Its great that they have lots of positive reviews. I have known Steve for almost 30 years and bought lots of bikes from him starting when he was on Robertson Blvd. I dropped on my prized 1973 Schwinn Super Sport that my Father bought for me. I have always taken great care of it. It was in great condition with everything original except the tires and tapes. I dropped off the bike a year ago for repairs and unfortunately developed two cancers and called them telling them that I would pick it up soon. Every time when I called Steve was not there and the repair people said they did not know where the Bike was. I came in there yesterday and Steve said he would call me in the evening. He never did and I cam back today. He said that the bike was sold for the repairs. They never bothered calling me. Shame on him and his company. No care or concern for good customers of 30 years. Its not the money although Steve told me when I dropped it off it was worth a bit as it was in good condition so he remembered it yet he sold it for maybe $100.00 Its the memories that matter with me and that bike that took me to college in Boston then NY and Los Angeles. The store is very disorganized but most hurtful Steve never said he was sorry or admitted any fault on his part or his store people for never returning my calls. Do not buy from him the store just does not care about you.

It gets even better. Steve reads my posting and calls my wife say why should I help you now after your husbands posting. Having been in business myself for 40 years its not the way to respond to customers let alone one that has been loyal for 27 years. He yelled at my wife and hung up the phone on her. Its a pity instead of having empathy for what his company did they decide to make it worse by calling my wife saying now they will do nothing. I really do not want anything except the bike he sold during the bike shortage when he had no bikes to sell find who he sold it to and return it to me. I would gladly pay twice he would want for the repairs!

I recently purchased my Helmet here, competitively priced, Jeremy was so helpful I really appreciate the care he took to assist me even though he was alone at the shop while there were other customers waiting. Compared to Helens in Santa Monica, they talked down on me as if I was wasting his time when I asked the difference between two brands.

Bought a Retrospec pink ladies bike a month ago and I am really happy with the purchase. Everyone in the store are very helpful and nice but especially two maintenance guys. Support your local business - not big corporations!

Such an awesome shop! This review is for their repair team. Now, Ive bought things from them in-store before, but I had a flat and my bike also needed a tune. And without a car I was feeling a little stuck. I looked up bike stores in the area and saw Beverly Hills Bike Shop also does pick up and delivery for bike services. Awesome! Sent them an email and Steve helped me out - picked up the bike, swapped out the tire and tube, and gave it a tune so Im finally back in the saddle. Thanks everyone!

I have no idea how this place is still in business. I have been there at least a half dozen times, bought several bikes and other accessories. Every time, the experience is just awful. I kept going back to support a local business but enough is enough. They stink. The service is awful, the prices are at least 20-30% higher than anywhere else, the people who work there are literally mean to customers, it’s also very slow to boot. And finally, while their website reads they open at 10 they actually open at noon. Go anywhere else this place is shlock.

Absolutely amazing people. Very busy but very friendly. Everyone here is very humble and genuine. I built my e-bike at home but wasn’t sure if i put everything in place correctly. So I went to them for a quick check up and they were really fast. The owner Steve, has a great thing going on.

Had a flat while riding nearby and walked it in. Was greeted by being asked how they could help! I bought a tube at a very reasonable price and was offered immediate installation or loan of tools. Popped it in myself, but was impressed with their service. Obviously operated by riders! Will be back and will recommend.

Purchased 2020 Trek Verve 1 Disc today. Helmet, lights and a stand. All properly priced. I checked on line after and sure enough they were on spot. Bike was setup and I was out the door in 30 min. Life time warranty on Trek, life tuning. Great service!

ATTENTION FUTURE CUSTOMER!: DO NOT CHOOSE THIS SHOP!I went in to buy a bike for my daughter and I and the shop was in complete disarray. It took me 15 minutes of roaming the store browsing their selection of bicycles until I had to approach a man sitting behind the counter. 35 minutes later, I purchased one bike BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE ROOM TO ASSEMBLE ANOTHER ONE. THEY TOLD ME MY BIKE WOULD BE ASSEMBLED IN ONE DAY AND THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN IT WAS READY. THEY NEVER CALLED, AND DID NOT ASSEMBLE THE BICYCLE UNTIL 12 DAYS LATER. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISORGANIZED, ESTABLISHMENT.They will hear from my Law Firm soon.

The bike mechanic knew exactly what he was doing but more than anything was kind and honest. That is very hard to come by these days.

Love this shop! We had mechanical issues and just stopped in because I was stranded. They repaired bike right on the spot with little wait time. Staff was super friendly and welcoming and gave us LA biking tips as well, since we aren’t from here. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, good selectiom of bikes and accessories. Busy! Selection is limited due to delays in receiving shipments from manufacturers... inventory turns over about every week. Service department friendly and responsive. Perhaps a bit on the pricy side. If you see the item advertised for less somewhere else (Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc.), let them know and they will try to come closer to that price.

This is a wonderful neighborhood bike shop. There are lots of bikes, ranging from kids bikes to hybrid bikes to road and mountain bikes, with models to fit every budget. The shop carries major brands, like Trek and Specialized. I bought my last road bike at the shop. There is a large variety of accessories, too.Something else: the friendly staff offer terrific and honest service. Maintenance, fixing flats, special orders, help with upgrading bike components, its all done professionally and quickly.Trivia: the shop moved from its prior location some years ago to its current West L.A. location, which is a few miles from Beverly Hills. Im a long-time customer and there are many other fans of the shop, including those who, like me, followed the shops move.

My sister and I visited a friend in Beverly Hills last Saturday. Our friend took us here and rented 3 bikes for us to ride. I know how to ride a bike but that was my first time road bike experience. With a couple of test rides, I finally found the perfect bike for me. The staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. They even took the time fit our bikes just to make sure we were comfortable. Their bikes were in excellent condition and are easy to ride. We had an amazing time getting up the hills using their bikes and had so much fun exploring Beverly Hills with their help.

Ive been going to Beverly Hills Bike Shop for at least 13 years. The service there is fantastic. The bike models they carry are excellent, and most importantly, their prices are competitive WITH. Agharantee of lifetime service included with bike purchase. Other places may say they offer lifetime service, but it can vary as to what they include, and how enthusiastic they are to actually provide free service. Read reviews and be smart. Beverly Hills Bike shop cant be beat. Ive referred so many friends, coworkers and family here to buy their bicycles, and every single one has been pleasantly surprised with how great the experience was.

Bike technician drinking alcohol while working. Rude bad words every second. Telling us not buy today he won’t have the bike ready until 1-2 weeks horribleeeeeeeeeeeeee 1 hour waiting..... to go inside. Horrible customer service Technicians nasty attitude.

After visiting 5 different bike shops( Helens Cycles, Bike Improve and more)for a mere mountain bike seat, Beverly Hills bike shop employees took great care of me and at a slightly cheaper price than I had expected.The labor technician did a great job in rigging the new seat, into the frame of my cheap Walmart bike to ensure no dopeheads can steal the new seat!Excellent work! I came in, rented one of their bikes for a day, and bought another one the next week. The guys at the shop know everything the consumer needs to know about bikes, and they communicate well to make sure we have what we need. What they have in stock, including helmets and accessories, are high quality, and with that, their prices are very reasonable. They actually were able to factor out what I paid for the bike rental fee from the final price for the bike that I bought. For everything bike-related, this is where I go.

Best bike shop

Hired a road bike for a couple of weeks whilst working in LA, couldnt be happier - the bike was brand new & excellent quality & they had great advice about routes I could cycle around the city. They kindly lent me a Garmin attachment as Id forgotten mine, and also let me extend the hire for an extra day at a great rate. Will definitely hire from them again once back.

I am a keen cyclist and I was in LA on business for the weekend. I contacted Beverly Hills Bike shop about a bike renal, they supplied what appeared to be a brand new road complete with bottle cages, bottles, helmet and emergency repair kit. They fitted an iPhone mount and gave me local info on routes etc. Great friendly service and a great ride in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Very small shop, but have you covered for everything you need. Ive always gotten a good deal on repairs and they hooked me up a number of times with miscellaneous spacers, bolts etc. for the change in my pocket. Owner and head mechanic are very down to earth and willing to help no matter how small or big your problem. Only shop in BH worth visiting. (Im looking at you Bikecology)

I want a mtb, he tried to give me a bike that looked older then me, spezialy the tires had this very old shine and they open 10 min later. But it whas a mtb or something close to that. Maybe for road bikes but no good option for mountainbikes
