Price gouge?Rang up as $44. I got several excuses as to why. The manager got involved.. he offered a marginal discount off $44.. meanwhile the same shovel is $37 at the big box store. If the 4/5 other big boy stores have the same shovel and offer price matching, it seems like the independently owned aces need to up their game. More than likely on any other day i would have ran my card but it shows up pretty obvious when you are only buying one shovel. Does this happen often? Not sure, but the handling of the situation by clerk and the manager were a direct reflection of just accept it. The younger sales clerk seemed to have better sales sense in the situation than both elders.I have shopped here numerous times and found their prices high but sometimes convenient..maybe 5 minutes longer drive to the big store.In the event that the store owner reads this.It is most certainly not about the money here. It is about the sale and repeated sales.Good luck.

I ordered a car key and the key fob and was quoted one price. Came in to get it and it was $60 more. I was told that I was quoted in correct. Needless to say, I didnt buy it.

Needed to get a spare motorcycle and Honda.key made, went to Lowes and Home depot but only Ace hardware could make the keys for us!!! Very smart and helpful staff we were asked multiple times if we could be helped, where we couldnt beg for help at the other stores! I noticed as we were waiting all their awards hanging and I definitely agree with all their awards this place is the best from now on we stop here first!!!!!

There are better Ace Hardwares in the area. This one still has the expensive emergency stuff you need.

This place is awesome-they have those hard to find hardware pieces..Customer Service is amazing, not bothersome but there for assistance. Received excellent customer service in Key copy dept. Went way above in beyond..That is very hard to beat. First time customer & I will return..this crew & Manager deserve a real Thumbs up and Corp look into modeling other stores off this 1 store here! Went in to have a smart key programed and cut. The rude manager said they dont program outside keys no explanation why thats all he said. Three options:1. Sell your key, program, & cut.= Most profitable2. Program & cut my key= $403. Refuse service and make no money.Bad business choice!!!On top of that they require customers to wear masks but not one employee was.

I went in to get keys made. They were professional and quick! I have come to this location a few times and they are always friendly and ask if I need help. I also love walking by and seeing their displays. Always clean and fresh!

This is an old but great Ace Hardware. Unlike Homepot or Lowes, Ace has a good variety of merchandise and things you might not find at the big box stores. I feel you might pay more on some things but some of these things are better quality.

Never had a bad experience here. Everyone is always very nice and very willing to help you get what you need. Always come here over Home Depot/Lowes when I know they have what I need (mostly hardware, these guys are leaps and bounds beyond those aforementioned stores when it comes to any nut, bolt, screw, washer, you name it).

Normally this store is great but I was truly disappointed to just go there and not one of their employees was wearing a mask of any kind. EVERY other store has their employees wearing a mask for the safety of their staff and for the safety of the public. This virus is not gone anywhere so be responsible.

Went in several times to ask if they can program a key for my car if i brought one in. I told one of the reps that i already had an original dealership key but the fob wasnt working. I asked if i can get a fob off of amazon and have them program it. They told me that I can go on amazon and get one and they would program it for a fee. So i went on amazon and bought a new fob and came a day later and was told that they cant do it because it wasnt purchased in store 🙃 would have been nice if i was toldUpfront.

Norm was extremely knowable and helpful in installing a shark bite shut off valve. Had to cut a copper pipe and he directed me to an inexpensive pipe cutter. Did what he said and it turned out perfect! Was able to install kitchen faucet.Thank you 😁

First time in 21 years Ive shopped here and the help was incompetent. There was a young man here w/ brown hair who was incredible and knowledgeable. These old guys, no disrespect but get trained and informed about paint. I come to Ace for the phenomenal help, but this time not so much.

The customer service is stellar, this is my favorite local store. Always greeted with a smile and helpful service. I go here for paint, pool/hot tub supplies, keys and so much more.

As strange as it sounds, this is one of my favorite places to go. The staff is always friendly and helpful; going out of their way to not only help me find what Im looking for, but taking the time to make sure I get what I really need, at the best price possible. They carry all the normal hardware store fair, plus interesting things and things that are hard to find anywhere else.The store is clean, well stocked and wonderfully dog friendly. (They dont just tolerate the pooches, they welcome them! And they use common sense when approaching them, which is a great help, and relief, during socialization and training!) I see where people have said theyre more expensive, but Home Depot will not honor their price match guarantee because they said they dont consider them competition, as Aces are independently owned, but combined have more buying power. Just a great neighborhood store!

I had a few difficult experiences at this location but the owners, Scott and Bev, were nice enough to reach out to me directly and address my concerns. It is not often you get a personalized letter in the mail from a business owner looking to correct an issue. I really appreciated that and will continue to do business here.

I’ve shopped at this store for 20 years. Usually they have what I need and it’s a short drive from home. Recently, I brought a new spare OEM Ford key blank to be cut for my truck and about fell over when I went to check out. $15 to have a key cut! This is absolutely absurd. It’s not like they supplied the key or programmed it, just cut it to match my other key. I have had numerous keys cut here before for $5 or less. The kid / manager? at the back counter wasn’t considerate when I went back and questioned if $15 was really the price to pay for a cutting a key. He just pulled a paper taped to the back counter and said it’s store policy. Had this pricing been posted where I could see it I would have just gone anywhere else to get it done. Beware of their “labor” rates and ask up front before you have anything performed. From now on I will NOT be returning to this ACE. I’ll find another store to shop.

Convenient with knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Their stock is limited (being a small store) and generally does cost more, but they do carry a wide selection of products. Personally, Ill pay more for a product if the staff is knowledgeable. Friendly is a bonus. If they dont carry something, they tell me where I can find it. I appreciate that level of service since most businesses dont want to refer to their competitors. Thanks!

Definitely one of my more favorite Ace stores to stop in. The lady at the front counter was very nice as well as the guy that helped get my bags of fertilizer and load them into a cart for me. Of course the prices are never the best in there but the service and the small-town atmosphere well makes up for it.

This is a locally owned business family ran and usually very friendly however this place always is last on my list to go to because its the most unreliable hardware store in the area always out of stock of the one item you needed or temporarily not doing the service that you came to get.
