Im giving a 5 star because I was impressed with the customer service. What I dont like is...when you have a sale and then you add the coupon to the sale. Instead of putting something on sale and then, take the coupon off. The sale add has the coupon price on it and so does the store. Very misleading...I dont like that. If its a sale then have a sale price and a coupon price. Because its really not a sale then.

Ask for Betsy. Shes my mom. I may be biased, but shes the sweetest. She will make sure you find what youre looking for. Also well help you get the best deals possible.

J Pennys is my go-to store. They usually always have what we need. Ive been shopping at this department store for several years. I enjoy their rewards and the benefits of their cards. There are many other stores to spend money at but somehow I always end up here in the end!

Love this shopping venue. If you need anything that is for the professional look, then Pennys is it. Their Worthington and L. Claiborne collection is some of the best quality compare to Salt, Nordstrom and Macy.

I AM A VETERAN, YET WHEN I TRIED TO USE MY MILITARY CARD FOR AN EXTRA 10%. I WAS TOLD FROM THE CASHIERS THAT IT IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE.I ASK IF THAT IS SO THEN WHY ARE THERE SIGNS ON THE BUILDING AND THE WEBSITE THAT SAY DIFFERENT. I HAVE THE PICTURES AND VIDEO OF THE CONVERSATION I WILL SHOW TO CNN AND local news to find out the false claims that there store manager tells them.

Stopped in to purchase 2 Nebraska hooded sweatshirts for wife and self.

Last 2 trips this store over a month apart has been horrible. Manager assured me they would be working on the AC and getting it fixed. Never happened! Horrible Customer service, jcpenney is going down hill, they need to close this store which is sad, since I used to like coming to JcPenney.

Ine of the last of the dinosaurs of department stores in mall setting . Ive been coming here for great clothes at decent if not better quality than Walmart or wherever . Also for gifts this place has it all pretty much from A to Z . My dad used to work in the mens dept. and he enjoyed his time there . I do it also for a small memory trip . It never gets old with me .

Hated this experience, my mom and I went to purchase shorts and there was a couple in front of us in line paying for their items. The clerk stopped the transaction with those customers to tell my mom and I the line was to the left where we were standing which was on the whole other side of the clerk about 50 feet away. So no problem we apologized and went way over there behind the clerk and her station. Our turn comes up and of course another group of 4 customers stands directly behind us just as we did with the previous customers, the clerk said NOTHING to them. This made both my mom and I feel singled out, and very uncomfortable. I never take notice to race or how I see others get mistreated simply for the color of their skin because this is the world we live in no matter what. But this experience was racially charged to say the least. JCPENNY is where my family does almost all of our Christmas shopping and birthday shopping for our family however after being so mistreated by this clerk which is a representation of JCPENNY. we will not be returning.

Good place for dress clothes that dont cost an arm and a leg. Also appreciate the petite section for pants! Im not much more than 5 tall so finding pants that fit nicely length wise is rare. A great place to shop.

They have been so awesome! Since their dressing rooms were closed I couldn’t try on shorts, so I guessed. I have gained a lot of weight since April. I returned shorts twice, finally got it right the 3rd time! They were patient and understanding. July 2nd, I ordered my daughter a swimsuit. It made it to my local post office where they said the box was damaged and their was nothing in it. I called Penney’s and they told me to come n and get one for a penny.

Very deceptive pricing in store better pay close attention when checking out. Took the time to point out to a manager and she just dismissed it saying thats how we do it

Decent selection among the different departments

There is no better place for undershirts. I have been buying heavyweight tees by Stafford for years. Nothing better. I dont have the body for V-neck, so I get crew neck. I absolutely love these shirts. They also have a nice underwear selection. I also love anything by Foundry. The shirts are excellent.

There was a problem with an online order. They worked hard at figuring out a solution.

Staff seems annoyed that people would be shopping there. Overall the clothing and shoe department is messy and lack luster.

Dont waste your time shopping the Lincoln store. There are very few customer service stations. The check out lines/return lines are long. Catalog/online customer service not clearly marked. Its hot in the store, especially now wearing masks. Only a couple of entrances are open. l put in 1000 extra steps just making an online return. No wonder Penneys is in trouble..

Wish there buyer would be more understanding of plus sized buyer that we love clothes but hate big flower and polyester classy not trashing we big but we rock any look so stop judging us

Really nothing to complain about! We went to pick up an item I ordered online and the staff was very friendly! The dressing rooms were clean when sometimes at places they are not. It was nice to see the place busy. The staff was very nice and greeted us with smiles on their faces. They were also having a great sale!

Its an old dilapidated store, inside an old dilapidated mall, feels like youre there after hours with the dim lighting, skeleton staffing and many empty shelves. Still has that JC Penney pricing we all remember from when we were kids

Love to shop here. Not everyone likes to buy via the internet. There are lots of dresses in various styles, for all shapes and sizes. The prices are reasonable, and there is almost a sale going on, or coupon you can use.

Wont be back.! Searched for jeans to fit grandson. One was what was listed for 9.99, the other wasnt. Lady told me neither pair was 9.99 after waiting 10 minutes in line. Manager was standing right there. I stated the sign said it was with no avail.. never w wasting time there again

Sales floor is always clean. Fitting rooms are empty. Associates are awesome and always go above and beyond with customers.

I love JCPenney but as I walk in I see the workers dressed “ casual “ I would say. We live in the 21st century and JCPenney is a retail store and i feel like the workers should be able to dress how they want. I shop in the girls juniors area for my girls and half the workers at JCPenney are teenagers/ young adults and those girls probably want to dress how they dress outside of work. Why have a dress code so casual when you sell the “ clothes “ that you supposedly can’t wear?

Dont buy any fine jewelry from here! My ring has had to be repaired twice, finally went to get it back today and it still wasnt fixed correctly. Then the sales lady Silva tried to argue with me and tell me how baguettes are supposed to look. So now its being sent in for a third time to be repaired and it takes four weeks to get it back. Now all together I will be without my ring for more than 12 weeks. Ridiculous for the amount of money the ring cost!

It took 30 minutes for a clerk helping me make an online purchase. It was obvious she was new so I tried to remain patient throughout the ideal but others were waiting to make there purchase. I finally discreetly asked another clerk to help her.

I love J.C.Penney. It has great selection of athletic wear. I also like there other shirts. Just a great store and I hope that it won’t close.

I dont shop too often, at the mall, so this place isnt the same as it was 10 years ago. Lots of things changed. No more catalog Department. However, the professional atmosphere has been well maintained. They sell large tech enhanced Home Appliances now, which is pretty neat. Also their transactions technology has improved.

Pennys is the go to place for great prices and stylish clothes. Beautiful prom dresses are on display NOW.

Over priced and staff are rude and you have to seek them out. Ill stick to Dillards that has great sales and the latest lines of my purses and boots. Their store is a maze and hard to navigate through and the stuff in the aisles is a safety hazard.

Friendly staff! Clean store! High quality products! Large purse and jewelry section!! There is a picture store in this store that is wonderful as well! Men, women, children, and baby clothes and shoes! Also they have their own makeup and perfume section across from jewelry!! They have escalators and elevators!

Do you no longer have an employee in the departments to help customers? I had to run around the entire lower level of the store and could only find checkers that couldnt really help. I would of thought you really would have a person in the tux and suites. NOPE! Dillards was very helpful, and where my money was spent.

JCPenney is pretty much one of the last big named store that hasnt gone out of business. Montgomery Wards, Sears and many others have all closed. But JCPenneys is still in business. They have a great variety of clothes, bedding, housewares and jewelery to buy. They also carry Huskerware and items that are Nebraska oriented.

Disappointed the one elevator was out of order. My wife is disabled. A manager came over and took us up in the freight elevator which was nice but basically told us to go to another exit and for me to drive our vehicle to it.
