This place is great ! Theyve taken care of me on multiple occasions. I needed a capacitor for my condensing unit on one trip and a roller bracket for my dishwasher the next. They had both parts IN STOCK.. I didnt have the model number of my dishwasher and he took the time to look it up from a picture and the wheel I brought in. Top notch!

Called them looking for a part and the guy made it seem like I was the only customer. Made sure he had the part before I drove to location and put it on hold for me. The lady behind the counter was super nice. Definitely recommend this place for your parts need.

Upon entering this business my husband and I were not greeted. We had the part with us and the two employee’s that were behind the counter were arguing back and forth. The employee that waited on us didn’t say a word to us. My husband gave him the part we needed. The employee typed the part number in and then tossed the part on the counter to him. Still didn’t speak a word to us. Then the employee grabs a piece of paper and a pen and throws the pen on the counter. You could feel the tension in the place. I decided I couldn’t take the disrespect any longer and just turned around and walked out the door and didn’t say a word. I’ll spend my hard earned money somewhere else and won’t take the blatant disrespect my husband and I were given today. I’m truly surprised they’re still in business with the experience we had today.

Went to get a dryer part and they didn’t have it (which was fine) mentioned going somewhere else because I couldn’t be without a dryer for another week, told me beforehand he could order it for next day and when I said that was okay gave me a sticky note and told me to order it on Amazon. One of the rudest people I’ve ever met, save your time and go somewhere else.

The guys at Derby City Appliance are fabulous! Called to see if they were open and ended up telling him the dryer stopped working then after a few questions he knew what part I needed. These guys are the real deal and there to help. Thanks Derby City Appliance!

Terrible customer service! Upon calling for information on a part and being patient with a long delay, the employee exhibited no phone etiquette, manners, or pride in his work. Being hung up on after asking questions is not acceptable business practice. Don’t waste your time or money.

Be aware of Derby City they only offering a ninety day warranty on parts and failing to mentions that. Whirlpool carries a year on parts. But they only back it through the suplier sending the part back. Sad customer service.

I dont know what we would do without this place. The knowledgeable staff, especially the lady who works there with the amazing, witty personality, are always exceptionally helpful to our limited income, DIY family. They have literally saved us hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars by helping us get the exact parts we need for under online retailers pricing AND they have tested several motors for us for HVAC so we would not needlessly purchase/replace something that was not broken. To those who complain about their no refund policy, read the signs posted and they will test motors for you or take out the faulty part BEFORE you head up there to get a perfect match. Those bad reviews are a direct result of other customers lack of research and knowledge, not on the part of this great local business.

Called to order a ice maker on 7/20/20. They said it would be in on Thursday. When i called to check they then say its back ordered be 10 to 15 days. So i wait called back bout 2 weeks later still not in. I went in person to see whats going on come to find out they cant even find a invoice number for my order. The guy looks on the the computer for 10 15 mins tells me he found a place that he can get me one bu Thursday. But said the lady would call me Monday to let me know what they can do. Now its Monday lady calls me says its gonna me a minute before we can get an ice maker and just offered a refund never did she offer to get one from the other location that had 30 plus in stock, Like the guy had told me 3 days prier. So i asked if theirs a way to get one from the location and she just went crazy yelling at me telling me it would be 10 days before they could get it, and then saying the weather would delay it more. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. THEY ARE JUST RUDE. AND THEY THINK THERE THE ONLY PLACE YOU CAN GET PARTS FROM. Just beware of this place . i wasted 2 1/2 weeks trying to get a part.

Ill be back next weekend if I need any more parts because shes inspired me to fix and keep everything myself. Dont look any where but here!

I went in to buy a replacement thermostat for my dryer. Instead the elderly woman running the store gave me a rant about how the homeless people outside her store deserved their situation and that addiction was a choice, not a disease. Interesting interaction although I cant say it was pleasant.

Do not i repeat do not ever do buisiness witht these criminals they will give you the wrong parts and when it dont work they say no refunds on anything they have a sign on the wall that says no returns but they never mention that you need to be exact on everything because there is no returns period but they never tell you that

I have bought parts there quite a few times. Great place to get parts you need. Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable owners. If they dont have what you need on hand they will order it and doesnt take long to arrive.

They are a *bit* pricier than stuff you can get online, but the parts Ive gotten from them are obviously of higher quality than the knockoff stuff Ive bought online. The dryer blower wheel I got from Amazon lasted about 4 months, and failed. The one I got from them is still running nearly two years later. It was WELL worth the extra 10 bucks :)

Donna and her crew have always been amazingly helpful and informative. Don’t believe the negative complaints posted by some of the users. When it comes to appliances if you don’t know what you’re doing there are so many variables that you cannot blame it on the Appliance parts supply company

Needed a part for my fridge and called to see if they had it in stock. I was told that they did so I asked for a price which was way over what I could have gotten online. $16 part and they wanted $50 plus. I asked for a militay discount and was quoted it would be around $34 which was wrong cause I still paid $50+ for it. They also tried telling me that they were the only people in tow that had one and that they could see other stores inventory, which was bs cause I called other stores and they did have the item on stock but for more $$. If you dont need the item that day and can wait, I would definitely buy it online instead of having these jokers rob you.

Your basic appliance parts store. They do make keys and have bags for vacuum cleaners also. A little high-priced but kinda expected.

WARNING! extremely over priced on appliance parts. Purchased a dryer element and it was 102.00 dollars. They gave me wrong part so i had to drive back to exchange it. New part was still 80.00 dollars, the name brand part on amazon was 12.99. They have a zero return policy even if it is sealed in original box. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Amazon has same day delivery with free shipping also for prime if you order early enough in the day. I understand that they have to mark up the price to make profit, but over 600% is ridiculous.

Worst experience ever. Followed their advice and that advice was incorrect. Tried to return (unused) part and they would not return it. Guy said once it walks out the door its used. Poor customer service. Go somewhere else.

Needed an igniter for a gas furnace on a cold December Saturday morning (58 degrees in the house when I woke up!), and Derby City was open for business, and had the exact part I needed. Plus they had it for less than what I found online!Will definitely do business with these great folks again!

This place is useless. I will go out of my way to make sure they never waste my time again. They are not even competent enough to look up a simple screw.

They gave me two wrong belts in a row. The first one was obviously wrong, it was less than half the diameter I needed, and wrong type.The guy acted like there was no way he could make a mistake. I pressed him and he got another belt. It was the right type, but it ended up being a few inches too long, the dryer drum wont spin. And they refuse to take it back. The customer shouldnt have to foot the bill for their employees mistakes. I will never shop here again, everything is cheaper on the internet anyhow.

The company I work for bought a part from them that was already opened and when we got it back to our place of business 5 minutes away it was the wrong part. We called them back immidiately to tell them it was wrong and they got very nasty over the phone saying we are trying to scam them etc etc. We just wanted the correct part but now due the the absolute rudeness of the lady manager we will no longer do business with them. They are very unprofessional and just nasty to deal with. I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy!!! Avoid this place at all cost and just go to Marcones!

Have an old electric range that wasnt even in their system anymore. However they were still able to get me the correct part. A little more than I could have gotten it for online, but would go back in a heartbeat for service and support a local business.
