I had a major, hard-to-find problem with my car air conditioner that two other places could not find or fix. They recommended going to East Texas Auto Air & Glass - said they were the best around. So I went, and Bob and his employees persevered until they found and fixed the elusive problem(s). There were some other things in the A/C system that acted up during the following weeks, and they found and fixed those things also, and did not charge me any extra for all their time and effort. They are indeed the best at what they do, and they are also some of the most reliable, honest, and nicest people I have come across!
I have called this place for various AC parts, and they have had every item in stock, every time. I do not know of any other shop that keeps inventory like East Texas Air. Very knowledgeable staff, great service, vast part selection. Highly highly recommended.
Very dependable and reliable and friendly people been using them for over 20 years cant get no better
Nice guys helpful got cruise control put on my car very good price and they showed.memhow it worked since I have a stick shift.
Walked in needing a hose repaired. They replaced what I needed fixed in under an hour. Great fast service!!! You will not be disappointed
East Texas Auto Air & Glass is an outstanding place for air conditioner services and parts. I have always been treated fairly with friendly service. They know the business and will only sell you what you need. This is the ONLY place I go to now for a/c work and parts. Auto air conditioning, construction equipment or farm tractors, they work on them all. They are a great family owned business.
I had a great experience here. They were very helpful and did not recommend extra work driving the price up. I found them very reliable and priced Right. Would recommend for AC service.
These guys know what they are doing. Been a customer for 20 years now. Hoses ac parts they got it
Very nice and helpful people, great service and guaranteed to have what you need..
They will check out you AC system from top to bottom to find what is wrong. Honest and nice people to work on you vehicle.
Something the wait can be long.
Great
I had another shop do an engine swap on my truck a few years ago. The shop handed the AC work to East Texas Auto Air. The AC blew cold at first, but did not later. The buildup had issues that I focused on instead of the AC.The next summer, I charged the AC and it blew cold until the next time I drove it a month later. Summer was about over, so there was no rush. The next summer, I took the truck back to ET Auto AC to have them fix the problem. They spotted the crack from when their shop installed the hard lines, but said they only had a 3 month warranty. They fixed it, charged me 370 to fix their mistake, and it blew cold the one time I used it.A few weeks ago, I turned on the AC and there was no cooling. Again, it is outside of their 90 day window.I want to get the AC fixed, but I want it done by someone who stands by their work.
Nice to find an Honest shop these days! Thank you guys!!I dont often write reviews, but decided it was the least I could do after the great help I received from the guys at East Texas Auto Air and Glass.I took my family van to another shop nearby and was told that they couldnt get the a/c to hold a charge due to leak on the compressor, and it would be $2600 to replace the front and rear air components and the compressor. My van probably isnt worth more than $5000 so that was a big deal! With summer arriving, and our 7th child on the way, I had to do something, but then decided to ask a few friends if they knew any shops around that they trusted. One highly recommended E TX auto air. I am so glad I went there for a second opinion!!They are busy, so I had to make an appointment. Dropped it off and by that afternoon got a call back. They said there were some metal shavings in one of the orifice filters so the compressor definitely had some wear, but the could not find any leaks. Changed the orifice tube/filter... recharged the system, and it has been blowing cold for over 3 months now. Just under $200 for all the diagnostics and repairs/recharge. Saved me $2400!!!Out of curiosity, I asked: IF I did need to have the compressor replaced and all the other work that the other shop said I would need... how much would it likely cost?? Around $1600... for the same work as another shop VERY close to them would have charged $2600.I have no affiliation with this company other than my experience from this event. I just wanted to let others know how great they are. Thank you guys!! Sincerely appreciate what you did for our family.
Best A/C repair shop in the area!
Very helpful when we had clients in a jam. Thanks for your help on short notice! AWESOME!
Bought A/C compressor in November 2017. Now its March 2018 and these cheap f__kers wont warranty it. 3 mos warranty now and EVERYONE else goes a year. If you need a compressor for heavy duty, or anything, DO NOT GO HERE. Theyre way higher than everyone else anyways.
Had what I needed
Super cool shop great service love the people at this shop !
Repaired my vehicle
Best place in the entire state of Texas for any kind of a/c parts or repair hands down!!
Great doing business with Bob. I found the Yf1964 AC hose on eBAy. bob promptly sent me the correct part for my 1988 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat truck ordered in 1967. Thank you Bob-- I am Submarine Nuclear Veteran
They got the part I needed overnight and got it installed in a timely manner. Friendly folks.
Lots of AC repair parts on hand!
Just a suggestion to stay away from East Texas Air and Glass on Marshall for any kind of automotive service. I have spent just shy of $2000 with these people and my air conditioner system still does not work. They have now told me that I need a new compressor, even though my compressor was new, but it wasn’t one they sold and they want me to spend another thousand dollars on one of their compressor. They are a total rip off company.
They did great
Best service around
They always have it
Top notch
