Anh is so smart. He literally diagnosed the problem with my car in less than 1 minute. Other mechanics I went to, took 2 hours to get back to me and still had no answers. But this guy is magic. Would highly recommend him! Best mechanic in Lubbock.

I was visiting Lubbock over the weekend and someone hit our car while we were parked on the street. I was worried about driving 8.5 hours home, so I took it to Anh at American Auto Clinic and he was so helpful. He hopped in the car with me, drove it around a bit, did some measurements and determined it was still safe to drive. I tried to pay him, but he wouldnt accept it. It was on a Saturday and I got there just before he closed and he seemed legitimately happy that I got there before he left so that he could help. Was very kind and helpful!

Anh Ho and American Auto Clinic is my first choice for care in the Lubbock area.Traveling through the area my radiator burst. I called a handful of shops and all said it would be several days before they could even look at the issue. Not wanting to pay multiple days for a hotel I found parts at a local supplier - I only needed a place to tend the work myself. Driving by American Auto Clinic I stopped in and told Mr. Ho my situation. Without hesitation he said I could work on the job in his lot. He brought out several tools he thought I would need. When I asked if I might borrow another tool - no question or hesitation - whatever I needed he was right there to help. Job complete I made it home to Colorado that night. My alternator went out on me and I needed a quick fix, Mr. Ho was fast, affordable, and very kind. He offered us drinks as we waited and took me in right away when I needed a quick alternator replacement.

The mechanic here is wonderful. He works with you and sits down to talk with you. He isnt condescending and is very nice to be around. I highly recommend this man for auto repair work. He knows what he is doing and saves you money.

Wow, I heard about this place...so I went to go ask about getting my car fixed about my lifter..this white gentle comes out and looks at me and says sorry we dont fix that in cars.I had the biggest feeling that the guy turned me away because of my looks and skin color.Their sign says complete car care..

Super great team! My boyfriends truck has broken down twice in the past 2 years and they used their own personal vehicle to help tow him to their shop the first time- free of charge. This last time they referred him to this less costly company and we really appreciated it. They are a great example of a small business that needs more recognition!

I always go here to get my car fixed and done in a timely manner. The owner is super nice and always gives us a great price!! I never go to any other auto shops in Lubbock and he is the reason why! Thank you so much for taking care of us :)

All I can say is that they are honest and do a great job. We took my car for repairs that I thought would fix it. He didnt want to take my word for it and insisted on giving him more time to check it out more carefully. It turn out to be something else. It turned out to be 50 percent less in cost. I saved a significant amount of money. Yes, it took an extra day longer, but was well worth it. Thank you.

Anh is great.

My son took his car to this shop and had a great experience. His roommate recommended it but we asked him to take the car to Toyota (see separate review). After a very negative experience at Toyota, he took the car here and had his car fixed for $120, same day. Apparently not a great looking space but quality results from what weve seen.

Despite having a small mechanic store, Ahn is able to fix my cars at any time. If you bring your own parts in, he will have it done pretty quick despite having too many cars to fit on his lot. He is super friendly.

This is the greatest auto shop I have ever been. Anh is so so so kind and honest. The first time I went there, he told me I could call him for help anytime. He did it, taking care of my car so well. The price is super fair, too.

This by far is the BEST shop around! Ahn goes above and beyond by being honest in explaining what needs to be fixed and why. His thorough work does not leave you with any doubts as to your repair. In terms of bang for your buck there is no contest as he is the least expensive shop by far.

This seems like a trustworthy shop for any car repair based on my experience. My car had a false code show up, Ahn worked on it for a few days and we determined the code was a false reading based on a bounce in current that interrupted the circuit. He charged me NOTHING. I am very satisfied and will be using this shop for my future car repair.

He made sure my car was fixed properly and worked tirelessly through the night to ensure it was in tip top shape for a trip I was to make the next day. Top notch service and A1 customer service. Id bring him my car again happily.

Had a very unpleasant experience at this auto clinic. I recommend that you look around first. Timing and prices took longer than expected for a job that was simple and cheap and in the in end made my car worse and didnt even fix the issue. May have just been my experience but it happened. I was never given a firm price and was lied to about how much the price was going to be until it came to the time of payment and also made me feel dumb for pointing out the faulty issue.

I have taken my car there several times, the great thing about this place is the guy who runs it is a great person. He takes care of you, he never over charges in fact alot of the time he undercharges for his great services! I recommend this place 100% because they get the job done fast and at a price that the other places cant beat.

I would recommend American Auto Clinic to anyone that needs work on their car, Ahn is an electrical engineer graduate from Texas Tech and he knows how to make his customers happy. He gave great clarity about all the work that would be done on my car and continuously adjusted the price to make it more fair as we found out the problem was smaller than expected. Ahn even stayed late to work on my car to make sure I could get home the day I took it to him.

Ahn helped me out immensely! I went and paid $99 for a diagnostic at another mechanic shop, then was told it would cost me $1060 to repair 1 strut and an ABS harness I knew they were nowhere near that cost. I called up Ahn and he estimated a price more than half the price of other mechanic, $450. Ordered my parts, and got me taken care of the next day. Kind, reasonable, and definitely affordable! Will be visiting, if I ever have any issues!

Excellent place to take your car if it is having problems. They did a major repair on mine at a great price and helped me with all of the minor problems that come up. I recommend that anyone bring their car in.

I needed new bearings on my Jeep Liberty, but didnt want to wait a week for the dealer to do it. AAC got it done in 30 minutes with the parts I brought them. Great service and even better rates.

These guys came through and fixed an accessory belt for me a few months ago while I was at work and I couldnt get back in time to pick it up while they were open. a They fixed it right at a great price and trusted me to slip a personal check under the door and left my keys in my car for me. They made a stressful logistical nightmare as easy as possible for me and I really appreciated that.

This guy is disgusting. Frustrated. He dont know how to diagnose a problem. Just tell you to replace expensive parts for making money. If you dont know about your car parts you are gone. He will start shouting once you ask about the repair. I filed a complaint against him.for a battery cable loose connection he changed starter then fixed cable for 450 dollars. I got cheated literally.

Never go to this Michanic, I had very bad experience with him

My experience was not good. I took my car there already knowing what the problem was. My tps sensor needed to be calibrated. He tells me that the tps sensor can not be calibrated and told me my throttle bottle needs to be replaced. I took my car to my mechanic in Dallas during spring break and he calibrated the tps sensor in 5 minutes. So he charged me 40 dollars to look at my car and give me incorrect info. Very bad experience. He just looked at me like I was dumb when I was telling him the problem but in reality he was 100% wrong. Maybe he doesnt do much work with throttle bodies but it seemed like he had no experience dealing with them because he had no idea how to calibrate a tps sensor which is a fairly easy job.

If you want a summary of my review Ill just say these few things, but if you would like to read how great of a person Anh is (also Robert!) and my experience with the shop, please keep reading.- Doesnt charge to view vehicle(Some mechanics do! Can you believe that?!)- Undercharges, will not take an arm and/or a leg from you- Very honest- Will not try to sell you something you do not need- Encourages to come back if anything may be wrong or something else you think may be needed.Anh and his shop is a literal godsend! I would not expect someone as honest and respectful has he is. I came in for a brake pad change (front and rears) as well as a front rotors resurface. I brought in my own pads and he charged me only $110 for labor. A total I would assume from big businesss would cost around $300 or $400+. For me, labor and parts, which I brought in, cost just a little under $200. He also gave insightful advice on when I should change parts and tips on maintenance. Anh insisted me back for other needs that may arise or if I may seem doubtful of anything he will fix it.Anh is an honest person and that is rare to find nowadays in the car repair/maintenance industry. Other places will do anything to sell you a service you do not need. In some cases, they may NOT even do the service they charged you for. Anhs 5 star rating on Google is no coincidence. Please, do not take my word for it. If there is anything car related you may need, give him a call. Better yet, take your car up there because he will not charge you whatsoever and tell you exactly what may be wrong or what you may need.If you do happen to try him out, bring cash because he cannot take cards yet and be sure to do him a favor and write a review. Lastly, Id like to say and sorry if I am being repetitive but, this is a real honest and hard working human being and he treats others like they should be treated. I dont usually type up detailed reviews on Google, but when I do it is worth my time.

Not only is the shop close to Tech but it also boasts some of the best prices in Lubbock. They will work with you for just about anything!
