I came in thinking I needed a brake job and an oil change… they changed the oil and informed me my brakes had over 50% life left so the brakes werent needed. Most places would have done it anyway for money but these guys are honest. Its refreshing to know that places like this are still around. I will come here for my car needs from now on.

Brought my Indian motorcycle in for required state safety inspection and this is a fairly simple check compared to an automobile. Transaction was completed; about to ride away and the bike died because it ran out of gas-due to my assuming I would make it to the a gas station after the inspection. Never ran out of petro before in my 70 years of life, but I did. Manager was kind enough to have a younger staff member take me to a gas station down the street with their gas can to pick up the go juice for me scoot. Saved me from having to call AAA Texas due to my poor planning. Thanks y’all for the help provided.

They just threw away 20 years of business, because they cant do a simple oil change and inspection on a brand new car. Very sad. Ive been using them for 20 years, but now Ill have to find a more professional service center.

The team at McWhorters is fantastic. Ken provided above and beyond customer service, and my car is back to normal after the repairs on my damaged tire and tire rod. Couldnt have had a better experience, and if anything were to happen again to my car, they will be my first call! Highly recommend!

Not a fan of coming here anymore...not what it used to be back when they had a few other managers that were actually really good people who understood their customers. They need a better person in charge...not one that speaks ill of past employees.

Staff unhelpful. After spending close to $400 on brakes and tire alignment, I drove off with my vehicle making a noise when I turned my wheel all the way to the right. Brought the vehicle back and was advised that the lining around the wheel was causing this and they were going to tie it up so it wouldnt happen again. Just not understanding how this is happening now when it wasnt before?????Staff not helpful. Long wait only to have to turn around and wait again to fix something that wasnt a problem before. Never again.

First time at this location. Went in for an front wheel alignment, the reps were nice, dropped off vehicle and they called when vehicle was ready no delays like real straight forward and easy. A plus to me is they gave me the alignment report most places i been to do not provide. I test drove vehicle and everything was straight and solid. I had times where I had to bring back my vehicles because they did not meet standards or steering wheel was still offset at other places I been to where I lived. I will be bringing my personals and work vehicles in as well.

Quick inspection process

Had our agency vehicle inspected for vibration in front, which was not addressed! Requested tires rotated and brakes inspected, done. But real concern was not completed. Very disappointed!

They have a friendly staff but they dont pay attention to detail first they overfilled the oil when they did an oil change and when I took it back they fixed it for me but then later on I realized that they didnt tighten down the oil filter enough and it caused a massive leak

They said my brakes were fine. I took my car some where else to get a and second opinion. I needed all new brakes and brake pads!!! Thats not right!! My car wasnt safe to drive!

Lazy. Passed my car inspection with bad brakes because they were too lazy to fix them. Had to take it to another mechanic to fix. Then they used the most expensive oil without asking me to make some quick money. Will never go back.Update: The manager talked to me and gave me a refund. Thank you Ken for caring enough to try and fix things.

Highly recommend this location. Called ahead on a Saturday morning to check if they would have time to look at a flat tire and an oil change. They told me they could definitely get the job done that day so I brought it in. I thought I would probably have to end up buying a new tire as I had a piece of metal about an inch wide in the tread. Dropped off my truck and expected a call back saying the tire couldnt be patched. To my surprise I got a call only 20 minutes later saying they were able to patch the tire and they had completed the oil change also. Its really nice to bring your vehicle to a business that gets the job done quickly and professionally without trying to sell you anything unnecessary along the way.

On a cross country trip we woke up to a flat tire. These guys were quick and so nice. They got us back on the road within 20 minutes and didnt charge us! Great customer service and great people!!

A mistake was made during the repair of my tire, they immediately admitted it and replaced it with a new one. They also apologized. Thats far better than any other tire store has treated me. Definitely becoming a regular customer here.

I guess im the only one who had an awful experience. Mr.garrison looking guy lost my invoice and i had to find my copy after 2 hours of him saying he didnt have it. Suddenly he finds it. Smh.Also, incredibly rude. Not at all focused on customer attention. The two tires theyve worked on had issues and had to be brought back. Dont even mind that. I mind the lack of concern. Dont ever go here. Go to discount or a local place.Edit: look and their reply, how not concerned they are. So sad.

Was at Mcwhorters on 50th today when a rude customer entered the store stating you ruined my tire and wheels you put on my vehicle. The Sore Manager attempted to calm the customer and told the customer he would look into the issue. I then heard the Sore Manager tell the customer that he did not purchase the wheels through Mcwhorters. I saw them take his car to the back and the Store Manager showed a picture of the wheel to the customer, the customer took the picture and crumbled it up and said whatever. I noticed that Mr. Miller posted a review for Mcwhorters, stating he had an awful experience, when he was the one giving Mcwhorters the awful experience. Just to let Mcwhorters true customer know, the review from Mr. Miller is not justified and Mr. Miller owes Mcwhorters an apology for his behavior. Hope everyone reads the response from Mcwhorters, they are on track with this customer.
