I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time (8 am), they promptly got me all set up and the very nice person working at the front desk saw that I had my backpack with me and offered to let me use their conference room to work in while I waited. Multiple employees passing by kindly greeted me and offered me water and coffee. I anticipated it taking 2-3 hours to replace my windshield but it was done in just an hour and I was updated through text about the service progress! The windshield looks great and the employee that completed the installation personally came to tell me he was done and addressed any questions. I highly recommend this location and do recommend booking for 8am if possible (less busy and everyone is very friendly right after morning coffee)

While Safelite did a great job replacing my windshield, I had to make a second appointment. After dropping off my car and being picked up by a friend, I received a call 30 minutes later informing me they didn’t have the right windshield in stock. It seems this is something they could have easily determined when I made my first appointment by asking a few simple questions about my vehicle. It was made even more frustrating by the fact that the location is 25 minutes from my house. Luckily, they had guest WiFi and I was able to work during my second appointment.

Windshield repair completed a month ago, which went well. However, the repair did not work, as the crack has since spidered out. After 5 phone calls, leaving messages, and automated lines stating no one is available, I finally spoke with customer service today. Their guarantee is a new windshield, and an additional $700.00 (insurance will apply to the deductible), as they cannot do another repair. I am looking elsewhere.

Someone was supposed to order the part needed for my car. No one has called to verify. When I call I get the virtual/automatic receptionist and cannot get a human on the phone. I would have called before my appointment to verify that they had the part needed since the online scheduling options didn’t have the option that I needed for what I wanted repaired on my car, but the phone automatic receptionist couldn’t connect to me a human being. I wish when you called you could get a person on the phone instead of being redirected to their website. I have no way to call and chat with someone who works at Safelite, which makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

Unfortunately the company has been pretty unprofessional so far. My first appointment was scheduled for 14 July. I arrived, they then informed me they didnt have my windshield. I didnt receive a phone or email notification prior to the appointment notifying me that they didnt have the part. They rescheduled me 2 other times and both times, I showed up and they didnt have my windshield. I have called almost every 2 weeks since then. However, I get an email every other day asking me to reschedule - but when I call, they dont have the windshield.Today is now September 28th, I called, I was informed they deleted my order on accident on Sep 14th. I was then told, they will call me when they find out what happened. ...I just need a new windshield?

The chairs are NOT comfortable or safe for larger customers. When an employee, Jeff, saw that I had resorted to standing, he allowed me to sit in a large conference room in the back. He was a lifesaver! The staff was very friendly, and my car was ready ahead of schedule. When I left and had a definite air leak, I returned. The tech fixed the leak, took my car for a test drive, apologized and explained what had gone wrong. Caring people made what could have been a bad experience into a pleasant one!

I made a appointment online to have my windshield replaced. The appointment was made on the 28th for the 31st I was sent a confirmation email and a reminder of my appointment also. This morning I received a email of who technician would be and a time to expect him between 8am and 12pm. I receive a phone call at 8:45 to tell me they would not put a windshield in my car because they have had issues in the past with the make and model. I find it highly unprofessional to even allow me to make a appointment knowing the exact make and model at that time. They had 2 days to call and say something about it. And after talking to my insurance agent she informed me that they have had safelite replace the same windshield in the past and they shouldnt have an issue unless they just dont have anyone mildly capable on staff. When I drove up and talked to the someone all the woman at the counter would say was that they refuse to touch my car and when I asked who would she brushed me off and said to just call around. How can a company care so little that the would allow the appointment to be made and send all this information I took off work to have this done and I was shown no professionalism or respect at all. Go else somewhere else many other places will gladly work with insurance and have auch better atmosphere and customer service.

Safelite sent out an excellent, professional technician that did such a great job he almost made the busted window experience disappear. Chris replaced our window while car stayed on driveway. He called to let me know he would be there in about an hour, he explained the process, warranty, what to do and not to do, etc. He was quick and efficient as well as extremely nice and personable. I hope I dont need anymore windshield repairs/replacements but if I do I will absolutely request him.

If your car is 10 plus years old take to another glass repair what Ive gathered from my experience. Without inspection the technician did not want to replace my windshield which was evident by repeated fear tactics. Although the Tech had not inspected my car yet, he kept pressuring me not to get the windshield replaced noting that my car was more than 10 years old and that its 90 percent chance that he would not be able to put my windshield back in after taking it out if theres more than 25 inches of rust due company policy. Which he could not effectively explain the concept of the 25 inches of rust (collectively or separate equating 25inches) nor taking the car to a auto detailer 1st, cost, procedure, etc. Kept saying that he cant lose his job, & hes left 2 other customers without windshields. Had no procedures for the worst case scenarios only, encouraging me not to do the repair. Ive waited over 3 weeks to get my windshield replaced. I asked well can you just take a look before leaning one way or another?. He lifted a small piece and saw the slightest rust color and asserted that its more than likely its more 25 in. Which unsure how someone can magically tell without removing the other panels or the windshield itself. Beyond the fact that he seemed not to want to the job, he also mentioned something about they are not professionals. I knew then I should wait. This is horrible.Side note: Its terrible hes more focused on saving his job than helping the customer. Something may need to change within the company.Also there should be something while signing up online that better vets who may need to go to an auto detailer 1st. A question like do you see any rust around the edges of windshield? Can you left a small peice of the panel and take a picture so we can better assess? Basically which cars are not eligible for mobile service.

Windshield repair was horribly subpar. Cracks were almost as visible as prior to repair. Worse yet, however, when I attempted to call back to reschedule for a full replacement, there is literally NO WAY to reach a rep (seriously -- try it). Instead, youre directed to schedule online. Not even their warranty line results in a live rep picking up the phone. And you cant even schedule a second repair online thereafter; youre forced to open up your laptop and send an email to their support team requesting service. Furthermore, even though supposedly they offer on-site service, the only appointments that appear originally online require you to visit their shop. A complete waste of time and Ill never use them again.

First you can not call the office directly, the calls are automated and if you do get through, it connects you in another state.Then, they have failed to fix the defected problem claiming there is no record of my claim. There is much more issues with this company i have been having and until it gets resolved sometimes, this review will remain as is.

I am happy with the Back windshield, however I was not happy with the $25 cleaning fee that was charged and all the glass not cleaned. When I communicated with customer service they stated it is a fee to clean around the window and to wipe it down before replacing the glass. They came thru tho on the customer service and are coming to me to clean the glass out of my back dash and seats. Way to go customer service!!!!

I guess its good the service was free, but youre better off paying for it if this is how its going to go with these people. you all need to take a serious look in the mirror if I would rather pay for something than get it for free. I was scheduled for an appointment on April 16th for my BRAND NEW car. They installed the WRONG WINDSHIELD. So now my car was not drivable. They said they could get another windshield the following week and have it ready by midweek. They called me on FRIDAY of the following week to tell me the windshield was on backorder. I then called Lexus of Louisville to figure out what was happening. They said the windshield was ordered on April 15th and they were told of the backorder at that time. Instead of calling me and telling this, they went forward with installing a windshield for the right model, wrong model year. The earliest the windshield would be in was May 11. This pushed to the 17th which pushed to the 26th. Once the windshield came in, they couldnt install it because THEY DIDNT ORDER THE MOLDING! I finally got my car back on May 28th. As a side note, while they had my car, they promised it would be kept in the garage at night. I watched it NOT MOVE for a week. I called about this and was told I was mistaken. I then told them EXACTLY where my car was parked. I got a simple oh. Following that, they did put my car in the garage, but would not lock it. OK, fine. I locked it from the app, until one day I got a notification it would not be able to be locked BECAUSE THEY LEFT THE KEYS IN IT! I will NEVER go back here.

Had a rock hit the windshield of my charger on the way home from myrtle beach. Set the appointment up as soon as we got home, simple, easy. Payton showed up, explained exactly what he was going to do. Didnt have high expectations since I had a larger chip repaired on a different vehicle by safelite years ago and it was still very obvious but did the job, didnt crack any further so I was good with that. But, on my pride and joy I really wanted perfection. Even considered replacing it out of pocket. Insurance paid for the repair. Glad I didnt, Payton did an amazing job with it. The chip is just barely visible in sunlight, looks like a very tiny bug splat. He replaced the wipers, treated the windshield, less than an hour he was done. Very professional, very quick and Im extremely happy with how it came out. Personally I would highly recommend safelite.

Since having my windshield replaced my windshield wipers hasn’t worked. I’ve had three techs come and leave with no explanation, no rescheduling, no updates. If it wasn’t for my security camera recording the call from the second tech to his supervisor I wouldn’t know whats wrong with my wipers. I chose Safelite because I wanted it done right and professionally; thinking I would have a good experience. Almost 4 weeks and $400.00 later still no working wipers, no text updates or emails. I would have to get this taken care of ASAP.

Getting a hold of someone after service has been completed is nearly impossible. Initial repair was not done properly, and now the tiny chip I originally had is now a two foot long crack. I have been trying for over a week to get this resolved, but I have been given the runaround, and they will not take any responsibility for their part in this.

They dont believe in human communication, you cannot call and talk to a human, they expect you to make an appt. Online with no opportunity to talk to a human and ask questions. I recommend using glass doctor instead. They are less expensive they do a great job and you get to deal with humans. Satelite lost my business and any referrals I would have givenSo satelite responded and said my feedback is appreciated. Instead of apologizing and saying they dont want to lose business. If they lose enough business they will have to either close their doors or change the way they do things

Although my windshield was fixed, the technician broke my wipers. After almost wrecking my car, I realized my wipers would not work, I called them back and they said they would fix the issue. Two weeks later, a technician came to fix what they damaged but did nothing! My cameras literally show him pulling up in my driveway and leaving. He did not touch my vehicle then sent an email saying the job was completed. I have called the technician several times, sent text messages, and emailed customer care and have yet to hear anything back from anyone!I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!

Had driver Chris come out to repair windshield. He was extremely cordial and professional. However Safelite advertises on their website that they can repair cracks UP TO 6”. Mine is under 6”. Chris stated he only has a ring of about 1.5-2” and it only mainly repairs chips. He said there is nothing he can do to repair that other than completely replace windshield. This company completely false advertises on their website. Now I’m going to have to go and look at local shops who can repair windshields for a minor crack.

Destroyed our eyesight on our subaru when they installed a windshield, and took almost 5 months of negotiation, and trying to get them to talk to us (the manager refused to answer calls or call back). Manager lied to us on several occasions stating that he had actually called and gotten the go ahead for repairs, and then when we contacted the places he said he contacted, they said he never did, and that we would have to pay out of pocket for the damages that Safelight did to our vehicle. After 5 months, it is finally being repaired, after talking to the managers boss, and corporate.

Dropped off at 9:30 am they texted 2hrs later said replacement started 4 hrs later sitting in lot waiting to pick up when they come out and ask if I have app. As they pull in another vehicle that got there at 1:30 pm to be done before mine they then tell me they havent even started my replacement and it will be a few more hours before its ready then they tell me that its all corporate they always mess things up and dont explain to customers how it works I really didnt believe that but the lady was adamant that its corporate that screwed up again needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone and i will definitely find another glass company if I ever need replacement again and apparently they just send you random text lieing because 3hrs after texting me that the replacement was in progress I find out that not only had they not started but there was a car just pulling in that was getting a windshield replacement before they would be starting mine. VERY POOR SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND AND ANOTHER POORLY MANAGED PLACE THAT JUST TRY PASSING THE BUCK

Always very professional and I have never had an issue with any of the work they have done for me or people Ive referred. Last time they injected a crack in a friends windshield with resin instead of replacing the whole unit. Even though Im sure its structurally sound and safe it does remain visible to the eye. I personally would much rather have it replaced so there is nothing visible left over if given the option but to each their own... I must say it seems the crack is growing in size which the we were told may happen so we are going to inquire about possibly just replacing it instead. Still great services, people, and business practices and have yet to have a bad experience with these guys... Keep up the good work!

I scheduled an appointment for my windshield replacement with new windshield wipers and received a quote of $420. Had to reschedule due to the weather. On the evening before the new appointment, after the office is closed, I received an appointment reminder with a quote that was $40 higher. Now having to cancel that appointment. Very easy to make an appointment online. They took care of all insurance approval. The tech was fast, professional and didnt leave a trace that he had been here. He did the repairs at my work. Safelite Louisville Kentucky installed three (3) windshields incorrectly in our car. The first one was installed wrong and had to be replaced. When the second one was installed, they damaged exterior paint and interior dash board. We now have a third windshield that leaks. They deny it is their fault and will not pay for the water damage (well over a $1,000). We have been pushed off to a customer service person in their corporate office and cannot even talk with a local person. Now they have come back and say the water damage may have come from the Sun Roof. Amazing, the leather seats have no damage or water only the floor board where the water has come down from the windshield. Guess its time for them to cut their losses and get rid of us. They did offer to give us a piece that was not installed correctly.

Technician left my passengers window all the way down. Because of the pandemic I am working from home and did not use the car all week so did not notice until the next weekend after it rained all week inside my car!!Safelite refused to take responsibility because they said I didnt notice it in time. My interior is ruined and smells like a rotten swamp. Too bad so sad. He said if I had noticed it the next day they would cover it. I explained if I had seen it the next day I would have shut the window and would not have had the issue

I went in for what I thought would be just a quick repair. Turned out my crack was too deep. I needed a whole new windshield. The tech (I wish I could remember his name, really tall guy) handed my information to a guy at the desk who ran it through my insurance, everything was good to go. The tech had the windshield replaced in no time at all. The windshield looks so good, its like theres no window there. Im very satisfied.

Had a cracked windshield and got an appointment the next day. The staff there is very friendly and help thoroughly explain the whole process to make things less stressful. A tiny less than an inch crack in my window turned into a footlong fracture. Not a great experience.Theyre coming out to replace the full window soon. Will update review if they make things right.Update: They replaced the window, but unfortunately this means that I lost my tinting in the process. I understand that this would have happened if I replaced the window anyways, but the original intent was to seal a tiny crack, which would have left my tinting untouched.

The guy at the store, Robbie, was GREAT...my lower rating is due to customer service on the phone with the woman in Arizona...they was supposed to take care of dealing with the insurance company...guess who gets to take time out of their work day to do that now...
