Awful. I had a 12:00 online appt. I get there and it suddenly a 2pm.I left and never went back. Never will.

Understaffed as of 2021Went here before and got speedy helpful service. This week I came in, waited for about 5 minutes till someone came to the desk, and they said they didnt have my online appointment and couldnt rotate my tires. I asked for a reschedule later the same week. They said OK. I called before coming in the rescheduled time to verify they had me ready. They said yeah we will try to fit you in it might be a bit of a wait. Then I come in and stand there 10 minutes, and give up.I bought from big o tires for the lifetime service. Very disappointing. Not worth the extra money unless you want to wait 3 hours for a tire rotation.

Great experience here. They matched a quote that I had gotten from another place. Mike is so courteous and knowledgeable (thanks, Mike). Just got my car back today and already I can feel the difference. I will come back for maintainance.

Spent about $2400 on brakes, tires, and control arms. Definitely overspent but it was for the convenience of not having to wait a couple weeks at some more desirable shops. They snuck in a fuel injector cleaner service that I didn’t know about. My bad for not paying attention when I signed the estimate. 10 minutes after leaving, my left axle fell out. They denied that they had anything to do with it. Every shop I’ve taken it to for additional opinions say otherwise. Not much I can do about that - So, I guess I lose out. Watching them stand around, and not pay attention that my paperwork was ready annoyed me. Spent two days doing this. Ended up not being convenient and not worth the extra $$. TPMS light is still on. I guess I need to bring it back for that too.

Great service, and extremely professional!! Blew a tire last night, and Brent and James were able to get me in and out in a matter of minutes. I appreciate the fast service and a job well done.

Scheduled an appointment online for 4 new tires and an alignment I needed badly. The gentleman who called to confirm my appointment was very nice! He was the same person I came to drop my car off to. He called a bit later after noticing I had a brake light out and offered if I wanted it fixed, I respectfully declined. Dropped my car off at 9 a.m., it was done at 11. Overall I was pleased with my experience! When I got in to pick it up around 2, another guy was at the front desk. He seemed like a stiff guy. Rang me up, didnt talk much. Gave me a receipt and my keys and I left. Thought nothing of it. I walked out, looked at my receipt and paid $610 for an alignment and 4 tires, I also was charged a tire protection plan I didnt know I was paying for (seems standard I guess) and a lifetime alignment warranty. I was initially offered an alignment warranty and declined, just wanted a one time because Im selling the car. Im never that guy or Karen as they call it, but I thought $610 was a little much. Went in to ask another guy what was done to the car and he was very helpful. The same guy I paid for the service with sat and side-eyed me. Everyones customer service is different I suppose! Again, overall great experience, quick service in and out. Pricey as vehicles are but job gets done and done right. A little disappointed I paid for two warranties that werent communicated to me but that couldve been standard service protocols, I dont know.

Talk about awesome!!! I was riding on donut and cane in pretty close to closing time. Brent helped me find the best deal and they could get me in before close until I realized I didn’t have my wheel. They were so nice and understanding as I bolted out to go get it and when I got back it was almost closing time. But they still took care of me. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff and even socialized so I wasn’t just sitting. Typically any type of automotive place doesn’t go above and beyond but Brent and the employees made it a great experience and prevented me from driving on a donut another day even though I mistakenly failed to bring my wheel. (Plus they write cheaper than discount tire and way faster!)

If you value your families safety - you wont shop here.3 new tires under inflated, 1 tire over inflated (+23) 3 of 4 tires not properly balanced. Broke my tire pressure monitor in the over inflated tire. Another Big O shop in KCMO replaced the tire pressure monitor but was no better. Took to a Ford dealer to get the balance done right. Still up to 3.5 ounces off on 3 of the 4 tires.

Our son dropped off his car for 4 new tires. After reading through the receipt my son brought home we noticed a $135 charge for tire services rotation ect. We are planning on selling the car in the near future and did not want the service. Our son said no one asked him if he wanted it so we call Big O Tires. We were basically told to bad once it is rung up there is no refund. We will not be going back

Started with a sidewall leak on a newer tire, plus two older tires needing repair led to needing a full set. Manager Normand and team did everything they could to get me tire credit to offset new tire prices. Ordered me a nice set of Hankooks from local warehouse and had them installed same day! Even took my best remaining tire and updated my full size spare to keep me on the road for years! Give Normand a call!

I was visiting the Kansas city area and had a shredded tire. These guys got me sorted and Mr Bauerly even had the guys fix another tire with a slow leak making sure my truck was safe to drive home. Didnt even charge me for that. These guys are great. Price for new tire was reasonable too.

I had a tire blow out today after work on 35 North and I didnt have a spare. I called this Big O location probably 30 minutes before they closed and they said as long as I was there by 5 they could help me.Brent and Savannah saved me today and I cant thank them enough! They could have pushed me to tomorrow or something but they were heroes and found a tire and put it on the wheel for me in less than 20 minutes after I arrived.If you need reasonably priced, fantastic service, please call these guys!

I am not usually one to leave reviews, but I feel the need to after my experience at this Big O Tire location. The Big O Tire in Lawrence, KS always took great care of me with excellent customer service and timely work, so I decided to give this location a shot after moving. I called in advance to schedule an oil change and coolant flush. Usually about a 1.5 -2 hour job in my experience. Upon walking in, they told me it would be about 3-3.5 hours due to under staffing (I can understand that due to the current pandemic, but a heads up would have been nice since I scheduled in advance). There was a minor issue with my oil plug threads needing to be drilled and tapped to a larger size to prevent leaking. Something that could be knocked out in no time.When all was said and done, I was out of there about 6 hours later. The manager, Mitch, was very nice and communicative when I went back to pick up my car. I had to alter my travel plans for the weekend, however, due to this inconvenience, and I did not leave this location with a desire to return in the future. I see some good reviews on this place, so I am hoping mine was an isolated experience.

TERRIBLE!!!! Went in to get my rear passenger tire repaired or replaced. Showed the staff member, Brent Bauerly, my rear passenger tire. I informed him that my tire was flat about thirty minutes earlier and I put some air in it and came over. I stated that I thought it may have a nail in because of how flat it was, just a bit ago. We went back inside to setup the service. He said they were short staffed and would need to keep it overnight. He started putting my info in the computer and said he couldn’t remember the plate on my car (HE WAS NOT WRITING ANYTHING DOWN WHEN WE WERE OUTSIDE). I went back outside to get my plate number for him. He said he would call me in the morning around 9. No one called the next morning, so I called and they said my car was ready and it just needed to be repaired, not replaced. Next morning, I get up there and I ask Brent what was wrong with the tire. Was there a nail in it? He responds “yep.” He’s not being interactive or courteous so I just pay $41 for the tire repair and head out. I look at my receipt and it has the driver rear tire listed on the service receipt (but the damaged tire was the passenger rear tire). I go back inside and ask Brent what tire they repaired. He said “The one on the paper.” Wow. I told him that wasn’t the right one, I needed the passenger rear tire repaired/replaced. He told me no that’s not correct & that he had reiterated what tire it was before he put me in the computer, blah blah blah. *REMEMBER: HE NEVER WROTE ANYTHING DOWN* I told him I would just take a refund and go elsewhere. He said he won’t refund me because they fixed the OTHER tire. WHAT DID YOU FIX??? WHAT “NAIL” DID YOU PULL OUT IF THERE WASN’T ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE TIRE YOU “FIXED”?????? They literally made me pay for something they didn’t even do. They are scam artists. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. I have called the corporate customer relations number four times, waiting up to 20 minutes on the phone and no one answers. This is THE WORST TIRE SHOP WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED AND RUDE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING THERE. THEY WON’T FIX THE RIGHT ISSUE ANYWAY.

I usually go to the Independence Big O tires. However, I had a “warrantee tire” with a razor blade on the inner side wall and the Independence location had none in stock. So Mitch, from Independence, who’s awesome, calls the Lenexa location to find they had one in stock. So I drive to Lenexa with a fresh 40psi and the promise of a new tire. When I get there, Nolan Mason - Manager, informs me that they just repaired the tire.They have an illustration, in the waiting area, explaining that only the center of the tire is repairable and that the corners and sidewalls warrant a replacement. But I guess that only applies to tires that ARE NOT under warranty. So I’m feeling pretty ripped off. Why lie and rip off your loyal customers? But it’s my fault for trusting a giant faceless corporation. Independent owned tire shops from now on.The only reason I left 2 stars is because after Lenexa Big O backed my car into a truck and broke my taillight, they replaced it for free. A tiny bit of “right” and a whole lotta “wrong”.

Good work and good service. The only thing i was not happy about was I looked at Big O tires website and picked a set a tires that I wanted. I get there and the price was higher than advertised from the website. I was told that happens a lot. I would check and see if you could that corrected so people are not mislead.

The worst experience I ever had, I have come here today for wheel alignment and once done they didn’t provide me with printout of wheel alignment details and given only the receipt. I actually have seen the mechanic has given couple of printouts that has wheel alignment details in the packet along with car keys to the front desk person. But the person has kept somewhere underneath the drawer at front desk table and said that he doesn’t have any papers. As I observed i asked for papers so that i will be aware of old and new readings and alignment status. But then they have come up with new talk that may be they have been misplaced which is shocking as there is no rush in the store and as per my opinion wantedly they dont want to provide me the details. Again i requested and they said irrelevant answer that the printer is not working to take second printout. But again i asked and requested them that it is very important for me. Then The mechanic who worked on my car came with a second printout but it doesnt have clear details and was said by them that it was a printer mistake as it provided different readings. I saw the front desk person keeping down somewhere in the desks the relevant papers and all this drama went on.This is the WORST experience I ever had and i can clearly feel that negligence and irresponsive, improperness from the front desk person. Even the manager i think is helpless except apologizing me. I never recommend this store for anyone and for me its a zero rating one. Never again to this store.Now driving after picking up my car i feel that the service provided was not that good. This is not the service that a customer expects from a store like Big O Tires. I may need the wheel alignment to be checked again at some other place.

My battery was dead when I got in my car this morning. Although I did not have an appointment, Mitch and Brent (I had to call 3 or 4 times to explain about the delay getting jump started) were both wonderful. They assured me they would help me whenever I got there and they did! Wonderful service and two great representatives of this company!

I give them 5 stars because what separates good business from bad business is to recognize when it is our turn to make things right and due to this, you have won my respect and business. I want to thank management for taking the time to reach out and ensure we were taken care of and keeping their word, I really appreciate it!

The gentleman that assisted me in getting my tires rotated and balanced was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. He was able to quickly assist and give me helpful and useful information for the future for maintaining my cars tire longevity. This gentleman was very personable as well. I mentioned that my spouse is active duty, and he mentioned his familys past with the military. I felt welcomed, taken care of, and I trust the service I received at this Big-O location.

They have a new manager that is interested in getting your car fixed correctly, and for the right price. The last manager at this location ($ Months ago) gouge me for a set of brake rotors I did not need. He claimed there was metal on metal. I looked at the rotors AFTER they were replaced, and lo and behold, they were within specs.The new manager, and his new assistant actually got my car fixed, (Wobbly front end during braking) that had just started. They added wheel weights, and balanced the tires, and changed the oil, all within an hour. SO yes, I would definitely recommend them

Christmas Eve and I needed to get a new tire. One big O store directed me to this one because of staffing, that was impressive. This store was fantastic. Friendly and kind on the holiday.

I brought my car in on Saturday afternoon. The gentleman working the counter was clearly flustered & complained the entire time to myself & the other customers. I was quoted a repaired car by the following day.Later that evening I was called with the news that what we thought was wrong, was not in fact wrong. The car was repaired & could be picked up anytime. Comments were made about whomever had repaired the car previously not being knowledgeable. Ironically, the repairs were made at another Big O.When I showed up the next day to get my car, the repairs were not completed & the mechanic assigned my car had not shown for work. The store manager was very apologetic. The tech showed up two hours late. The car was repaired & the manager gave me a discount. I appreciated the managers customer service, but, the other staff left a bad taste in my mouth. I have always loved the service Ive received at Big O. Back home, they were my go to! I relocated to KC MO a month ago & while I would love to continue to choose them for service, I will consider driving the three hours back to my previous hometown to insure proper service. Unless that isnt feasible, of course!I am thankful to the store manager & that my car seems to be repaired!

This location had been good to me until today. I called yesterday, made an appt for this morning at 10am. Only to discover that they are closed. I spoke with Mike and never did he mention they would be closing. The other issue is if my phone number wouldve been recorded someone couldve called me to let me know.

The guys at this Big O were great! I blew out a tire the Friday on labor day weekend and i had plans to head out of town. They were so helpful and kept me informed with the status of my car. When i returned on Monday my car was ready and waiting for me.

The worst place to go, I had just gotten out of the VA ( Veterans hospital ) and they push sold me on a poor plan costing over $800 for the tires when I could have gotten them done anywhere else. Their customer service in store is terrible and they charged me that only to be covered for 6 months, I would like the corporate office to reach out to me because this is the worst I have seen and being treated poorly means I recommend everyone stick with car dealerships for help.

What was a huge and unexpected inconvenience ended up being such a quick and easy fix, even on a Sunday! That was so helpful for me to be able to get in and out, and on with my day, like nothing even happened!

Everything about this visit was perfect. The people that work there or very pleasant and helpful and kind. The wait wasnt bad for getting all my tires changed. I would recommend them anytime you need new tires, the prices make the whole experience worth it.

I decided to go here for tire repair as it was close to my house. It was easy to set up an appointment; you can schedule an appointment online or by phone. Everyone there was very friendly. Tire repair took around 30 minutes. They already had fair prices ($10 cheaper than the dealer), but they printed me out and applied a coupon for a FREE flat tire repair. Great customer service; would highly recommend.

I was in from out of town and needed my battery replaced.The staff was super helpful to insure I was quoted an accurate price on the phone before coming to the store.It ended up the final cast was about $20 less than the quote. I found that experience to make that location very credible.I was in and out in 30 mins with a very friendly staff to support the service.

I took in my car after a nail punctured my tire. They fixed the tire and put it back on the car FREE OF CHARGE! Turns out there was an online coupon I didnt know of. Great manager. Will definitely recommend, will definitely return.

I have general tires that were purchased at Walmart. During the pandemic a bubble appeared in one of my tires and Walmart’s auto center is closed. I inquired with general tire and they told me I could have the tire inspected at any shop that carry’s their brand. I called this location of Big O Tire to confirm I could have them inspected here and the person I talked to on the phone told me yes and that I could come by any time. I asked again to confirm that I did not need an appointment and he insisted I did not need an appointment. I decided to stop by first thing in the morning and the man at the counter told me they will not warrant Walmart tires, I explained that I had an email from general tire saying otherwise. He then told me that he didn’t have time for me today. I can’t comment on their actual services but I’d say the customer service was not great.

So we were on are way home and out of no where got a flat... we called Walmart and Firestone and both were not able to do it. We were panicking because we don’t have a jack so we couldn’t fix it ourselves. Luckily Brent from Big O Tires assured me that he would help even though they were about to close. We showed up and he had it done in 20 mins. So thankful for the friendly service and environment that we experienced here today. Thank you!

Ive always had good experiences with their oil change service. They do a good job with inspections, and the include tire rotations are much appreciated. Be sure to check their site for tire specials before buying elsewhere.

Talk to someone on the phone was quoted one price to check my car when I got there it was $30 more. Then was quoted over $1000 more than the dealership to fix my car. No thank you.

Ive been here several times for various issues. A/C recharge, tire puncture, etc. Theyre always friendly when I drop off and pick the car up. I always research pricing and their prices are always reasonable or below market. I also dont ever feel like theyre trying to upsell like a lot of places.

Horrible experience. New alloy wheels now have weights on outside, and scratched. Tires do not keep air. Took it back 2 times..still not fixed! We asked for the old wheels back and they were already thrown away. On top of everything our keys were NOT kept behind a counter, they were alone and ON TOP. 2nd time we walked in, no one spoke to us for 10 min so we took our own keys and left. Unprofessional SERVICE and attitude. We asked for a manager and was told there is not one over the service man we spoke to.

BUYERS BEWAREThe workers are nice, and know their work, however they WILL make you spend money without permission. I recently had service done, and they basically robbed me for over 300 dollars. I was told Id get a call back to see what needed to be done, when I did get a call it was them saying that all the work was done. I called around afterwards finding out that more than four stores had at least 200 dollars less than what they charged me. Lesson of the day, dont come to Big O Tires.

I was very concerned when I saw the name change, but comforted by the fact that staff and particularly the manager Tim Hare was still the same. Tires are tires, but it is staff that makes the difference. I have been a customer of this store for many years and Mr. Hare has always treated me very well and I always come away knowing that whatever service I had done was needed, done well and I always felt Mr. Hare had my best interest in mind when making service recommendations. Hard to find this combination in the auto service industry.

Worst Experience I ever Had, in my life.Managers have no control of careless, lazy staff.Left ignition on Burned Battery up, Steering wheel was completely crooked After alignment, put down wrong mileage and car description, too lazy to mark new Battery. All kept hearing was the Franchise owner was a lawyer and had 75 Franchises..Who Cares! He needs to teach his Franchises to write down Vin Numbers, type of vehicle, Correct Mileage, Correct Tire size, know their promotions. Not force a,$139 battery down customer, for their mistake. The manager Brad and his Assistant Laura tried their best at apologizing, they deserve Better company to work For I also maybe old, but had more 25 years in Auto industry. Plus, ask Other customers. PS. I still have a lot more but, I feel foolish for not calling TV stations

I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to Bradly McDaniel and your entire team at Big O for the customer service and positive experience I received on May 24, 2018. I am a Field Investigator for American Family Insurance. I, like most field employees with all companies, have scheduled appointments throughout my day. On this particular day, I happened to experience a low tire on my company vehicle. Around noon, I stopped at a Casey’s and found the tire half flat. When I re-inflated the tire, I could hear the air leaking out. I knew my tire would be flat by the time I finished my next appointment and I would most likely also miss the next appointment following that. I searched my phone for the nearest tire business and found Big O at 8400 Nieman Rd in Lenexa. When I arrived I was greeted by Bradley and I asked if they could repair my tire in time for me to attend my 1pm appointment, and he assured that was possible. Not only did he and the technician, whom I unfortunately did not get the name of, complete the repair timely as promised, but I was also not charged for the repair. Although the free flat repair was not necessary, I so greatly appreciated the entire experience. So much so, I even shared it with the persons I met with and had contact with the remainder of the day and continue to do so presently. I am humbled by the customer service I received so much that it has become a pay it forward moment for me as an example of how we all in the service industry should treat our customers. Went to get into my 4runner this morning and the tire pressure sensor light was on. Right front really low. Aired it up and headed for Big O Tires in Lenexa. Dropped it off and picked it up at lunch. Great job guys! Will use them again.

First time here for oil change was end of january it took almost two hours at time didnt seem like big deal here about month in a half i need oil change? Go to Valvoline where i normally go and big o tires broke my oil drain plug go figure. Noone said anything to me or fixed it. Call manager all he can say is you should of brought it back in. It was a slow leak how would i know! Never again we trust you guys with our cars tell them do their job if they break something fix it!
