The first place I’m going to eat when I come back to LA. This place is amazing!The breakfast sandwich (I think it was the Florentine🧐) was literally one of THE BEST sandwiches I’ve ever had. Period. It was affordable esp. for LA and the latte was great!The owner even gave me a free coffee refill. I saw him help some others to refills as well.Free WiFi, outlets, and plenty of chairs available.

I felt like I lost my appetite this morning, so I came here. The coffee and foods were tasty and yummy. Besides, I was completely happy that I came to visit this place.

Purchased a latte and asked if it would be okay to enjoy said coffee as well as a sandwich (that was purchased elsewhere) on the premises. Was initially told this would be okay, if I sat at an outside table. Later, after sitting down, I was very rudely told by the owner that this was unacceptable. Strange way to interact with an actual paying customer that asked, not assumed, if this would be okay.The latte itself seemed watered down and rather bitter. With SightGlass and Tartine so close by, there is absolutely no reason to frequent this establishment.

I love the taste of their coffee, and it was a relaxing place. It was a nice place to study with your mates and talk to them. The access to the Internet was really cheap as well. The first time I popped in, I fell in love with this adorable café and its workers. A wide range of pastries and drinks, vegetarian options available, a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Nice coffee and incredible desserts. We enjoyed our weekend here because, with my old chums, we were able to meet new friends while having coffee. We ordered desserts as well, since one of our friends is not a lover of coffee. Its a very tasty dessert. What we enjoyed most here was the very sweet and welcoming owner who nicely entertained us. I went to this cafe last weekend with my family. They have a delightful garden in front of their place and it was so refreshing and fresh in here.

My favorite place to grab an almond milk latte +/- a lavender scone and get some good studying in. Ive also tried their salads and everything is consistently delicious. I especially love their outside area, which has plenty of umbrellas and plants.

Coffee is good. I was in a rush today and just grabbed their dripped coffee. It was an Ethiopian blend and it was pleasantly aromatic and magically caffeinated without any bitterness. Coffee is meant to be drunk hot, and piping from the barista, with a dollop of half and half and its heaven. Perfectly balanced, smooth, nutty. It tasted less like a drink and more a prayer to the morning. Yes its thats good

Ive been coming here for years. Soy milk if you want it, friendly, lots of tables, wifi, power. Rustic, not fancy. Pastry selection is small, but thats fine by me. Its an old school coffeehouse.Only minus: parking is so-so.

My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Stir Crazy on our interview date.Stir Crazy Coffee House got lucky with its location on Melrose Avenue. Not only is it close to all of the various shops in the area, but its intersection is relatively quiet and calm, something that tends to lack in the Hollywood adjacent area. We had visited on a Sunday afternoon, and I was surprised (and grateful) with how relaxing our stay was during that time of the day. It was no surprise that you had clients that had set up shop inside to work on their laptops, read, or even just people watch while sitting in the outdoor patio area. It’s very much the type of coffeeshop that you would have no problem with spending a longer amount of time there with its quirky décor and interior style, welcoming atmosphere, and of course, it’s wonderful options for food and drink. Whether you’re on the go or ready to chill for a few hours, your taste buds will be tempted by giant pastries, a mouth-watering variety of sandwiches (including all-day breakfast), burgers, and salads. Complete your meal with a classic espresso drink, tea, latte, or something a little stronger with their Red Eye (one espresso shot) and Black Eye (double espresso shot) drip coffee/espresso hybrids for the perfect amount of pick me up for any time of day.

This is one of the coffee shops that has the really cool atmosphere but the products arent that good. I like the atmosphere but the products are...very regular.

The ratings brought me to this location. Its perfect for when I want to get things done during the day! A Hispanic man attended me and he delivered excellent customer service! I got a hot chocolate and a brownie and they were both good! This cafe is not noisy which is awesome and during the day, it has good lighting! There are also outdoor tables which is also a plus especially for those beautiful summer days in LA! There is metered parking around which isnt too expensive! The only downside to this cafe I would say is the lighting at night, they dont have enough light so I feel like its fun but other than that, I really like this cafe and it is not overpriced like most places in LA and in the Hollywood area! I recommend this place, if you want to be productive!

One of the best cafes that I have ever visited. The owner of the establishment, whose name I never got, is one of the nicest owners Ive ever met. Not only is he really congenial, but hes also a clean and hardworking employer who always treats his workers well. Not to mention, the menu items are also really cheap compared to most other places throughout LA!You can see this positive attitude throughout the cafe. Its always clean and well kept, and the workers are always relaxed and cheerful. Its a great place to sit down and study for extended periods of time, though the only parking available are parking meters. The parking meters only last for 2 hours, so youll need to refill them constantly. Overall, Stir Crazys always a great experience whenever I visit. I highly recommend the Nikki Special!

Wow such great prices. I got a chai latte and bagel with cream cheese for like $5. The chai wasn’t that good.. a bit watery. The bagel was okay. But the ambience is chill and they have outlets and WiFi so I would come back :)

A hip, small stop with a welcoming atmosphere. I tried the white chocolate latte, an iced coffee, and a white mocha blended. All were superb. However, their white mocha was the best white mocha Ive ever had. An incredible blended drink!

I recently discovered Stir Crazy while I was looking for a place where I could have a good cup of coffee, find a free table and use the wifi. The bottom less coffee cup and their espresso beverages are very good, they have good sandwiches and pastries. Nothing fancy but just very good! If youre looking for a place to work on your computer, read, or just have a good cup of coffee this is it, there is always a place to seat and connect your computer! I have always been taken care of by FERNANDO, he is just awesome! My new favorite coffee place!

Stir Crazy Coffee Shop is a nice place to have breakfast and has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel @ home. I had Florentine sandwich on sesame seed bun as for my breakfast meal and an Iced White Mocha with soy milk to go with my sandwich. I had a very good and delicious breakfast @ Stir Crazy Coffee Shop. That makes me decide and have my loyalty here and I will be back again.

My girlfriend, and I came to Stir Crazy about one hour before closing, and unfortunately the owner was closing up early due to no customers. However, being the nice man he is, he offered us free drinks on the house. He even let us take a seat at one of the empty tables while he cleaned! I highly recommend the Nikkis Special, its an affogato styled item with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, espresso, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. Definitely coming back again.

Very affordable my pocket money is 200 ...but the sandwich is sooo heavy to my tummy....may be next month i comeback with my friends..the staff i like the smile...

I’m in the area for work and was looking for a close by cafe found Stir Crazy 😊 ... I was in my zone working and loss track of time. I over stayed for at least 30mins and when I looked up all peeps were gone and things are cleaned! I felt so bad & apologized for not meaning to over stay ... What I appreciated is that no one kicked me out 🙌 they went along their closing procedure without interrupting me. ALSO!!! I walked over and hesitated BUT Erica read my mind and asked me nicely, “did u want more hot water?” ... thank you for being understanding and for your service!

Love the environment -- great place to sit down and work, read, and study. Along with the great coffee, they have some great vegan bites! My almond chai was gulped in less than 3 minutes :). This place looks like a cozy place to study, and the many people furiously typing away on their laptops certainly seemed to agree, but I was on vacation when I visited, so I fortunately did not have any work to do.I came here solely for a post-lunch coffee fix on a Saturday afternoon. The coffee is very well-priced here, but the drink assembly can definitely use some work.My cappuccino consisted of espresso with some foam unceremoniously dumped on top.The espresso beneath the foam tasted fine and certainly supplied some much needed caffeine, but it lacked the silky, luxurious mouthfeel of a carefully crafted cappuccino.

What a delight! Delicious coffee, iced tea and sandwiches (try the tuna salad). Lots of tables, outlets available, free WiFi and nice and cool temparature inside (praise AC). The person behind the counter when I was there was so sincere, helpful and pleasant. Kitchen is open til 6 daily, coffee til they close at 8PM. Lots of loyal locals, which is never a bad sign. Great place to work, read, or meet a friend for a chill conversation.

Best coffee house Ive found in years. Prices are considerably lower than anywhere else, and the coffee tastes great. Plus, your cup is rarely cold or empty, as the very friendly owner makes rounds to top you off. Free WiFi, a unique decor, and what I guess is local, vintage art add to the homey feeling. Three days in a row here for me, with more to come.
