Remember folks: it costs zero cents to NOT be rude to non-Korean customers!Came here to buy Korean comics for my Korean friend’s birthday. Right at the door, I was shooed away by the staff member because “they don’t hold English comics”. Despite saying that I was okay with that and just wanted to browse Korean comics, the staff member scoffed at me — and felt he should remind me two more times that I wouldn’t find what I was looking for.I felt unwelcome so I left after a minute.

This is a Korean language only reading room, not a comics shop. Still, the staff explained this politely enough. It looks nice, well lit, with good ac and a lot of manga(?) Books. Its odd that they named this Western Comics when there are no Western comics for sale. I guess its because its on Western. If you speak Korean or just want some Asian snacks, you might like it.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a rude lady who told us all books were in Korean. We told her we didnt mind and we just wanted to take a look around. I was impressed at how many books there were and was flipping through some comics to look at the art work. After a few more minutes the lady came back out and very rudely told us no English and gave us a dirty look. She made it very obvious we were not welcome there so we left.

They had comfy couch and variety of snacks and food. I didnt finish my comic book and the lady gave me an extra time for free. Selections of comics were up to date

Absolutely horrible customer service. The lady worker told us twice that we weren’t welcome. I’m not Korean and my friend I was with was Mexican. The establishment only seems to want Koreans to shop and browse. My advice for the establishment is to please examine what America stands for before discriminating so blatantly. If you really just want to have a place for Koreans, then don’t have your sign in English. If your sign has the word “comics” in it, you will attract comic book lovers of all races and ethnicities. I’m sure I’m not the first non-Korean to walk into your shop.

Love this place to watching fantasy and comics with korean. Totally recommended it. Also you can purchase sodas and snacks too. Dont go there on lunch time or dinner time. It is hard to find parking place on there. The price of the time on there is sooo good. You can only pay for 15 bucks for all day.

It is the largest manga room in LA.We are one of the must-see places every time we go from OC to LA!!I often borrow 10 books each.Rental is available for a week~Most of all, there are the most by type of cartoonist.^^*The store is very quiet~~~^^*The sofa is also comfortable.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻There is a simple snack ramen. Delivery food is also available.😋😋Tobacco 🚬 can smoke at the parking lot on the 1st floor. The boss is very friendly and also sells whisper parties.I used to borrow comic books and go to Whisper~The parking lot is on the 1st floor, it is convenient to park. The price is also cheap. It would be better to check the schedule before going and visit. The door was closed the last time I went there. ㅠㅠIt would be good if you inquire about the book you are looking for in advance.Recommended for those who like cartoons.👍🏻
