Did an amazing job on my car.. got the remote engine starter installed (the one with the app) and the staff did a good job of explaining my options and also didn’t push to make a decision. Took about 3-4 hours to install. It works really well. No issues so far. I am happy with the purchase. Definitely recommend this place.. certainly economical than the prices quoted by dealers to install the remote engine starter.

This is actually the second time that I’ve use this shop. Both times were for remote starter installations. I had my last remote starter installed about five years ago, never had a problem out of it. So I knew that when it was time to get this vehicle a remote starter that I would be returning to Xtreme Audio. They are always willing to answer questions over the phone and give you an accurate price quote when possible over the phone. Definitely won’t hesitate to return if in the future I need any work that can be performed here. Service is quick and friendly. They were also $100 less than their competitors on Shelbyville Road.

Over the years, Ive had multiple stereos installed in various vehicles. Ive used other shops in the past, but nothing ever stood out from those experiences. We brought our daughter’s car in to have an Apple Play unit installed. I got a call from them later in the morning letting us know that the rear tire was flat due due to a screw having punctured the rear passenger tire. They placed a patch on it and inflated the tire before installing the radio. While I’m very pleased with the installation, I’m more impressed with what they did with the tire. It allowed us the chance to get the car to a tire shop and get it repaired. That’s great customer service! I’m beyond impressed and would recommend this business!

Brought in my 2021 chevy trailblazer in today for some kicker subs and two kicker amps one for the subs and one for all the door speakers. These folks are very knowledgeable and helped me alot . I was very nervous about doing this cause its a brand new car. They answered all my questions and took me from being nervous to feeling really good about it. Outstanding customer service!, for being 1300 miles away in Colorado, Tony was great communicating his recommendations verbally and visually with photos. Brought the car in for a pesky after-market radio problem. They were able to diagnose and fix it in a few hours. They gave me plenty of options and were honest about them. They fixed it for probably half what the dealership would have charged. Friendly, funny, fast, and communicative.

Great place. Came in to glance at a few items id thought about purchasing. And the staff was friendly and prompt to help. Even the people working at check out desk are very knowledgeable. Id know I do installs and I repair electronics in cars, & at home. They have quite a few option a for a small place but they do lack a few brands which they may be willing to stock if asked but unsure. And the things they do stock are fairly decent products anyhow.

I left my truck with them a few weeks ago to have a new radio with backup camera, and a remote start system installed. I couldn’t be happier! Took 2 1/2 hours to install my AMP and Sub with a LC2i, excellent customer service answered my emails promptly and the wiring is incredible. Will be getting all my installs done here including my dash cam install later this week.

There exist only 3 viable options in Louisville for car audio; Sound Factory, Xtreme Auto Sound, and Discount Audio. This is my second favorite of the three.The sales people are nice enough, but only seemingly good with experienced audio people. When I was new to car audio 3 years ago, I hated this place! Now that I am more seasoned with car audio, it is a nicer more comfortable place! The same people have been here since it opened! Out of 4 installs I havent done here, all have exceeded expectations! I would recommend for someone who wants great service for a reasonable price!Noobs be ware!

I contacted the company on an early Thursday business day and explained my problem with Matt, and not only did he tell me my radio issue was going to be no problem to fix, he also gave me an estimated price of how much he thought the repair would cost. I went to another dealer that quoted me over $1000, and I left his business saving over $600 for the fix AND he showed my how my new interface worked! With the savings and how friendly the staff was, I would highly recommend anyone who needs audio services at least stop in and talk to these guys.

I would be very careful taking your vehicle to this place I recently went to have a backup camera installed and I already have the full aftermarket camera kit I had already done half the installation myself including the front camera and setting everything up so all pricing is just labor cost the only thing I needed was the back of camera specifically installed with the trigger wire and then run to the vehicle cleanly when I talked to Matthew the man claims to be the owner and manager I simply stated that I would like to have the camera protected from the elements possibly in the back I also stated that it is up to his discretion as I dont specifically know exactly how the backup camera works or functions obviously thats why Im having it professionally installed unfortunately where they installed it with my vehicle information inhand mind you, doesnt work they installed at the very top of the window so that you cant actually backup the lines do not match up due to the distance from the top window to the ground meaning the backup camera does not function properly and cannot be used so it clearly wasnt looked at or tested also it is so high on the window that it is in the one spot on this make and model that doesnt get defrosted by the defrost meaning that it is always a blurry image 24/7 If I get a Professional installation and give them the make model and all information of my vehicle I expect them to understand how to properly set it up and then simply test to make sure that everything is functioning properly and as intended, unfortunately they did not, they charged me $220 which is higher than the average price for a 15 to 30 minute installation product already provided so just labor which is generally 150 anywhere else and Im willing to pay that if the service is done properly but this was not done properly in its current state is unusable, In itself I could accept this things happen maybe they just didnt notice but when I called to ask if they could simply move it seeing how its not functioning correctly they simply said no you wanted it in the back and its going to cost you $75 to go ahead and move it down to the plate this does not make sense to me the installation is not done properly and not tested to make sure it functioned as intended they had the specs of the vehicle and information for the vehicle and it does not function properly therefore should be corrected $220 is already higher than average then to charge another $75 to fix the mistake is unacceptable, all Mathew could do was simply repeat you wanted it in the back Which is incorrect I merely stated my concern for the safety of the camera if it were to be subject to the elements or crash and I said I will leave it to your discretion in which case he confirmed to me yes weve installed lots of these dont worry about it.A simple problem or mistake is one thing it can be corrected but when you overcharge for a product and a person pays it hoping for quality professional installation and the product doesnt function as intended and they call back calmly to simply state its not working and I would like to have it corrected last thing you want to do is blame the customer be argumentative and unprofessinal and attempt to charge them another 75$ on top of a 220$ backup camera installation to fix the issue that is customer service 101, I would not recommend anyone go to this provider.Update: for any logical person simply read my review then read the response from the provider and the situation becomes clear Denial/Lies and avoiding, Mathew did claim to be the owner and manager of the store with no supervisor above him as Xtreme Autosound is the only shop and I have our conversation recorded, so thats Lie #1, and yes this kit I have is by professional installation 15 to 30 min installation clearly shown on its site for anyone to look up and see (Vantop 12 inch 4k front/back up camera) if you took 1 1/2 hours then thats just how long you took, not how long it actually takes thats Lie #2, denying facts doesnt change them, its recorded lol.

We needed to replace our radio/cd unit on our boat. Very few people offer this remote service so I was really pleased to find them. Tony and Michael were great to work with, and we are very pleased with their professionalism and their attention to the Covid requirements. Highly recommend.

Today I have a really bad experience with a customer service.I’m going to the store and ask for remote start and honestly it’s not really helpful the guy told me we need to drop my vehicle and he’s taking 3 to 5 hours to do it and I asked for appointment and the answer is the first is coming is the first get the service. Tony the owner is totally different remote start take 30 to 45 minutes and I always waiting for my vehicles unfortunately this time I have to do using somebody else.

At this point I wouldn’t recommend this place straight out the gate. I was talk to in a condescending way. And was told to come at one time to only be told time doesn’t matter. And was giving my keys back cause I asked what was the point of coming another morning from the other morning if appointments are not accepted. Normally I wouldn’t go this far with something like this but I’m going to make sure any person I can stop from coming here within my reach I’m going to.... business that don’t think customers matter cause they on a high horse want see the bottom coming so fast.

Ill never go anywhere else. Sales staff very knowledgeable and didnt try to sell me more than I needed. Explained what I was wanting out of my car stereo and they delivered. Install looks like it was done by the car manufacturer. I will definitely go back for my window tenting and any other auto customization I want. Best experience!!!

Had a Kenwood head unit and Metra kit installed in my Maxima here. The guys did a great job making it look factory although Nissan had no intention of anyone replacing this radio. Tony and others took time to explain the products I was looking to purchase and what the pros and cons would be.The unit and service have been great - the Metra kit has some issues but both the shop and manufacturer have been very responsive in helping me get these addressed.

Im very happy with my experience at Xtreme Autosound. I went in initially just wanting to ask some questions and pricing after having done my own research on remote starters, and ended up getting my remote start installed that same day! The staff were all very helpful and patient with all of my (most likely annoying) questions and responded with honest and candid advice on what I did or didnt need. I never felt any pressure or any impatience from the staff members, and I observed several clients getting the same level of professional service that I experienced myself. After getting all my questions addressed, I felt comfortable enough to go ahead and commit to purchasing today - since they work on a first come, first serve basis, I was lucky that there was only one other person getting work done before me. They were able to get me right in and told me the install would take 2.5-3 hours.It look a little over 3 hours, but after inspecting their work and the amount of business they had walking in the doors during my wait, I dont mind at all that it took that long - it looks very professional and clean. I appreciated that while I was waiting, the staff were ordering lunch for themselves and were nice enough to ask if I wanted to place an order as well - a lot of places wouldve never thought twice to ask me! After everything was said and done and I paid (prices include all necessary equipment and labor, so there are no surprises when paying, unlike some big box installers), they took time to explain in depth how to work my new starter and made sure to answer all the questions I had. Highly recommend and Ill be back soon for a 3rd time to get the sub replaced.Needed front speakers replaced in 01 Yukon. So I tried replacing my radio in my 2004 Silverado, being pretty knowledgeable about cars I thought it wouldn’t be bad. For 3 days I struggled getting the audio to work correctly, then all of a sudden the audio was muted and I could not for the life of me figure out the issue. I took it to the professionals at Xtreme AutoSound and an hour later I get a call saying it’s all fixed. Turns out I had a factory amp in it and had no idea but they were able to quickly fix it and get me back on the road. Not only that but they were also able to fix my Onstar telephone issue I’d been having for over 10 years in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend them and will be returning with other vehicles for audio installation.

For Christmas I received an aftermarket radio to replace the one I had that went bad. I had seen my previous radio installed, so I thought this was a job I was up for. Shortly after beginning the process, I quickly realized I was in over my head. I called the guys at Xtreme Autosound and they were more than happy to help. Hands down the shop that did not try to cram stuff down my throat i did not want or need was Xtreme.I dealt with Tony and Mathew, both top notch guys. Dropped off my F350 Crew Cab 2/13/16 to get the front windows tinted to match the rears. This was another flawless job done by Xtreme. Truck looks great and I couldnt be happier. Originally went to Xtreme because it was close to my house. But when I told the gentleman that I had a Yukon and didnt want to take away from my third row, he knew exactly what I needed. Got me the rite subs that sounds outstanding. Got my truck in rite away and got me out of there in a very reasonable amount of time. If you plan on getting your audio done you should definitely consider going to Xtreme. And to top it all off the work was professionally done and looks clean.

The service, pricing, and results were are all PHENOMENAL! My experience: I walked-in after a quick zip code google search for vehicle audio installers. I was friendly greeted. I explained what I needed. A technician drove my vehicle into their service area and I was done within the hour. Before completing the installation, the technician explained and showed me what he intended to do. I gave the okay and now my Sirius XM is functionally installed and appearing as if it was completed by the factory.
