Installation was excellent and garage doors are of high quality. Very professional, kept us updated in changes with manufacturers so we could make decisions. Ended up going with different doors due to wait time from a Canada supplier changing. The doors we ended up going with were cheaper and we ended up liking them better than the doors we had originally picked out. We ended up going with their recommendation.Maribeth is very responsive and on top of things in the office. Chris was very easy to work with and very knowledgeable about their products. It is refreshing to have a company ask you about how the install went and how we like the doors as a follow up verses most companies who don’t follow up or just follow up for payment.To sum it up, a small business offering great customer service who make sure their customers are happy.

I was looking for a company that could help me with my garage door situation after I tried to fix it myself and made things a lot worse. I needed help really quickly as my cars were trapped inside my bent garage door. I had already booked an appointment with Precision Door for later in the day, but decided to call Lewis after reading some reviews. Lewis was able to send someone over to help almost immediately. They fixed everything within about 30 minutes (I assumed that it would take much longer considering all the damage). Even better, I really couldnt believe the price. It was significantly cheaper than I would have expected from Precision Door as Ive used them in the past. I will surely be using Lewis again if I run into any issues in the future.

Upon inspection, he immediately found that the electric eye had gotten out of its position and that the noisy door opening was something that needed a quick remedy to fix it. Tracy was the serviceman who repaired my garage door. He did not sale me any parts that were not needed, and completed the work in a timely manner. Tracy was kind and professional. I will recommend Tracy to anyone who needs assistance with garage door repairs.

Jeff did a great job. He was able to install an 8x7 insulated steelback vinyl door, a beltless Liftmaster opener, torsion spring system, a new opener base and a wireless keypad, as well as a battery backup, new trim etc for less than bigger companies quoted me (not including battery backup or a keypad). He threw in nylon rollers. Absolute Overhead wanted $300 extra for them. To top it off he was professional and timely and knew what he was doing. Quote took 10 minutes, the actual replacement took about 3 hours and was done by the same person.

I replaced my rotting wooden garage door with an insulated steel door. I spent a lot of time researching before I bought. Most places will sell you cheap junk and if you havent done your homework, you wont know the difference until your door and your parts dont last. Lewis was willing to sell me 30,000 cycle cables when other companies wanted to sell me 10,000 cycle cables. They were willing to put up two torsion cables instead of one. This will protect my garage door from crinkling at the bottom if a cable ever does break. All the other companies told me I didnt need two cables. Lewis sold me thicker hinges when other places wanted to sell thin ones. They sold me wheels with ball bearings. Some other companies dont have ball bearings in their wheels, but you wont know this unless you ask. I wanted two windows in the center of the door. All the other companies would only sell me no windows or four windows. So I like the product they sold me much better than what other companies were selling.However, I have deducted one star because the salesman, Chris, told me the warranty was transferable. After they got my money and I got the paperwork, I found out this was not the case. I have deducted a second star because they original brought the wrong door. I understand mistakes happen. But when they brought the replacement, they hadnt yet cut the holes out and put the windows in. Rather than doing this at their shop, the guy spent 90 minutes in my open garage working on it in 90 plus degree weather and other contractors were also here working on the house. It was a bit inconvenient. The installer was a nice guy. I still recommend this company.

Recently I contacted Lewis Door to help with a repair on my Fathers garage door opener because it was loud. I wansn’t sure if it needed to be replaced or just serviced, so I was a little nervous. Usually companies will try to nickel and dime you but not in this case. The service man was very professional and extremely helpful. He made some adjustments, gave me some information that would help me extend the life of the opener, and more than fixed the issue. My Father and I are extremely thankful for Lewis Door and will be recommending them to everyone we know for service or even a new door. Thank you!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...I had this company come out and replace the entire spring system on my garage door back in September 2014. The door worked fine for just over 3 months and then on Jan 8, 2015 the entire cable system on one side unraveled and I couldnt shut my door. I called them and a technician named Jeff came out that day and fixed it. My wife was home at the time and when I returned she said they had charged us $125.00 to fix the door. I couldnt believe it. I called them that day and explained my disappointment in being charged. They said they would check into it and get back with me. I waited a week and no call. I checked my bank statement and they had cashed my check. I spoke with a Don Lewis from the company this morning Jan 16, 2015 and he stated the door must have hit something in order for the cable to do that. I told him I had security cameras surrounding my home including one on the garage door in question and I went back 3 three weeks after the door broke and seen the door had come down on nothing. He stated the 3 month warranty was up and there was nothing he could do. I HIGHLY recommend not using this company. They will not stand by their work. Cables should not start unraveling after 3 months. I notified the BBB and they are sending me a complaint form. I will be filing immediately with them and Angies list. Nobody should have to fork out $350.00 for a new spring system for their garage door only to have to pay another $125.00 4 months later because the system thet put in failed. Its wrong and its not fair to the customer.
