Great coffee, breakfast and lunch option in Downtown LB. Better than other choices in the area including Starbucks. Plus they have fantastic wine and craft beer on tap if youre looking to do some day-drinking.

Update your Google hours guys! Took a 15 minute walk to grab a coffee and it was closed. It literally takes you 2 minutes to update it.

When ever I come to visit my wife at work in Long Beach, Cafe Aroma.Di.Roma is defiantly my favorite spot for any coffee beverage, or a quick sandwich in the city! I love this place and the customer service is great!

Quality, selection, staff, convenience and location. Very nice selection of coffees, teas, juice drinks with a few decent beers and wine. Havent had a bad sandwich yet and Im more than halfway through. Many healthy options and its steps from my front door. Order ahead online because it can get busy at times.

Coffee is really good but food is mediocre at best. Also they have zero vegan protein options, which is odd for Long Beach and the demographic. I’ve heard several customers ask for them and they somehow never added any vegan proteins, not even beans on the menu. Come for coffee but leave before you get hungry.

Have been here twice now: once for coffee and another time for a sandwich. Espresso was excellent, and the pollo e pepperonata pannini was excellent as well. Good balance of chicken and vegetables; the capers/goat cheese combination worked very well. The staff have been very friendly and helpful when I had questions; all smiles and quick answers. The cafe itself is very clean, with enough tables inside and outside-sun or shade.I have yet to try the beer selection, though it looked good. I cant wait for their hours to be later, and for their new patio area to open. Overall, this reminded me more of cafes in Italy than your typical U.S. coffee shop. The only thing Ive missed so far is a small counter to drink my espresso at (and the accompanying $1.50 espresso you can get in Italy ;D)

Fantastic sandwiches up and down the menu. The drinks were on par with Starbucks but I will be coming back to try all of the sandwiches offered.

Update 10/2018: They have recently debuted their fall drinks. I tried their pumpkin chai with macadamia nut milk and it was so good. Looking forward to trying the turmeric latte and brown sugar latte.Everyone should go here! I work across the street from this location and my entire office loves this place. Their food is delicious. Some of my favorites are the veggie panini, sexy bagel, and meatball panini. The drinks are fantastic. I love their chai latte and White Mocha Angelo drinks. They are always trying out new drink flavors, like a rose latte or matcha latte. The staff is so sweet and accommodating.

The coffee, food, and staff is great. I try to go early morning when Johnny works because he is the only barista in Long Beach (so far that I have found) to make a proper dry cappuccino... I thought that was a standard for Aroma di Roma but unfortunately got a newbie today that made a latte or very wet cappuccino. I felt bad to return it but it clearly want my order, she suggested I order a macchiato next time. She was kind but her suggestion deflects from the fact that she didnt know how to make a classic dry foam cappuccino. She went on to say that Johnny does his own thing, as if he is just making up drinks now. Well if his own thing is knowing the difference between a macchiato (which she ended up serving) and a dry cappuccino then maybe she should be more like Johnny.
