This is the most magical tree lot ever! My family absolutely loves it and we go every year. Christmas lights, cheery music, candy canes, a warm fire, the most wonderful Santa ever, and the most picturesque setting next to the mountains that you could ask for! Plus you can cut your own Christmas tree if you would like... I just don’t think it can get better than this. You should definitely check it out!

A cute little tree village in Niwot that honestly has the best selection in terms of quality Ive found. Staff is friendly and helpful, but happy to give you time to browse. Free cocoa on a cold night was icing on the tree.

We typically purchase a permit every year and snowshoe through the Rocky Mountains to find our tree but this year decided to try something different. We were attracted to Creekside because of the perceived ambiance from the website and the positive reviews. Overall, the location (Longmont) was nice and festive with lights strung throughout the area and the staff was extremely friendly. The trees are beautiful but also a little dry. The big issue we had was the price of the trees. We were absolutely shocked and dismayed to see the pre-cut trees that we wanted to take home (6-7feet) ranged from $199 to almost $400.I realize there are trees that are sold for a starting price of around $75 and that different species affect the price, but the lower priced options are extremely small and there are not many of those available. We were unsure whether these prices are what all tree farms charge because it was our first time, and perhaps we just needed to bite the bullet, but we decided to try one more similar family-run farm up the road just for comparison.We ended up finding a very similar tree farm with the same selection of species and sizes of trees at half the cost. While I am extremely supportive of family businesses, I just cannot understand why the same tree at two different small, family run farms within a 15 minute drive of each other had a cost difference of nearly $150. Regardless, I do wish Creekside the best during the holidays and am happy they have so many loyal customers willing to pay their prices.

Great experience! This was our first time here and we loved it! had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to get in, but the line itself moved fast. they restricted the amount of people allowed inside the farm due to covid, and all the employees practiced good public health practices. the trees are on the pricey side, but if you look for a bit you can find a good one at a price you like.

Santa was friendly and the family owners were there to answer questions. Kids had fun running around and drinking hot chocolate. Tree prices were a bit high, but apparently its a supply issue. I think its worth it to know your not bringing pesticides into your home or the tree farms.

What a joke. $250-300 for almost all the trees including those under 8 feet. Pretty ridiculous save the money and buy extra presents. I know everyone is struggling with covid but no reason to price gouge like that. Nothing special at this tree farm just greed.

Too of the line in quality. The prices matched the quality so it aint going to be cheap. If you want the best tree, this is the place.

For the past 5 years we have gotten our Christmas trees at Creekside Nursery the Saturday after thanksgiving. Their trees are always full, fresh, and long lasting. We would not consider getting a tree elsewhere. As an added bonus, our kids love seeing Santa and enjoying the hot chocolate and candy canes.

Grossly overpriced. Arguebaly better trees at kingsooper for 1/4 the price. Nice people though.

A wonderful tree buying experience. We loved the variety and our tree stayed beautiful through the holidays. We also got a stand while there, which was very convenient, and help putting it on the car (don’t bank on that, though, if going during the weekend - the place was packed).

Best selection of beautiful Christmas trees all sorts Ive ever seen. Delightfully helpful people. Santa Claus comes to visit. They even have a field where you can select and cut your own. Wonderful place highly recommended.

Such an awesome experience. Really appreciated the incredible selection, and knowing all trees are sourced responsibly from farms that care about growing trees “right”. And the whole team of people there are so kind, jolly and exude holiday spirit in spades! Plus, Santa!! And he makes hand crafted reindeer from tree remnants!!

Im new to the area and was looking for a great Christmas tree farm. I chose this place over the others because it had great reviews, and most have said their trees lasted well into January. Its tradition that we get our tree the Friday after Thanksgiving, and because it came a week early this year, I came here, because of the statements saying they last a while. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I followed EVERY direction that was given to us. We sawed the end when we got home, gave it the food and warm water that was recommended. It doesnt get direct sunlight and we closed the heater vent that near it. Weve had it a few days shy of a month, and our tree is dead and turning brown😢 Im really disappointed! Im not one to write reviews, especially when the staff was so wonderful, but we spent A LOT of money on this tree, and for it to not even last until Christmas is heartbreaking. We most likely will not be coming back to this farm next year. I do, however, recommend this farm, as long as you wait to get your tree.

Nothing looks or smells like a real tree. We have gone to Creekside for years the day after Thanksgiving for a full season enjoying a beautiful Christmas tree.

First time picking a reel there and all the trees were in really good condition and all of the staff were extremely helpful! We were able to pick out the perfect tree for us at a good price. They even tied the tree on top of the car for us!

2 stars are for the customer service. Very friendly and helpful staff. The tree we picked died within 3 and a half weeks. We followed all watering instructions but the tree just isnt as fresh as advertised. For $120, I would have expected a better tree. Dont think I can recommend Creekside

We’ve been getting our trees from creekside for years — both for our yard and for Xmas! It’s a great family run operation and the quality is second to none!

We are extremely disappointed. The prices were outrageous! We left and went to Home Depot and found a tree for forty dollars. That same tree, at this tree farm, would have been over 200 dollars. For all of you who will read this, we definitely recommend going to Home Depot or the Arapaho National Forest (permits are only 10 dollars for a 15+ foot tree).
