BEST DEALERSHIP!! I just purchased a 2017 Honda HR-V and I cannot express how happy I am and how amazing the entire staff was in helping me purchase the car. I went in on a last ditch effort to see if I could get approved, because I have worse than horrible credit. Next thing I knew, they had their entire team coming up with a game plan to get me approved and into a safe, reliable, certified, beautiful car. They understood what I needed and actually listened to my situation and gave me a chance. There were a few options available/offered and they made it work for me so that I could not only get the car, but be able to afford it on a monthly basis and made sure I was comfortable. I worked directly with Marie, Christina and Armani, however everyone there was amazing. I had my 3 young children with me, they were blowing up balloons to play with them while I was working on the paperwork and waiting to be approved. The car that I got is beautiful inside and out. 3 weeks ago I came to Honda City through a recommendation from a friend of mine after a TERRIBLE experience at Millenium Honda in Hempstead. I called Honda City on Friday 8/6 and spoke to a very nice receptionist who made an appointment for me and after I explained to her my horrible ordeal in Hempstead she told me to ask for the Sales Manager Christina Salmon. Saturday 8/7 upon entering this dealership it was a complete pleasure! The dealership is beautiful, beautiful layout, well lit and staff really friendly. I was greeted so warmly. Then I met Christina Salmon, LOVELY Sales Manager! From the moment I walked in she was kind, knowledgeable and explained everything to me clearly, never once making me feel like I never had options. I was then introduced to Mo, who worked with me and my boyfriend to make sure I knew everything I needed to know about the cars I was interested in. He was also friendly, knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. After being directed to the Honda Civic Sport and doing a test drive Christina and the finance manager Marie I think her name is, if Im wrong Im sorry worked to get me in that car. I just wanted to share a positive used car buying experience at Honda City in Bethpage. Our salesperson, Nick, was patient, professional, and went above and beyond to make our purchase a positive experience. He did not make us feel pressured or rushed, and was very pleasant to deal with. We were happy that there were no hidden fees in the fine print, which was something we had found at other dealers advertising prices that seemed too good to be true. I spoke with Rosemary on the phone regarding a car lease. I specifically asked if they can beat a deal I already had and went line by line with the quote. The representative told me they can beat it so come on in. I specifically asked for the number which they did not disclose on the phone. I let her know I am coming from very far so please donβt waste my time if they canβt beat the offer.. she said βAsk for Christina she will beat your dealβ.. there was no Christina available for me to speak too and the sales reps told me the deal was impossible to beat. They quoted me WAY more then other dealers in the area.. they are trying to rip people off due to the Car Shortage. I wasted hours driving to be told I was lied to on the phone. Worse experience ever! I recommend trying different dealers in your area that are quoting fair prices!

If I could give Honda City Long Island 10 stars I would. Their professionalism and customer service far exceeded every expectation. Teresa Vassallo was empathetic when I explained I was assisting my father, who is in poor health, with a replacement Honda Accord lease. I did not have the luxury of shopping for a deal and asked her for a best and final offer upfront so I would not need to go elsewhere. The offer was 100% competitive. Every phone call to Theresa was met with a warm and friendly response. She went out of her way, working with Will Ventura, to ensure all paperwork was prepared in advance of our arrival. When it came time to pick up the vehicle David Marte sprinted into action. He ran back and forth in the rain to execute the paperwork but unfortunately in the midst of it all my fathers portable oxygen concentrator stopped working and he was having difficulty breathing. David was unflappable and offered to drive my father to the hospital next door for assistance. Once my fathers breathing was stable, David arranged to drive my father home and helped ensure he was safely situated. It was at that point we finalized the paperwork and David took extra time to program phones and remote access in the new vehicle. What impressed me beyond the patience and kindness of Theresa, Will and David was the support they received behind the scenes from the entire Honda City team. Bought a new CR-V from Eric C. He was great and easy to deal with. Despite the chip shortage, the out the door price was reasonable compared to other Honda dealers in the area as the color we want is not one that is produced in great numbers. Looked at some Toyota RAV4s and the prices were way higher and less options at same price. Also, looked out of state and similar situation.

Avoid this dealership if you can! They raised the MSRP by $3000 and the salesman apologized as if there was nothing he could do. We left a down payment for the new car, insured it and got a loan all with the car VIN number on it. Before we could pick the car up, they mistakenly sold it to SOMEONE ELSE!! They admitted it was their fault, didnt have any idea how it could happen and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. We had insurance on a car that someone else was driving for days!! We did not become aware of the mistake until the night we were to pick up the car. We called the salesman who said I have good news and bad news Good news we have your loan check....bad news is we sold your car to someone else. Must be nice to be in the car business nowadays.

The service department at Honda City has my highest recommendation. I have been bringing my Honda Odyssey and CRV there for service for over ten years. The service advisors are excellent, especially Nicole, Ralph and Tom. They could not be more kind, helpful and accommodating. They take time to carefully listen to my concerns, explain everything thoroughly and make sure I fully understand what my car needs and may need in the future. They and their mechanics have kept my 2009 mini-van running like new. More importantly I find Nicole, Ralph and Tom to be most pleasant and professional. They communication clearly and always with a warm smile. Even more importantly, they remember me and my cars and treat me like a valued customer. I always feel welcome when I arrive and again must emphasize, listen to. I am the type of person who needs to know and understand every detail of my vehicles! In addition, the service area waiting area is very clean and pleasant and if the wait is long, my service advisors provide shuttle service so I can wait at home. Really these are excellent people to work with. Very highly recommended.

Made a next day appointment to check out honda crv 2021 with wife. We were just going to check the drive out price with all the fees. Mike helped us out finding the right model,color, and total price. Surprisingly there was no hidden dealers fees just the normal dmv fees and was happy to hear they had the right color in stock. We were not expecting to make a purchase but mike worked with us with our trade in which was 2013 crv with over 100k miles with damaged door and scratches. There was gap between what we wanted for the trade in and what dealer was offering. Mike worked with the manager to meet us half way to close the deal. Check engine light was on,, my bluetooth was all jacked up and was in and out of service within the first week of buying this car... He said I need replace 3 parts ( Alternator ASSY, Sensor battery, 31500-SR1-100MS) total costs $1505. I trusted him. I want fix problems. I accepted replacement. Then I got another called. He said they need order a part β PCMβ . They donβt have now. It is under warranty no charge. But the lights still on until PCM replaced. I can go to pick my car. It can drive no problem. I trusted him. I went to pick up my car and paid $1589.93 ( parts $ 787.59, Labor $676, Tax $126.24) I drove my car back to home with same issues. ( engine light on, D light flashing, P light on). On Monday 08/23/2021 I got called β PCMβ arrived. I made appointment Tuesday 10am. I leave my car there to replace PCM. Then they called me said PCM replaced but lights still on . They need check to find out issues. Afternoon they called me said itβs electric issue. I need replace another part ( 38329-T0A ALL Control Unit) total cost $ 460. ( part$380, labor $80) . I am really confused about this because I have already paid $1589.83. The problems didnβt fix. I went there Wednesday morning talked to manager. He waived labor fee but I still need pay part $359.88 and tax. I want fix problem. I donβt have choices. I accepted price. Next day, they called me the car all set. I went to pay $ 390.92. My car fixed. They misled me to replace three parts are not necessary to replace. Those parts are not broken. They are not the reasons make the lights on. They are money hungry. This my experience.

In response to my initial review, below, I recieved a call from Honda City and their general manager and I spent some time discussing the incident. I am a partner in an national professional services firm so I understand very well the need for management to honestly deal with customer incidents. Honda City not only expressed remorse for the problem I encountered, but stepped up with a significant goodwill response. Every organization may have a bad apple or the oidd incident, what is most important is senior managements response and here they did the right thing.Stay away. WE came back here recently having purchased 3 cars here previously with a good experience. This time it was a totally different experience. After a 20% premium was demanded over list and telling the sales manager that Millennium Honda in Hempstead had the same car and advertised it for list price he became very abusive when we refused his 5% discount off the premium and told us to leave if we didnt like it. We did and went straight to Millennium where we bought the exact same car for several thousand less and were treated with respect. This dealer may be trying to pay for its new building by trying to gauge customers in this market, and clearly could care less about repeat customers.

Spent a lot of time with us including a road test.Negotiating on the trade in, the General Manager (dressed like a janitor) came to the salespersons desk and was so immediately nasty that we ran out and bought it at Huntington Honda.I suggest you do as well.
Thatβs the best dealership in Long Island but my last meeting with them was horrible due overcharge prices on all 2021 cars and finance person is also on attitude. So if you planning to buy new car be ready for 2-3k over prices.

Customer service scheduled us an appointment to view a specific vehicle. We traveled over an hour to test drive the car. Upon arrival, the sales rep stated the car had just been sold. No notice was given. Was never alerted the vehicle had been sold. Business lacks interdepartmental communication. Poor communication with potential buyers. Poor treatment of the customer. Would not recommend doing business with this establishment. Waste of time and a very disappointing experience

Was planning to buy a car from this dealership.. Spoke to a salesman for about a car for about 2 weeks.. First thing I asked about was price and was assured that the car would sell for msrp and the price on their website.. I was about to put down a deposit but when sending me a price I was quoted 5600$ more than msrp.. He tried convincing me it was msrp than changed the story and said his manager added that cost. Spoke to a manager and they wouldnt sell for the price I was promised.. Waste of time and energy and very deceptive.. I was willing to drive from NC to NY to pick up this car.. And my most recent two visits have convinced me to consider going elsewhere.Six weeks ago the rear hatch on my Honda CRV stopped working. There is no key to open it and no interior latch or any other means except for unlocking the doors, but this no longer unlocks the rear compartment.I went to Honda city Bethpage service and was advised by my service manager that they would be charging me $176 to take a look, but that they probably would not be able to find the reason for this problem.While you are probably asking yourself who would pay almost $200 to not receive a solution to the problem, you are correct and I basically returned to the desk immediately after sitting in the chair and thinking about what she had just told me.I told her to forget about it and took it to my own expert who replace the switch and when that didnβt work replace the lock mechanism, neither of which worked.Out of frustration, I return to Honda city Bethpage and asked if there was anyone in the service department who might be their expert who could tell me what else we might be able to rule out or what they thought it might be. I was basically given the brush and told thereβs nothing they could do and that they donβt know anything about their own cars. What a ridiculous thing; just basically a blow off.Well now I am so frustrated to be locked out of my own car and have now become at my wits end with an issue that may never get solved. Not surprisingly I even called the corporate number just to ask them if they can recommend anything, and they offered nothing but the advice that I should go to another Honda service center and pay the $176 for nothing. Is this a nightmare? And I truly love my honda and thought I will never buy another make of car.Sorry if this sounds like I am spewing a grudge; I really donβt normally do this, but it needed to be said publicly. I love this Honda CRV and I had thought it would be the only car I would buy in my future.I still probably will, but not from this dealer.

I was recently in the market for a new car and I found myself at Honda City in Levittown. I was leaning towards a CR-V but wasnt sure what options each trim level offered. I arrived at their showroom late Monday night without an appointment. I was immediately greeted by one of their team members, Dean Sargent. I found Dean to be friendly and very knowledgeable on all the different features the CR-Vs offered. I decided that the EX-L model was the one for me. Dean answered my many questions throughout the whole process and responded to all the texts I sent him the following day. I drove the car home a day later. This process was the smoothest ones Ive ever had when looking for a car. Kudos to Dean!
Pretty alright experience. Everything was great, especially with our sales rep Nick who was so kind and understanding. He helped us with everything and negotiated with us, and even forwarded us to the higher ups who were just as great. The reason this place gets 3 stars is because of their finance rep (mr. Wellington or something) who was upright disrespectful. When we wanted to talk about the finances, and didnβt quite understand something, he gave us a very poor attitude response and even said Iβm not going to talk about it and took the keys back. Very very very poor experience with him, and he is the sole reason why I give this place a lower rating. Everyone else was great, especially Nick and the other guys.

Iβll just keep it simple and say that Dean has change the way I think forever. He is hands-down the best salesman there and is completely honest. 4/7/2021Updated from 1 star to 4 starsThe next day I was contacted by the GM of Honda City who was extremely apologetic about the situation that occurred and rectified the issue immediately.His assistant was also very professional, courteous and helpful and went above my expectations to provide ideal customer service. Iβm grateful for their prompt response and showing me that they truly care about their customers.3/29/2021Scheduled a tire rotation that wouldβve cost ~$40 and an alignment for an additional $180 and was informed I needed the brake fluid and rear differential fluid servicing due to the car being two years old so I said okay thinking they were just topping it off. After almost 4 hours of waiting I left with a $550 bill, $500 of that was just on labor and the rest on the fluid used.When I informed the rep assisting me that I wasnβt provided any prices on the additional servicing beforehand he admitted he was at fault but there was nothing he could do since the services were already rendered. I politely informed him that it would be ideal business practice that they inform the client of the prices BEFOREHAND where he stated βI thought you knewβ. How the heck would I know that, Iβm not a mechanic!I would hate to think because they saw a woman they felt they could do the bait and switch since itβs a known practice. Who knows but extremely disappointed that nothing was done to correct their oversight except a βIβm sorry, it was my fault but the services were already performedβ. I thought I found my place to get my car serviced but unsure after this occurred.

Definitely going back to him after this lease is over for another good deal !!! He kept in contact with me, explained everything in a way that I could understand since it was a first time thing for me. I recommend Sam for anyone who wants someone to be straight up with them about a deal.
This Honda dealership is very unprofessional and disorganized . Went to purchase a vehicle the rep provided me with a price while I was there then wouldnβt honor the price since I was going to pay cash and not finance. The rep stated that he couldnβt make money off the deal so he wasnβt going to honor the price he provided unless I financed through them. Terrible
Horrible Experience!! I Called Honda City to verify they had the car I was interested in (Honda Civic SI), I told the person I spoke to I was 25 minutes away and asked if I came down if I could test drive the car, she said yes. I drove down and waited to see a sales person. I told the sales person which car I was interested in test driving and he asked me rudely if I was buying or test driving it, I told him I was comparing it with another car I was looking at. He then told me that this car was a premium and that he wouldnt let me test drive it unless I was buying it!!! This car mind you is a 25K civic. It is not a Ferrari. They were rude and unhelpful and I would never go down there again. I probably will end up buying this car but definitely not from them!!
From my initial phone call for a price quote, to the day I drove off the lot, everyone at Honda City was helpful, kind, and courteous. Anthony was an integral part of the process when helping me via phone. Once we visited the showroom, we worked with Dean. He was incredible; friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and so easy to work with. The gentlemen that assisted us with the finance details were wonderful as well. Even the manager on duty spoke with us numerous time to ensure that we were having a good experience. Ive had a great experience with both the dealership and my new vehicle.

I purchased a 2016 Certified Pre-Owned Honda CR-V, with poor credit I was not expecting a the absolute excellent service I received. My salesman was Erick he showed me many vehicles and was polite and professional. Marie the finance manager was exceptional and made the experience a delightful one. Low payments on the exact car I wanted with only 11000 miles! I canβt say a bad thing about the entire experience. I will recommend Honda City to anyone anytime. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. We had Sam as our salesman who was a true sweetheart. He had me and my husband out really fast and was informative throughout the entire process. Our finance manager Bobby was excellent as well and went over everything professionally without any up sell. Buying a car is never a fun process but Sam, Bobby, made it totally worth it.
