Purchased flooring from Korfhage Flooring. About three weeks latter, the installation crew showed up and within 3 hours, I had a new kitchen and dinette floor. The crew was very professional, neat and I had no issues. They had to cut down two doors so that they would not drag the new floor. They did this without any issues. I recently had all my flooring replaced by Korfhage Floor Covering and it turned out fantastic. The salesman came to my house to discuss my choices measure and later provided an estimate. The decision was an easy one as they have done work for me and my family before.Lucky for me they were able to get my floor choice and on their schedule quickly. Flawless and professional all with competitive pricing. What more could you ask for? This was my first time replacing old hardwood floors with a home. The project was way more than I expected but the Korfhage team made it easier for me. Gary Williams, his dad and Austin came in and put their expertise to work. With unexpected challenges, with the old floors, me, my dog and teenager all basically in their way throughout the project, they didnt skip a beat. Not ideal for them but they made it a point to go the extra mile and make sure I was not stressed out! So again, they exceeded my expectations in every way. My floors are stunning. Custom shoe molding had to be carefully removed and put right back together. It was like a puzzle. They are true craftsman and the nicest guys! It looks amazing. For the past few years friends and family have recommended Korfhage Flooring to me. This year I needed to replace the 20 year old carpet in my condo.I called Korfhage and within a day a very knowledgeable staff person ( Shannon) came to my home. He brought samples for me, measured my rooms and stairway and gave me a price quote right then.My carpet was installed yesterday by two experienced, very professional young men. They completed this entire job in one day. They moved furniture and belongings and made sure I could continue my work while they were here. They then cleaned up all debris and carpet remnants. They were great to work with!I highly recommend Korfhage. They made this whole process which I had been dreading very easy, very affordable, and very fast.

Korfhage is a family business that has been part of the Louisville community for a long time. Thats important to me. I suppose its possible we might have found different selection, quicker service, or lower prices with another dealer somewhere, but vibe matters... and they have it.I really dont like giving five stars on review things like this, because I an advocate for bell curves and believe theres always room to grow and get better.However, Gary and Brianna did a fantastic job taking care of us. They certainly had the selection, inventory, and connections to get our home carpeted the way we wanted (to me... getting the job done earns you the first three stars). Brianna seemed to be the organized one of the pair, who handled all the paperwork, scheduling, and payment. Gary was incredibly knowledgeable, conducted the on-site measurements and appraisal, and handled all of our questions... even the tangents we came up with. Hes a talker... Im sure hes hard to keep on a schedule, but that earned the fourth star, easily. (Plus he was willing to share some good leads for us regarding other non-flooring related projects)What REALLY matters to me is communication. Brianna brought home the fifth star by keeping us up to speed on any changes to the schedule and following up diligently without us having to dig with our own phone calls. Feb/Mar 2021... Covid and a snowstorm changed everything around for everybody, schedule-wise, but she stayed on top of everything... excellent job!!!The installation was done very well, and were incredibly happy with our new carpet. Where do I start... going into my project I had so many thoughts, but they were all over the place. I started my research at Korfhage’s because of the name. Not only were the prices reasonable but the team was very knowledgeable about the products. I was willing to spend a little more because of that name and the guarantee of the products. My first visit was a great experience Brianna and Gary were so very patient with me and spent as much time as I needed. I never, not once felt rushed or felt they were just trying to make a sale. In 2007, I needed help matching up some existing hardwood flooring in a house I just bought. I called 7-8 stores in town and no one would give me the time of day. My last call was to Doug. I walked into their store and someone immediately wanted to assist me to pick out a runner for my stairs. I was looking for something other than carpet. I found exactly what I was looking for (its called sissel) and its going to be very durable and fits perfectly with the decor for my AirBNB. Between Tabitha, Patrick and Brandon, the installer, everyone was fantastic. Brandon wasnt familiar with this product. He did the research and called the manufacturer to get details on installation. The stairs look fantastic and I will go back to Korfhage for future flooring needs.

I am unable to describe how VERY pleased I am with my engineered hardwood floor. It is absolutely STELLAR! Imagine my pleasant surprise when browsing the many samples, the owner came to assist me and offered to come to my hone that very afternoon to measure! The following day, a delightful staff member, Bree, phoned me with the estimate and also followed through with a written estimate in the mail. Long story short they not only put new luxury vinyl plank in our livingroon but now putting it in our master bed room and walk in closet as well. Save yourself the headache of going to numerous flooring stores by learning from our experience. We went to every store we knew to go to. Right off the bat, we knew we were not going to buy flooring from a place that did not have their own installers. That eliminated a couple of places. Then we learned that flooring stores in high rent areas charged high rent prices. DUH...we should have known. We were getting down to having to settle UNTIL we just happened to see Korfhage. KORFHAGE...of course. Theyve been around forever (4 generations, according to their website) and they are not in a high rent area. We felt confident when we walked in the door. Patrick Korfhage came out and measured our floor, told us the best luxury vinyl for our basement redo, we picked out our favorite and BOOM...we have a great new, beautiful floor at a lesser price. I cant say enough about Tabitha who works in the office with Patrick. She knows her stuff and is VERY easy to work with, making it a joy to maneuver the ins and outs of having your home in a state of disrepair in order to make it just as you want it. The installers were by far the absolute best weve ever had in our many years of home ownership. Brandon and Ricky were at our home 4 days which is generally hard to deal with but that wasnt the case this time. They make a great team, are friendly and knowledgeable and cleaned up their mess everyday. Our floor is spectacular. Brandon explained the situation and while we expected a real mess to the walls to have fixed afterwards, we are left with very minimal repair that our painter can take care of.I have to admit I was concerned about the stain color of our new steps matching our floor. They were to be red oak treads and while we thought we were supposed to pick out our stain color, that was not the case. We were supposed to leave that decision to Brandon. We were not comfortable with that AT ALL. Brandon made a suggestion, we reluctantly agreed and I worried about it for a few days. The day came when they were bringing the finished treads and when I first saw them, I got choked up. They were beautiful. When Brandon laid a tread on the flooring, I had to hold back the tears. The stain could not be a better match to the floor. I wish someone had told me how talented he is with stain to save me the uncertainty and discomfort of turning that decision over to someone else.We will need new flooring upstairs in a bit. I had an awesome experience with the owner Doug who came to my house with samples and take measurements to Breanna that updated me on when my floors were in and installment date. Korfhage Flooring did an awesome job! We had water damage to an existing wood floor. We talked with several companies that told us the entire floor needed to be replaced. After seeing the floor, Patrick Korfhage thought Korfhage Flooring could replace only the damaged section. It wasnt a big job, but it needed to be completed by a skilled person and Justin was just the person to make it look like new. Thanks to Tabatha, Patrick, and Justin for taking the time and effort to satisfy our needs.

I cannot recommend Korfhage Floor Covering enough. I was really nervous about getting our floors done because we have in the past had a really bad experience with a renovation in our home. Korfhage Floor Covering really went above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted from our floor. As soon as the floor was finished, we scheduled them to come out and do our kitchen backsplash and are planning on having our steps refinished. The did amazing work and we will be using them again and again in the future. We are especially thankful for Tabitha and Patrick for all there hard work and constant communication

Even with all of the current madness the carpet buying process was very smooth. Shannon arrived on time with samples and made the process of selecting new carpet easy. I had an estimate within 24 hours, and was for 3 rooms, hallway and steps. A lot of closets and set backs in the rooms.Kayla scheduled installation and arranged the payments. She was very accommodating and pleasant to work with.Then the installers arrived right on time Friday morning and worked hard all day including moving heavy furniture and replacing it. the crew of three completed in one day and did a beautiful job. Although the job was scheduled for Friday and Saturday they completed by Friday afternoon. They were very respectful on my home and left every thing in great shape.Just for reference they installed almost 97 square yards of carpet.I will be calling Korfhage for my next flooring job.

I am a very picky project manager. I learned a few lessons while working with Korfhages refinisher. I wasnt ready on day one of when their refinisher showed up. I didnt communicate precise start times well enough and for that, I paid the price in project duration. However, Korfhage worked with me. Upon project completion there was a few contentions I had for scope of the service. After negotiations I am 100% satisfied. I can be too demanding compared to a usual project manager, but I will not hesitate to recommend Korfhage as they do put the customer first.

I recommended using Korfhage to install a luxury vinyl plank floor in the clubhouse of a condo community and Im so glad I did. The floor is beautiful and the service was extraordinary. All down the line, each person we dealt with was helpful and patient, the latter being very important given it took time to get everyone in the Association on the same page. The folks in the office (sales) were helpful in selecting the best color for the area which made the Association Board and me comfortable to invest the dollars. Best of all, the installers were pleasant, thoughtful and wanted to ensure we were happy with the work. I highly recommend Korfhage!

We love our new floors. The team that did it was so great and did a fantastic job. Very friendly company - everyone was super helpful and our floor turned out better than I even imagined it. These guys are the best. Doug Korfage always has the customer in mind. I’ve used them for both hardwood and carpeting and they did an excellent job on both. We have had our carpet for over a year, close to two actually, and I called him the other day because we have a small spot at a seam coming unglued. Not only is he coming to fix it, but he remembered my wife and I and exactly what they had installed. He even mentioned my dog.... amazing how in touch he is with his customers, personal service doesn’t get any better then this. If you are considering purchasing from a big box store, please do yourself a favor and at least reach out to Korfhage’s first. Not only were they able to beat the quotes I had from Lowe’s and Home Depot, there service is second to none. Try and call a big box store to get a problem fixed one month after install, much less almost two years and see how far you get.

Im very happy with my new floor. Patrick and Tabatha were more than helpful with suggestions and advice on cleaning my floor. The installers were excellent and did a great job. After they finished they cleaned up and no one would ever know they had been there. I would recommend Korfhage to all my friends.
