My iPhone suddenly crashed and I took it to Verizon who referred me to computer hardware. They were able to restore my phone and for very inexpensive! They were knowledgeable, kind and patient! Will definitely bring my products back here!

My Apple phone was having battery issues and I was having a very bad day trying to deal with the Verizon office here in town. My neighbors told me they had always had good luck with Computer Hardware. I gave CH a call then dropped off my phone to have the battery replaced. Two hours later I was able to pick upmy phone with its new battery and also a new screen saver. The fellow I worked with wasknowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. I will take my Apple products to Computer Hardware from now on! BONUS: When you call their store they actually answer the phone as compared to Verizon and Best Buy where they make you talk to a nationwide call center.

My grandfather went into the store to get a specific type of cable not knowing much about computers or phones. They basically took advantage of him and had him by two cables he did not need for $85. Shortly after he was hospitalized and couldnt make their 14-day return policy. I tried to go in and return the cables and explain to them and they didnt care about any circumstances. They were happy to keep his $85 without any offer of exchange or anything so now hes got two cables and now $85 on a fixed income they couldnt use those two cables for anything he has

I had the battery in my Apple phone replaced. After I picked it up I discovered the screen was locked up. When I returned it, they told me it was working when I left, implying I did something to cause it to quit working. When they opened it up again they discovered a wire had come loose which froze the screen. It became clear,it could not have been working when I picked it up, because of the loose wire. The manager would not admit that they didn’t fully test it before returning it to me. I told them I would not do any business with them in the future.

The repair on my MacBook Pro was done well and I was able to simply use my AppleCare. They ended up replacing the full display, keyboard, and battery - all covered under AppleCare. Great!However, my computer was company-owned and they seemed to have a hard time navigating how to turn off the Find My Mac feature prior to repair due to the fact that the computer is part of a business account. They repeatedly had me ask my IT team how to circumvent it. The repair technician was unable to follow the suggestions provided by the IT team, so they told me I could contact Apple directly to ask.While I did find a solution with a single phone call to Apple, it was disappointing that the repair shop I patronized was unable to do that on their own. Even if they didn’t know how to circumvent that feature, I expected that they’d communicate with Apple for guidance instead of making me do it.After a week being stuck in one place, the repair itself only took a few business days, so that was really great.In the future, I might just make the drive to Apple instead for a higher probability that I can just drop off the equipment without worry that I’ll have to do research and outreach on my own.

My iPhone didn’t take a charge last night. While troubleshooting the problem I noticed that the lightning cable was working in only one position, meaning that when the cable was removed, flipped over and re-inserted, it wouldn’t charge the phone. I did some online research and learned that debris in the charging port can prevent the cable from working properly. I stopped by Computer Hardware just now. Upon examining my phone, the technician determined that there was debris in the port, so he cleaned it out. He then verified that the cable now worked properly. When I asked him what I owed, he kindly said, “No charge.“ I will be bringing all of my Apple devices to Computer Hardware for service in the future. Highly recommended!

Best customer service in Lincoln NE. When you walk into the store someone is there in a minute or less to say good morning or afternoon that is how I meet Mr Tripp as they call him. I was having a hard time with my phone and know one was able to talk to me in my language. I have a few leaning disability’s and this guy stoped what he was doing & he appeared busy and talked to me. I was impressed really I was at AT&T where I got the phone they gave me weird looks each time I came in. My Macabook Pro was running extremely slow and I wasn’t able to get my microphone to work after talking to Apple support on the phone for nearly two hours. They fixed the issue with my microphone and gave me the option to replace my hard drive to speed my computer up. Although it was a costly option, it was what my computer needed if I didn’t want to be painfully slow anymore. They were really informative about my price options while not being pushy at all if I didn’t want to go through with the replacement. I’m happy to say my MacBook runs lightning fast now. So happy with the customer service here!

I had my iPhone battery replaced and I found the staff to be extremely helpful and courteous. They answered all of my questions and the process only took about two and a half hours, which is more than reasonable. While their products may not be the least expensive, Apple has a great reputation for having the shortest learning-curve, which is important here. I am very impressed by the service I received. I went in with a cracked screen, they quickly processed my request, and then continued to answer all of my annoying questions. They were polite and patient with me. In less than 24 hours, I get a phone call asking me permission to go ahead and order a new screen with a complete explanation of how much it will cost. After I gave the go ahead, it took less than 24 hours to get my computer back, fixed like new. The best part, is the $ I spent on diagnosing the problem went towards the total! Excellent Customer Service - were very prompt and attentive to my broken iPhone screen. They were busy, but professional. They also turned-around my phone in less than 3 hours.I had considered taking my phone to another provider in Lincoln as the price to repair the screen was much cheaper ... but not with genuine Apple parts. Computer Hardware is the ONLY Apple Authorized Service provider in Lincoln—going elsewhere would mean I would have received substandard knock-off parts—yes cheaper, but you get what you pay for!Save yourself the hardship of having to repair your phone multiple times and get it done right at Computer Hardware!

Great store with professional people. I needed a new screen put on an iPhone under factory warranty. Stopped in and dropped off my phone and they had a new screen on in about 3 hours. Couldn’t be happier with their service. They also have a great selection of Apple products. Skip Best Buy, etc and stop this place first.

I went to Verizon with an iPhone that was under a year old and wasnt staying charged. I was told that I had two options - do a hard reset or get a refurbished phone since it was after 14 days. A friend told me to go to Computer Hardware because the 14 day warranty is a Verizon warranty, and not an Apple warranty. Computer Hardware replaced my battery and my phone is as good as new. The store employees were super helpful and friendly, and the store was spotless. Very impressed with this place!

Love this place! Came here 2 times due to my MacBook Pro having errors, and both times they were happy and ready to help. They even called apple to ask for an extended warranty, which I didn’t even ask about. They are eager to help and are welcoming as soon as you come in the door. Apple products are notoriously expensive but you pay for the design and quality, that being said I went with my brother to get his computer repaired and the tech was honest about apple stuff and it is refreshing, having dealt with many PC techs who tell you one thing and then get you on the backend.

I had an issue with the cable connected to my Hard drive causing an error message, reading reviews I found Computer Hardware and decided to drive down to see what the cost would be. The staff was extremely friendly, and very educated. I came to realize that my warranty had expired 5 days prior to coming in but they called apple and worked with them to allow my warranty to take place. Their above and beyond customer service is the reason I am writing a review (which I have never done before). All I can say is Thank you to the staff and go to them with any computer needs!

Our Urgent Care Clinic has been using Computer Hardware for several years now. The customer service is 10/10! Trip and his team do an awesome job. We use Mac in our clinical environment which has proven to be more stable than any window OS we have had.

These guys are hand down the best in town for Apple anything. I had a very complex problem with my iMac. I would start it up and it would flash a folder with a ! on the front of it. I tried contacting Apple themselves to see if I could get assistance over the phone. After talking for an hour, the rep ended up failing my hard drive. Me being shocked that he might have actually messed up my computer even more, he got me what was called a CS Code (A code the apple generates and their partner stores will help you out completely free) Super convenient, I didnt have to drive anywhere to an Apple store (Closest one is in Omaha) They sent me here, to Computer Hardware, and honestly, wow! The service I received from RYAN was completely 5 star. Welcomed with a smile and a What can WE do for you Ryan was able to determine the actual problem that was going on with in seconds it seemed (Mind you I was on the phone with apple for an hour and 36 minutes) Ryan not only figured it out, took my computer, found my CS Code, and said it would be done in 3 days, FOR FREE (since I had a Apple CS CODE) The NEXT DAY, I received a call from Ryan, letting me know, that MY COMPUTER WAS ALREADY DONE. I hurried there, got it, went home, and BOOM, works like it was brand new. I would recommend these guys HANDS DOWN, WITHOUT A DOUBT. Ryan was my sales guy, and Alex was my technician. Ill be going to these guys for a lifetime.

I would highly recommend Computer Hardware for anyone with an Apple product. I went in with a broken screen on my MacBook Pro that was out of warranty and was fully expecting to pay the upwards of $750 for a new screen. The technician said he would do what he could with getting a new screen.The next day he called me back and said that he convinced Apple to cover my screen! He saved me over $700 dollars that I expected I was going to have to pay (I spoke to Apple over the phone before I went to the store and they said I would have to pay for it). I only had to pay for the service charge, which was well worth it because it was done the next day! Extremely happy with my experience at Computer Hardware and will be coming back if I need anything.

Went in twice to try and get an IPhone battery changed. Said it would take at least two hours to change a battery and they closed in an hour. I asked if there was anywhere else in Lincoln that could accommodate changing a battery and I was told “ no one else in Lincoln can change a battery out”. I googled it there is another place within blocks of this store called we fix it I phone repair. I drove down and had a new battery in my phone within 15 minutes of walking into that store. I would not go here just knowing their staff lies, who knows what else they lie about.Edit: I do want to bump up my star rating after reading the stores response. I was to rough in my judgment. Two hours is a reasonable amount of time to fix a battery especially when there are other customers who have dropped off stuff before me, I apologize for my comment on that.I do believe what got me upset was the response about being the only people able to repair a battery. Perhaps a more appropriate response to that question would be, “ We are the only Apple certified technicians but if you’re ok with going to a location that can change a battery that is not Apple certified you could find that on google.” I would have walked out happy gone and gotten it done and then next time come back to your store.
