Nice place ..Nice Team ..Nice customer Service..A little over price on some things. Like most places now of days ..but will work with you on there pricing..on certain things ..I think it would be a better place if there prices 🤔 would be a little cheaper ..or would be different and work on payment plan with there customers this is a idea ..for them ..to be different... other then that ..they would be my 2nd place to go ..

My brakes were scraping and smoking on the highway. I came in to get my vehicle looked at, charlie and Megan got me right in, took all my info and gave me a quote. Kayla and Tito lifted the car and walked me through exactly what was wrong and what parts I’d need. Everyone was very friendly and looked like they enjoy what they do. They were so awesome they gave me a discount and a ride home. Will definitely be coming back for the rest of the work to be done. I had come in after getting poor service from my last mechanic. I have recently fully registered my car in my name and was given new plates yet the screws has since rusted over and became stripped. I checked out NTB here in Lowell on 38 and Pete was incredibly cordial and quick to help me out. Pete was able to figure out the problem and help me out. Found my new place to get me car looked at! Highly recommend it

Wow! Such amazing service. They fit me in on a busy evening, and went up and above to help me out. They communicated what was going on, what my I needed done. They explained how each part worked with the wheel, brakes, etc. They showed me, the wear on on my parts. I have to say, they went up and above. Ive never had such amazing service locally. The team is a amazing, and friendly. Charlie was a gem to work with. Definitely going to continue to go back for maitence with them.A few plusses as well, location. I was able to grab a bite to eat across the street at McDonalds. Theres also two grocery stories, if you prefer to grab a snack instead. Amazing access right off the interstate. Change my whole set of the front brakes not a year ago, they told me lifetime warranty after few months the car started to make noisy when step on the break came back here guess what the warranty is not lifetime time for the rotors funny when i came here spend almost $900 it was life time.....for me this is scam with the clients...very disappointed

I’ve been to this location several times for different reasons; tires, breaks, oil changes, and battery among other things. The service is amazing, always treated with respect and great customer service. Management here is A+ as I go to other shops and feel taken advantage of or just another dollar sign because I’m female. I like it here because they take time to explain and show me the issues and all of my options. I will keep coming back for future repairs/service.

I always had great experiences with this location when it was NTB, before Mavis bought them out. This changed after my recent visit.Last Saturday morning, I woke up and realized that my rear passenger tire was completely flat, down to the rim. I was able to borrow my neighbors air compressor and fill up the tire. The tire seemed to hold the air. I then drove up to Mavis just to make sure there wasn’t anything truly wrong with the tire. I asked them to just check it over thoroughly to make sure there wasn’t a hole or a leak (I assumed that foul play was involved in the tire initially being flat - ie, somebody depressing the valve stem and letting the air out). They came back to me after checking the tire over and explained that the tire was perfectly fine. I was satisfied and drove off. I woke up the next morning and my tire was COMPLETELY flat again. This time, I didn’t have access to my neighbors air compressor, nor did I have enough air to make it to a gas station. In a pinch, I decided to go the (now) dreaded Fix-A-Flat route to get enough air into the tire to get it to a gas station. Once I got some air in the tire, I decided to take my truck to a DIFFERENT tire company. When the guy and I walked out to my truck, he almost immediately VISUALLY identified a significant hole in my tire, between the treads. Now that Fix-A-Flat was in my tire, it wasn’t repairable.I’ve now gone from what could have been a simple plug at $25, to having to get a brand new Goodyear Tire at $200+, due to the negligence of Mavis in the beginning. All because Mavis couldn’t identify a simple leak in my tire, which was clearly there from the beginning. I mean, when you’re a TIRE company, I would imagine that you’d be pretty good at identifying a leak in a tire. Especially since they “thoroughly” inspected it.

Megan and the gang are champs, got me on the road again with a new set of tires. Cant say a day when you wake up to a flat is the best day ever, but when it came to explaining the problem, and getting it done, they were great. Chris, Megan and everyone was extremely professional and quick.

Biggest regret was coming here for anything.Only thing I left with here with was more damages than I came in with. My issues were ONLY acknowledged (not resolved) after escalating to the district manager! Currently pursuing litigation action to resolve. FYI DONT SUBMIT REVIEWS prior to service regardless of what story they tell you!

Had a slow leak tire and since I have been to this location in Lowell before I came again. I was told they couldn’t find a leak when they looked at it so they just glued some edging down or what not, this was on Tuesday I think. I was there for two hours. No charge for the “gluing”. Wednesday I still have a leaky tire but I don’t have time to bring it in. I bring it in Thursday, with my same problem, leaky tire. I’m there another two hours. This time they think it’s my sensor because I told them the sensor light is on for the tire. I presume they don’t believe me about the leaky tire because they go ahead and change a working sensor for supposedly $100 for free. And they just send me on my way. Thursday they did nothing to the leaky just replaced the sensor in two hours. Friday comes and my tire is still leaking wouldn’t you know. I call them and bring it in again. Each time I brought it in I spoke to Charlie. This time I spoke to a young girl. I asked to speak to Charlie. It seemed like he was avoiding me. He had to go to the bathroom first. So I waited. He was shocked the tire was still leaking but told me the mechanic forgot to scan the sensor to the car or something like that and that is why it wouldn’t work. I’m now irritated but I’m keeping my cool. This is the third time for a simple leaky tire. The young female comes out and wants to show me the elusive leak now and so I go look at it and there is a pretty clear and evident leak on the tire. Of course they can’t fix it and I need a new tire. But of course. I asked why they didn’t find it before but got some talking in circles so I tuned out. Charlie who I had been working with all along is MIA. We pick out a new tire and they work on it. When it’s time to pay I thought Charlie would come apologize and maybe discount the tire and try to save face. But instead I got the young female checking me out. So I asked for Charlie who stated he gave me a free sensor (mine was not broken) but he said it was “near the leak”. Yeah so I’m totally unimpressed with not only the service of trying to fix my tire but also the customer service. If that was the hole all along then they should have seen it before on day one. It was significant. Day 2 they should not have replaced a working sensor. There should never have been a day 3 but here we are. I would avoid this place and go somewhere that knows about tires for real.05/13/21 update: So I took my car to the dealer and somehow out of the blue after Mavis replaced a low tire pressure sensor, an ABS sensor became faulty and is why I was having problems with my brakes on the highway. Are the two issues related? Who knows, most likely. I didnt have a problem with the brakes until I took it to Mavis. So my big new update is when I took it to the dealer they noticed that one of my tires was the wrong size. It was a 55 instead of a 45 like the rest. I called Mavis and made an appointment and they knew who I was when I called. Charlie was at the counter when I came in and was surprised to see me. I told him yup I am here because I have the wrong size tire on my car. Whats really awesome is the paperwork I have says 45 but the tire itself was a 55. They replaced the tire and sent me on my way, no paperwork nothing. This place is a joke, really! How do you put the wrong size tire on the car? How many times did I have to go back to Mavis for a leaky tire? Seriously. AVOID. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I visited Mavis Tires and Brakes in Lowell, MA 12/06/2020. I had a nail in one of my tires that caused a slow leak that needed addressing. I walked into the Lowell location and was courteously met by Megan who immediately got the ball rolling. She was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I also mentioned that I would like my vehicles battery tested, to which Megan explained their technicians always do that anyways as part of their multi point inspection when servicing a vehicle; that thoroughness is great. After inquiring about a tire rotation and finding that it would only cost an additional $20 I opted to have that done.When my vehicle was finished being serviced I agreed to come back after 25 miles so the lug nuts could be re-tourqued. During that 25 mile test drive, I noticed a significant vibration in the steering wheel at highway speeds. Upon bringing my vehicle back to the Lowell location for the lugs to be re-tourqued, Charlie explained to be me that I would likely need front balancing on the front 2 tires. Charlie and Peter discovered the tire place I recently purchased my 4 tires from (not a Mavis location) did not balance the tires (I was not aware of this). I then was kindly offered a discount on front balancing by Charlie, who was extremely professional and down-to-earth, and opted to go with a front balancing job.Upon completion of the front balancing on my vehicle, Peter, a technician who serviced my vehicle, actually went on a test drive with me for a decent chunk of time to ensure the vibration in the steering wheel was no longer present. Peter was absolutely awesome to interact with. I really enjoyed chatting with him on our short drive and getting to know him a little. As it turns out we are both military veterans and connected as a result. Peter even picked up on an unrelated issue with the trucks starter/electrical system that my own mechanic never even picked up on. Peter then gave me the name and contact information of a nearby garage that would be able to take care of me.I really feel like Megan, Charlie and Peter at Mavis Tire and Brakes in Lowell, MA treated me like family. I would recommend their services to anyone who is looking for reliable, prompt service at an honest price. And, as a plus, theyre one of the only tire places open on Sunday. I went to get my car fixed because I heard a weird jiggly sound coming from the front. When I got my car back it sounded the exact same, I felt like I completely wasted my money and time. Now, I have to pay more money to take it somewhere else to get that sound fixed properly. Very disappointed!!

Was asked a number of questions that the front desk representative should not of asked in light that I called ahead and was in the system. Was then advised that system have two in stock on the computer, but they did not have tire in stock. Representative at front desk did not apologize once needs to customer service training!!!Hopefully management reads and takes note so that another customer does not have a similar experience.

So i went for a quote to the tewksbury,mass location spoke with charles and he gave me a quote for 2 specific things to be fixed on my vehicle.I left and bought the parts myself and came back to get the 2 specific issues done.So i had to tell the rep at the desk what i was there for even though i had an appointment and it all shouldve been priced and detailed from the day before when i spoke with charles.((redflag)) 2nd after retelling me whole situation to the rep she came up with a whole new figure of the cost and it was double the price i was just told by charles without me buying my own parts.How do i get a costly quote with parts and labor, i go get parts myself and came back and now price is doubled from original?!!I honestly feel he pushed prices up because i went and bought my own parts. I feel hes a con artist and literally will talk you into buying bogues parts and addons just to get the business. What a wonderful team. I suddenly had a fairly rapid leak in one of my front tires. I was able to get in at 7:00 pm (cant believe they are open until 8:00 pm). They patched it and got me on my way in less than 15 minutes. And they were also very pleasant, nice an professional, even that late in the day. Great crew.

This place doesn’t deserved any stars, went there 2 weeks for 4 tires change. If only I read the previous review here first, I wouldn’t go here, there is plenty of other bad reviews. Took 2 hours to change and tires, which is Understandable, when got done, we checkout and only had a quick look at the new tires before we left, of course we wouldn’t think of anything wrong!! Got home my husband check it out again and notice on the rims there was half circular scratches, if it was only 1, we wouldn’t make a fuzz, just thinking might be something else, but we look at all there other rims and they all got same kind of scratch, call them and they said to go back, and of course they look at it with the manager and said it’s not them, clearly when we see all scratch like that it’s from the machine they using for that service when they change our tires, employees there is not careful enough with the service they are doing, and manager there do not take responsibility either. Becareful going there especially for this same service your rims can be scratch also!! Obviously they dont care, it’s not their car!!Had to add to this review!! When I was done writing above, I scroll down to read other ones and see 3 other reviews about the Rims being scratch!!! Jeeses, whatever machine they are using is not doing the job correctly and damaging other parts!!

My daughter got a flat tire and didnt have a spare. She had it towed to NTB in Lowell, MA and they squeezed her in and replaced the tire quickly! Awesome, pleasant service!

Waited for 1.5 hours for oil change and then I was told I have to wait for another 2 hours! That is with online appointment I made in advance. I guess the appointment doesn’t mean anything here and they feel like they just can waist 5 hours of my time waiting for nothing. Took my car and left.

If it were possible, I would give the staff 10 stars! They are absolutely fantastic. I went there close to closing time tonight, and they stayed late to help me. They helped me select the best tires for my vehicle, fitted them, kept me updated on progress. Outstanding service, and would not hesitate to recommend!

Really great place to get tires and alignment done. The cheapest tires around are at this place. Trust me I have searched everywhere and wasnt able to get two tires for $169 like I was able to here. However some of their prices for other services is insane. I do suggest to always look around before you decide on their asking price.

Had an appointment for an oil change. The person who greeted me and took my info was very friendly. Waited a bit till they took my car . It took well over an hour to change my oil . When it was done the mechanic pulled it out, parked it outside and left the slip on one of the 3 counters . There was someone waiting on a customer at one of the other counters. A few minutes later someone came out, someone who I had seen wait on customers earlier, so I figured he would check me out and I would be on my way. Nope ! He looked at the slip, looked for my car outside the window, then put the slip down and walked away. After about 10-15 more minutes I get up and go over to the counter where the slip is and thats when I notice that my car is sitting in the parking lot in a spot close to the street with the window down and the engine running. Needless to say I was not happy. Anyone could have walked by, jumped in and drove away. Finally the person at the other counter noticed me standing there holding my bill and asks if I need help .I tell him that my car has been sitting out there for a while with the engine running and I just want to pay my bill and leave. He said he would be right with me . He came over. I paid and left. I cant believe that they knew my car was out there running, the lights were on so it was easy to tell, and did nothing till I got up and said something.

The new management very bad, so rude just want to get your money.I paid for my car alignment and some how they couldn’t do it and they told me i have to buy some stuff first and go to install it and then come back.. i did all of that and when i came back they still doesn’t wanna do it. They are just unprofessional enough to do it... i wish if i did it somewhere else. I highly suggest not to deal with them

Amazing customer service! I had a very large screw in one of my tires that we weren’t able to patch. When a replacement wasn’t in stock, JC and the techs offered to swap out with my spare at no charge. They were helpful and honest in helping me find a new set of tires at a reasonable price.

Great service and fair pricing. Winter tires are not cheap matter where you shop. These are a Winter Safety Purchase. I bought two (2) sets of four Blizzak Winter tires and pricing was competitive. If you wait for snow, inventory goes down and best products in your size become unavailable. The manager (Shane), Chris and crew were excellent. They ate very experienced and provide top level service. You need to plan ahead. Dont expect to walk in cold and have a set of the Top Three winter tires installed in 15 minutes. This is not McDonalds and neither is any other tire dealer. Do some research, call ahead and plan well. These guys will meet your expectations.

I went there to change my winter tires for the regular season ones. I had the tires already. I waited more than 2hrs for them to change it. Then they want me to change the prongs of the tires because it wasnt from the car. Ive had my car since new and they told me the prongs doesnt belong to the car. They Really want to sell, they are not about customer service. Really bad service, never coming back again.

In my experience the staff was well informed an polite. I came in to get snow tires and wanted them on a second set of wheels, which I got somewhere else. They were the wrong wheels, but it was 100% my fault. This caused a small delay in the installation, but the staff communicated well. More expensive than I wanted but comparable to other places Ive used. The facility was clean and comfortable to wait in.

Needed a new tire, done in about 10 minutes from arrival to being finished. They were super nice. The waiting area was nice even if i didnt get to use it.

Dont come here. I recently tried to get an alignment done, and they did not align the rear wheels because I was told they werent adjustable. They are adjustable, with Shims, which is part of the standard kit for a place that does tire alignments. A business should not do 50 % of a service that it says it does. I took it somewhere else, and paid twice for a tire alignment, after paying for it here. Do not do business with this shop.

I heard a flapping noise and found out my tire was literally coming apart, and another was split. I called to see if theyd take me since it was 20 minutes before they closed and JC told me to come down, even though he was alone. He stayed late on a Saturday in order to make sure I was safe, did a great job, and found play in the upper ball joint while he was at it. Price on the tires was good too. I tipped, you should too! Very grateful for the help.

Very bad customer service.I arrived there 5pm and find 2 young men just staring on their mobile phones after a while they asked me what I wanted.They told that someone who was gonna help me was, outside so I had to wait.After about 15min when he came he asked me what I wanted or if Ive already been served. I told him no, that I needed alignment done.He replied to me that the technician are not present and will be in the next day and that was it..... I left. My concern is that he didnt bother ask me what time can I return or take my contacts and names at least to establish customer relationship or something.But for him that was it! I was there few weeks ago but some representatives were very helpful and informative like a young tall African-American guy is very good but the Cambodian tall fellow is going to drive away customers.I ended up going to Goodyear too bad.

Been here since 9am had appointment for 9am. Its now 11:40 and four tires are still not on ? Was told theyre having hard time putting air in my tires ? Seriously? Dont come here. Worst service ever !

The crew, JC, Dave and Todd went above and beyond to help my son. We were moving him to his apartment when he destroyed a rim and blew two tires in a construction zone on 495. JC discussed tires with my husband on the phone while I was driving there with one to replace. They replaced the tire and then waited for our return with my sons car, which took awhile. It was almost closing time and we said we would come back Sunday so they could leave. All 3 gentlemen stayed after hours on a Saturday to balance and install all 4 tires. Genuinely nice and extremely professional. A MUST business to go to for your tires!

Embarrassing service from this shop. I had a booked appointment for 1pm for a tire rotation and balance and it took 2 hours for them to finish. After I receive they forgot the most important thing to do in a tire shop and that was to fill my tires with air. I had a tire pressure light on so it was obvious and cannot be missed. When I came back in they said they filled it with air and a couple of my sensor is broken and they can sell it to me for $65 each wheel. I decided to leave because I knew they just forgot and just did not want to admit it. I went to a gas station to fill up my tires and the tire light went off. My sensor is perfectly fine and they tried to rip me off. I never needed my tires balance but, I got it done to just make its fine and done. Turns out that was a mistake and now I have a huge vibration in my steering wheel. I came back the next day to explain it to them their mistakes and they were very rude to me for calling out their mistakes. Then said both of my rear wheels is warped which they did not say the day before. I feel like this placed is just new building with new inexperienced workers. The MANAGER refused a refund and offered to redo it. I refused to have the work redone because I think it is too difficult for them to balance my wheels. Hell they forgot to put air in them. DO NOT COME HERE!! I reported them to the BBB.

I was on the way back to NY from NH when I heard grinding in my rear 2 tires. It was Sunday evening and NTB was closing soon but Lloyd and Matt provided me with the best care and service. They were super nice and attentive towards me. They found the part I needed and stayed later to make sure my car could get back on the road safely. These guys went above and beyond on a Sunday night.I really appreciate the work that they did! These guys at NTB will take care of you.

Was very surprised of how good the customer service was here. I went to numerous other tire places to simply get my TPMS reset and all of them told me I would have to wait more than 2 hours. I came here and was helped within minutes and once I was the whole process took less than 5 minutes. Outstanding customer service and shout out to JC for helping so quickly.

Great service and very professional staff. Many thanks to David for finding the problems with our tire and fixing it so quickly! Highly recommend this place if you have a problem with your car.

Put 4 new tires on one of my cars and ordered a new wheel for my other due to it not balancing correctly and vibrating at highway speeds. They told me to allow 3 to 4 days for the wheel to come in. I called a week later they told me that they see the order on the computer and will be here tomorrow. I waited about a week and fed up with my car vibrating on the highway walked into the store to find out why the wheel was not there only to find out I must have forgot to submit the order well why was I told a week ago that it will be here tomorrow? So I walked out went to town fair down the road and ended up getting my wheel and 4 new snow tires installed 2 days later for way cheaper than I would have here..To top it off one of the tires I got at ntb already got a flat. Horrible tires, horrible service.

Fast and easy to get tire work done! The lounge is comfortable and the staff is welcoming and friendly! Glad to have NTB as apart of our community!
