Nice and knowledgeable staff. I was looking for multi meter leads and they did have them but not the type I was looking for. The gentleman there informed me of other places to look and I found them. Nice staff.

Terrible customer service! I purchased a set of jumper cables at the Johnstown Ace Hardware, and ended up not needing them after all. I went to return them at the Mineral location, and was told that they would not take them back after purchasing them two days ago! I was told they don’t take returns from other Ace Hardware location’s!! When I asked for a manager, Lindsey came up and repeated that they don’t take returns from other locations. The receipt states that returns can be processed at any location within 90 days, but nothing about having to return at the purchased location. The Ace Hardware on University just down the street was able to process my return with no questions asked! Makes no sense why the store Lindsey runs has different policy’s then other locations?

The people here are always very helpful and Im always surprised at how much they have even though the store isnt huge. So much easier to find things than home depot.

Love the convenience of this location but staff is very uneducated as to their products and they never seem to have some of the most basic repair need items for the surrounding neighborhood

The gentlemen who work at this location are so incredibly helpful! I needed to figure out how to reuse a TV wall mount (long story) and not only did they help me with the perfect solution to re-mount the wall plate, but they also helped me solve a few other nagging problems with affordable, easy DIY solutions. Can’t say enough good things about their willingness to help, and offer creative, affordable solutions for the novice DIYer.

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff! A tall older gentleman with a Rockies mask helped me out with a toilet repair and his knowledge made the repair much easier than it could’ve been! They all clearly knew their regulars and were kind enough to take phone calls for a woman who frequently visits the store (they all knew her by name) ❤️

I own the Sport Clips that is in the same shopping complex as this Ace Hardware. I have visited many times for different odds and ends to fix up my shop and Ive always received great customer service. Today, Larry, went above and beyond my expectations. He allowed me to borrow a ladder for a quick project, however I didnt notice closing time was 7pm and he waited an 15 extra minutes until I returned. I really appreciated that you went above and beyond. I will be back again I promise.

Store wasted my time by not knowing the difference between a 16 and 23 quart pressure cooker that says is in stock online. Learn your measurements your a hardware store, pretty worthless.

I was shopping around for some wrenches and I had one in my hand and got accused of stealing and He thought I had something else in my pocket. Bob physically assaulted me and told me to leave.

Great little location. Staff is mostly cheerful, but always eager to problem solve. Had a seized bolt that Id tried everything I could think of trying to free it, few of them had a good ol time coming up with ideas to try. Brought the mangled remains of the bolt to show them later.

Asked if I needed help when I first walked in, said not yet but I will in a couple minutes. When I did need help at least 4 employees walked right by me, 1 asked me to moved out of his way.!!! Cashier talks way too much, she cant even concentrate on what she was doing.

Service is very good but they need to seriously tighten up on their mask wearing. One employee had no mask while I was there and another one had a mask that fell below her nose constantly. They lost my business because of their mask(less) ways.

I actually really liked this store. It has a small business feeling to it. I probably go here 2-3 times a year. Ive never really felt like the staff is very friendly or eager to help. Today was just another one of those days. I needed help finding something so I went to the paint counter and he was having some long conversation with someone, who mightve been an employee. So I went to the older gentleman around the corner who mustve had a splinter or something that he was getting out because I tried to get his attention a couple of times and nothing. So I sent to the ladies at the front counter who were having a conversation who both looked at me like what do you want and then continued with their conversation. So I went back to the paint counter and asked if I could please just ask a quick question. The two of them attempted to help me with some other options that I didnt ask for while pointing. So I just called my husband and asked him for help. While checking out the lady was very unfriendly. Overall, I felt like an inconvenience which was disappointing. I wont go back there unless I have to.

My daughter and I went into this Ace for a Ice Chipper for a home project. Even as we entered the store we were greeted with great service. Then David assisted us to find exactly the right tool we needed once we told him what we needed it for. Top notch customer service at your neighborhood hardware store.

Love Ace. So many things you wouldnt expect in a hardware store. Great stocking stuffers. Needed to check on elderly relative, phone dead, they let me use theirs. Of course everything you could use in hardware. Visit them.

Disrespectful. Assertive. Rude.One of the men was following me the whole time like he was waiting for me to steal something.After repeatedly declining needing staff assistance, he slowly walked past the hinges aisle I was in and stared at me (not as discretely as he may have thought). Not even a minute later, he approached me and told me to tell him what I was looking for, and didnt know how else to convince him I did not need his help since my previous attempts saying no thanks were inadequate. I felt anxious and judged and belittled. This was my first and last time at that ace hardware, and frankly, this completely turned me away from any ace hardware in the future.

The Post office inside this ACE is ridiculous, they continuously over charge me and say the weight of my items are heavier than they are. The old ladies are rude and shouldn’t be employed here.

They send you to an auto parts store for home repair items because theyre too lazy to look at their availability inventory

Absolutely useless! Dropped off 2 window screens 22 days go. 2 to have new screen put in and to have a 3rd build from scratch. Bob Lied to me about not having product to make a simple window screen. Said they didn’t have the framing material. I then had an associate walk me back to where the window screen building material is. We picked out the product that would work exactly as I needed it done. They then said that they would not do it because it would not be an exact match. From the beginning I told them that it does not need to be exactly the same, it just needs to be useable. Waste of space! Helpful Hardware Folks, I beg to differ!

I really like this store, as well as all Ace Hardware is the Denver area. The biggest difference I always see when compared with the big box competitors is the customer service. There has always been a store representative available to help me locate what I need and minimize the time it takes me to get in and out of the store. Plus, they have free popcorn for their customers... so that’s a win!

I went to mail a box today and after waiting for 20 minutes they came out to tell everybody that they had been running out of postage for a while and couldnt mail anything. How does a post office run out of postage?

Always helpful. Decent stock in store. Sometimes busy, but theyre friendly and can usually answer our questions and find what were looking for. Dont have to wait for random employees to show up for the key kiosk, unlike another big chain store.

The staff here are super helpful. Even if I go in to spend a small amount, they are willing to give me advice related to my home repair problem of the day.A huge advantage over the big box hardware stores is that you can get a small part you need, rather than buying a bulk pack that will just sit on your shelf.I also appreciate that its family-owned. At least one member of the owners family is there on a typical Saturday. Thats a great sign of their investment in the business!

Rude staff in postal area. Worked with Rita. I had a pre paid package I wanted toMail via USPS but did not have any packaging tape to tape the small box up. She told me I had to buy my own tape on aisle 6 which I did. When I returned I taped up the box and waited a few minutes for her to help. Instead she packed up her desk and started to walk out. I asked her if I was good to leave my package there and she said yes but never took it. Will not be going there again.

I love going here for the feel of small town personalized service. Friendly all of the time. I especially like the post office. Never a line, easy and convenient. I almost hate to advertise because I like it for myself... but the business deserves it. Great place to get keys made and out of the ordinary gifts.

We love this throw back to the early poo art of the last century. They often have things that the big box stores dont. That includes answering questions. We have never had any problem getting help there. They usually have a bag of popcorn ready to go, too.

Theres plenty of Ace Hardware stores between where I live and this store but, I travel out of my way every time to this particular store because they always take the time to help me and theyve taught me so much... yes, I can fix it myself (with their guidance). I love the gift area and always spend time looking at those great items often picking up something for myself or a friend. Wonderful staff, clean store, everything you need.

Found what I needed, however when I asked if theyd price match, the OWNER said she needed concrete proof of the price difference. I provided that to her, as the day before I had been at Home Depot. The same exact paint was 4 almost $5 more at this Age. She said she would not match the price, even with the concrete proof. I only went to this location because it was much closer to home. I chose to go back to Home Depot.
