I have a daily driver custom car that is also used for racing. Its a very demanding car to work on and Im the most exacting, difficult person to please when it comes to my car. Highly recommend this place to anyone getting work done to their mustang whether it’s little or big. Dropped off my car Thursday night so they can work on it Friday I had the clutch, shifter, master cylinder etc and everything was done that day! They even diagnosed another issue I had! Just dropped off my Transmission for a rebuild and the shop was really knowledgeable and helpful, they seemed really concerned about the quality and made sure I will know the status of the rebuild while its going on and what the damage looked like. I purchased a 2017 Mustang GT 5.0 this past March. I became intrigued with the ads for the superchargers available for this vehicle and called Jake at LaMotta Performance about the cost of installing one on my new Mustang. I don’t plan to race this car or go to the drag strip. I discussed this with Jake and settled on the Roush Phase 2 Supercharger that gives 727 HP at the engine. I got Jake to order the Supercharger and he called when it arrived and we set up a schedule to bring the car in.I am writing this to express my complete and total satisfaction with LaMotta Performance. First of all, he charged me $300 less for the Supercharger than the online price. He also said it would take 4 days to install and that is exactly what it took. The installation looks like it came from the factory and the performance is amazing!What I appreciated the most was Jake’s integrity and honesty. I had been advised by someone to change the rear-end ratio from the existing 3.15 to 3.73 to make the car more responsive. I was ready and willing to shell out the money to have this change made but Jake advised against it as it would be more drivable staying with the existing rear-end ratio. What I am saying is Jake could have easily made more money by changing the rear-end ratio but he was honest enough to advise me not to make the change. Since getting the car back I am completely satisfied and happy that I took his advice.

Twelve years ago we had our whole 2006 GT upgraded. About $20 grand. They were so rude. Never wanted to speak with a woman, only my husband. And they were very short with him as well, and he knew everything about mustangs. We have never gone back, and every one we have ever dealt with says the same thing about him. So sad. We need great mechanics we can trust and actually want our business

Ive been bringing my Mustangs to LaMotta Performance for years, and Jake has ALWAYS taken great care of me and my vehicles. I just picked up my Mustang yesterday after getting work done, and this recent visit was no different. Jake goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done perfect and beyond my expectations. Hes always worked on my vehicles with great care just like they were his own. If hes not comfortable with certain parts I bring him, he will tell me and guide me in the correct path to make sure everything is completed 100% to my satisfaction. One thing I noticed yesterday when I was picking up my Mustang and it reminded me why I keep coming back to Jake, he torqued the lug nuts on my wheels the proper way, with a torque wrench instead of a impact gun! Wow! That there is a long lost art in automotive repair shops, and it shows exactly the caliber of work that is done at Lamotta Performance. I wont take my vehicles any place else. Thank you Jake!

Jake and his crew are first class. Ive had him put a Paxton on a 2006 GT, Pulley, tune, dyno, and suspension on an 04 cobra, and he even safely brought our stock block fox to over 500 RWHP with street manners people couldnt dream of. His pricing, quality, and effort wont be matched.

I have been going to Jake for about 2 years now. I had been to FOUR different shops in the past just to get the run around after months on end as to why the car was not fixed. After losing patience, I went to Jake who did in 40 DAYS what 4 other shops could not do in 3 1/2 YEARS!!! These guys really know their stuff. One thing I will say, keep an open mind when speaking with Jake. He may come off at first as sarcastic or cocky, but that is what you get when you know your craft as well as he does. Yeah, hes that darn good! Highly recommended!!!

LMP just did a great work on my 2015 mustang 5.0, I brought the headers on 26/05/2016 for them and there was a problem with the order that Ive placed from American muscles, but LMP took care of it and made it fit to the mustang instead of reorder the right one again. I visited La Motta over a year ago because I had a creaking noise in the right rear quarter panel of my 2003 Mustang Mach 1. Before I went there, I chased the noise- changed my shocks and upper control arms and bushings(threw some money and my own labor at it), and the noise was still there. I asked Jake what it could be and he stopped what he was doing and put the car on a lift and started looking for the problem. He popped the trunk, took out the liner, and it was a loose piece of sheet metal. Had a good laugh, because I totally missed that minor issue. I asked Jake what I owed him for his time, he said dont worry about it. The shop was full of cars, so that was super nice of him. I returned today to have him install my Borla Stinger Catback exhaust. He quickly and meticulously installed it, measuring the tailpipes and wiping the exhaust with a cloth when he finished- in 40 minutes! I will always bring my Mustang to La Motta. Awesome shop!

Came in yesterday to drop off my 2016 Ford Mustang Gt to get some things added to the car. My friend David Lyons told me to take my car to Lamotta because of his past experience and now I know why. The Owner Jake took upon himself to do all the work on my car. He took his time to do the job right and I appreciated that very much. I will be coming back for future installs and know It will be done right. There are customers there that our spending over 10k on upgrades, at Lamotta they treat you the same if you spend 1.00 or 10,000. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We drove 250 miles to bring our car to Jake. I should have done it a month ago, and not tried to find a more local tuner, closer to home. I tried, and failed miserably.Jake is simply the best at his craft. He took our Saleen S351 from a problematic, poor starting, stumbling, coughing coupe, to a fire breathing 434 HP 469 TQ smooth running beast. There is more in it, Ill be back! An amazing place. I stopped by today completely randomly. I have used Jake many years ago when I had a Mustang and knew the quality of work he does and is known for. I have been having a boost problem in my recently installed Procharger set up and could not figure out what the problem was. I stopped by just in hopes he would have a smoke machine to help me find the issues, since I was not able to do it at home. He asked me questions and took the time to understand what problems I was having and what I should check for. Then he made time in the middle of a Saturday afternoon to squeeze me in on the dyno and see what he could find. Of course he found it, my brand new boost gauge was not reading accurately. He handled my car with the same care and attention I would, and never did I feel uncomfortable with him running it on the dyno. Incredible top notch customer service to match his skills. Do not hesitate to go here for anything you need.

I have been taking my mustang to Jake for 2.5 years now, he has done an intercooler install, new s/c pulleys and tunes, and recently a coyote crate motor was swapped into my car. After working with Jake on my coyote swap, there is nobody I trust my car with more. I have moved and still tow mine to Longwood when there is work to be done.His work and knowledge is second to none. He always works with the customers to make sure they get what they want, at the same time, he wont hesitate to tell you if you are making a terrible choice (knock off injectors, parts that will never fit or seal up right, etc) that will end up costing you more money in the long run.I may be a no name person writing a review, but if Chris Johnson (Owner of JMS chip) and Chris Escobars cars have seen lift time at Jakes shop, then Im pretty certain thats a good sign of where yours should be headed.

La Motta Performance has very bad customer service and staff period. I called today and needed a price quote on a new motor. I needed to know what options were available to me for the money i have. I called and a man picked up the phone, i begin to explain to him i needed price quote on a certain motor i was interested in to see if i could afford it. He let out a huge breath of air as if i was wasting his time or he had better things to do. So i asked if he was busy at the moment did i call at a wrong time? Then he let a another huge breathe of air was said no what did you want. I will not be treated that way when i am coming to you with my hard earned money. I politely told him thanks for your time and i will call power by ford. I was on the phone with mark from Power by ford for 15 mins he explained everything inside and out and what i could afford and i will be having them built my new motor. NEVER be nasty or treat a new customer like they are wasting your time or bothering you. I also run a page on facebook called Untouchable Mustangs of Central Florida i will make it aware to them how i was treated at La Motta performance. I also will be attending the 26th annual mustang and ford roundup at waterford lakes in February and will speak the same. Always remember you never get a second chance at a first impression.

My experience with Lamotta Performance was nothing but great. I brought my 90 lx to Jake after hearing about his shop on multiple Mustang forums. The car was running rough since the day I bought it and I thought it was beyond repair. I brought it to Jake and had it there for three weeks. He told me exactly what was needed and diagnosed the car within 2 hours. They know there stuff!! Jake was nothing but nice and honest to me and made sure that I wasnt going to be putting money into a dud. He was very patient in waiting for me to order the parts and called to let me know what was going on with the car. I picked the car up a day ago and drove it 25 miles to my house without a problem in the world. There was alot of problems with the car and they fixed every single thing that was bad on it. I could never have been happier with the work that was done to the car. They are highly recommended and I will not hesitate once when I bring my other Mustang to have work done to it. I cannot be happier and anyone who is looking for a Mustang shop that is highly experienced with all year Mustangs Jake is the guy to go to at Lamotta Performance.
