We came here because the coffee shop we were gonna go to was closed. We ordered housemade granola and miso ramen, and we were able to receive the food after 35 minutes. There weren’t many ppl. We definitely ordered ramen, but they gave us bibimbap. But fortunately, they switched to ramen. Granola had too little yogurt. But the servers were all nice.
First time to this cafe. Very nice simple breakfast and coffee. Staff were wonderful!
Great coffee and ambiance, but the food is not worth the cost - especially on a public holiday with a surcharge of 20% (when most places only do 10%). For two mediocre breakfasts and coffees we paid over $70 - just not worth it.Gluten free bread was not good and they gave me the end piece which is never a good sign as for a $2 plus surcharge for gluten free I’d expect an actual piece of bread. The potatoes and bacon were very tasty.
We had a great experience at Paramount Coffee Project today. The menu was versatile and the food was just so flavoursome. We particularly enjoyed the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles and the Ginseng Congee. The coffee was also good, with a variety of milks to choose from. Service was friendly and quick despite the place appearing to be relatively busy. Price was reasonable given the quality, aesthetics and location. We will be back!
Long trip from the South West didn’t disappoint. On point eggs and one of the best I’ve had. Flavoursome and would return for their menu AND coffee – only a few solid places like this, these days (seems as though many cafes either offer good food or good coffee). The space itself is large, but the seating space is tight. I made the mistake of going here on the weekend and it gets busy. Friendly staff, tick. Aesthetics, tick. Indoor or outdoor option, tick. Chill vibe, no. The high volume of customers and close seating can make it too loud to have a conversation without letting everyone else know what you are talking about. As for transportation, it was easy and not too far a walk from the train station. I would guess parking would be a bad idea considering it’s in the city, hence why I opted for public transportation. A solid 4-4.5 stars.
Very good design, fresh place with high ceilings. I really liked the interior design, it makes you feel like you can spend all day here. Coffee is as good as it gets, food is also yummy. Presentations and recipes are very good. Price performance is fair, staff are friendly. Overall Id recommend this place.
Awesome place with a great vibe. The coffee while from Mecca is made much better than Mecca Alexandria, awesome flavour. The food is absolutely spit on, great menu, well priced, fresh and presented perfectly. The staff are great too which only adds to the positive atmosphere of the place. Highly recommended and we will return again.
Came here after I had lunch and ordered an iced filter which as very smooth and tasty. The cup size was much more generous than many other places around which led to us lingering and being able to chat for a longer time. Great decor, big windows allowed for a ton of natural light to fill the building and seating area. Nice open space with high ceilings made for a great atmosphere.
Great cafe! Good indoor decorations like small plants. Also very enjoyable to sit outside. The fried chicken waffle was tasty and crispy, and the side dish curry potato was also special! The PCP Bibi was just a composition of veggies and black sticky rice with Korean taste sauce, but dit id not suit me. My friends also ordered biscuit and buttermilk chicken, which were also delicious. Nice place to go!!!
Such a stylish and hip place, and the food & coffee are delectable. I appreciated the service, too. Only downside, which is actually an indicator for the places greatness, is how busy it was when we were there Sunday at around noon. We arrived and were told that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. Totally worth it though and we were glad that we waited to be seated. If you are with only a few people, it’s the perfect brunch spot 🥐☕️
Our first impression when getting there is like wow so cool, its nothing like what we expected, really nice ambience. Our foods were great, just that my iced mocha is not that great, its literally just coffee and ice where Im expecting it to come with a scoop of ice cream 😣. Possibly I should order another coffee on the menu next time. Overall its a great experience.
We had the gumbo and chicken and waffles. Found the chicken and waffles too sweet for my liking. They use a Belgian style waffle which was a little dense for my liking. Their take on gumbo was interesting with a good portion sized serving. I did enjoy their take on the dishes but not all elements of the dish.
Enjoyed our experience with PCP. Visited on a Tuesday morning for brunch and the cafe was busy but we were seated immediately at the bar. If you’re not fussy about seating arrangements, you’ll love it here. Food was excellent, coffee exceptional and service was warm and friendly. The space gave a very airy vibe with high-ceilings and open concept design in the foyer of the building, lots of “creative-type” people hanging about but it didn’t feel pretentious or stuffy. The menu was interesting; a mixture of classic dishes with surprising ethnic additions. We ordered the Miso Ramen, Avo toast and coffees. Wish I had more space to try everything on the menu! Would recommend!
Much love for the clever integration of this space! Lovely brunch at this cleverly integrated space. Started out 3,5 years ago as a cafe, now with a cinema underground & an hotel soon! The venue is such an eye candy (swipe for more photos), Kudos to the designer! And the food’s quite interesting too, with options other than the usual (boring!) avo+toast ♥️♥️.Crumbed Eggs on Toast $17.50Miso Ramen AU$ 19.50Mocha AU$5.50
Foods are great, however the service is not really good. We were queueing up and waiting for one of the staff to place us on a table but no staffs bother to respond to us despite we called them numerous times. When we finally saw an empty spot, since no one is on our front line we sat down and asked the staff. The staff however called us to stand up and go back to queue only to end up sitting at the same spot. Me and my friend are ordering 2 coffees and chicken burger for myself, and my friend still need time to order her food. Later after my friend order her food, her food came earlier than another food because the staff forgot to input my order. When we were eating, a staff asked us to move seats and at this point we are already pretty bummed. When I was going to order coffee again, it seems that all staffs are ignoring and pretending not to see until I stood up and gestured to order (we also saw other people experienced this and they look pretty frustrated). When we are paying the meal, the bill says 57, but on the card machine it is 58.6 and I asked why is it 58.6. Turns out she forgot to input the surcharge notice on the bill (this is basic knowledge for every cashier) and she insisted that I was wrong for questioning her, even when her senior is telling her to input the surcharge. We were not pleased with this attitude, the food is great but please improve the service quality and give them more training.
Lovely, very sophisticated, place. Lots of light and a open space, loved that there was the hustle and bustle of office types in meetings and designers on their macbooks, and the service is of a very high quality. Would definitely go again :)
Great cafe where you can sit on the counters, at the communal table or tables within the wide & open space. This is part of the multipurpose buildingVery casual yet trendy feel to it. Staff are friendly & give you all the time you need to peruse the menu and don’t make you feel rushed.Highlights were definitely the coffee ✔️ buttermilk fried chicken & waffles (everything just went very well together flavour-wise & the waffle was flavoursome & had a great texture) ✔️ & the fried chicken burger was great too (the bun was good, not too doughy or heavy & loved the onion rings along with the chicken) ✔️This is a place I’ll definitely be heading back to!
Local cafe with a warm atmosphere. Dessert options are plentiful . They regularly rotate guest roasters. Great selection of food.
Such a great cafe, like the relaxing atmosphere. Its pet friendly. The drink I ordered was very refreshing. Service was awesome. Would go again for sure. This is a place good for friends hangout, causal dinning and brunch.
Love their menu! Different options than your typical brunch spot - and everything tastes delicious. Great multifunctional space shared with a funky retail store.
Did not check ours or other peoples vaccine passports and check ins when we went on Sunday, was extremely busy, but this is no excuse.
This local gem has been a personal favourite of mine for quite some time. A mix of rustic and hearty fare along with an East Asian vibe makes it a place that really speaks to however you feel.Today, I enjoyed some delicious polenta porridge (seasoned perfectly), the delicious scram (seasoned eggs and onion) and chat potatoes covered in aoli.I recommend this place as a delicious getaway from the stress of inner city breakfast.
My partner and I adore this place! It serves a great drinks menu (we love the gaytime milkshake, but were not hipster enough to enjoy the tumeric latte). The food though, is the main thing. Its not your usual brunch menu - which is a great thing! Its Creole flavours, Asian spices - food that feeds your soul. We love it, and cant stay away!
Busy place. Love the interior. Food is bit salty. Good for taking photos I’d say
Very average. Expensive and super small servings fir the price. Coffee took ages and arrived after the meal and to be honest was just gross.Tones of better places that are cheaper and nicer so give a miss.
A modern look cafe that offers tasty, healthy and beautifully presented food. We enjoyed our breakfast here and tried a couple of dishes twisted from transitional breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.
Pretty close to the fringe of the CBD. Popular place with wide open seating arrangement. Staff on the day were friendly and energetic. Ordered the gumbo and the fried chicken jambalaya. Both tasty dishes, although some might find the fried chicken a little dry, although I quite liked it for that reason and the nice light batter they fried the chicken is a nice change from the heavier fried chicken. A quality establishment that warrants return visits.
Great cafe with an interesting twist on all your breakfast and lunch classics. Food is full of flavour and is presented beautifully.
Excellent meals! We tried the Japanese Chicken Burger and Soft Baked Eggs, both of them were delicious!
Very nice tumeric latte, super nice staff and healthy brunch options.
Okay with coffee. Nokay with food.It looks fine in the pics but Very bad food. Seems like they wanted to try fusion (Asian + Western). I like fusion but these are wrong combinations.
The place is cozy and food is as good as its been open, the service is also lovely, hence always a queue especially weekends.
Excellent filter coffee! Tried both batch and v60. Great looking space with a good vibe. Food menu could use some improvement though. I had the Cauliflower Salad, which was good.
My favourite weekend brunch destination.Food and drinks are both on point! Must try their coffee shake and ramen! But expect quite a wait if you are coming on the weekend.Highly recommended.
Great coffee place, nice service, and delicious food @ Surry hillThe place is certainly famous for its coffee,Im not the expert, but you can try it yourselfAmbiance is great, lots of greens within in,Hosting staffs are very helpful!Food is great, we ordered the gumbo its certainly made fresh and yummy!!Popular place to hangout, its usually crowdedPrice is very reasonable and affordableGreat place to hangout @ Surry hill
Friendly staff, simple interior and of course nice coffee. I tried donuts and its yummy n sweet!
Great coffee, really liked the fried chicken salad bowl thing that I got. The decor of the cafe was also really good and had great vibes. Slight japanese twist to the traditional brunch dishes.
Whats good? The coffee was great, the crumbed eggs on toast were very good, the chicken and waffles were delicious, the service was excellent, and the place was nice.
Beautiful inside out. Great selection of brunch options.Im a vego so couldn’t have their most popular items, my order was just alright, the salsa was on the salty side, pretty sure they might have be a little too generous for their salt on that day oops! Was quite disappointed with their latte art as they are famous for them coffee and I was prepared to take a good pic for that.Very friendly staff. Quick service. Lovely ambiance. Was busy even on a weekday morning.
I don’t know what the hype is all about. Very average coffee. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
Love the fried chicken waffle here !!
Huge coffee shop and restaurant. Great food selection and very good featured direct trade coffee from Coffee Collective from Denmark.
Escape from the city noise and enjoy the tranquil rooftop of Paramount House. Luscious garden beds, sunglasses available to borrow, and sweet shade sails set the scene. Vibe is chill and quietly indulgent, staff are kind, and the food is fresh, healthy and flavourful. Great coffee. Tip: Always choose the continental breakfast if it is on the seasonal menu.
Always up for a good coffee, was excited to be recommended Paramount, actually for their BKE Roll. Greeted by Diego, an exceedingly entertaining and charismatic gentleman, he recommended a couple of things - perfect additions to my order (he’s Mexican, was it a cliché he suggested avocado!?). In the foyer of a delightful boutique hotel, the loungey music, eclectic decor, cool check-in system all added to the experience. A superb brekky, and yes, the coffee was paramount! Highly recommended!
Delicious is an understatement. Must try if visiting Sydney or if you have a heartbeat.
Brilliant chicken and waffles. Coffee is good as well.
The meal is great, you may select your own topping. All is specially. Drink is ok
Good breakfast, chilled time and the right amount of good vibes 🤙🏼
Went for brunch with friends. When we arrived we were told to sit just anywhere. After finding an open space and sitting there for 5-10 minutes we were told by a waitstaff that they could not serve food where we were seated because it wasnt part of their establishment, which is fair, but they should have informed us what seating was acceptable or not to dine in.We ordered the:Maple iced coffee (very watered down coffee with a slight sweetness that did not taste like maple syrup. Genuine maple syrup has a distinctive flavour)Shaken iced almond latte (very watered down, although there was a slight nutty aftertaste and richness of the almond. Again, very slight though)Watermelon, lime and coconut crush (weirdly creamy and tangy in a way that didnt mix well. Creamy and tangy flavours can mix very well together when executed well, but this was not the case here)PCP Bibi (hipster style bimbimbap. Interesting. Flavours were still very Korean due to the sauce provided)Soft baked eggs with the housemade labneh option (pretty good flavours although the serving bowl was quite shallow and didnt actually contain much)Peanut butter jelly time sago (raspberry sago itself was very very sweet. The peanut milk was a nice touch and helped combat the sweetness of the sago somewhat, although not very successfully)Overall, the food was meh and not worth the price in my opinion
The coffee was amazing, and the food was outstanding. I had the fried chicken and waffles, so tasty!Would definitely recommend this to my friends if they were in the neighbourhood.
Coffee is ok, so as the food. Nothing is bad and in general it’s above average, But it’s not so impressive that I’ll come second time. I’d like to give 3.5 stars but google wouldn’t let me lololol
The chicken waffle was superb. Well elaborated and fresh, coffees were great. We will be back.
Look so good and tasty really nice :)
Best coffee and friendly staffs. it was sooooooo nice.
Overall pretty disappointing in a lot of ways. We first sat down outside as we had a dog and we were waiting for our friends to arrive, one pregnant and another with a pram. A larger family arrived and the waitress moved us away and onto the street tables and told us that they had arrived first. We explained we had been sitting waiting to which she told us that she had she had seen them arrive first and we would have to move. Im not sure how they could have arrived first if we were seated already!! another lady even commented later to us how unfairly we had been treated. After this, it just got worse. she was abrupt and kept reminding us that we couldnt split bills which we had acknowledged countless times. The coffee was cold as was the food. There was a stalk in my bacon and egg roll. I can quite easily say an underwhelming experience at best and it all seems to be overhyped and poorly executed. Give me a small cafe with good food any day of the week over this. I wont be coming back
Nice digs, their Bacon & Egg Roll with added kale is pricy but super tasty. The prices make this more of an occasional cafe but its worth the treat come payday.
Had the chicken and waffles. Decent. Could do with more apple slices and without the random red lettuce (or whatever it is) garnish. Service was great. Although the worker behind the counter was talking loudly and in detail about how he cut his whole face open in a motorbike incident years ago... People dont want to hear about that when theyre eating, bro. Social awareness...
Fabulous brunch menu and lovely location!
They Have the best crumbed egg and chicken burger. Cappuccino was pretty basicPlus, friendly staff:)
Great cafe with an insudtrial vibe. Great coffee and look up the bacon, egg and kale, it’s a tasty treat
