Very exciting retail spaces being occupied by creative upscale merchants. When I visited, the roughly 100 available retail spaces were about 25% occupied so far, with several spots sporting whats coming signs. I saw a bike shop with designer bikes and accessories, a childrens shop with gorgeous clothing from one designer who was in the shop. A large multi-story free parking structure is part of the complex.

I finally got a chance to visit during Smorgasburg, and I wish I had gone sooner. Somewhat difficult to find, ROW is tucked back where the old American Apparel warehouses are. Part of its concealment is due to the huge parking structure that offers 2 hours free parking -- a nice touch. The adaptive reuse of the area is tastefully done and offers the perfect setting for something like Smorgasburg. Go on Sunday between noon and 4 to enjoy a cheap weekend activity.

It’s just ok!!! Made up of independent shops with their own creativity, not same cookie cutter mall appearance. Here’s where it fails, what thy sell in stores are not interesting to me. And way too overpriced.Exterior of whole place is 5 star, gives look alike feel like nyc downtown. Independent store need to learn a lot from nyc store owners. That would make this place impressive.I would not leave BeverlyHills to come here again. I don’t recommend anyone else to do same. My reviews have always been real. Sorry to hurt your feelings....

I love it here! The shops are mostly independent retailers so I can always discover those hard-to-find gifts! But the BEST part about Row is that they have a pilates studio, massage spa, hair salon and tons of places to get cocktails so I can do all the things I need to, without driving around and dealing with parking. Its the BEST!!! Oh, and its super clean and secure, unlike some of the neighboring streets :)

Oh Row DTLA... so far, this is turning to be my favorite spot to get artistic modern goodies. All that creative atmosphere gives me a good feeling. I usually come down here when I go to Smogasburg (however you spell it). But I came here for the LA Design Week and it was so much fun! Complimentary wine, panels, and art is all that I need for a good day. TBH you may run into some lames that think theyre better than others but that does not generalize everyone youll meet here. There is a parking structure but you have to pay. Before it used to be free but oh how times changed! If you get lucky, you might find a street parking spot. They do need to add a sidewalk by the entrance to the parking structure. I do not get why they didnt add that to their planning. Since Row DTLA seems to motivate outdoor walking to stores, it seems more sustainable to make the connection!

This is going to be one of my favorite creative spaces. The renovation is massive and it looks beautiful. Again, with places like this, the retailers at ROW give the impression that they too, like other revitalization projects in LA tend to cater to a small subset of people. Its not an ideal place to be dropped off via public transit, so I suggest driving (they have a 4,000 spot parking lot that is free for the first hour) or Uber.

Very underwhelming ... my friends and I were in the art district and needed to kill some time before an event we had tickets for and looked up activities to do nearby when ROW DTLA came up. It looked interesting with all the little shops and restaurants that it advertises on their website. The website even said it was open however, after going there not one store or restaurant was open and both food trucks were closed. While walking around we passed two security guards (neither of which said anything to us) until a third security guard drove past us and then reversed in his golf cart to ask us if we worked there and if we were taking pictures because he got a call and had to leave his office to find four girls who were walking around.I would not recommend to anyone going here after my personal experience and have absolutely no intention of returning.
