Gilkey did a fabulous job! We were so pleased with both the windows and the installation process. The installers themselves were top notch. They were wonderful to have on property and took great care during set up, installation and clean up. The windows are fabulous and have cut down vastly on noise and improved insulation. Great quality and final appearance. Our point person, Kelly, was knowledgeable in what to suggest and I’m glad we took his advice on several changes he recommended. He made sure everything came together in an end product we are thrilled with. We would highly recommend Gilkey!

We used Gilkey to have our rear entry door and front door replaced. Love both of them. Brings in so much more light and the rear sliding door makes it so much easier to position the kitchen table. The front door is everything we imagined. Love it! Tom Bush did a great job helping us pick it out and Steven Long was great to work with for the install.

Gilkey stands by their products! No hassles. No hoops to jump thru. We bought a house that had Gilkey windows installed 15 years ago. Some of the seals on the windows had gone bad and the windows were cloudy. I called Gilkey of Louisville and made an appt with Paul for him to come see the windows in question. He arrived on time and was very professional. He ordered the replacement panes and a few weeks later he called to schedule the install. Again he arrived on time and was very professional. My old windows with new panes look like new. My old windows still look like new too! I dont see this kind of service very much these days. Gilkey offered a great product, sold by knowledgeable people, who explained the features and advantages available with their products. The installers were employees of Gilkey instead of contractors, which is a requirement in our opinion. The communication from ordering to the installation was great. The installation was smooth, professional, and efficient.

They had my windows lookin right cuh i got some jesus type stained glass on my BEDROOM WINDOW thats so cool (ps W employees especially the one with red hair that be sweeping and stuff)

Gilkey Window Co. salesman was well informed and answered all our questions completely. A hands-on product demo (using a scale model) helped with our decision too. Costs very competitive. Time estimates and impact of COVID on their system for production/delivery/installation were realistic. Installation of 10 windows in our home took two skilled & experienced installers only one day. Installers called ahead for arrival time. Old window removal and new window installation was done very well. Installer attention to detail (squaring frame precisely for perfect window opening/closing and seal as well as silicone sealing inside and out) was really done quite satisfactorily. Altogether our experience (and about 2 weeks after install) with Gilkey Window Co. has been very pleasing.

Gilkey installed our bay window 10 years ago and it is still going strong. Recently the crank handles finally gave out. Paul, the repair tech, came out and replaced them in 5 mins. He also was kind enough to give me some tips to maintain the window mechanics. Great company, great people!

I am very satisfied with the new windows I purchased from Gilkey Window Company. Kelly did a great job of educating me during the sales call and Tom did a great job of getting my install scheduled when promised. Andrew and Nathan were my install team. They arrived on time and got right to work. They worked very efficiently, payed close attention to the details and cleaned up afterwards well. They had to come back to finish the the outside trim because it started raining, but they were back early the next morning and finished up quickly. What a huge difference the new windows have made! No more drafts, and very minimal noise from nearby I-71. I had Gilkey do two of my previous homes and their superior service and product had me call them again. I highly recommend Gilkey Window Company!!!!

We ordered in September and installed in February. It was SO WORTH THE WAIT. Install very professional and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of the windows. You can’t beat a lifetime guarantee. They aren’t the cheapest window on the market but you get what you pay for. We immediately noticed a difference in how our home retains heat. We will be back!

We had all the window in our home replaced with Gilkey windows 10-15 years ago and Gilkey has stayed true to all aspects of their warranty. A few years ago they replaced the screens for all of our windows promptly . Today Paul one of the service tech came to our home to fix a window spring. Paul was on time, very professional and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. We have been very pleased with Gilkey windows and highly recommend!

I wanted to wait a couple weeks after my window install was completed before I reviewed. We had several window companies come and give us estimates for windows in our entire house which included two large bow windows in the front. The estimate from Gilkey came in right in line with a couple and a fair bit cheaper that two companies and the window that I was getting from Gilkey was a better product. Kelly Lockman, from Gilkey, helped us with choosing the right windows to replace the old bow windows in the front of the house, 100% improvement on curb appeal. Once the windows were manufactured we scheduled the install and off we went. I can not compliment the installation crew enough, my house is not the easiest house to work on with lots of ladder trips but they knocked out the work in 2 1/2 days, I was quite impressed.We have not received our first electricity bill yet with the windows installed but I will be surprised if there isn’t quite an energy savings and we have already noticed an increase in our comfort. 10/10 would go with Gilkey again if we move and require new windows or doors.

Terrific service and an excellent job. They were in and out, and left no traces that they had been there at all other than the pristine windows they had left behind. When we decided to replace our front entry door this spring we considered a number of companies, but we had a patio slider replaced with a Gilkey slider a number of years ago and it had been an excellent experience. We have needed to have the slider adjusted twice and both times Gilkey had service professionals at our home the next day who solved the problem. So, we decided to go with Gilkey again. The installers were very good and friendly. When they came across a problem, they quickly knew what to do. The only issue for me was not finishing on time. Three days is not long enough to replace 10 normal windows, 2 large bay windows and 2 sets of patio doors. The work was done very well and clean up was good. I highly recommend Gilkey.

It’s now middle of October and we have not turn on our furnace plus our AC unfit got a break from the hot summer. Noise level from outside was cut in half if not more. A little more expensive than other companies; however, the salesman, Tom Bush, knew the products and had a vision for my dilemma. I replaced a set of French doors leading to my deck with a standard size door and window. The other companies that came to give an estimate had no samples and were not able to do the project as I wanted, since their products are not custom made. Tom made my request a reality. Everything happened within the time frame he promised. When the two gentlemen came to install the new door and window, they were just as great as the salesman. I am so happy I decided to use Gilkey Windows. As an added bonus, my monthly electric bill has improved too. I would not hesitate to use Gilkey Windows in the future. Just had my front door and storm door installed on Jan. 14, 2021. It is beautiful and Steven Long was the best installer ever. Very precise with installation and very professional. I recently called to see if they sold replacement windows or repaired them because all the gilkey windows in my house have broken their seal and are discolored, and one of them has even cracked on its own with changes in weather and the lady who answered the phone just said we dont sell single windows and then hung up on me...how rude! I couldnt even ask if they were covered under the lifetime warranty. Well i guess Ill just have to buy better windows from another company.

Great company with service above and beyond.

I called the service department at Gilkey because it looked like the glass in one of my outside doors had lost the gas inside. Justin had the guys come out and take a look and they measured for a replacement. It took a few weeks for the glass to come in but they were able to come out quickly and install it. Doug the installation manager also stopped by to make sure things were right with the final install. Over all everything looks great and I would use Gilkey again.

The windows are very high quality well constructed from top grade materials material. The crew that installed them did an Outstanding job they knew exactly what to do and how to do it they cleaned up all the debris and went over how to operate the windows and the warranty could not have asked for a more professional job. I had to be my own subcontractor. Had I not monitored and insisted things be done well, not just good enough the outcome would have been questionable. Several wrong items ordered requiring additional over a thousand + money from us to get what we asked for in original quote. Why we had to spend extra money for their not listening, I dont know. I was referred to Gilkey by a family friend, but I must admit Im a bit disappointed. After I inquired about having a tech come to my home for an estimate on window glass repair, I was asked if my window were a Gilkey window. When I replied no, I was told Id be better off calling a glass repair company because they may be cheaper. I wasnt aware the only customers this company served were ones with their windows/glass. Whether it would be cheaper or not, thats a decision I couldve made after my requested estimate.
