Very slow on repairs, and timelines promised are not likely to be met. They seem like a good group of people, its just that the expectations they set up front for turnaround time on repairs is not consistent with the actual turnaround time taken. They do good work and are fair though, and thats worth a lot!

Had a very poor experience here. We brought our rototiller in for repair and after 6 weeks, they still had not even looked at it. We called frequently to check in and were never given any helpful updates. It was usually “call back in two weeks” or “no idea when we’ll look at your machine”. After we finally gave up and decided to go elsewhere, we called Manthe to tell them we were coming to pick up the tiller to take it elsewhere. The person on the telephone was very cheery and seemed completely unconcerned that we had been waiting so long or were unhappy with their service. They were perfectly content to lose our business and they let us know it. We have no idea when they would’ve decided to work on our machine. When we asked the last time, they told us to call back in 2 weeks. It is understandable that at a busy time of year, there is a bit of a wait to have repairs completed. However Manthe’s poor communication with regard to all aspects of our repair is unacceptable. If we hadn’t called weekly, I am confident they would not have reached out to us to give any timeline or update. Unless you personally know the owners or are already a regular customer here, I would recommend taking your repairs elsewhere.

5 Weeks Total Time Elapsed So Far Since Drop Off for Repair___________________________________________________________Dropped off our DR Mower just over three weeks ago. At the time, they said they were busy, so it would be two to three weeks before it was done.I called twice shortly after lunch two weeks in, and got no answer. I left a message requesting a call back and an update, and never received a call back.I called again yesterday, and a staff member answered, and said its a couple weeks out before it should be done, then asked me what all was wrong with it. (I told two different people what was wrong when I dropped it off, and both wrote it down.)As one of the two registered DR service places in SW Washington area, I was surprised by the low level of communication and service.Im hopeful I can log back on here in a week or so and update this post to say they repaired my mower and did a good job. I would rather not leave yet another Google review on the repair services like others have.As of the time of this posting, there hasnt been any positive reviews mentioning repairs in the last two to three years.UPDATE: 5.27.21After my most recent posting, I didnt hear back for about another two weeks, then got a call saying my mower was ready, and the bill came to $311. I asked if they had already had DR Power cover their portion of the costs, as the machine is still under warranty (which I had told two people when I originally brought the machine in, and had provided documentation for).I was told they had not ran it by DR for warranty coverage, but that they would, and DR typically gets back with a response within a day or two.Ive called Manthe three times since then on three different days, and each time Ive got a response that they dont know anything. At this point Im not sure they have reached out to DR...UPDATE: 6.4.21Called again today. Barry answered and said I cant help with that. Anyone that could help is at lunch. It was 2:20 PM... Everytime I call between 11:30 and about 2:30 PM so far, everybody that could possibly help is at lunch... I think the next step is reach out to DR and see what the deal is maybe?UPDATE: 6.12.21I picked up my mower earlier this week, with the intent to just pay the full bill instead of waiting for Manthe/DR to figure out the warranty. Manthe didnt charge me for it in advance, so once they get the warranty settlement from DR, I asked them to call me so I can pay the difference. Havent heard from them yet, will call again at some point to get them paid. They did fix the mower, but I wouldnt use them again, unless I didnt need the mower for at least 3 months probably.UPDATE: 8.26.21I called Manthe again today, and they answered on the first or second ring. After a brief hold and after consulting Janice, it sounds like there wasnt any outstanding balance left on the account. I hope DR covered the full cost under the warranty, and Manthe didnt have to eat any of the cost, but either way, its closed out now. Manthe seems like a good group of people and do good work. The frustrations all came from the expectations set up front for timelines, and the continued failure to meet those timelines. If that gets addressed, Manthe will be the best repair company anywhere in Southwest Washington.

I needed a fairly obscure Onan generator part (a voltage regulator for an older model), and I needed it rather quickly. I called Manthe figuring it would be a long shot, not only did they have it, but they got it here fast and were very pleasant to work with. Ill definitely be doing business with them again! They had my riding lawnmower for 4mouths charge me for stuff I never authorized to do it was a huge bill then when I called them on it they just laughed at me got one mow job out of and its broke again will never go there again was totally disappointed with them

Manthe Equipment serviced our propelled standard mower when I sheared off the blade mount (whoops) and our DR. The work was done right and on time, as promised.Manthe is the only place in town to have our ignition switch, too.
