guy.
I was highly interested in a truck on one of their lots and cant get in touch with the lady i originally spoke with. I believe her name is brandy. The number listed for the dealership is also incorrect
Do not purchase any vehicle from this dealership. Vehicle arrived via long haul transport at my home. Vehicle had several mechanical issues including lots of scratches that were capture online. It cost me $2700 at Range Rover dealership to fix the issues. I called them several times and they refused to return my call.
Car was posted online on Saturday. Checked to see if it was available. It was. Before heading to Lubbock today, I texted/called to make sure it was still there. I was assured that it was. When I got there, I was told that it had been sold last week. Apparently before it was listed for sale on the website. Its clear that at the least, these people dont communicate well.
Had to call and call, spent 5 days, got approved but couldnt or wouldnt tell me the length of the loan, how much down or interest rate. Kept calling, when are you picking up the car? I need the details. Called, I am 2 hours away. Give me address. So, drive there. Was told car was at another location. I could ride with salesman there. I didnt feel comfortable leaving my car and their lack of professionalism left me wondering how they can sell cars. I was prepared to buy this BMW 5 Series but as I said but the car was at another location.
This was my service May 4th at Pollard Used Cars on Ave Q. Guilt trips for the ride to your dealership, pushing and rushing me to buy a vehicle yall know I didnt like from the get go, bashing my daughters father when I would call him to get his valued opinion; these are not cool with someone who needed a vehicle and youre selling. Just take the Cooper for 6-7 months, bring it back, then you can trade it in for something you really want. Then you can be pickier because your credit score will be better You need to be more lenient with us because we did give you a ride. I was told Id get a ride home even if I did not buy a vehicle (I have the texts to prove it). So when I told the guy that I wanted to think about it over the weekend. His response, So is someone coming to pick you up? He didnt look happy when I told him the sales lady said was going to give me a ride even if I didnt buy. She had left to get her kids. Yes, I did appreciate the red carpet roll out at first, with the ride to your dealership, and taking me to your other three lots. In the end, I felt like I was being forced to buy a vehicle I didnt want and didnt like and made to feel like I had no other options. But as the buyer, I felt very confident that I COULD get into something that I liked. (And I did!!!) So please keep your 2011 Mini Cooper for $12500. While I ENJOY my 2016 Nissan for $9800. THANK YOU MCGAVOCK NISSAN FOR PUTTING ME IN A VEHICLE AND SHOWING ME WHAT A REAL PLEASANT CAR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IS SUPPOSED TO BE. Tip: Never push nor rush a customer for a sale and belittle a customers choice to get an outside opinion.
Great people and service!
I had the best experience ever at Pollard, no joke. I am a woman and the gentlemen there were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Not only did they get me in a vehicle that served my purposes but the educated me on how to handle my financing in the future and how to get even better deals. I went to Gene Messer before them and left in tears, not because I could not get a car but because they belittled me and tried to MAKE me buy something from them. They ran my credit repeatedly and then lied and said they only went through one bank but I checked my credit Karma report while I was sitting there waiting and seeing all the inquiries I was being hit with. Thank GOD for Pollard. Thank you to all the staff at Pollard, you guys Rock!
Pollard pre owned is the best place to find great pre owned vehicles at an affordable price! Plus you get to deal with an awesome staff that really cares about the customer like a person not a person like a customer!! best place to buy a used car in Lubbock Texas!!!!
I have not even made my 1st payment, and already have an estimated amount of about $1,000 in repairs. I even bought the extended warranty but of course the defect is not covered. I got a 2013 Ford Explorer and the catalayic convertor is out, any mechanic knows that these just dont go out. The funny thing is Pollard Used Car claims all the used cars are Certified, before sold! So this issue would have been flagged. The customer service at the repair shop sucks and offer no help. All they want is money...Good luck to even try to get a hold of your salesperson and getting help. Mine claimed he was working on it to find out he never even called. I have done buy here, pay here dealership and had cars last a lot longer.
Great place to buy a used car. Also has the best finance guy, got me a great payment.
Jeremy, Ashley, & Tyler are the gentlemen I dealt with here and they were all outstanding. Straightforward no BS, which is very nice when looking for a car. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I highly recommend Pollard Pre-owned on 50th and Frankford to find a pre-owned vehicle.
Pollard Pre-Owned is the best place to buy a used car, truck or SUV in Lubbock, TX. Friendly staff, awesome financing options, low payments, and the best inventory in town!
Great people, huge selection of cars. If they cant find you what you need, do you really need it?
Save yourself a headache and go anywhere else.
