Phenomenal locally owned specialty coffee oasis. Owner is head roaster. Very friendly staff (Jose & Shawn) who love & know coffee. Shared a lot of insights on roasting. Comfortable place to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee. Purchased my own bag to enjoy at home.

Cute little hidden coffee shop near downtown LB. Love that they used glass cups because we love the environment! Wasn’t really my favorite cup of coffee but I’m definitely giving them another try in the future and will update when I do :)

A great, local experience but the coffee is just not good. Coffee only comes in one small, overpriced size so any legitimate coffee drinker will be found wanting. Not particularly strong coffee either. And if you add a shot of espresso, you’re paying $84.30 for your cup. I’m all about supporting local businesses as long as it’s better, or even on par with McDonald’s. But the truth is a large iced coffee from McDonald’s would have been more satisfying. Extra star for their atmosphere and vibe.

My favorite roaster in Long Beach, I get all my beans from here for my daily pour-overs. Good single-origin variety, consistent quality, fresh stock, great flavors, and reasonably priced (for specialty coffee). Also, the cafe is a really nice vibe and great place to hang out/work, and they make nice canned cold brew too. Nice friendly folks. Only wish they stayed open a little later!

This place is a coffee shop thats located in a residential neighborhood. Its small and cozy a great place for quiet conversation. Theres a long table that seats about 8 to 10 and small tables for intimate conversation. The only drawback is parking, because there is very little. Most people that go there go by bike are they walk to the establishment if they live in the neighborhood. They serve specialty coffee and fancy desserts sconces, its nothing like Starbucks with its Frappuccinos and Ice blends, its just a specific kind of coffee suited for people with specific taste. Its family and dog-friendly they have a special corner with toys and games for the kids and dog treats and water bowls in the front of the store for the fur babies.

Always hit this up when were in town. Solid coffee

Favorite coffee shop in Long Beach. They have great cold brew, pour over coffee (that they roast), and great espresso. The menu is very basic but overall GREAT coffee! Not a lot of food options but basic coffee shop stuff.

Local small business, good coffee, not bitter or acidic. I generally get a Americano (hot or iced) depends on the weather. Their mocha is quite nice, not overly sugary, just a nice balance of coffee and chocolate. They do sell baked goods, so I can get my sweets that way.- Awesome customer service- Street parking only (when you can find one)- They have a small area for gathering inside (benches for outside seating)- Free WiFi

Slow service (15mins to make two coffees with no one ahead of us), said theyd bring it over but then called out the wrong order so it sat getting cold before I picked it up, ordered dine in but got take away cups, coffee was okay but bitter/over extracted, staff not very friendly, (all one word answer my questions).Had high hopes but underwhelmed.

Very pretentious. No size options (but top tier prices and small cups), my mocha was delicious but literally served in an 8oz cup that took me two seconds to drink and cost as much as a 24oz anywhere else. Their regular coffee is all pour over and even with nobody else in the place took 6 minutes and the order/pay process was incredibly awkward bordering on rude. I would love it if they gave size options and gave the choice of regular drip brewed coffee. Sucks because its in my neighborhood and I would go there all the time

Nice place to chill and catch up with friends. Tried the Columbian and Ethiopian pour over and thought it was OK. But maybe I dont know that much about coffee... I came here originally to buy some beans for my aeropress but since I didnt like any of the coffees I tried I left without one. I think I prefer the Sprouts Ethiopian while bean.

Very arrogant. They demean you if you desire whipped cream on your Mocha (when its just a matter of them being too lazy to bother with it). Who cares what the coffee is like when they demean you in this way? I am very well educated. They had no right to look down and snivel at me in this way. If theyre English Royalty, as their name would imply, what are they doing working at a coffee place? In a Commoner Town like Long Beach? Decor: They are in a category all their own. Very quiet coffee shop. Great for reading or studying. Lots of seating and never busy(coffee IS good). Music is eclectic usually, however, usually played at low volume. Hidden on 3rd street locals frequent this space, but dont be shy. Offers snacks. Very small pasterie selection. Also offers surf wax if in a pinch in the mornings before heading out for a quick sesh. Parking varies, but ranges from horrible to decent. I reccomend biking if possible.

This is a lovely historic shop on quiet 3rd street right across the street from the grand old, and historic, Wilshire Ebell Club. The coffee is amazing. They have these large chocolate chip cookies that just are the best thing ever for your sweet tooth. They have those delicious vegan donuts too, mine was all dressed up for Valentines day with pink frosting and a red heart with a multicolored sprinkle border. The 1920s black and white diamond pattern tile floor is a real cool design feature of this wonderful place. Who needs the hustle and bustle of a busy coffee shop when you have LWRs. Come on Yall.MDK
