The Fort is a very nice and expansive store for Western fair. The team members were are very friendly and helpful to everyone. Every separate department had an excellent selection of items and the team was ready to order an item if they did not have what we wanted in stock. A very nice place to shop even for non-country people! Keep up the great work!

Absolutely the nicest clothing stores in Nebraska. They carry very high quality products at reasonable prices. Not a country western person? Thats fine, I am not either; however they carry Levis and Lee jeans, as well as very high quality foot apparel. If you have never been in, it is worth a stroll through.

Big thank you to the young man at the Fort at closing last night. My son explained what we were trying to do to get an old welding glove over his cast so that he could finish his welding class at SCC. He suggested using a drill to put holes in all of our leather so that we could lace it up over my sons hand. Heres to cowboy ingenuity! Thanks for the great idea and being so helpful.

A lovely waft of leather fills your nostrils upon entering. Friendly staff. So very many selections of boots, clothing and all western accessories. The custom hat selection is amazing. Watching the lady bend and shape my husbands hat was a whole learning experience for my kiddos.

Today my daughter & her friend visited this store and after hearing her story I just had to post. I work in retail so I know reviews are taken seriously. Anyway, the sales clerk there was extremely rude to my daughter but very attentive to her friend. Both girls have jobs and their own money to spend but one was more “dressed up” than the other. Can you guess which one got treated better? In a society that is preaching acceptance & inclusion of all peoples I’m saddened that a young lady would treat another this way. My daughter didn’t catch the sales clerk’s name but can describe her very well if your management wishes to contact us. We will for sure be spending our hard-earned money elsewhere!

Fantastic wish we had one in Northern California! Wife left her boots at home and they had the ones she needed. The gentleman who helped her went and pulled them from the back storage. Not only brought out 1 pair but 3!! Awesome staff !!

December 26th I walk into The Fort, gift cards in hand, ordered a pair of exotics, was told they would be about 6 weeks, I understood and patiently waited.. After 2 months I called, and was told they are on the way. 3 months 4 months still no boots, At 6 months I finally get a call, only to be told the boots we no longer being made. Not happy with the way this was handled I call the corporate office in Minnesota, the next Day i received a call from the regional manager( nice guy I must say) he apologized however he had no knowledge of my situation. He in turn has the buyer of the company give me a call, the buyer calls and confirms the boot will not be made anymore, but he could get me the square toe instead of pointed, I was still a little upset but excited that I was finally getting the boots I so desired.. Sadly to say it’s been a couple months and I have not received the boots or a phone call..SUCH A WASTE OF GIFT CARDS

We always have a great experience at The Fort. I wish I knew the name of the young man who helped us in the mens work boots on Monday. He was very professional and helpful with our questions.

Place is very overwhelming but definitely has the surplus of stock for consumers. However, the style of boots and their prices compared to what I was looking for was a little disheartening.

I do not normally write these, however I feel inclined to. I was in the store the other day for my first time. Most of the departments were very friendly and helpful. I liked the selection of tack and it was well organized. It was nice to finally have my size of jeans in stock. The store seemed like somewhere I might want to give my business regularly. That was until I was at checkout and the shorter dark haired male manager seemed more interested in one of his female staff members rather than in my business.(I forgot his name but it started with a B I believe). The manager ignored me while he finished his conversation with the female coworker who he seemed quite fond of. This is not the type of hospitality I like to receive when I am in a store, especially not in a manager. I plan to come back to the store eventually and I hope there is different management working that day.

My daughter and I came to The Fort last evening to pick out some boots for her cowboys and cowgirls party at school. The brunette haired girl at the check out counter was wonderful with her and made her feel so special. Lots to chose from. Was excited to find cute boots on sale for $20 dollars, she just wanted some for her school party so wasnt looking to spend a lot on a one time thing. Lots of neat things in that store. Friendly staff. Thanks for the great help and being so friendly to my daughter. She made the comment I want to be just like her ;)

I brought in a very expensive stetson hat to be shaped but their “hat guy.” All i have to say is run. Their “hat guy” has absolutely no idea what he is doing and in the end ruined my $200 hat. If you need your hat shaped, you should go elsewhere. If i could give zero stars i would.

Just bought two saddles and enough tack for two horses. Spent a few thousand. An awesome employee by the name of Dani spent two different days helping us out. Very friendly and informative. Wish we had her at our local tack shop! She spent so much time helping us! As she was ringing us up and older lady who works there stormed in and demanded Dani talk with her at that moment. It took us completely by surprise and was a little unnerving to say the least. Dani calmly replied she was ringing us up and would speak with her when she was done. The lady flared at her and walked off. She walked by a second time later and gave the same look. I’m happy that woman wasn’t helping us or we would most likely have spent our $3,684.00 somewhere else. We wished Dani good luck before leaving and felt compelled to write this review. Thank you Dani! You were great!

My son was a size 8 After two hours of trying on boots they say nope we dont have that nope we dont have that sorry we dont hand 8 in anything you want sad kid two hour drive waisted grrrrr Im upset they havent kept up on the way things use to be what a shame

Knowledgeable and friendly staff that was able to answer/accommodate even my most difficult questions and requests.Great tack selection!I took a 70+ year old straw hat in, from my grandfather, that they were able to clean and reform to a great finish.

Guy kinda helpful, was on his phone basically the whole time. Would look annoyed when asked for a different size of work boot. We did go check out the down stairs where the boots and clothing are and they were more friendly than the other staff at the entrance.

My wife visited the fort today to find things my daughter was needing for her riding lessons she will be starting. Wife said gal at the front desk was very helpful and took her to the tack department, once the gal left neither one of the gals in that department offered to help her because they were to busy on their cell phones. Gals that helped my daughter with her boots were very friendly.

It was ok. They werent real busy as I went on a weekday, but I basically did self serve. I was looking for kids boots, they pointed me to the area and I went to look. No one helped me, I found a pair, took them up to pay, and at that time I requested the box for the boots.

Very helpful, not five stars because possibly a bit too helpful, and great selection! I’ve been there many times and not gotten anything, but think the selection is better than it used to be. Even got a gift with purchase we didn’t know about! Price was fair! Another note, we were in there with our toddler as well and they were kind with him and had no problems!

They got good quality work boots. I go here often to get my boots for working as a welder/fabricator and now as a Boilermaker.They also sell the larger waist sizes in belts and jeans, which is good for us who are large in the middle.

I went to the fort this week to get work pants, and their was a young lady working her name is Madison and she was so helpful she never rushed me. She helped me till I was done shopping and today I went back to get a couple more pairs of jeans and again she was working. And she helped me till I found what I was looking for. I can’t say enough about her she was great. I am only writing this review because in the years past I have had bad experiences at the fort. But I wanted to give the store another chance...
