Honestly this is SUCH a hidden gem! The coffee is delicious and strong, the menu is creative and the food is exceptional, the prices are amazing too.Closest to a New York bagel that Ive found in LA!Everyone here works hard and is incredibly considerate. Please enjoy this place as much as possible!!!Ive come in for takeout and ordered delivery and they are always consistent.

Lovely customer service; friendly and accommodating. Very clean, and all employees were wearing masks correctly. The bathrooms down the hall were also very clean. My order tasted great, and when I told them at checkout that I hoped to eat half on-site and take the rest to go, they offered to box up the other half and they put it in a bag with a napkin & fork, etc. Just what was on my plate was enough for one meal, so the take-home portion will make a nice second meal. 🙂

BEST STAFF I LOVE JO SO MUCH! The coffee is the best in this area for sure. Get the large cappucino it slaps every single time. They do a mean avo toast with hot sauce as well. It is a local favorite and I have nothing bad to say

I can’t speak to their food, but their coffee is excellent. The people who work here are friendly and I love that it’s not a chain (and their coffee is better, too!). Service is quick. A portion of profits are donated to charity to benefit animals, which is a really nice touch. They are dog friendly and keep a bucket of treats by the door for your furry friends.This is definitely the kind of place I could become a regular if I lived in the neighborhood; instead I’ll have to stop by when I happen to be in the area.Lots of tables inside and a handful outside with umbrellas if you’d prefer your coffee and snack al fresco. Metered street parking on the surrounding streets never seems to be a problem.Definitely worth a stop!

Not only we love their coffee and their special pastries and desserts, but the ambiance of the place was also very astonishing. Every time we are here was it feels like home. I was having so much fun with their unique couches, too.

Coffee place but more popular for the food.

Hands down the best tuna melt I have ever had. And the cafe cubano is a must have.When its nice out, one of my favorite things to do is take a walk down to Black Dog for a smoothie and brunch. Its a great local haunt because the lines are never long, the service is typically quick as a bunny and Ive never had a hard time finding a place to sit and enjoy my meal.

Study/work spot. Definitely!As for the coffee, I was not into it. I had a vegan pastry and that was good, I like that they offer that option. I really thought this place was better than it is. But at the end of the day, whata a good pastry at a coffee shop without a good cup of coffee?Lots of space to sit in the courtyard of this coffee place. It looks nice, but not great. I feel like this place has great untapped potential.

New spot in the Valley:) Kim was constantly checked in on me and my girlfriends to see if we were doing ok! Delicious vegan cookie and coffee! Unfortunately I dont live close by but If youre in the neighborhood this is a great place to chill and get coffee.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the valley! Baristas are friendly, drinks are great, and the interior is so welcoming.Space is very small, so it may be hard to find a table during morning rushes, etc.

Very friendly atmosphere and a lot of regulars. Their coffee is second to none but their breakfast burrito made me feel a little bit ill.The free wifi is great and they dont mind you hanging out there for an hour or two as long as youve purchased something.

Great local coffee shop giving back to their community. Come in on Fridays when a portion of every purchase goes to supporting pet adoption. Coffee is good especially the cafe cubano if you feel like something sweet. Deluxe bagel, veggie sandwich, and breakfast burrito are all favorites. Staff is super nice and yes the place is dog friendly!

Freaking awesome!! I love that you can choose a Veg Dog with any of the hotdog topping options!! And they are delicious!! Small indoor seating and some outdoor as well but seems best for grab and go so you can walk around noho :)

Breakfast and lunch....open till 6:pm.Yes.....internet too.Its my new favorite place because of the vegan and Atkins diet selections on the menu. Its so hard to lose weight and stick to a diet in this day and age. Bad food is cheap, good food is cost prohibitive, but not here. For that I say, Thanks for your support, and my doctor thanks you. I was trying to find a Starbucks but I took the wrong turn and found this little gem! Nice cozy place with quick service and delicious (and affordable) hot chocolate. Would visit again!

Best Lattes, Cuban coffee and Bullet proof. Awesome glutenfree bread. Classic Avocado toast and Mexican scramble. Homemade soup menu for the month. Park on side street before 9 am.

Its labeled as a coffee shop, but they have a great menu of food too. Great breakfast spot with a friendly staff. I recommend the iced Cafe cubano. Sweet and delicious.

Inexpensive cafe and coffee shop for a quick lunch if you want sandwiches, soups and salads. Convenient for the offices and businesses in the vicinity of Black Dog. I often accompany my coworkers when they pick up food but this is the first time I actually ordered something from here.Went with the half salad and soup combo. I ordered the Santa Fe Salad and the mixed greens did not taste fresh. There was even slight discoloration in the greens =/ the garden vegetable soup tasted much better. The soup came loaded with lots of veggies. I only like this place for the convenience but the food is just OK. Sufficient enough for a quick lunch but nothing spectacular.

Cuban coffee here is excellent, especially if you like strong java. Staff are helpfull, courteous, and pleasant. The chow is good too..

Old-time office building coffee shop. Has soy lattes, wifi, power plugs, sufficient seating. $5.50 or so for soy latte and buttered bagel. Free parking block away on 6th most days.Only sign of hipsterdom was a sign advertising bulletproof coffee, but otherwise its a refuge from upscale-ness.
