We drove our ambulance from New York to Globe Emergency with multiple electrical issues. As everyone know this is the worst thing to trouble shoot, you need a qualified tech to address these issues. Well it was the best thing we ever did. It has been over two months now and all the issues have been repaired. The staff was great to work with, they keep us up to date on the repairs. I would highly recommend them.

After browsing hundreds of listings and auctions, seeing vehicles with unknown histories and conditions, participating in auctions that seem to never end, bidding for “cat in the bag”, I came across GEV and the vehicle I was looking for.They have a good selection of vehicles at various price points. They are responsive over the phone or email. They have a large shop fixing and inspecting newly arrived vehicles.After confirming vehicle availability and getting few basic questions answered about the vehicle, I decided to take a chance and fly over to Philadelphia to see the vehicle in person.Vitaly, the owner of the company, is an amazing host.He arranged for my pickup from the airport, provided lunch, dinner, found a very good deal on the hotel near by, taken care of many of my reasonable and some unreasonable requests, covered an additional inspection I requested, facilitated all document transfers in a very quick manner, even provided bottle nose jack and wrenches for tire changes knowing I was going to drive the car across the country to California. He even reached out few days later to make sure my travels were safe and easy.Needless to say that the vehicle behaved as the government rated vehicle should.If you are in the market for a used ambulance, whether you are a private party or an agency, GEV is the place to take care of your needs.If I sound like some marketing promoter, it’s not my intent. It’s just when I met Vitaly, I immediately saw a good, honest and fair human being, who more than deserves to be recognized as such.

Vehicle was not as advertised- did turn out to be a decent vehicle but multiple repairs needed. Had to debate with the owner for days before he eventually issued a partial refund. He just sent a text to my phone stating, What comes around, goes around. Karma will get you!. Be cautious if purchasing a used vehicle from this company!

We bought our very first ambulance in 2010 from Global Emergency Vehicles. At that time we got a very good deal on a Type III Ford which was perfect for our budget. Since it was an older ambulance, we did not have high long-term expectations about the rig, and we were just hoping that it would get us by initially. Luckily, that truck served us well and it was not long until we purchased another ambulance from Global. Almost three years later our company has nine ambulances on the road and they all came from the same dealer. Overall, I have been very happy with the hard work and honesty that the employees at this company have been showing to us. I was glad to see that GEV has grown a lot as well over these years and they are occupying a large building now which serves its purpose much better than the garage that they were in last year. I can say that Global has been a good partner of ours and certainly an integral part of our success.

UPDATE 02/11/2013We had some mechanical problems with the ambulance we purchased from Global Emergency Vehicles, but Im pleased to say that Vitaly from GEV contacted us to get the issues resolved.After putting the truck in service, the problems were so great that Vitaly generously offered to purchase the truck back from us for the FULL purchase price! That is absolutely unheard of in this business. Not only did he wire my bank the full purchase price, he also arranged to have the truck shipped back to him in Levittown at his own expense (over 1200 miles)!There are many dealers of used ambulances out there, but in my 13 years in the business, Ive yet to run into one who extended THAT kind of courtesy to our company when there were problems with our truck. By far, Vitaly at GEV has gone above and beyond my expectations and I appreciate everything hes done to help us out! It really goes to show what kind of people they are and how they are to deal with!
